Winter is Here! #Vermont’s Killington & Maine’s Sunday River Officially Open for the Season

The wait is over for winter enthusiasts! Vermont’s Killington Resort and #Maine’s Sunday River opened their slopes exclusively to pass holders on Thursday, with general public access starting Friday. This marks the official kickoff of the 2024/25 ski season on the East Coast!

ok once again it's time for a poll inspired by another revelation that the part of the country i grew up in was maybe not normal

(To be clear I'm absolutely not saying that frost bite isn't an extremely dangerous condition [it's very dangerous]. I'm just asking about whether it's considered more of a common ailment that most of us have like "toughed it out through" once or twice where you're from, or if it's thought of as like an archaic terrifying thing that people who try to climb mount everest get.)
