“I guess I can tell this story, but you know who Stevie Nicks is from Fleetwood Mac? I always thought she was like an ice queen. [But] she just walked up and said, “You know, I was having a hard time once and I watched that movie [Caddyshack] and I watched it, like, for a week or something. I just kept watching that movie and it just cheered me up so much.” And I thought, “Man, if I did something like that for someone who’s such an important person to so many people, in what she brings, you know?” I felt really good about that.” —Bill Murray, 2014

birthday scavenger hunt!
satoru x reader —ᡣ𐭩 fic summary: satoru loves to spoil you on your birthday <33 cw: quite self-indulgent, girl-coded a/n: just a girl who is turning 22 tomorrow and has a deep love for unattainable, stupidly expensive bags and jewellery <3 (p.s. i kinda hate this but i wanted to post :))
Tumblr media
a bouquet of pink and white chrysanthemums sits on the stove. they're large and fresh and fill the kitchen with a sweet scent, but what makes your skin warm and tingle is that there are as many flowers as the age you turn today.
plucking the small note hidden between the petals, you flip it open, expecting to see a printed message from the florist. instead, it's your boyfriend's chicken scratch penmanship.
you’ll see your complexion in my reflection (and NO it's not my eyes hehe).
you roll your eyes and fight a smile from spreading across your lips before laying the note on the induction stove. this was the second note you received this morning.
the first was resting on satoru's side of the bed. you'd frowned at his empty spot but knew what he was up to when you read the paper.
good morning, my sweet! i never get angry, but i do get hot ;) i'm the perfect place to place a pan or a pot...
now you stand in front of the stove, where the flowers sit nicely in a glass vase. you're sure the bathroom holds the next clue. and as you pad through the penthouse, you pretend to ignore the crash of something in one of gojo's many rooms. you shake your head and stifle a giggle at a stray, muffled cry of pain.
swinging open the ensuite door, you see nothing out of the ordinary. furrowing your brows, you step inside and look around. you rifle through your skincare around your sink and gojo's hair products on his side before coming up empty-handed.
"other reflection!" satoru's voice carries from another room, making you jolt so hard you nearly drop his cologne. you hug the bottle to your chest and exhale, carefully placing it beside his sink.
you turn the light off and go to the powder room off the living room. and low and behold, a box lies on the granite vanity. it's so large that it covers most of the mirror, and you scrunch your nose at the sight of it. you told him not to go overboard.
lowering the surprisingly light box to the ground, you flick it open. you gasp before you fully process what you're seeing. being satoru's significant other, you've had your fair share of stupid, expensive gifts, but nothing could prepare you for the hermes box lying inside.
"satoru!" you exclaim, cradling the orange box. "shut up!"
an echo of a giggle sounds from down the hall, and you're sure you know where he's hiding. but you refrain from going straight for him — he seems to have spent so much time organising this for you.
with shaky hands, you lift off the top of the box. the gift wrapping is so intricate you don't want to risk ripping the paper, which is probably worth more than your car. so, delicately, you peel the sticker from the white tissue paper and flip the sides open.
a beige dust bag sits nestled inside and you pull the strings to open it. dipping your hand inside, you grab the handles of the handbag and pull out a black birkin. you could cry at how pretty it is.
“satoru i’m going to murder you,” you mumble.
quickly putting the bag back and closing the box, your eye catches on a small blue note. flicking it over, you giggle at the scribble.
roses are red, violets are blue, i hate poetry, but i’m into you! (p.s. i'm over rhyming: your next clue is in the gym. go!!)
standing, you leave the powder room and head downstairs to satoru’s indoor gym. when you get there, you see a flash of white hair dash around the corner to the sauna.
“satoru,” you laugh, hurrying after him.
“no!” he yells, his long legs carrying him faster. soon enough, he’s disappeared back upstairs, leaving you to search the space for your next clue.
a red bag grabs your attention from the shelf in the sauna. you shake your head when you see the gold cursive on the front.
plucking the bag from the shelf, you pull out a jewellery box. cartier.
you feel yourself becoming emotional at the gifts, wanting nothing more than to kiss satoru silly for spending this much money on you.
you click open the case to reveal a gold love bracelet, and your eyes widen in shock. a note drifts to the floor, and you can see the single word from where you're standing.
kitchen!!!!! (this is the last one hurry!!!)
after putting the bag in a safer place than the narrow shelf in the sauna, you stalk upstairs, hoping to find the last thing satoru left you.
despite the first gift being in the same spot, you struggle to find the final clue until you open the fridge. inside sits a single lilac dessert box — one from your favourite dessert store. the sight of it makes the butterflies in your stomach flutter. it was the first place you went together, one that has your names and orders memorised from countless anniversaries, birthdays, and when one needs a sweet treat (aka most days).
you already know what's inside before you open it and take it to find satoru.
“toru?” you call, walking into your bedroom.
said man lays on your bed, in an open white dress shirt and black slacks, his blindfold hung loosely around his neck.
“happy birthday, baby.”
you shake your head and rush toward him, placing the dessert box on the small table beside the door. he sits up to meet your lips halfway. satoru giggles against your lips when you pull him closer by his blindfold, his hands circling your waist.
“you are so annoying,” you mumble, threading your fingers through his hair. “thank you.”
satoru hums, pulling back a fraction. “you deserve so much more.”
“toru,” you whisper, pressing kisses on his cheek. “i don’t need all that.”
“but you do.”
shaking your head, you smile at him. his blue eyes brighten with tears and you’re quick to coo at him. “noooo.”
satoru laughs hoarsely. “i just wanna show you how much i love you.”
“you show me everyday by being you,” you kiss him and he grasps the fabric of your hoodie. you feel a lump forming in your throat at the force of his kiss.
“don’t cry,” satoru says, wiping a tear from your cheek. “i know how difficult your birthday can be so i wanted to make it as fun as possible. even though it’s only 10am.”
you smile at him and push his hair off of his forehead, holding his cheek in your other palm. “i adore you so much it hurts.”
satoru presses his forehead against yours before pressing his mouth against your lips. “we’ve got a whole day ahead of us.”
"but first," you declare, getting off the bed to retrieve the box. "we eat."
satoru shakes his head. "that's all yours, i already had my fair share when i bought it."
you tilt your head. "bite the stupid mochi, toru." you shove the small oval in his face.
"no! you first."
you bite the mochi quickly, savouring the rich flavours of matcha and chocolate before pressing it against his lips.
satoru smirks and takes a small piece between his teeth, leaving the rest for you. "it's your special day."
you twist your lips and shrug, lifting it toward your mouth.
"but i want one more bite," satoru blurts, grabbing your wrist and lowering it to his mouth. he bites the remaining half in half and smiles smugly.
you finish off the mochi and pull him into a hug. satoru flops onto his back, bringing you with him. he swears there's no sound more beautiful than your laugh.
and despite the materialistic presents satoru gifted you, there's nothing more you cherish than every moment with him, and him, you.

