Updates should start back up hopefully soon! Work and home life has been super busy lately and the artblock is attacking me BUT I'm hoping to have an update by next Sunday
#we lost two managers at work so me and the other managers have to work harder to do their tasks#and another manager was on vacation during all of this#but also home stuff has been super busy too#quite a few of the next moons get pretty long bc i have sooo many cats which is also why its taking a bit longer#i MAY consider breaking some of the moons up into two posts but we'll see!#crickettalks

Goddamn this year sucks so hard.
It feels like every month there is another big thing. You think life has finally regulated itself into a normal rhythm? Wrong! TAKE THIS! I can't even recover before another decision has to be made, another heartbreak is around the corner, another situation has to be dealt with that leaves you and dear people in tears.
I had so many plans and ideas for fics, I was so exited to write, I wanted to join in the shenanigans in the fandom, talk to you guys...
Theres.No.Energy.

#there has been some amazing moments too don't get me wrong#I got to meet more people from the fandom#I went on vacations#my bf and I might finally live together in our very own flat#but the other stuff weighs down so much harder#and it hits every aspect of my life too#I can't slow down and take a deep breath it seems#I really can't wait for this year to end honestly#I love you guys still and you're always on my mind#but yeah life is suckerpunching me and I can't focus on my dear blorbos😔

was chatting with a woman at crossfit after class yesterday and i mentioned that next week would be my first week off since i began 9 weeks ago and her first instinct was to say in a peppy, only semi-joking voice, “DON’t get FAT!” I—

it's been a while since i've cried hard enough to have a headache but. sure got there today, babes!
#ghost speaks#personal#ripped my favorite tights i've had for 5+ years and can't replace#can't return my glasses#got ptsd triggered by going past my old church because i took a wrong turn because i was. crying about not being able to return my glasses#have been crying for a solid 40 minutes straight#am still incredibly aware of how isolated and lonely i am#my parents are on vacation so i won't see a friendly face or get a hug till sunday night at the earliest#just. doing BAD#(well. there is the faint hope that the office manager will take pity on me since her office literally cannot manufacture lenses#that will meet my needs)#(but considering i spent a lot of the last hour yelling and begging out loud trying to work out a maximally sympathetic pitch)#(and also dreading 1-2 years of not having transition lenses because theirs fuck with my color vision)#(i'm not sure the hope makes things. better?)#i am gonna. make hot chocolate because it sounds like a marginal improvement over crying without that#the last time i couldn't stand up or i'd start crying harder was yesterday but boy did i not miss it#i thought i might feel better in the morning. ha. ha ha. ha#(like i know this is temporary i'm just. i just. i am so tired and SO stupidly ridiculously incredibly upset)#(like my emotional equilibrium right now is. not)

#need to rant about an in law because I’m beyond pissed#asked a family member to watch the dogs months ago for a weekend because we’re going on vacation#was going to pay him $300 plus the fridge will be stocked with food and they’re the easiest dogs ever#how is he going to flake last minute and keep me and my parents waiting after they cooked a big meal#less than a week before we leave and it’s going to be so much harder to find someone now#I don’t understand how people can do that and it’s such an embarrassing impression#like at least openly communicate and give us a heads up what the actual fuck#ughhhhhhh#personal

honestly fuck my new roommate. they've genuinely put zero effort into making me feel welcome or just trying to get to know me at all, they're rude and ungenerous and boring and I already don't want to have anything to do with them anymore
