i'm just curious, if you project yourself into the reader whenever you read fanfictions, do you imagine it with the visual style of the canon (i.e. in-game genshin/hsr) itself? or does your brain somehow adapts it to a 2d anime visuals (i.e. like those animated shorts)? or even real life visuals somehow? perhaps a mix of them all? what about when you read sagau fics? what about isekai fics?

Aurora theory:

At least part of why Alinua is the first of Life's successful attempts is because she's a Cloud Elf.

Evidence:

Life can be found in Water and Stone, but is rejected by Wind

Cloud Elves are likely influenced more by Wind than anything else, due to originating in the Archipelago Nimbus

It makes sense that part of the reason she didn't get chimerically overwhelmed by Life, is because it's a little more balanced out by the Wind influence.

Given this line of thought, it's possible that either it would've had a similar effect with another Wind-influenced person (like a Siren or Wind Elf); OR more Wind influence would interfere too much, and it worked with a Cloud Elf because they're largely uninfluenced in comparison to others, while still having enough to balance out the large amount of Life power.

(Side note: given that Wind rejects Life & Stone rejects Lightning, it makes it so that having a Wind-influenced Life mage & a Stone-influenced Lightning mage in the Floof Squad pretty dang cool. I wonder if it also plays a partial role in Lightning being able to cause a Spark... (it would make sense even without but it's possible that it still plays a role))