Leaning forwards on the vanity desk, you turned your head to the left, holding the jewellery up to your ear. You were a pirate, and a well-known practice of pirates was they had pierced ears. You were no different. Though this earring was.
You had taken out your usual small golden hoops and, as you turned your head to the right to place the second earring, now had jewels far more suitable to the occasion.
A recent victory had been cause for celebration and you coming into more than your fair share of treasure, and your captain was always fair with treasure. With your sudden increase in wealth, though it just added to your already insurmountable mountain of beri, you decided to treat yourself to not only a new outfit, but some gorgeous new jewellery; real ruby and silver. A pretty penny, but the look on his face would be worth it.
Your new attire had been picked to compliment, made by hand by some of the finest tailors in the world. Posing in the floor-length mirror, you smirked to yourself as you put on the crown jewel of your creation, a necklace with little teardrop rubies and a larger ruby centre piece. You bit your lip in excitement. He may just pass onto the next world simply by seeing you.
Slipping on your shoes, with one final check in the mirror, you left the captains quarters, the sounds of joyous singing and partying growing louder in your ears as you reached the deck.
The ship and the beach beside it had been transformed. The whole crew was out, drinking and eating, singing and dancing, bantering and storytelling, and drinking even more. Of course, your crew always threw the best parties, for how fond your captain was of them.
At that thought, you scanned the deck for a head of auburn red hair. Luckily he wasn’t hard to find with a head of hair like that. As you made your way over to the captains table, it was Lucky Roux who called your name through the mouthful he just took from a giant drumstick.
Shanks’ face brightened even more, looking up to see you. As soon as his eyes were on you they traced your whole figure, but they stopped at the jewellery. His mouth fell open a little, and you could swear you almost saw him blush.
“Like the new look, captain~?” You closed his mouth with a finger, tilting his head up.
His mouth closed and his adam’s apple bobbed. His eyes drank you in once more before a grin split on his face.
“Inspired by someone, sweetheart?” He teased.
Before you could speak another word, you had been swept off your feet, easily carried in one arm, and carried back over the deck right back to the captain’s quarters.
“Shanks! I just finished getting ready.”
“Ha, don’t worry, I won’t mind watching you put it all on again!”
// Hope you enjoyed!

