Saturn Atmakaraka: Finding Light on the Path of Karma
"Saturn , has a tall and thin body, has yellow eyes and is airy (vata) in constituition; he has large teeth, is lazy and has coarse hair." Parashari 3.28-29

In Vedic astrology, the concept of AtmaKaraka is one of the most profound and revealing in the natal chart. The atmaKaraka, also known as the “soul indicator”, is the planet that bears the greatest responsibility for the individual’s spiritual journey. It represents the greatest challenges, lessons and the path that the soul must take in this life to achieve growth and fulfillment. The planet with the highest degree in any sign becomes the AtmaKaraka, “the significator of self” or “self-indicator”. This, as the lord of the Ascendant, can become the most powerful planet in your chart. It is the most important planet to consider when judging an individual’s spiritual nature, particularly in relation to its position in the ninth harmonic chart (navamsha). He provides us with a key to the aspirations of the soul. We often consider its position, such as the Ascendant, and read the chart indications accordingly.
This planet not only guides the purpose of life, but also indicates internal obstacles that a person needs to overcome to find their true identity. The AtmaKaraka position shows how we deal with our weaknesses, how we develop spiritually and where we should invest energy to evolve. The Atmakaraka carries the most important karmic lessons for this incarnation, becoming a key to understanding destiny and the soul’s inner motivations. Although there are many other important points in the birth chart, the Atma is special because it is a direct representation of the qualities that our soul has already mastered in past lives and those that still need to be worked on. Depending on which planet occupies this position, the nature of these lessons varies profoundly. AK influences how we approach challenges in different areas of life, right down to our spiritual worldview.
Saturn is traditionally the most difficult of the major planets, the legendary king of the malefics, that's why Saturn Atmakaraka is the most challenging. He often faces challenges in life, especially in the areas of work, health and relationships. Saturn is the significator of life itself. It indicates fate, term of life, longevity. A strong Saturn protects the life. Saturn is the planet to be propitiated in old age. He indicates the regime necessary for full life and longevity, violating which we suffer from premature decay and death. Though Saturn possesses a higher and more beneficent side, at least from the standpoint of the spiritual life, even this is stern and exacting, hard to live up to and to endure, a power of discipline, asceticism and solitude.
Saturn brings limitation and obstruction, hindrance in self-expression and in self-manifestation, which may become oppression and adversity. He is also known for being the God of Death, while Jupiter is a kind God. As Jupiter is the God of joy, he is the God of sorrow. Saturn is the significator of disease, old age and death; the great enemies of human life, which overcome all life bound by time. Therefore, the placement of Saturn in Atmakaraka is the ultimate issue of our life and destiny, the hard facts or the harsh reality that we must face. Because Saturn in the Atmakaraka indicates that the person may feel that his or her life is too tied to issues of responsibility, the need to make sacrifices or deal with pain and suffering in a constructive way. Here, destiny does not present itself easily or immediately, but is forged with perseverance, patience and facing the harshness of reality. For those with Saturn Atmakaraka, reality may seem harsher and so they may become depressed in the face of it. They refuse to give in to destruction but destruction is the necessary counterpart for creation, as is decay and death required for new life and growth.
Saturn gives bad luck, misfortune, difficult karma. It is the planet of bad karma or unhappy destiny. However, these may come upon a soul not because it has been bad or slow to evolve in past lives. Some souls, particularly those who are more advanced, may seek such things as a means of faster and deeper spiritual growth in life. Anyone can turn to the Divine in prosperity, but who can do so in great adversity? Such is the measure of a great soul. Saturn is also the suffering that makes us grow inwardly.
The influence of Saturn is to delay, to hold back. As the slowest of the planets, he slows things down, holds back their development. Those retarded in mind or speech are often under the strong affliction of Saturn. He makes us deaf and blind, stunted or deformed.
Saturn is the significator of old age, the God of time, who brings on all the degenerative processes of aging, the failure of our faculties and our powers. To the such a badly placed Saturn causes premature aging. Saturn takes away our vitality, on a physical or on a mental level. He causes depression, melancholy, self-pity and gives rise to worry, fear and anxiety. As a nervous planet, Saturn obstructs nerve functioning. He may cause numbness, paralysis or degenerative neurological disorders. His obstructing and repressing influence on the mind may promote neurosis or insanity. Saturn is behind most diseases, particularly chronic, degenerative diseases, diseases of old age, including arthritis and Cancer. As representing decay he can cause an accumulation of waste materials in the body and often is a point of devitalization in the chart.
As the planet of the ego, Saturn is also the planet of fear, on which the ego is based. Saturn creates fear and darkness in the mind. It makes us feel that we cannot overcome things, that life is against us. It makes us doubt ourselves, doubt even the Divine, and makes us prey to dark fears, fantasies, and phobias.

Saturn Devouring His Son is a painting by Spanish artist Francisco Goya. It is traditionally considered a depiction of the Greek myth of the Titan Cronus, whom the Romans called Saturn, eating one of his children out of fear of a prophecy by Gaea that one of his children would overthrow him.
Saturn is the God who eats his own children, who devours his own progeny. He raises people up, but eventually brings them down in a very precipitous fall. Those who are under the spell of their basic values will eventually be destroyed by them. He shows falsehood for what it is, in which there is the revelation of the enduring value of truth.
Saturn is not only in many ways the lowest of the planets, it is also the highest. Its lesson is the most difficult, but the most rewarding. Saturn is the grandfather spirit and lawgiver, our guiding ancestor. He represents not only the negative influence of the past that constrains us, he represents the positive spirit of the past that brings order and consistency to our lives. Saturn in Hindu mythology is the son of the Sun. The Sun moves in a chariot driven by Saturn. Saturn is the darkness, death and sadness that we must overcome for the revelation of the true light. He is the guardian of the mysteries of truth - which is possible only through a very precise and demanding cultivation of attention. Saturn is the yogi in meditation. He can give complete detachment and independence. He is the one who stands alone and goes beyond the limitations of the masses. It shows the path of transcendence, though necessarily difficult, by which all limitations can be overcome by resorting to our true and unlimited Self. In this respect, the power of Shiva, the lord of the yogis, the god of death and transcendence, can work through Saturn.
Saturn in the Atmakaraka places the individual on a path of self-improvement, where life experiences often involve long periods of effort without immediate rewards. The soul, in this case, seeks fulfillment that can only be achieved through discipline and acceptance of limitations, whether in relation to external issues (such as social responsibility, work and professional life) or internal issues (such as overcoming fears, insecurities and deep psychological issues).
Saturn here forces the person to face reality as it is, without illusions or escapes, leading the soul to mature and become more aware of the responsibilities it carries, whether in terms of individual karma or in relation to the collective. Life may seem like a constant search for stability, security and structure, but at the same time, Saturn demands patience to accept that the fruits of this search will not come immediately. Therefore, Saturn in the Atmakaraka is a position that brings depth and intensity to the spiritual and personal journey, challenging the individual to find greater meaning through experiencing the harshness of life, while working tirelessly to build something lasting, grounded and realistic.

