Parce-qu'au vu de l'ampleur de la situation, du drame, qui est entrain de se produire ; il est plus important que jamais d'être conscient.e et de comprendre ce qui se passe qu'il se passe et ce qu'il se joue 🙏

Chose pour laquelle nous ne pouvons clairement pas compter sur nos médias, vu le manque flagrant d'impartialité dans le traitement médiatique des évènements... (spoiler alert : j'entends par là que notre gouvernement est clairement pro-israélien, ce qui s'illustre dans les prises de décisions récentes (ex : l'interdiction de toute marche en soutient au peuple palestinien) ainsi que les informations transmises par nos médias (qui ne sont pas toujours avérées par ailleurs).

Je listerais principalement ci-dessous différentes sources d'informations sur le conflit israélo-palestinien, tant sur l'actualité que certaines reprenant l'historique de ce conflit (sur lequel il est essentiel de se renseigner et de s'éduquer pour comprendre la situation, on parle ici d'un conflit ayant plus de 75 ans d'histoire).

C'est aujourd'hui le strict minimum que nous pouvons faire qui relève pour ainsi dire de notre devoir, on parle d'un gén*cide : nous ne pouvons pas attendre des concerné.e.s de faire ce travail de compréhension et de recherches pour nous alors qu'iels luttent littéralement pour leur survie.

L'origine du conflit israélo-palestinien

Je ne vais faire qu'un résumé très bref de l'origine de ce conflit, qui est le strict minimum pour avoir une clé de compréhension sur ce qui se joue ; cela n'est cependant pas suffisant pour tout comprendre ni un résumé de tout le conflit ; faites vos recherches par la suite s'il vous plait 🙏

Le conflit israélo-palestinien trouve son origine à la fin de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, lorsque le Royaume-Unis a offert aux juif.ve.s de s'installer sur un territoire qu'il (le Royaume-Unis) leur a " donné" : ce territoire se trouvait être la Palestine et était donc déjà occupé par le peuple palestinien.

Depuis, ce qui se revendique comme étant l’État d’Israël envahit le territoire Palestinien et massacre sa population (on parle bien de massacres oui, vous comprendrez assez rapidement l'étendue de la violence subit par les palestiniens depuis plus de 75 ans en vous renseignant)

Ainsi qu'un graphique nombrant les blessé.e.s et mort.e.s du côté palestinien et israélien depuis 2008 (alors s'il vous pait, ayez en tête que les rapports de force entre Israël et la Palestine ne sont pas égaux ; Israël dispose d'une force armée et politique (entre autre) que la Palestine n'effleure même pas)

Sionisme et religion

Deux points expliqués rapidement et succinctement mais qui ont toutes leurs importances au vu de l'enjeu des mots utilisés dans le traitement des évènements 🙏

Ce qui se passe actuellement n'est pas un conflit ni une guerre religieuse, ce n'est pas les juifs contre les musulmans. Il s'agit ici d'un conflit de territoire, des opressé.e.s (les palestiniens) luttant contre leurs oppresseurs, envahisseurs et colons (les israéliens) ; les médias essayent de résumer ce conflit à un conflit religieux pour targuer d'antisémitisme toute personne osant soutenir la Palestine et/ou remettre en question les actions de l’État d'Israël.

Le sionisme est un mouvement regroupant une partie du peuple juif (et je dis bien une partie, il ne s'agit pas d'une pensée ni de valeurs partagés par l'ensemble du peuple juif.ve ; les sionistes pourraient être assimilé§.e.s à une minorité extrémiste du peuple juif, je vous laisse cependant le soin de vous renseignez le sujet pour comprendre ce mouvement)

Le mouvement sioniste prône, entre autre, la légitimité des juif.ve.s à construire un " état juif " sur le territoire palestinien.

Il est cependant important de comprendre que :

S'opposer au sionisme n'est pas être anti-sémite (c'est aujourd'hui le raccourci fait par les médias et les pro-israëliens afin de rendre leur partie intouchable, après tout, qui veut être traiter d'antisémite ?) S'opposer au sionisme c'est s'opposer à une minorité extrémiste revendiquant ses droits sur un territoire qui n'est pas le sien

Biais médiatique

Car il est important d'en dire quelque chose, d'être conscient que nos médias sont biaisés et sont tournés en faveur d'Israël, tout comme notre gouvernement.