Somewhere, Across the Sea
Prologue:
A Party and a Privateer

(title from Across the Sea by Cody Simpson)
Elain woke to the canvas she'd been using as a blanket being pulled away. Blearily, she snatched at it. Then she froze. She'd clearly been discovered, and it seemed the best thing for it now was to attempt to regain her composure and think of some sort of explanation.
She lifted her mussed head from the deck, just in time to see a beautiful pair of leather boots come to a halt right before her nose.
"Well, well, well," a lilting, male voice said. "What have we here? A stowaway?"
~3 days prior~
Elain:
Elain Archeron was a proper lady, thank you very much. And not a proper lady as in the merchant’s wife, who dressed in garish clothing and liked to jingle her jewellery, but a proper lady as in a literal lady; daughter of the captain of the island’s fleet.
And she was certainly a proper lady, as in, beautiful and poised, unlikely to lose her head or her heart in the unsteady business of falling in love— and certainly not with a sailor, only to have him sail off and drown.
No, Elain was a dutiful, diligent, and dignified young woman, of high status and higher standards; calm, cool, and collected.
Or so she thought.
“Marianne,” Elain huffed, “is there any possible way you could starch the white muslin before we go? I can’t wear the pink again, it’s far too flirtatious.”
“I’ll do my best, my lady,” Marianne flounced a curtsy and bounced out of the room, Elain’s white muslin dress in her arms.
Elain heaved a sigh of relief and slumped back against her vanity chair. She didn’t really need the white muslin; it was too innocent and prim for its intended purpose. But she could do with a little peace and quiet.
All morning, she had been surrounded by maids and friends, fussing and preening over her in anticipation of tonight’s festivities.
It was to be a party, thrown by Elain’s father, Lord Archeron, in honour of the start of the summer season.
It was also meant to be the setting for Elain’s engagement.
The Lady Elain Archeron and Lord Graysen Nolan had been courting for a year now, and it was high time they made their engagement official. They were such a lovely and intelligent couple, and such a smart match. Elain, destined to be a wealthy heiress, was in need of a husband, and the Lord Graysen, about to take over his father’s shipping company, was in need of a wife. He had quickly decided that the lovely, warm Elain Archeron was the best candidate for such a position.
“And I’m sure her fortune doesn’t hurt, either!” Elain had heard the maids whisper.
She hadn’t concerned herself with that, however. Graysen was handsome, polite, and of good standing. Elain had been quite taken with him at the start, and she wasn’t about to let some whispered criticisms disrupt her carefully laid plans. She would gain a good position as a businessman’s wife, and he would gain her. It seemed quite a fair trade, by Elain’s reckoning.
But Elain was doing her best to savour her final day of freedom. Not that marrying Graysen would be stifling, of course, but– she felt a need for fresh air.
Elain opened her balcony doors and stepped into the cool sea breeze. The heat of the day hadn’t yet hit, and the air grazed her flushed cheeks as she gazed down at the tiny sailors, crawling about on the ships at port. Elain longed to see the sea. Perhaps one day, when Graysen’s business took him off to neighbouring countries, she could join him, dazzling foreign dignitaries and visiting the fabled Crysthall Gardens. The fact that Graysen’s mother never travelled didn’t bother her. After all, her frail nature was known throughout the island, and–
“My lady!”
Elain’s thoughts were rudely interrupted as Marianne burst through her door, cheeks flushed from running. Damn. Elain was hoping the starching would take her a bit longer than this.
“My lady!” Marianne repeated, tearing through Elain’s room to her balcony, the clearly forgotten muslin flying from her arms. “You’ll never guess who appeared in port!”
“Do calm down, Marianne,” Elain said in frustration. “You’ll wrinkle that muslin further.”
“Sorry, my lady. But look, down in berth 15.”
Elain leaned forward over the railing, and scanned down the harbour past her father’s ships to berth 15. She sighed as she made out the familiar flag of an empty eyed fox mask.
“Hm.” Elain tried to sound unaffected. “So, that Pirate is back.”
Marianne gave a half sigh, half squeal, before straightening, eyes bright. “Do you think he’ll be at your engagement party tonight, milady?”
“Oh, Mother, I hope not. If I know anything about that man, he’ll find a way to ruin everything.”
In truth, Elain did not know much about the man at all. She’d seen the maids crowding about the windows when he passed and had once or twice peered through her own curtains, hoping to catch a glimpse of the flaming red hair of the reputed flirt. She’d heard other captains mention him, some with jealousy, some with respect, and a few with open disgust. And she’d certainly heard his name mixed up in quite a few scandals, though it was difficult to get anything resembling sense out of Marianne when it came to such things.
It was always difficult to get a solid sense of knowledge when it came to a captain’s reputation.
Yet Elain certainly got the sense (in the one or two times a year his ship stopped at the Island) that he was every bit the swashbuckling, cunning, and rakish rogue she’d heard of. Exactly the kind of person she loathed.
They were quite alright for romance books, or princess stories, but Elain knew not to get mixed up with that sort of person. Privateers in particular were, as her father put it, “licensed pirates.” They had a bit of allure, perhaps, or a breath of the sea about them, but they were a shortcut to trouble. No, much better were high-ranking merchants, or even foreign princes. Sweet and sincere, with little drama and plenty of romance. Someone like Graysen.
“Come away from there, Marianne.” Elain knew she sounded curt. A girl had a right to be a bit curt on the day of her engagement. “If we don’t get my hair finished now, it will never be done.”
Marianne cast a regretful glance down to the ships, and went to fetch the diamond pins.