Personal Nakshatras observation series:
ARDRA NAKSHATRA Part 1:
obs: this series will have multiple sources from random websites to authors/professors that contributed to the creation of this "Article". my opinions are not the ultimate truth and everyone has a different understanding of the same topic. my purpose is to spread my interpretations to help people. contact info will be available at the end of the post.
Nakshatra Characteristics:
6.40 –20 degrees in Gemini.
Meaning: the star of sorrows.
Translation: "The Moist One", "Fresh", "Green"
Deity: Rudra. (one of Shiva's manifestations)
this nakshatra story starts on the Rohini where Brahma (the creator) wanted to have an intimate relationship with his daughter, Rohini, so in the following constellation, mrigashira, Rohini turned herself into a deer to run from Brahma and he also became a deer to chase her and shiva became so furious that he opened his third eye in anger and from that a powerful spark emerged and transformed into Rudra and he cut off brahmas head to save Rohini.
this action shows the empathy and protective nature of Ardra.
ruler: Rahu. (north node)
element: water
guna: tamasic
dosha: vata
tree: Long Pepper or Krishna Kamal Flower (karimaram)
symbols: teardrop, diamond, and a human head.
yoni: female dog.
star: Belteguese
mode: balanced.
goal: kama (pleasure, desires, fulfillment)
Body parts: Top and Back of Head & Eyes.
Sex/Gender: Female.
Upward Facing.
Direction: West (or southeast). Color: Green. (mercury gemini)
Disposition: Sharp and Forceful (Tikshna)
Chakra:vishuddha (throat chakra)
story interpretation:
Ardra nakshatra is the first rahu-ruled nakshatra of three and it comes after mrigashira, ruled by Mars, the previous constellation talked about a mind that was constantly chasing something that most of the time ended up being things that would bring a sense of temporal satisfaction. Those people are those who usually are lost trying to search for something to satisfy themselves and after they are satisfied they simply go out searching for the next thing.
But things change when they arrive at Ardra, here is the first time the mind starts to wonder about what the mind storms and turbulences mean, and this time they actually are focused on getting to the end of the search that usually started at mrigashira, by dissecting the problem and arriving at the end goal fiercely like Rudra.
The star of sorrows
The nature balances the universe with its constructive and destructive abilities. water creates lives and also ends lives by hydrating and drowning and by striking lightning to end the bad and damaged environment that can eventually become powerfully strong as a diamond or cause mass destruction. This is how Ardra's energy manifests itself they bring a storm that transforms us either for good or bad, you are the one who decides who you face this.
pop culture manifestation
effy stonem (drug abuse, destruction, illusion)
Kaya Scodelario has moon-ketu (conjunction) at Ardra and she played Effy a troubled teen who started to drink and use drugs to cope with her emotions and ended up bringing destruction to herself and the people around her.
she was often seen as this sexy attractive woman and she used a lot of her seduction to cause chaos among the men
the illusion of drugs that make you feel like the mind is now pacified
she loved chaos so much that she chased it constantly or at least thought she loved it.
a beautiful young woman having fun you might wonder what is wrong with that? effy grew up around an unstable family and this led her to idealize the use of substances to escape herself to a point where she would constantly run away and record vlogs asking her mom to find her and nurture her.
ardra is the first rahu constellation, also called as the “birth of rahu” or his “infant state” alongside rahu it comes with the birth of the intellectual mind ardra is also called the star of sorrows and the symbol is a teardrop
effy represents a state of disorganized destruction and the consequences of self-neglect created by Maya, illusions, where one fails to find the strength to leave their storms and continues to feed their infinite hunger for emotional satisfaction and the inability to face reality as it is
the storms come to us but they don't come to destroy us they are here for us to thrive above to raise the heavens, just like Rudra throwing his arrow to the sky.
"Rudra is known as the divine archer, who shoots arrows of death and disease and who has to be implored not to slay or injure in his wrath"
Effy ended up with a psychotic depression. She attempts suicide but Freddie (her boyfriend), foreseeing this, saves her and she is taken to the hospital and later, institutionalized. Eventually, she lost her memory because the doctor used strong medication and he also manipulated effy into breaking up with her boyfriend and attempted to make her fall in love with him and murder her boyfriend.
to me, this is where the actress ketu comes into play, as you know ketu represents detachment and liberation and she finally achieved her freedom by losing her memory even if it was momentarily she finds a few moments of peace.
three years after this whole situation she moves to another place but we find her, she seems to be better but she ends up being arrested at the end of the series for being framed by her boss, he frames his fraud crimes into her. Eventually, she told his superiors and he got arrested as well
refusing to heal her past traumas, ketu, she ends up being followed by outside storms that mirrored her mental state; The star of sorrow indeed.
Taylor Swift (profit, high goals and achievement, superation, philosophy, and fame).
taylor is a pop singer and writer who started her career at young age when she was discovered by a executive of a record label and became a famous celebrity later on.
revenge, pain, mental disturbance.
(The snake is one of the rahu's symbols, hes the head of the snake represents the mental part)
she became successful due to her telling her heartbreak stories on her music, specifically her ex-relationships, her sorrows became her brand and she is often described as a revengeful person because if you mess with her she will just write a song and win millions with all of this chaotic mess.
Taylor has ardra moon-jupiter and her birth time is not confirmed some will say she is a sideral scorpio rising and others will say she is a Sagittarius, I personally agree with both but for the sake of this interpretation, I will ignore the house where this conjunction falls and give a general interpretation.
moon grants taylor the emotional unbalancing experience and jupiter grants her the wisdom to work with multiple music genres and the writing ability. We all know that jupiter amplifies whatever he touches and this granted taylor her huge popularity and success and guaranteed that she would be able to rise above all of the chaos she faced during her career. Taylor also knows how to play some musical instruments and when she began her career she also had some acting jobs.
“Patience in the times of conflict, Humbleness in the time of success, Cleverness of tongue in company, Attack in battle, Wish during fame, Addiction in weaponry – These 6 virtues are in-built and can only be seen in the brave man. Whoever houses these virtues becomes a great soul. Thus, the one who wants to succeed and become greater than he is shall house all 6 of these virtues.)” ― HEM RAJ JAT, RUDRA: The Name of Destroyer
taylor symbolizes the high ambition and dreams of the ardra native, the amount of chaos she passed not only made her strong but she managed to won again and again jupiter guaranteed her success and the ardra moon gave her the ambition drive to achieve it all.
rahu is highly ambitious and material-obsessed/attached and taylor shows this attribute by never stopping working on her career, she is one of the few artists who did not have a pause during her musical career and during the pandemic she not only announced two new upcoming albums with new and expensive merchandise
the world was in a pandemic state yet Ms. Taylor didn't lose the opportunity to make millions she broke records and became even stronger. rahu is also the significator of social media and taylor is highly influential there.
her gigantic success overshadows her character flaws and she also managed to create this persona, illusion, of ultimate good and moralistic character. this is once again due to rahu being a good manipulator and liar.
don't be mistaken I was once a huge fan of hers but this is an analysis and I cannot act blind towards her motives and actions, she is talented and manages to earn her success and she has good and bad actions just like all of us but we shouldn't be blind towards Rahu, right?
overall she behaves like a good agent of maya making fame seem delicious, fun, and worth having. to me, her story is of superation, hard work, and good writing with philosophical intellectual exploration on her folklore and evermore albums and just like effy sorrows seem to follow her around.
Daenerys Targaryen ( illusions, transformation, strength, fantasy and victory)
Emilia Clarke is a famous actress most known by her role as Daenerys Targaryen and she have a possible ardra moon
daenerys had a hard life and she was dependent on her abusive older brother, Viserys, and was forced to marry Dothraki horselord Khal Drogo in exchange for Viserys' army to reclaim the Iron Throne in Westeros. she becomes the khaleesi and with this new title, she also gained three petrified dragons as a wedding gift.
a little time has passed and pregnant Daenerys loses her husband and child, but blood magic allows Daenerys to hatch three of her dragon eggs. The dragons provide her with a tactical advantage and prestige.
Oftentimes serpents were described as dragons and magic is also another significator of rahu.
she managed to conquer the seven kingdoms and became the queen after many years of pain and trial she won with fierce and ultimately strength
Daenerys finds her inner strength and courage and emerges as a natural leader adored by her people. She is often described as honorable and compassionate, if somewhat naive, although she can be harsh and vengeful against those who seek to harm her or her followers.
here ardra manifests as a warrior whos strength and ambition led her to the ultimate goal the throne that she had lost and was willing to fight until she won.
Don't forget that also took revenge and created destruction all around yet shes a manifestation of a fearless warrior determined to eliminate the opposition without hesitation, just like rudra.
however she had a sad ending, she was betrayed and killed by her lover Jon who was also another candidate for the throne, she found out near the end of the show, after she became mad like her ancestors
the mad queen was dead but her legacy and story lived on to show how great one can become by using the right methods and having a good character one is also capable of greatness but just like all of the ladies before the sorrows followed her into her death.
okay being serious the last season was awful and neither her nor Jon had a proper ending we didn't get the chance to see her becoming mad like her father and her character was destroyed yet her story was awesome i dreamed of jon having the throne and i hated the forced sibling rushed romance and I've loved jon i am a sucker for the forced to become a hero trope fight me ... she was doomed to fall because of the prophecy and she did but she didn't enjoy the throne and deserved better.
End of the first part of ardra analyses.
this was my first post analysis so please be kind and i did my best to be impartial because i do enjoy taylor's work and the other two characters are good! i did not intended to throw hate at any these women i just did my personal observation using the constellation behaviour i hope i was able to spread some knowledge and also to help those who desire to learn.
please share your thoughts and if you want to recommend a theme for me to talk about feel free to do so.
and my reading services are open.

