figured i’d make a small timeline post bc cassie’s bio is v long. note: this is cassie’s COMIC timeline, tweaked to fit my divergences

cassie is born

when cassie is still young, scott goes to prison. while he’s in prison, she lives with scott’s sister

scott is released from prison, and he reunites with cassie. very shortly after, cassie ends up in the hospital, and it is discovered that she has a serious heart condition. this leads to scott stealing the ant-man suit in order to save the only doctor who can save cassie’s life.

hank lets scott keep the suit, and he becomes ant-man. tony gets him a job. cassie recovers, and she and scott live in the baxter building for a while. sometime after, he joins the avengers and they both move into the avengers mansion.

eventually, cassie’s mother (peggy rae) comes back into the picture and sues for custody, leaving scott and cassie with only one weekend a month together.

cassie is kidnapped several times throughout the years, which is a big factor in her mother getting custody.

one day, cassie gets kidnapped. scott goes to rescue her with jack of hearts’s help. cassie witnesses scott nearly killing the kidnapper. that same night, scott is killed when jack of hearts is brought back to life by scarlet witch, who uses him as a bomb that kills both scott and clint.

fast forward. cassie’s fourteen. she gets into an argument with her mom, and decides to run away to join the runaways. on her way out of the house (literally) she catches a glimpse of the young avengers on the news. she decides to find and join them instead.

cassie finds the young avengers at the avengers mansion when she breaks in (along with kate) to steal her dad’s suit. she gets angry that they won’t let her in the mansion, and she discovers that she has powers.

KANG SHOWS UP. SHIT GOES DOWN. YIKES.

various things go on throughout the different series, including cassie and jonas starting to date, etc.

we’re ignoring most of civil war bc i don’t agree with cassie switching sides. she would never turn her back on her team like that.

cassie eventually joins the mighty avengers with jonas. they fight various enemies including ultron.

turns out the scarlet witch that recruited them is loki, which cassie discovers. loki then enchants cassie so that she’s unable to tell anyone.

after this comes children’s crusade. oooooh boy.

cassie joins her team in the search for wanda. while fighting against doom, iron lad shows up, and they end up traveling back in time, which results in cassie saving scott from being killed. wanda brings them all back to the future, and everything is good.

and then cassie thinks that doom killed her dad again, so she punches him, resulting in him blasting her with a lot of energy. this results in cassie’s death.

fast forward a few years: in my canon, it is billy who brings cassie back, not doom.

cassie, recently resurrected, resumes life. things are fairly “normal”, especially as cassie was brought back without any powers.

she and her dad are closer than ever. after scott gets into a big fight with cassie right outside, her mom moves her to miami.

cassie is kidnapped, and her heart is literally stolen in order to stabilize darren cross’s condition. cassie barely survives. she’s told she had a heart attack. 

cassie finds out the truth when she goes to the powerbroker, who offers to give her powers if he does a job for her. she agrees, keen on getting revenge against darren cross.

cassie gets caught, and scott comes in with a bunch of others to save the day. except they’re caught by authorities, and he takes the fall to protect her.

after scott is eventually released from prison, he and cassie become partners, and they fight together.

we’re ignoring s*cret *mpire. it doesn’t exist.