This is so random but seeing Eddie's room again it reminded me, like what does Chrissy's room look like? I need to know!😭 god I wish someone at a con would finally ask Grace
Omg so I'm envisioning pale pink walls, a white floral bedspread, a little antique-style vanity where she keeps photos of her friends and all her makeup and perfumes. And she's got a shelf above her bed with old ballet trophies and stuffed animals.
There's likely a fair bit of jesus paraphernalia in there - a crucifix above her bed (Eddie flips it upside down whenever he comes over and gleefully waits for her to notice. Sometimes she doesn't). A little Mary statue and a bottle of holy water on her bedside table.
She'd have a wall full of rosettes and certificates from her various wins (school stuff, cheer comps, dance comps). A few posters on the walls of silent film stars or of Broadway shows. She likes to keep fresh flowers in a vase on her dresser. Porcelain trinket dishes filled with bits of jewellery are on every surface. Old lemonade bottles are used to hold dinner candles.
She definitely has the Lane Kim secret wardrobe compartment too, where she keeps all her contraband!!! Her weed stash, clothes and makeup her mom wouldn't approve of, a bottle or two of peach snapps for pregaming, that sort of thing.
What do you think??

books were scattered across the floor, a once tidied up bedroom in complete shambles. bed coverings crumpled at its edge, pillows decorated with claw marks and scattered stuffing. the wood of his dresser and vanity were scratched to hell and back, in desperate need of replacements. The jewellery with which it once held littered across its surface.
and in the corner? a rather pathetic sight. hand covering his mouth, his unoccupied arm hugging across his own midsection. a grown man, who’d lived for more than his fair share of years, curled up into a ball and trembling as if he were a child.
his body ached— though whether it was good or bad, he didn’t have the mind to tell.
his eyes darted all across his living space, vision blackened at the sides. he couldn’t help but flinch— the feeling of hands touching at his shoulders, his face, everywhere making his eyes water beyond their capabilities. vampires weren’t made to cry, yet here he was; disgusting, if he had to say so.
it’d been a little while since he’d truly crumbled to the floor like this, and he couldn’t even pinpoint an exact reason for such a spiral. not that he felt as if it was needed. she was there, all the time. in the back of his mind, in the ghastly touches he felt at his back. it’s always only a matter of time before his house of cards comes tumbling down.
the palm covering his mouth tightened his grip, almost as if he was trying to suffocate himself with his own hand. clawed nails digging into his cheeks enough to pull pinpricks of blood from his skin. he hated this feeling; it was confusing, it was overwhelming; it was too much.
the brief touches of hands that aren’t there, and haven’t been there for some time. the quiet whisperings of that voice in his ear that always made his knees buckle, and his heart fold no matter how much his brain told him to protest.
phantom pains. even when she’s not around, he can’t just can’t get away.