Debilitation Series: Saturn in Bharani
A debilitated planet means this planet has reached the lowest point in its own sky. There, the planet lies on the ground in a strange place, feeling powerless... At least, it thinks so. The sign and the nakshatra where the planet is debilitated actually allow the planet to fight even more to get back on its feet and become successful.
Saturn Debilitated in Bharani
Saturn gets debilitated at 20° Aries, that is to say, in Bharani nakshatra (Bharani: 13°20 Aries to 26°40 Aries). Saturn, the disciplined worker has now fallen in the burning lands of Aries. This place is called Bharani: the darkest place of Aries. Saturn, the cold and dry planet has nothing to do in this hot environment full of unpredictable threats. Saturn has many facets, one of them being the servant. The servant needs a balanced and peaceful structure to get his job done. It is usually a tedious task to do, which requires patience. Here, in Aries, everything is wild. It is a dangerous place filled with unknown threats especially in Bharani, land of Yama, the king of the dead. Saturn gets irritated, chokes in this narrow environment: it loves so much great space and fresh air as its ayurvedic nadi is Vata, the wind. Saturn, whose other facet is the rebel, has no more freedom to take action because Bharani is the supreme law of life and death. Yama is also king of justice. Nobody can escape, it is a confined space. Saturn gets imprisoned, it chokes, it burns: its legendary patience vanishes. Natives easily become impatient, they want everything right now but it never works. They can drop projects due to many setbacks but they will fail even more. Confusion, anger arises. What should they do? Saturn is the karaka/significator of karma, the action. They might give up everything on the way, because, after all, what is the point of all these efforts? Life is hard, and we are nothing. This is a typical teaching from Lord Yama. If Saturn represents the natives' self, then, sooner or later, they will think this way. They will be called as "pessimistic", but actually, it means they are just spiritual and they understood king Yama's lesson. Bharani is a dark place where one has to deal with competitiveness and fear of failure. Saturn is the karaka of fear. Natives have much more difficulties to take risks, they fear failure. It makes them feel even more frustrated. Besides, Bharani is not any common place for Saturn as it is its stepbrother's place. Shani/Saturn and king Yama both have the same father, who is Surya-Sun. However, Sanjana Consciousness is Yama's mother while Chaya, Sanjana's shadow, is Shani's mother. Interestingly enough, Yama is the judge of the dead while Shani is the judge of the living. Their titles have been given by their father Surya-Sun. But the enmity between Shani and his father is well-known. Surya Sun had first rejected Shani because of his dark skin. Angry, Shani cast his terrible glance upon him and turned the Sun into darkness. Despite Surya's apology, the tension is still there. Natives might have problems with their father, mother, stepparents, stepbrothers. Natives should use their debilitation to their advantage. Things will get better then. First, patience is key. Patience and calm will help them achieve their objectives. They should become aware of it, that way, frustration goes away, as well as pessimism. Pessimism will go away too because they will realize that slowness is their ally. Discipline will come naturally then. They must not give up on hard work because it is where they excel. They need their own space and alone time. They can be good healers too for people. If they take care of their servants or any workers who help them, these people can heal natives too. Natives can help in non-profit organizations or social welfare too.

1MILLION! Shin Soobin, aka Redy x BEBE! F Reader: Falling in love can be the most beautiful feeling, but what comes after can be a challenging journey. Were you ready to take the risk of opening your heart once more to the woman who had once shattered it?
Word Count: 2.6k
Note: ITS LATE BUT OH WELL. a tiny bit angstyyyy... just a tad bit. also first redy fic wooooo🥳.
Character Vision Board

Participating in Street Woman Fighter 2 represented one of the highest points in your dancing journey. Nevertheless, the path to get here was filled with hardships. As you were seated on Team Bebe's bench, her persistent presence served as a vivid reminder of the difficulties you had faced. Redy Shin, or Soobin as you known her through the years, was an insolent seed planted in your brain, but you could never hate her.
Because how could you hate the woman you fell in love with?
People do say your first love is like a drug, and when it's over, it leaves you in withdrawal. That’s basically what you went through over the last 8 years of your life. It all began in 2015 with the CUPCAKES. The newly formed crew consisted of multiple talented dancers.
Back then, the crew only had around 6 members, but when it started to perform, it gained much attraction. Especially the “Towering Trio,” Vata, Bada, and Y/n, which helped people to take an interest in the CUPCAKES. Your team called you Selene, or Sel, that was your middle name, being named after the goddess of the moon.
At the beginning of 2016, the team grew as more members joined. The most notable ones were Lee Minho and Shin Soobin. When meeting the girl, your 18-year-old self fell in love. Her aura and energy felt unmatchable, with her cute face masking the fierceness of her dancing.
"Selene-nim! I'm Shin Soobin, nice to meet you!" Those were her first words as she greeted you with an enthusiastic smile.
Deep down, Redy had been a devoted fan, particularly of you and Bada, so seeing you in person enchanted her. You stood tall, at 6 feet, and had silky long brunette hair that streamed down to your upper waist with a hat that shadowed over your large brown doe eyes.
The start of the friendship was amazing, dare you say, one of the best parts of your life. When you weren’t in the dance studio with Redy, you guys were hanging out anytime you were free. The moments like shopping, going to get ice cream, doing challenges that trended, and even just dancing together had you feeling like you were the queen of the world.
In 2016, you began courting Redy and succeeded in winning her heart, so by the time CUPCAKES disbanded, you finally asked her to be your girlfriend. Everything was going splendidly, with both of you in a state of bliss, and Redy always felt like a princess whenever she was by your side.
But everything went downhill in 2018.
As the global trend of K-pop continued to gain momentum, the lives of dancers like you and Bada became consumed by the demands of the industry. Bada, in particular, was deeply involved in creating demo choreography for SM Entertainment while you tackled projects with JYP. The rise to stardom brought along a scarcity of time. Still, you remained committed to being a dedicated girlfriend, doing your best to make time for Redy amidst your hectic schedule.
However, Redy's perspective clashed with what you thought. In recent months, she had been wrestling with a growing sense of loneliness. The persistent feeling made her question whether her relationship with you was holding her back. Redy was young, free-spirited, and had many opportunities ahead of her, but it felt like she was playing the waiting game when it came to you.
Adding to her emotional turmoil, both you and Bada had achieved significant fame. Bada became deeply absorbed in her work, making her increasingly unavailable to respond to messages. Redy was the kind of person who actively reached out to friends and cared for their well-being, so Bada's lack of response weighed heavily on her heart. The absence of that connection left her feeling even more isolated and hurt.
On the other hand, you made visible efforts to stay connected, which Redy acknowledged. Yet, each time she saw you and Bada featured in your Instagram stories, it fueled a cascade of negative thoughts, intensifying her inner turmoil. Photos of you guys in the dance studio, going out to eat lunch, hangouts with other dancers, doing demo choreographies for each other caused a pitch black pit to form in Redy’s stomach.
‘You two were mainly working under different companies but still stayed in touch?’
It felt unfair to her. She was witnessing her girlfriend and old friend’s bond going strong while her relationship felt as if it was hanging on the edge of a fine thread.
That wasn’t all. The increase in followers, likes, comments, and DMs on social media made Redy feel inferior. In those moments, it felt like everyone was fighting for your attention, and she couldn’t compete. At that point, she was mainly seeing you through social media, just like everyone else. Every swipe on every story and every post was deteriorating her mental.
Redy’s breaking point happened in a quick flash during a breezy summer night in August. You went out with a bunch of friends to celebrate the release of Stray Kids ‘My Pace,’ as you worked on the majority of that piece. You sat at the dinner table, Minho and Bada by your side as you ate happily.
The idol decided to treat his nonnas this time with their new co-workers, and he bought them a large feast. As the group ate, beside your hand was a small black velvet box and some flowers, a surprise for Redy after not seeing her for a few weeks. You texted and called whenever you could, making sure you made it clear that you never forgot about the girl.
Nearing the end of the dinner, you snap a bunch of photos and dumped them all on your story. After a few minutes, you get a message, and when seeing it was your girlfriend, you smile merrily, thinking it would be a ‘Congrats’ or ‘When are you coming over?’
But your smile drops once you read the small text sent by her.
Soobinnie🩷 Let’s break up.
With no follow-up text, explanation, or even a single call coming through, your sense of bewilderment grew with each passing moment. Your phone remained stubbornly unresponsive, and you found yourself staring at it in disbelief, trying to grasp the unsettling turn of events. You tried to text back, wanting to talk it out, but you were met with failure.
Mrs. Shin💍💍 What? Why? Baby? Soobin? Soobin-ah? *Message not Delivered*
In the midst of the surrounding laughter, Bada noticed the darkness in your eyes and leaned in to inquire softly, "Are you okay?"
As you attempted to muster a response, a surge of overwhelming emotions engulfed you. Your legs acted on their own, swiftly carrying you from your seat, and in your haste to leave, you left behind your sweater and personal belongings. The worried gazes of those around you intensified, but you were powerless to explain, consumed by an overwhelming mixture of confusion, frustration, and anxiety.
“Y/n!” You heard Bada and Minho call out but were met with looks of concern from others at their table. Your legs ran for miles. The drizzle of rain falling on your shoulders couldn’t even stop you.
As you stood before the door, you felt a rush of feelings surging within you, prompting you to ring the doorbell without a moment's hesitation. The sound of the doorbell startled Redy, and she sat up abruptly, a look of surprise on her face. However, her heart felt heavy with the intensity in your voice.
"Baby!" you called out, your voice quivering with deep emotion as you weakly hit the front door of her home, "Soobin! Please!" Your plea sounded desperate, and you panted heavily, trying to catch your breath after that long run.
Raindrops clung to your eyelashes, making it hard to see, and the cold wind cut right through you. Your soaked clothes and trembling body told the story of your determination to reach Redy, to mend what was broken between you.
"C-can… can we talk about it at least?" you stammered, your words rushing out, your heart longing for a chance to make things right. Redy just stood there, her eyes empty and sad as she listened to the rain. It was as if the weather outside had bled into her heart, leaving a heavy silence.
Did she feel like she was in the wrong? Yes.
But did Redy feel like it was right for her? Yes.
After bearing 30 minutes of the chilly breeze and rain, you sank into a deep sense of defeat, met only with a deep silence. Your body shivered uncontrollably as your once-black tank top now clung to your skin. Your hair dangled damp, with raindrops glistening on your arms like delicate jewels.
On that day and moving forward, you were never the same. Maybe if you had an explanation, you’d be fine, but there was none. The outgoing and vibrant version of you was long gone.

