anyway. i was excited for recs bc i also enjoy this genre of fictional character. unfortunately as above the niche is niched, it turns out. at least for me, content enjoyer georg, who has apparently already seen or read everything anyone else has already seen or read except for a small handful of specific media properties that i do not wish to see or read for various personal reasons and also not literally everything ever... just the same things as everyone else has already seen and read... u get the idea. ok thnks 👍🏻

first dandadan episode impression: very neat!

#vi rambling #i love a good hiroshi seko script supervision+ science saru animation+ kensuke ushio soundtrack.#the op is really sick and the zutomayo ed song p much made me watch it (the clip was underwhelming tho)#narratively it uh. more than a little put me off at That Bit but the directing is really good and i think #the pacing really works which surprised me because i dont enjoy fast paced media that much. but it clicks well in this case #thats btw the reason why i couldnt get into jjk. way too fucking fast lmao #but here it works well. also momo's great i love her #in general i appreciate the characterization in this ep. theyre both really well established in a v short time.#great dynamic all around #dandadan

watched the kdrama celebrity over the last few days. was hooked from the first few seconds bc the EDITING in the show, & just the cinematography in general is on a whole nother fuckin level, man.

also, just. a really great show in general. v good at building suspense & throwing loops & very nice themes/takeaways. also just a rly interesting way to convey those themes/takeaways.

i think the only issue we had w it was the romance, but. eh. it wasn't so bad that it took away from the ample amount of good shit in the show.

def recommend it!! especially to anyone who really enjoyed the glory bc it has v similar themes.