DANI MICHELLE BIO!
Dani Michelle, celebrity stylist, brings a edgy dynamic as well as a authentic approach to the fashion industry. Her fashion career first kicked off in New York City, and she relocated to Los Angeles in 2008. Dani is repeatedly searching for new ways to incorporate her fresh and forward point of view with classic timelessness and sophistication, therefore, with this, it wasn’t long before Dani’s love of fashion turned into a successful career as a highly sought after celebrity stylist.
Dani’s impressive clientele includes Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Elsa Hosk, Bruna Marquezine and Kristin Cavallari to name a few. Her work graces the pages of various publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, L'officiel, V Magazine, GQ, among many others. She was recently named style curator of the year by the Daily Front Row and Social Media Stylist of the Year on The Hollywood Reporter.
An Interview With Dani Michelle.
‘Have you always known you’ve wanted to be a stylist?
I learned about styling when I was 17 working at Seventeen magazine. Back then, the job of a stylist wasn’t as well known; I didn’t even know it existed. Once I did, I had my eyes set on that.
How did you get into styling?
I started working in the accessories department at a fashion magazine in New York. I then moved to L.A. and found myself in Barney’s assisting a stylist just five days later.
What was your first job out of college? And what followed that job?
My first job out of college was assistant to the stylist of the Jonas Brothers. We worked on their tours, appearances and photo shoots. From there, my career bloomed.
You’ve worked with A-List celebs, such as Carrie Underwood, Kate Upton, and Justin Bieber, and with models for the biggest fashion magazines out there, such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and GQ, major campaigns for brands, such as Adidas, Converse, and Coke – what is it like working with these clients?
Working with major talents and companies comes with a lot of pressure. You want to be the best you can for your client, providing everything possible to make their vision come to life. For me, bigger the client, the higher the expectations. I give 100 percent into anything I do, big or small; our work is never easy.
How’d you start working with Kendall Jenner?
Through the years, I have had the privilege of creating and working with many of the [Kardashian] sisters. Kendall and I met on-set, actually a few different sets, and every time we were together, we would have these little creative moments that felt synergetic and collaborative. Timing in life is everything, and while we met in 2018, we didn’t officially start working together until 2020.
What are trends that you (and your clients) have helped drive?
I’ve heard from designers that their websites have crashed after a client wore their jacket, or from luxury labels that sold out worldwide after an earring was worn. I’ve seen tops they’ve worn from small brands get mass-produced. I’ve seen runways styled in ways that reflect the way we styled it.
Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere. All social media, my friends, magazines.
For someone wanting to break into this industry, what advice would you give them?
Make sure this is something you really want to do. Succeeding in this business means years of unpacking, checking things in, emails, appointments, slugging loads and loads of garment bags, and late nights organizing. The magic on set or the red carpet is only a few minutes long.’

Jewellery Brand- Méga.
Dani is the well know stylist of both Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, she is also know as being the stylist with a fistful of rings as well as having gold filled lobes. She created Méga after wanting to find jewellery pieces that could be seamlessly styled together. “My style has always been wearing stacks and stacks of rings and people would always stop me and ask ‘where are your rings from?’” says Michelle. “It was such a culmination of many different pieces, and it wasn’t just one brand that I felt like had everything.”
Michelle designed her affordable collection to have vintage undertones and work harmoniously together. “There was a gap in the market for an accessible brand that has this elevated cool, chic look, and I wanted to create one that the whole brand felt that and not just a segment of that,” says Michelle. The name came from a Vogue article from 2022 in which the writer described Michelle as a “megawatt stylist.”
Michelle brought a stylists’ sensibility to her company, while many other jewellery labels focus on highlighting single pieces. Michelle carries a secret superpower in her work, whatever her clients wear sell out, credits will be rabidly sought after, or that the trends are replicated. Perhaps that is because Michelle understands the art of worldbuilding, and how everyday people seek to buy into that elevated world. “The excitement isn’t in the actual garment but it is in her whole entire message and each of these pieces are part of her story versus making her story,” says Michelle. Méga follows that same styling ethos: Everyone can purchase a pre-styled, cool girl jewelry stack courtesy of Michelle’s eye. “I really wanted to parlay my styling experience into it. I love what styling is; it’s finding balance in design and I think that making a ring stack is the same thing,” says Michelle. Just as she does with clothes, the stylist is looking to style jewelry on a hand, ear, or neckline.