So here you were, seated, leaning back and supporting your weight with your hands as you stared at Kang Daniel, who introduced the show and judges.
Redy was almost in disbelief when she saw you during the crew introductions. She had to rub her eyes just to make sure she wasn't imagining things. It nearly brought tears to her eyes because you looked so different from what she remembered. In the photo, your eyes seemed cold and distant, without a hint of the warm smile she used to know.
When she glanced at your list of achievements over the years, a sense of pride welled up within her. She couldn't help but feel happy for you, considering how far you had come and all that you had accomplished.
“Her and Bada have been working together for years, right?” Amy asks and Harimu nods. “Since the CUPCAKES, im pretty sure.” As those words left Harimu’s lips, everyone’s eyes cautiously darted at Redy, who didn’t care about all the looks she got.
Mixed feelings currently lingered in her heart. She couldn't help but feel a little resentment about you being on Bada's team, given your history together. But, despite these conflicting emotions, she also thought that you were a perfect fit as the sub-leader of Bebe. It was like the universe had chosen you for the role, leaving her both proud and unsure of how to feel.
When in the fight zone, Redy’s eyes peered to the left several times, her eyes being captivated by you all over again as if she were the teen you met all those years ago. When you were all told to change, it was time for battles, and Redy was unexpectedly the first one up.
You didn’t have any no-respect sticker, and everyone was seemingly afraid to actually face you, so when Redy walked in front of your crew, you immediately knew who it was. “I choose Bada.”
Your best friend, who sipped her water, flipped the bottle in her hands as you pat her back, hyping her up a little. “You got this, unnie.”
Redy makes eye contact with you, but you subconsciously roll your eyes at her gaze, now feeling self-conscious about your presence. “Redy, why did you pick Bada as your no-respect dancer?” Daniel asks, snapping her back into reality. “I just don’t respect you,” as she said this, a scoff could be heard from behind her, clearly coming from you.
"You know, she doesn't need your respect anyway," you muttered under your breath, but Redy and your teammates heard your words loud and clear.
"Unnie, chill out," Lusher told you, giving your thigh a reassuring pat. "I can't help it," you admitted, your voice tinged with frustration.
As Redy began her performance, you watched as she moved to the music, showcasing just how much she had grown as a dancer. It irked you that, despite everything, you couldn't help but appreciate her presence. But when it was Bada's turn to perform, you had a strong feeling that your best friend would come out on top.
Your hunch proved to be correct, as the judge's cards displayed a light blue color. The younger members of your crew cheered with excitement, and you sat there with a smile on your face. "I knew you'd win," you told Bada, and she responded with an airy laugh. "Of course you did."
Soweon couldn't help but ask, "Do you already know who you're going to pick, unnie?" She looked at you with anticipation, and you turned your gaze toward the other three crews to your right. "I have an idea," you teased, keeping your choice close to your chest for now. After a series of battles, it was finally your turn. The announcer called, "Selene of Bebe, pick your no-respect dancer." You rose from your seat, took a few steps, and positioned yourself in front of 1Million.
"I want…" Your voice trailed off as you scanned each dancer on the crew, but it was when your eyes locked onto Redy's that her breath caught in her throat at the intensity of your cold gaze. You held the mic up to your lips, never wavering in your gaze, and then you announced your decision.
“Lia Kim.”
Lia stood up, shaking all her nerves away, but when she looked at you as you stood across the stage, all she wanted to do was sit back down and pray she could’ve just enjoyed your dance. “Y/n, why did you choose Lia Kim as your no-respect dancer?”
“I think it’d be fun, no?” Your voice was daring as you subconsciously glared at the woman. “I think so too,” her voice stayed strong, but as she puts down the mic, you see her sigh a little.
As the battle went on and you moved your tall body, Redy just stared, and her eyes couldn’t look away even if she wanted. Your hip-hop style was evident in the way you moved, and as you danced, she saw you smile for the first time. It put a smile on her face too, you would always love dancing, regardless of what you went through.
The smile on your face put one thought in Redy’s mind and one thought only.
She wanted to apologize to you and hopefully get back the woman she once loved.

After an intense hour of dance battles, the break time offered a moment of rest.
You decided to take a break and check your phone, leaving your crew temporarily to respond to some messages. As you exited the room, you saw Redy leaning against the wall, looking a bit nervous.
With a sigh, you asked, "Do you want something?" Redy seemed to snap out of her thoughts and nervously wiped her hands on her pants. Her eyes were soft as she gazed at you. "I want to say I'm sorry."
"After 8 years? You want to apologize?" You sounded a little bitter. "Don't you think it's a bit late for that?"
Redy's gaze remained sincere as she admitted, "I know I was wrong, Y/n. I was an insecure girl who didn't realize how tough things were for you. I thought I was the only one suffering while you were enjoying life with Bada." You sighed, thinking that maybe, after all these years, her apology was one of the answers you needed.
You couldn't stay angry, especially when you looked at the woman before you, realizing how much she had grown, her big eyes capturing your heart all over again. "You could've just told me that, you know?" you said with understanding. "Can I give you another chance? I want to make up for my mistakes." Redy's head hung low at the end of her sentence, but you gently patted her head. Your kind nature made it easy to give her a second chance.
"How are you going to make things right?" you asked with curiosity. In response, Redy hugged you tightly. Your laughter marked the beginning of a journey toward healing and forgiveness. For the first time in a long while, you began to feel complete again.