Ces positions s'illustre par exemple : par l'interdiction de toute marche de soutient au peuple palestinien.

(Attention à celleux qui comptent participer aux marches s'organisant malgré tout ; Darmanin a donné la consigne aux préfets d'expulser du territoire toute personne interpellé.e lors de l'une de ces marches (considéré comme acte anti-sémite par le gouvernement) qui n'est pas de nationalité française, qu'importe le statut de la personne (même si détentrice d'un titre de séjour donc)

La désinformation est plus importante que jamais ; entre les informations déformées et celles erronées. Pas plus tard qu'aujourd'hui, la Maison Blanche est revenue sur l'affirmation de Joe Biden qui avait dit avoir vu des photos (preuves) de la décap*tation de bébés par le H*mmas (puisque cette information, malgré les médias qui s'en sont saisit, n'a pas été confirmé ni vérifié)

Gaza

Pour qu'on soit tou.te.s bien d'accord sur ce qui passe actuellement à Gaza : Gaza est actuellement un camp d'exterm*nation en plein air. Les gazaouis ne peuvent pas fuir : Israël a bombardé l'accès lié à l'Egypte et condamné les autres qui sont sous surveillance militaire israélienne.

Israël mène actuellement un blocus entier et total de Gaza : la ville n'est plus approvisionné en eau, électricité, nourriture et ressources pour les soins médicaux.

Gaza est une ville de 2,5 millions d'habitant.e.s (dont 50% ont moins de 15 ans) que Israël est entrain de tuer à coup de bombardements incessants sur les zones résidentiels : les civils sont visés. On parle ni plus ni moins que d'un gén*cide.

N'ignorons par la situation, il est plus important que jamais d'apporter notre soutient au peuple palestinien face aux massacres dont-iels sont victimes 🙏 (ça l'a toujours été, mais aujourd'hui plus encore)

In a gffa with no order 66, where Anakin leaves the order (because you know, he doesn’t really want to be there, he wants to go be a senator’s arm candy), Ahsoka needs a new master to complete her training (because she comes back to the order because they are her family and she wants to be there).

The right answer: Obi-wan. They love each other, they are family, let them heal their relationship.

The better answer: Luminara Unduli. They had a good rapport when they worked together in TCW. But these two need to heal from betrayals and hurts that few others in the order can understand. Let Master Unduli temper Ahsoka’s more impulsive qualities. Let Ahsoka breath new life into Master Unduli’s spirit (we don’t see her after Barriss’s fall, but you can’t convince me she wasn’t big sad and maybe Ahsoka’s special brand of snippiness can help).

me and my friend were discussing this, and i’m curious to hear your opinion- do you think the original VAs will be reprising their roles for the Bachelor route? because it’s been a few years, and i wonder if they’re all still up to it.

and like, a lot of lines can be reused, but they gotta voice act stuff for Daniil-specific lines and for the plays, right?

Great question... my first thought was that "intended for Bachelor" spoken dialogue lines had already been recorded, such as dankovsky's "I never even told her how I felt" (I think it's unused? although not flagged as such on the wiki...). Optimistically my money's on getting 75% of the original VAs to return if they do record new lines, but the de-emphasis of the Bound as characters (and generally how many costs are being cut by re-using assets) makes this less likely in my mind.

I think the nonlinear time framing makes it less likely that we'll even have pantomimes in a similar structure (although... a different structure with the same Theatre concept would be great, like a recap of how your actions in a given gameplay segment affected the timeline proceeding from there. Situations where going to the plays is helpful each time to understand what's happening. However, the game's not open-world so physically going to the Theatre wouldn't work...)! I'm very much hoping that the broad plot will diverge from all of the events late haruspex route contained, so at least in narration anything like its pantomimes would need new VO, but using only Talon and Beak's actors would be a very effective band-aid - emphasizing some level of detachment from the people's experience, and the sense that the bachelor sees himself in a grandiose tragic narrative. though again, generic/new characters taking up more of the spotlight would help!