'Claire Foy looked incredible as she attended the UK Gala Screening of All Of Us Strangers at BFI Southbank in London on Tuesday.
The Crown star, 39, wowed in a plunging white gown with two daring thigh-high splits, as she joined co-stars Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott on the red carpet.
Claire boosted her height in a pair of strappy silver heels, while accessorising with matching jewellery...
Meanwhile, Normal People star Paul, 27, cut a dapper figure in a dark grey suit and a knitted polo top.
Andrew, 47, stood out in a pale pink blazer, teamed with a white vest and navy trousers.
In a new interview with Screen Daily, the Irish actor discussed the relationship between casting and sexuality, revealing he 'never thought' he would get the opportunity to play leading roles.
He said: 'I remember growing up and reading Empire magazine and thinking I would never get a chance to play leading roles in the cinema. And I am thrilled that has changed.
'As much as I feel like representation is important, so is transformation. I don’t love the idea of being cast for something purely for my own sexuality — you’re not just playing "gay", you’re playing the attributes of the character.
'I don’t want a totalitarian regime - we have to look at each individual story we’re telling and what’s right for that.'
All Of Us Strangers - based the film on the 1987 Japanese psychological novel Strangers by Taichi Yamada - is directed by Andrew Haigh and will be released in the UK on January 26.
The film stars Andrew as screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home who enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbor (Paul).
Claire plays Adam's mother while Billy Elliot star Jamie Bell portrays his father, as his late parents appear to him in his childhood home at the age they were when they died.
The LGBTQ+ romantic fantasy dominated the competition at the British Independent Film Awards last month, earning a staggering seven gongs in total.
Among the awards was the top prize for Best Film, beating Femme, How To Have Sex, Rye Lane and Scrapper.
All Of Us Strangers also scored Best Director and Best Screenplay for English filmmaker Andrew Haigh, who is known for his work on films Weekend and 45 Years.
Paul shared the Best Supporting Performance gong for his role in the film with Shaun Thomas from How To Have Sex.
Claire was also nominated in the Best Supporting Performance category but lost out to her co-star Paul.
She will be hoping to take home the BAFTA for Supporting Actress on February 18 but faces stiff competition in her category.
She will compete against Emily Blunt, Oppenheimer; Danielle Brooks, The Color Purple; Sandra Hüller, The Zone Of Interest; Rosamund Pike, Saltburn and Da'vine Joy Randolph, The Holdovers
Acclaimed film director Andrew Haigh previously said that Paul and Andrew were 'fearless' when filming their sex scenes in the new movie.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, he said: 'There was chemistry between the two of them literally the second I saw them together.
'Both of them were pretty fearless. There was no sense of them being afraid of approaching those scenes. They knew how important they were.'...'

Selling your fine diamonds and jewellery can seem like a daunting task, but there are many benefits to this process. From making more space in your Wardrobe to getting fast cash, selling your jewellery can provide you with a range of opportunities. 1.Make More Space in Your Wardrobe

Fine jewellery can take up a lot of space in your Wardrobe, especially if you have a large collection. Special cases and careful storage are needed to keep your jewellery in good condition, but this can quickly consume valuable space in your closet or vanity. If you don't wear your jewellery, why let it take up space in your wardrobe? Sell it to a trusted jewellery buyer and enjoy the extra space in your wardrobe.
2.Upgrade Your Jewellery Collection
If you have valuable jewellery that doesn't suit your personal style, selling it can be a way to upgrade your collection. You can use the funds from the sale to purchase new jewellery that better suits your preferences. Even if you don't need the cash, selling old jewellery can provide you with the opportunity to upgrade your collection.