The Role of Yoga and Ayurveda in Diabetes Management
Healing from Within: The Role of Yoga and Ayurveda in Diabetes Management
Step into a world where ancient wisdom meets modern science as we explore the profound impact of yoga and Ayurveda on diabetes management. In an era of escalating stress and sedentary lifestyles, the holistic approach of these ancient practices offers a beacon of hope in the management of diabetes. Through targeted postures, breathwork, and meditation, yoga unfolds its therapeutic benefits, promoting insulin sensitivity and reducing blood sugar levels. Meanwhile, Ayurveda, with its personalized approach, delves into herbal remedies, dietary modifications, and lifestyle recommendations to restore the body's balance and vitality. As we delve into the nexus of these time-honored practices and the contemporary understanding of diabetes, discover how their integration can empower individuals to embark on a transformative journey towards holistic well-being. Join us as we unravel the compelling synergy between ancient traditions and modern diabetes management, offering a roadmap for self-healing from within.
Understanding Diabetes and its Management
Diabetes is a chronic condition characterized by high levels of glucose in the blood. It can result from inadequate insulin production, ineffective use of insulin, or both. The management of diabetes involves controlling blood sugar levels to prevent complications. Conventional treatments often include medication, insulin injections, and dietary modifications. However, the holistic approach of yoga and Ayurveda offers complementary avenues for managing diabetes. By understanding the underlying causes and impacts of diabetes, individuals can make informed choices about incorporating these ancient practices into their lifestyle.
Yoga and Ayurveda offer a holistic perspective on diabetes, considering the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. Rather than simply treating the symptoms, they address the root causes of imbalance, aiming to restore harmony and well-being. As we delve deeper into the specific practices and principles of yoga and Ayurveda, we will uncover their profound potential in transforming the lives of those grappling with diabetes.
Yoga Practices for Diabetes Management
Yoga, an ancient practice originating in India, encompasses a diverse range of techniques designed to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. When tailored for diabetes management, yoga practices can play a crucial role in regulating blood sugar levels and enhancing overall health. Asanas, or yoga postures, are a fundamental aspect of yoga practice. Specific asanas, such as the Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar), the Shoulder Stand (Sarvangasana), and the Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana), have been found to be particularly beneficial for individuals with diabetes.
In addition to asanas, pranayama, or breath control techniques, are integral to yoga practice. Deep breathing exercises, such as Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) and Kapalbhati (skull shining breath), can help improve insulin sensitivity and reduce stress levels, both of which are essential for managing diabetes. Furthermore, meditation and relaxation techniques in yoga can alleviate the psychological and emotional stress associated with diabetes, promoting a sense of calm and balance.
Ayurvedic Approach to Diabetes
Ayurveda, often referred to as the "science of life," is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Central to Ayurveda is the concept of individual constitution, or dosha, which influences one's physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. In the context of diabetes, Ayurveda emphasizes the balance of the three doshas – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha – to manage the condition effectively. Ayurvedic treatments for diabetes typically involve a combination of herbal remedies, dietary modifications, and lifestyle recommendations tailored to an individual's doshic constitution.
Herbs such as bitter melon (Momordica charantia), fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum), and turmeric (Curcuma longa) are commonly used in Ayurveda to regulate blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. Additionally, dietary guidelines in Ayurveda emphasize the consumption of whole foods, such as whole grains, legumes, and fresh vegetables, while minimizing the intake of processed and sugary foods. Lifestyle modifications, including stress-reducing practices, regular exercise, and adequate sleep, are also integral to the Ayurvedic approach to managing diabetes.
Benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda for Diabetes
The integration of yoga and Ayurveda into diabetes management offers a myriad of benefits beyond the regulation of blood sugar levels. These ancient practices promote overall well-being by addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health. Yoga and Ayurveda can enhance insulin sensitivity, promote weight management, reduce inflammation, and improve cardiovascular health – all of which are crucial considerations for individuals with diabetes.
Moreover, the holistic nature of yoga and Ayurveda fosters a sense of empowerment and self-awareness, allowing individuals to develop a deeper understanding of their bodies and the factors influencing their health. By incorporating these practices into their daily routine, individuals can cultivate resilience, balance, and vitality, ultimately enhancing their ability to manage diabetes effectively and lead a fulfilling life.
Incorporating Yoga and Ayurveda into Daily Routine
The integration of yoga and Ayurveda into daily routines can be a transformative endeavor for individuals seeking to manage diabetes holistically. Establishing a regular yoga practice, even if it involves just a few minutes of gentle stretching and breathing exercises each day, can yield significant benefits. Similarly, incorporating Ayurvedic dietary principles, such as mindful eating, balanced meals, and the inclusion of diabetes-friendly herbs and spices, can contribute to better blood sugar control and overall health.
Furthermore, the incorporation of mindfulness and stress-reducing techniques, such as meditation and relaxation exercises, can help individuals develop resilience in the face of the challenges posed by diabetes. By making these practices a part of their daily routine, individuals can experience a profound shift in their well-being, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-healing from within.
Dietary Recommendations in Ayurveda for Diabetes
Diet plays a pivotal role in the management of diabetes, and Ayurveda offers valuable insights into dietary recommendations tailored to individual constitutions. The emphasis on whole, unprocessed foods, as well as the inclusion of specific herbs and spices, can contribute to better blood sugar control and overall health. In Ayurveda, dietary guidelines for diabetes revolve around balancing the doshas, promoting digestion, and managing excess sugar in the body.
For individuals with diabetes, incorporating foods that are naturally low in glycemic index, such as leafy greens, bitter gourds, and whole grains, can help regulate blood sugar levels. Additionally, Ayurvedic principles advocate mindful eating, emphasizing the importance of savoring each meal, chewing food thoroughly, and being attuned to one's body's hunger and satiety cues. By aligning dietary choices with the principles of Ayurveda, individuals with diabetes can optimize their nutritional intake and support their overall well-being.
Case Studies and Success Stories
The profound impact of yoga and Ayurveda on diabetes management is exemplified by numerous case studies and success stories. Individuals who have integrated these ancient practices into their daily lives have reported improvements in blood sugar control, reduced dependence on medications, and an enhanced sense of well-being. From gentle yoga postures to personalized Ayurvedic regimens, these individuals have experienced a transformative shift in their relationship with diabetes, empowering them to take charge of their health and lead fulfilling lives.
These success stories serve as a testament to the potential of yoga and Ayurveda in diabetes management, inspiring others to explore these holistic avenues for well-being. By sharing these experiences, we can illuminate the path for individuals seeking alternative approaches to managing diabetes, offering them hope and guidance in their journey towards self-healing.
The Science Behind Yoga and Ayurveda for Diabetes
While the therapeutic benefits of yoga and Ayurveda for diabetes have been widely acknowledged, the scientific understanding of their mechanisms continues to evolve. Research studies have demonstrated the positive impact of yoga on insulin sensitivity, glucose metabolism, and stress reduction in individuals with diabetes. Similarly, clinical trials investigating the efficacy of Ayurvedic herbal formulations and dietary interventions have shown promising results in managing blood sugar levels and mitigating the complications associated with diabetes.
The convergence of modern scientific research and ancient wisdom provides a compelling foundation for the integration of yoga and Ayurveda into diabetes management. By bridging the gap between traditional practices and contemporary evidence, individuals and healthcare professionals can gain a deeper understanding of the multifaceted benefits of these holistic approaches, paving the way for their wider adoption in the management of diabetes.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the integration of yoga and Ayurveda offers a holistic and empowering approach to diabetes management. By incorporating targeted yoga practices, breathwork, meditation, herbal remedies, dietary modifications, and lifestyle recommendations, individuals with diabetes can embark on a transformative journey towards holistic well-being. The profound synergy between ancient traditions and modern diabetes management illuminates a path for self-healing from within, empowering individuals to cultivate resilience, balance, and vitality. As we continue to unravel the compelling nexus of yoga, Ayurveda, and diabetes management, we pave the way for a future where ancient wisdom and modern science converge to enhance the well-being of individuals worldwide.

My second weekly reading!! Like I said last time: I am going to do them just like how I do mine, I hope it can serve you in any way✨
Tarot: I used to take the first card as Monday and Tuesday, the second as Wednesday and Thursday and the Third as Friday and the weekend. But then it started to make more sense to apply all the cards to the whole week and I also started to look at the back of the deck.
I still read each card separately but I apply their wisdom to the day/days I see more fitting or maybe to the whole week. Remember that this is a general reading so take what resonates. Also in some cases cards don't make sense until some time has passed, feel free to revisit the readings after some time you can find them in # weekly reading.
I use the Fortunate tarot poem book by Kim Rashidi too, I will leave pictures of the poems because they are very useful to me. Sometimes his words spark more than the images in the cards. Feel free to journal about a particular line or what the poem made you feel.
Oracle A yogic Path: One chakra, one ayurveda card and one yoga card. I use them to center my practice around them or just be more conscious about them. It compliments the tarot reading but if you are not interested in yoga or this oracle you can ignore them.
It has a guide book that I will paraphrase, if I copy literally it will be in quotation marks.

