I apologise profusely for taking so long but the last few weeks have been crazy, still are, but I had to post! Absolutely! I don't know if I will be able to keep up a precise frequency with posting, but I hope I won't go too long! Just know, dear Eric, that I will publish it all!

That said, I hope with all my heart you enjoy this silly little story. It smells like a Hallmark movie to death but that's the beauty of Christmas, isn't it?

This is my very first multi chapters, so be forgiving!!! I know it's no longer fashionable to write short chapters but... at least it's something, right?

I hope, Eric, I've nailed your taste! I definitely got caught up in "humour", "romance" and "all things British" (you'll see why...).

Oil and Water - Klaine fic - (December Klaine Challenge 2003: Day 1 -Plead)

So @madas-ahatters-world and I are going to try to take a stab at the @klaineadvent December Klaine Challenge this year.

Here's a little something inspired by a previous fic, What's Cooking? Kurt and Blaine are rival celebrity chefs.

So basically, this is for you, @rockitmans ! 😊

He was not going to give goddamn Blaine Devon Anderson, of all people, the satisfaction.

Not after the stunt he pulled in the greenroom not that long ago.

“You’re not going to try, not even a little of one?” Blaine pleaded as he shook the open box towards Kurt.

"And why should I do that?  No doubt they've been poisoned somehow," Kurt muttered under his breath as he slowly circled the enormous gingerbread house they were tasked to decorate.

Together .  .  . on air.

Jimmy Fallon was so going to owe him one for this stunt.

Hey everyone! Exciting things are happening!

@esilher and I have started a grand collaboration! Strap yourselves in for a series of medieval!klaine artworks staring knight!Blaine and prince!Kurt drawn by the two of us, accompanied by little drabbles written by me. This one is the first of many. Hope you enjoy!

“Lord Hummel.” Blaine addressed the crown prince as he strode into the throne room. 

The king was away on a peacekeeping mission in the north and had left the crown prince in charge. “It’ll be good practice, for once you are the ruler of this land,” his father had said. 

Blaine had just returned from an important mission himself to scout the eastern border. There were rumours that groups of bandits were organising raids there and, as Captain of the King's Royal Guard, the great responsibility of perserving the safety of the kingdom rested on his shoulders. 

Kurt smiled brightly at the knight. “Sir Blaine, I’m so glad to see you have returned.” 

Blaine walked up to the throne and kneeled in front of the prince in the formal position: down on one knee, presenting his sword and bowing his head down low. “Thank you, Your Grace,” he said. Then, suddenly, he felt a hand softly touching his cheek. 

“You don't have to bow for me, you fool.” The prince spoke in a soft voice and he caressed the knight's cheek with his thumb.

Blaine lifted his head, a blush painting his cheeks as he looked into the kind eyes of his love. “But the guards…” he stammered, slowly rising to his feet.

“The guards will have to get used to it whilst I'm sitting on this throne,” Kurt said. “Now, tell me about your mission.”