Here are some tips to help you upgrade your jewellery collection.
Invest in high-quality pieces: Investing in high-quality jewellery pieces that are made from durable materials such as gold, silver, and diamonds can make a big difference in the overall appearance of your collection. These pieces are not only stylish but also long-lasting and will last for years to come.
Go for timeless styles: Timeless styles never go out of fashion. Pieces such as stud earrings, simple necklaces, and delicate bracelets can be paired with any outfit and never go out of style. When upgrading your jewellery collection, consider investing in timeless pieces that you can wear for years to come.
Experiment with different materials: Adding different materials to your jewellery collection can add an extra dimension of style and elegance. Experiment with different materials such as pearls, semi-precious stones, and wood to add some diversity to your collection.
Consider custom pieces: Custom jewellery can be designed to fit your personal style and preferences. Whether you opt for a custom necklace or a custom-made pair of earrings, having a piece of jewellery that is uniquely yours is a great way to upgrade your collection.
Accessorise with layering: Layering jewellery can be a great way to add some extra style to your look. Try layering necklaces, bracelets, and rings to create a unique and fashionable look.
3.Get the Fast Cash You Need

When you need a quick influx of cash, your first instinct might be to sell your jewellery. However, pawnshops and similar buyers are not your best option. To get the most value for your jewellery, it's best to sell it to a buyer who specialises in fine jewellery and diamonds. This way, you'll get a fair price for your jewellery and the fast cash you need.Selling a diamond for fast cash can provide several benefits, including:
Quick access to funds: When you need money quickly, selling a diamond is a fast way to get cash in hand. This can be useful in emergency situations or if you need to make a big purchase.
Liquidity: Diamonds are a highly liquid asset, meaning they can be easily sold and converted into cash. This makes them a good option if you need to raise funds quickly.
No loan repayments: When you sell a diamond, you receive the full value of the diamond without having to make any loan repayments. This is in contrast to taking out a loan, where you may need to make regular repayments over time.
No credit checks: Selling a diamond does not require a credit check, making it a good option for people with bad credit.
No negative impact on credit score: Selling a diamond does not affect your credit score, unlike taking out a loan, which could negatively impact your credit score if you default on the loan.
Minimal paperwork: The process of selling a diamond is usually straightforward and requires minimal paperwork. This can make the process of getting fast cash easier and quicker.
It is important to keep in mind that the value of your diamond will depend on factors such as the size, quality, and market demand. It is also important to work with a reputable and trusted buyer to ensure that you receive a fair price for your diamond.
4.Increased Safety
Keeping a large collection of fine jewellery in your home can increase the risk of burglary. If thieves suspect you have valuable jewellery in your home, your house could be targeted for robbery. This could put you and your family in danger if you're at home during the break-in. To reduce the risk of theft, it's better to sell your valuables to a trusted jewellery buyer. You can get paid and deposit the money in a bank, where it's safe from theft.
5.Let Go of Negative Memories
For many people, selling jewellery is a way to move on from negative memories. Maybe you inherited a fine jewellery collection from a loved one with whom you had a strained relationship. Or perhaps you're looking to sell your engagement and wedding bands after a divorce. Selling your jewellery can help you make a fresh start, and the extra money from the sale can help cover related expenses.
6.Build Your Inheritance
Inherited jewellery can be sold to honour the memory of your loved one. If the money from the sale will bring you more joy than keeping the jewellery will, selling it may be the best way to honour their memory. Jewellery was once considered an investment, and selling it honours that tradition. The purpose of inheritance is to help future generations, so why not turn that jewellery into money that will help you achieve your goals in life?
7.Give Broken Pieces New Life
Many people with extensive jewellery collections have pieces that are broken but never get fixed. If you're unlikely to ever get around to repairing a broken piece of jewellery, why not sell it? The new owner can have it fixed and wear it, while you'll enjoy the cash from the sale.
In conclusion, selling your fine diamonds and jewellery can provide you with many benefits, from making more space in your wardrobe to getting fast cash. To reap these benefits, it's important to find a trusted jewellery buyer who will give you a fair price for your jewellery. A good buyer will have the experience to appraise your jewellery accurately and will provide you with a smooth and easy selling experience.