Let's go into the reading for the week of May 20-26!!!
- 4 of Wands. Reversed:

A card about reunion, celebrations and joy, reversed. Perhaps some plans are going to be cancelled by others or by yourself. Remember to not fall into feelings of self-doubt and gloom.
This card reversed can also mean diaspora, maybe you live away from your family or someone dear to you is living far away. Call them or send them a message, let them know how much you miss them.
- 12. The Hanged Man:

The hanged man ceases forward momentum to avoid disaster and favours reflection instead. You feel like there's a delay, but there may be a reason for it; you are gaining a new perspective. A readjustment, maybe even an improvement.
On the other hand you may feel like something is restricting you. But trust the process, trust life.
- 7. The Chariot:

The card of movement, whether it is literal or not. Persevere and you may have your victory, charge down the path you are seeing so clearly.
Be careful though, because this card can also mean rushed decisions. If you are doing something important without a plan maybe think about it first.
- On the back, 6 of Wands:

The victory card!! You can achieve anything you put your mind and work into. You may get praise, a reward or even fame.
Your heart has opened to new possibilities, you are able to use the intelligence of your heart, always guiding you in the right direction. "Trust the journey of the heart, it may not always make sense to the mind, but it is aware of possibilities the mind cannot yet envision". To aid this journey meditate on the color green and do heart opening asanas.
This time I am seeing a clear path for this week!! Keep reading to get some guidance for your yoga journey this week so it can fully support you during this time.
- Anahata. Heart Chakra:
- Vata. The airy Dosha. Creative, imaginative and unpredictable. Reversed:
Last week you got the same so I will copy what I wrote.
There are many ideas floating through your mind. Reconnect with Earth, with your body and with your root chakra. Walk on soil, meditate on your belly and focus on one step at a time. "There is always more time if you allow there to be".
- Tapas. Niyamas, self-discipline:
"You've gotten where you are because of your discipline, tapas, and this will continue to take you where you need to go". You really committed to becoming the highest version of yourself and your next evolvement will require refinement of your inner strength. "Now is the time to ask yourself the important questions. What practices have I committed to? What practices do I still need to commit to? Is my daily routine serving me? How can I improve it? Where do I need to set boundaries in my life to further align with my truth? Am I showing up for myself the way I would for a friend or child?"

I can’t imagine there being a gay bar here hosting monthly kpop nights. In fact, I can’t even imagine there being a gay bar...! 😅
The cup sleeve itself looks so nice, and so do those pretty decorations! I'm so glad these events are a thing. I think it really builds a sense of (wider) community. 💕
Bouncy definitely has a 'kpop' vibe. The first time I heard it, it felt simultaneously like the least/most ‘Ateez’ Ateez song to date. But I know that was their plan. They’ve been saying for a while that they want to try and capture the interest of KR at large — whilst also being themselves and respecting what they already have. Which, honestly, I think they’ve done. It’s a nice song to just ENJOY and have fun with. 🌶️🔥🐐🥊🤠
That’s a lot of songs you made your way through over the weekend! I’m impressed. There were a few songs I wasn’t sure about at first...but now I’m actively adding them to my playlists, soooo yeah... 🌟✨
A miniseries would be great!! I’d love it if it was like the MV’s and the teasers — where there are just subtitles and sometimes voiceovers. That’d be pretty cool. I hope they do it. Or that they do something similar! KQ are clearly not afraid to splash a little cash on locations and cinematography.
Ohhh, I read the new Diary storyline/pages on twitter somewhere. It’s definitely on there if you don’t want to wait!
The Atiny and Ateez relationship is sooo good. Surprisingly good, actually. We’re really lucky that nothing significant has happened to create distance. Especially given how some fans are so invasive and overly familiar sometimes. Still, I think Atiny are mostly chill, and there’s not much guilt involved in supporting them either. Not everyone can vote every single time, or stream all day long. From what I’ve seen, it’s always just been a case of if you can, please do. And, yeah, it doesn't always work out. There have been a few heartbreaking losses on music shows, for instance (the one where they all had glasses of orange juice on stage to celebrate, but then they didn’t win, springs to mind 😭). Still, it’s like San always says, we can support Ateez with our whole hearts, but we should always be the most important people in our own lives!
JFC. YES. THERE'S SO MUCH CONTENT. I can only wish you luck because that is quite a mountain to climb! 😅
Wanteez is so good! I especially loved the latest drinking episodes! Poor drunk San! Someone save him, our tipsy tomato~!
Ah, I also love Woosan! 🦊☂️⛰️ I love their energy. I love that they bicker. I love that they cling. I love that they have matching friendship tattoos. I love: 'we're not always good, but we always choose each other.' I love: 'the best luck I have experienced in my life was meeting you.'
They’re super cute, and silly, and funny~!

