#critical role #the legend of vox machina #tlovm #tlovm spoilers #for my tags #tag edit: I typo'd season 2 instead of 3 you saw nothing #I can see why they've made certain changes like keeping Percy deader dead and longer vs all the deaths VM had in-game #and I am liking them bc it keeps you on your toes even if you watched campaign 1 and/or are familiar with it #bc all the in-game deaths can definitely make death feel trivial when they can get res'd easily by a high level party with resources #and for the show they have to make them stick more WHICH MAKES ME WONDER PROBABLY THE SAME THING EVERYONE ELSE IS #WHAT COOL NEW SHIT ARE THEY DOING FOR THE FINAL 3 SEASON 3 EPS #ALSO KASHAW!! OH NO!!! 1 AM is the perfect time to try to revive this laptop that doesn’t function due to windows bloat (presumably)

Last time I tried to login it froze for an hour and when I finally got in and tried to open anything it would freeze up completely.

Let’s see if it works

#this thing is a brick. heavy. but not sturdy. build quality sucks and the screen does too #it actually has an optical drive. I think it’s from 2018? anyways #this thing only ever got used by my mom to check emails and edit documents #I really don’t know why it stopped working #she got a new laptop and left it in a drawer and when I found it. shit didn’t work.#If this works then I won’t have to use a vm anymore lol #going to try installing Kali linux. which I only use for tryhackme rooms and related things at school #I’m just hoping this works and isnt unbearably slow

#I got weirdly emotional making this... lil tear in my eye maybe- dont tell anyone #God I just loved this show so much since I was like 10 years old and its been 18 yrs and I rewatched 100 times when I used to make gifs #I mean this blog exists becuase this show compelled me enough to learn how to make gifs- i still have an email from 2012 telling WB #we want a movie to finish the series- i donated to the kickstarter i was there for all the fun that entailed I watched the movie i read #the book- god did I love this series. so nostalgic for me now... Having to do some truly heinous, convoluted bullshit to outlook via rules and power automate in order to circumvent a problem that would not EXIST if they would give a SINGLE person on my team the permissions to save SAP BI reports directly to a network drive, which is absolutely a function it has out of the box.

#INSTEAD I: have to set up an Outlook rule that copies these emails to a folder #then a PA flow that will save those attachments to a specific series of Sharepoint folders #which I then download #in order to upload the files to a network location #this is because our PREVIOUS bullshit solution was editing the registry to allow Outlook to run a VBA script to sort and upload the reports #which only runs on a VM which we have LOST ACCESS TOO and IT does not know why (they still have access)#this is a Real and Functional company :|