I’m really glad that San is someone you can have as a bias — even if it felt impossible for you at first. He really has such a good heart! Just like Wooyoung!
Honestly, I think people often forget that about Wooyoung, because he’s loud and he’s hilarious. I mean, yes, he's always messing with the members and causing chaos on screen and on stage.... but he’s incredibly kindhearted.
Hongjoong literally said that when Wooyoung gets hurt by other people, he blames himself rather than them. He blames himself for trusting them in the first place, rather than them for what they’ve done to him.
Alsoooo, when that whole Ateez vs Vata dance plagiarism thing happened he was so visible in standing up for their team. Adding the 'driving' move to his The Real dance breaks. Calling out the copying. What a guy.
And then there's that time he called out a sasaeng for continually phoning Jongho when they were doing a vlive together. He's not afraid to speak up and it's such a strength.
Oh! Annnnnnd there's the fact that he cried after Yeosang's ending ment last year because he'd overheard Yeosang talking to his mom about a surgery she was having.... but YS hadn't told anyone in Ateez about it, including WY even though they'd been friends for 8 years. And WY had been so worried about YS's mom but he didn't know how to ask him about it. So, he ended up in tears when YS brought it up on stage.
Really, Wooyoung cares so much. I could list soooo many different examples of him feeling so much, and caring so much, about those around him.
In fact, I could probably do that for all the members! 😂💖
(/you have reached the end of my unplanned Wooyoung rant 😂)
Ahhh yeah, absolutely none of them can stay in their lanes. They're always swerving all over the place. Right now, Yunho is coming for me. The way he laughs shyly into his hand? Let me live, puppy~ 😩
Since day one, my bias has been Kim Hongjoong! I saw our tiny captain rapping with his pretty hair, looking full of passion, painting his clothes and his nails, telling off the younger members like a stressed-out dad, and I was like 'ahhh, there he is. He's the man for me!'
My bias wrecker is Seonghwa. So, I'm all about Matz~! 😂 But I literally love them all so much!
Well, I recently got an Ateez tattoo- lyrics from Promise. So, I recommend the Promise video from 2019 - although the 'Band Live Concert' version is the one I actually like the most, the 2019 one is just the one from when I first got into them, so it has nice memories attached to it!
Don't Stop is a great MV that people sometimes miss because it's not on KQ's channel.
I still recommend Treasure Film because they have to do a bunch of fun tasks - Jongho has to arm wrestle guys at a gym, Yeosang has to conquer his shyness and say hello to people on the street (🥺) etc etc. And there's a really sweet section near the end where they have to call their moms and tell them what they're thankful for. It's so good because they're actually exactly like their moms! 💖
There's also their cover of Black Cat Nero. Both the Immortal Songs stage and the subsequent MV are good!
And there's the song they did for Pepsi with Monsta X (and others) - Summer Taste. It's worth a glance. Changkyun coming in after Hongjoong?? Yessss, please. 😍
Talking of MX, Choi Jongho has got to be the most successful Monbebe of all time! What a king~!✨
Sorry about this being an essay length ask.... 😩😂
Honestly the production quality that KQ has when it comes to their mvs is insane! Right away I asked my friend who owned these guys - given the horrid history with certain companies, there’s some I’m just not comfortable supporting even in a small way - when she said they were fully indie I did not expect much at all - so I was absolutely FLOORED. They know where their cash cow is and they treat them well, it seems.
I actually ordered another copy that should be here sooner of the diary version! Should be here next week I think, so sooner than mid-July lol; I have a friend who is getting into the group with me so I’ll just gift them the extra copy (they don’t collect PCs or anything, so I often end up passing along my spare copies of albums that I don’t wanna tangle with selling 😂)
I sat down today and tried to go and make a list of all their different variety shows and things they appear often on (like their hello82 stuff, etc) and I was floored by just how much there was. Every time I thought I completed the list I scrolled and found yet another show or mini-series I had completely missed 😩 - how does this group have so much?? Do these kids SLEEP? 🤣
I have seen clips of the drinking episode and am so tempted to skip forward to it because it looks so genuinely hilarious, who the hell let them get that drunk 😂
My God I can’t talk enough about Woosan. I’ve always been preferential to bias pairs who have that tom and jerry soulmate energy but I genuinely haven’t had a pair that embodies it SO perfectly. The people you look at and you’re like, yeah, those two were always meant to find each other, it wouldn’t matter how many miles separated them, they’d wind up stumbling over each other in some way.
“We’re not always good, but we always choose each other.” - the way I almost burst into tears, I watched that episode just last night actually. Or the recent show - when San was asked if he regretted the tattoo and just, entirely unhesitating “never” even tho they’d been sniping at each other all day 😭😭😭
And truly! I didn’t think much about Woo at first; I kinda assumed he was just another dancer/visual type but since San wouldn’t let me breathe without Wooyoung RIGHT THERE I ended up looking more into him and he’s so sweet. My God, he’s such a caring, gentle person. Definitely the embodiment of more than meets the eye in so many ways. And he’s so mindful of all the members, he knows exactly how to play with each of them, even if sometimes it’s a little chaotic, you just know he’s always gonna be the one there if they need something.
I heard about the Vata thing! That took some real nerve on his part, calling him out so publicly - good for him though, there needs to be more people in the industry like him, it might become a little less corrupt and nasty if there were. If more weren’t afraid to call out the bullshit maybe people would be more mindful of not starting this shit.
And frankly his TALENT. Jesus. When I told my friend I’d picked him as my split bias for sure, she explained some of his past and being picked on by other fandoms, etc - it was heartbreaking - he’s got so much talent and deserves the world 😭
I mean honestly - all of them; I’ve never seen a more shining example of a group of just genuinely well meaning people who try their best to do the right thing, and so talented on top of it - like… How did I miss them for so long??? I got into kpop as a whole literally six months before they debuted?! I could have picked them up from day one! The way I’m kicking myself for it 😩
Yunho! Jfc that guy. He was the member I didn’t really notice right away but this comeback and as I watch more variety shows - he’s so cute?! And he’s got such a funny personality, bahh- I figured I’d be safe from him but nah, he’s climbed right up there. Instead of a list of 8 places 1 through 8 this group is more like 1, 2, 2.5 — Woosan; Yeo and Joong; then the other 4 - there’s no least favorite 😭
Ah! Tattoo! That’s so cool; I love it; my friend has an Ateez tattoo from Star 1117; I’m thinking I will probably add one to my sleeve as well, I’ll wait until after I go to a concert, maybe, unless I’m super inspired. I haven’t seen that video though! Another one to add to my list lol - but I have seen Don’t Stop! That video was insane, I loved it sm and the song was great. I remember sending it to my friend when I watched it with the comment “the sweet little criminal mastermind pirates” (honestly the number of nicknames this poor group has ended up with - my favorite was for Jongho, “the softest insurrectionist you’ll ever see” - and I stand by that. 😂)
Also omg Black Cat Nero - so this video is funny (in another I’m kicking myself square in the ass way) bc I’ve seen it pop up on my dash ever since it came out (the Halloween m/v specifically); and every time I saw it I almost clicked on it bc it looked interesting with San’s makeup… And I didn’t because it wasn’t a group I was into so I just… Ignored it. For two years YouTube has tried to hand me this damn group.
(Also no need to apologize for the long asks lol - I’m sure my non-atiny friends are so so sick o hearing me ramble for hours about these guys so I 100% do not mind 😂😂😂😂

Holistic Healing: How Ayurveda Addresses Mind, Body, and Soul
Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, is more than just a system of medicine—it is a way of living that promotes harmony between the mind, body, and soul. Unlike modern medicine, which often focuses only on treating symptoms, Ayurveda works on balancing the body's natural energies (doshas) to restore overall health. Today, many people seek Ayurvedic treatment packages in Kerala to experience authentic and holistic healing that not only cures ailments but also rejuvenates the entire being.
The Ayurvedic Perspective on Holistic Healing
According to Ayurveda, health is defined as a state of balance between:
Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) – Governing the body's physiological functions.
Dhatus (Body Tissues) – Responsible for structural support and nourishment.
Agni (Digestive Fire) – The power behind metabolism and immunity.
Srotas (Channels of Circulation) – Ensuring the smooth flow of bodily fluids and energy.
Manas (Mind) – Maintaining emotional well-being.
By addressing all these aspects, Ayurveda ensures complete healing, making it a preferred choice for those looking for natural and sustainable wellness solutions.
Healing the Body: Ayurvedic Therapies for Physical Well-being
Ayurveda believes that most physical diseases arise from an imbalance in the doshas, improper digestion, and toxin accumulation. To restore physical health, Ayurveda offers a wide range of therapies available at Ayurveda treatment centres in Kerala, including:
1. Panchakarma (Detoxification Therapy)
A deep cleansing process that removes toxins from the body.
Involves therapies like Vamana (emesis), Virechana (purgation), Basti (medicated enema), Nasya (nasal detox), and Raktamokshana (blood purification).
Ideal for treating digestive disorders, skin issues, arthritis, and chronic fatigue.
2. Abhyanga (Full Body Oil Massage)
Performed using medicated herbal oils to improve blood circulation.
Helps in relaxing muscles, reducing joint pain, and improving skin health.
3. Kizhi (Herbal Pouch Therapy)
Herbal powders or rice pouches are used to relieve pain and inflammation.
Effective for arthritis, back pain, and muscle stiffness.
4. Rasayana Therapy (Rejuvenation Therapy)
A specialized treatment to slow down aging and boost immunity.
Involves consuming herbal formulations like Chyawanprash and Ashwagandha.
5. Ayurvedic Diet and Herbal Medicines
Focuses on natural, seasonal foods that suit an individual’s dosha.
Herbal remedies like Triphala, Brahmi, and Amla are used to support bodily functions.
Healing the Mind: Ayurvedic Approach to Mental Wellness
Mental well-being is just as important as physical health in Ayurveda. Stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalances are considered the root cause of many illnesses. Some Ayurvedic treatments for mental health include:
1. Shirodhara (Oil Pouring Therapy)
A stream of warm medicated oil is poured onto the forehead.
Calms the nervous system, reduces stress, anxiety, and insomnia.
2. Nasya (Nasal Cleansing Therapy)
Herbal oils are administered through the nostrils.
Clears toxins from the head and improves mental clarity and focus.
3. Meditation and Pranayama (Breathing Exercises)
Helps in controlling the mind and emotions.
Enhances concentration, reduces stress, and promotes inner peace.
Healing the Soul: Ayurveda’s Spiritual Connection
Ayurveda emphasizes spiritual well-being as part of holistic healing. When the mind and body are in balance, the soul experiences peace and enlightenment. Practices that promote soul healing include:
1. Yoga and Ayurvedic Lifestyle Practices
Regular yoga practice improves flexibility, strength, and spiritual connection.
Dinacharya (daily routine) and Ritucharya (seasonal routines) help maintain harmony with nature.
2. Mantra Chanting and Sound Therapy
Vedic mantras have healing vibrations that balance the body’s energy flow.
3. Sattvic Diet (Pure and Natural Foods)
Encourages consumption of fresh, vegetarian, and light foods that promote spiritual well-being.

If you're seeking a long-term remedy, the Best Ayurvedic Medicine for Migraine can naturally balance your mind and body.

Worldbuilding: How They View Death
In Sri Lanka, Buddhists, Hindus, Christians and Muslims observe different funeral rites when it comes to burying or cremating their dead. Some beliefs have a religious basis while others are rooted in cultural and customary practices. I'll mainly be basing my world's practices on Buddhist beliefs, as that is what I am familiar with as its what the final scene of this concept is based off of. Furthermore, in my story this is not the reality of this world, but instead the religious and cultural beliefs of the people that inhabit it.
Does your culture believe in an afterlife? What does it look like? How does a person’s soul/spirit gain entrance to the afterlife? What are the consequences of being denied entrance to the afterlife?
Sinhalese Buddhists do not believe in the existence of a soul, Rather they believe that a human is a composite of five elements. At the time of death, these elements are dispersed and the most important one, consciousness, becomes reborn in a new existence according to the laws of karma. If possible, Buddhist monks are called to the bedside of the person dying to chant from the Buddhist scriptures.
Bryan Pfaffenberger wrote in the Encyclopedia of World Cultures: “The possibility of enlightenment and freedom from rebirth is restricted to those who have withdrawn from the world; a layperson hopes for a more advantageous rebirth based on a positive balance of bad and good acts (karma ) and performs meritorious acts (such as supporting the sangha) toward that end.
Traditions and rituals surrounding the funeral
Buddhists tie white funeral flags along fences and poles to help guide the spirit of the deceased. There is a common belief that someone who dies without fulfilling a long sought-after dream returns as a mean spirit and haunts the living.
A.G.S. Kariyawasam wrote in Buddhist Ceremonies and Rituals of Sri Lanka: “Both aspects of death — the message of impermanence, and the opportunity to help the departed loved one — find expression in the Buddhist funeral rites of Sri Lanka. Naturally, the monastic Sangha plays a prominent role in the funeral proceedings. One of the most important parts of the funeral rites is the ritual called "offering of cloth on behalf of the dead" (mataka-vastra-puja). This is done prior to the cremation or the burial of the body. Monks are assembled in the home of the dead person or in the cemetery. The proceedings begin with the administration of the Five Precepts to the assembled crowd by one of the monks. This is followed by the recitation in chorus of the well-known stanza: Anicca vata sankhara, uppadavayadhammino. Uppajjitva nirujjhanti tesam vupasamo sukho". [“Impermanent alas are formations, subject to rise and fall. Having arisen, they cease; their subsiding is bliss.]
During the funeral, monks preside over the funeral ceremony and high-ranking monks deliver a brief sermon. Those who attend the funeral are expected a bath to rid themselves of the pollution of death. Relatives have a simple meal. Close relatives wear white clothes.
The close relatives of the deceased sit together on a mat, assume a reverential posture, and together they pour water from a vessel into a cup placed within a plate until the cup overflows. While the water is being poured, the monks intone in unison the following stanzas extracted from the Tirokuddha Sutta of the Khuddakapatha.
"The context shows that the pouring of water in this manner is a ritualistic act belonging to the field of sympathetic magic, symbolizing the beneficial inheritance of the merit transferred by the living to the dead, as a kind of dakkhina or offering. The entire ritual is hence an act of grace whereby merit is transferred to the departed so that they may find relief from any unhappy realm wherein they might have been born." (A.G.S. Kariyawasam, 1995)
Traditions and rituals surrounding the preparation of the remains
After a Sinhalese person dies, the deceased's face is covered with a handkerchief and the big toes are tied together. Oil lamps are lit, flowers are spread on the bed, and religious books are read during the night. Bodies are prepared for cremation. Funerals for non-monks are preceded by a three-or four-day period in which family, friends, coworkers and neighbors visit the home of the deceased', where the body can be seen in an open coffin.
Before the funeral the body of the deceased is never kept in isolation. At night at least one or two persons stay awake the whole night with the deceased, sometimes taking turns to catch some sleep.
When a person dies in a Buddhist home, the body is laid with its head facing towards the West.
It is a common sight to see flickering oil lamps kept burning throughout day and night, until the corpse is removed out of home. Even in houses where electricity is available, these lamps keep burning as usual. The practice in the old days was to light up a few 'vilakkus' (small 'pandams' or incandescent torches) around the bier, instead of oil lamps.
All doors in the household must be left open 24/7 until the funeral.
Traditions and rituals around mourning the dead
After the funeral, food is not prepared in the house of the deceased for seven days. Some houses might cook food but not fry anything in the house. This is considered the mourning period. During this time, friends, relatives, and neighbours will deliver meals to the house of the bereaved.
That period ends with the ritual chanting of scriptures by monks and a merit transfer rite performed by the family of the deceased for the deceased.
Buddhists offer 'dana' (alms) to monks on the seventh day and on the third month and at the end of one year, which is considered compulsory. The merits of these offerings are transferred to the dead to help them escape the woeful state of the afterlife.
How does your culture view dying?
In Sinhala Buddhist tradition, death is viewed as part of the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and funerary practices emphasize the impermanence of life and aim to support the grieving family in moving forward
Buddhists say “Death is certain, life is uncertain”. It is a natural phenomenon, and every person born has to die one day. This is simply the way of life.
One of the main concepts of Buddhism is ‘impermanence’, meaning that there is nothing permanent in the world, and everything is subjected to change and decay. As this is a part of Buddhist concepts, it often connects to the events of life; birth and death, and in between constant change

Mouth Ulcer: Cause, Symptoms and Treatment
Never had a mouth ulcer before? Sounds unlikely! Mouth ulcers are something that we all have faced at some point in our lives. These small but painful lesions can appear inside the mouth, on the tongue, or on the inner lining of the cheeks, causing discomfort that can make eating, drinking, and even speaking a challenge. Mouth ulcers can be a source of persistent irritation. A mouth ulcer is typically a small, shallow sore with a white or yellowish centre and a red border. Having a mouth ulcer tablet can help treat this issue.
Common Causes Of Mouth Ulcers
Nutritional Deficiencies: Mouth ulcers can be your body’s way of telling you that it needs some nutrients. Deficiencies in vital nutrients like Vitamin B12, iron, and folic acid are among the most common reasons for mouth ulcers. The lack of these essential nutrients has an impact on the immune system, which leads to sores in the mouth. If you are prone to mouth ulcers, then it’s wise to always keep a mouth ulcer tablet handy.
Stress and Anxiety: When your mind doesn’t feel right, your body also doesn’t work right. Mental stress is a significant contributor to many health issues, including mouth ulcers. Mental stress and anxiety can lead to an imbalance in the body’s functions which may lead to these painful ulcers. Taking over the counter tablets is never the right option to treat mouth ulcers, especially when you are already taxed with the mental load. Taking mouth ulcer ayurvedic treatment is a better option for you.
Injury: Accidental injury from biting the inside of the cheek, brushing too hard, or using poorly fitting dental appliances like braces or dentures can lead to injury on the mouth’s soft tissues and this forms ulcers. You can treat these injuries by having a mouth ulcer tablet.
Food Sensitivities and Heat: Some food items may not work well with your oral health. Certain acidic or spicy foods, including citrus fruits, tomatoes, and chocolate, can trigger or aggravate mouth ulcers in some individuals. Heat and allergic reactions can also lead to the development of ulcers. A mouth ulcer tablet effectively treats mouth ulcers caused by food sensitivity.
Genetic Factors: Get mouth ulcers too frequently? Your genetics may have something to do with it! If your close relatives suffer from recurrent mouth sores, there’s a higher likelihood that you might develop them as well. If the history of mouth ulcers runs in your family, then a mouth ulcer tablet would naturally be a staple in your home’s first-aid box.
Symptoms Of Mouth Ulcers
Painful Sores: When you have ulcers, the pain is always beyond terrible! You have to avoid various food items and even beverages because they only make the pain worse. The pain is often sharp, especially when eating or drinking certain foods. Having a mouth ulcer tablet can help ease this pain and make the ulcers tolerable.
Swelling and Redness: The ulcers don’t just stop at causing extreme pain! They also cause the area to get inflamed, which naturally adds to the discomfort. The only way to treat this is by taking the help of a mouth heal tablet.
Sensitivity to Certain Foods: Spicy, acidic or salty foods can trigger pain and burning in the ulcer area, making eating and drinking uncomfortable. A mouth ulcer tablet can also help treat this issue.
Difficulty Speaking: When ulcers get out of hand, they may also cause difficulty speaking. This usually happens due to larger ulcers. This gets normal once the ulcers heal completely and a mouth heal tablet can help speed up the healing process.
Mouth Ulcer Ayurvedic Treatment
Ayurvedic remedies are based on balancing the body’s three doshas (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and promoting harmony between the mind and body. When it comes to mouth ulcers, Ayurveda focuses on calming the inflammation, strengthening the immune system, and addressing the root cause. This makes mouth ulcer ayurvedic treatment better than any other mouth ulcer treatment. Here are the top Ayurvedic solutions for mouth ulcers:
