New Government Schemes and Programs Announced in Union Budget 2024-25

Union Budget 2024-25 outlined a comprehensive vision for India's transformation into a 'Viksit Bharat' or Developed India by 2047. The budget prioritized nine key areas: agriculture, employment, skilling, human development, manufacturing, services, urban development, energy security, infrastructure, innovation, and next-generation reforms.
The budget was underpinned by a strong focus on inclusive growth, with significant allocations for sectors like agriculture, education, healthcare, and social welfare. It emphasized job creation, skill development, and infrastructure development as crucial drivers of economic growth. Additionally, the budget prioritized energy security through investments in renewable energy sources and nuclear power.
To achieve the ambitious goal of a developed India, the government introduced several flagship schemes, including the Purvodaya plan for the eastern region, the PM Surya Ghar initiative for rooftop solar, the Atmanirbhar Oil Seeds Abhiyan, employment-linked incentive schemes, a new skilling program, the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan, a credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs, and NPS Vatsalya.
These initiatives are designed to address specific challenges and create opportunities across various sectors of the economy.
Overall, Budget 2024-25 presented a roadmap for India's progress towards becoming a developed nation, with a strong emphasis on inclusive growth, job creation, and infrastructure development.

Shri Venkateshwara University has launched the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme that aims to provide quality medical, educational, and healthcare services in the villages of UP west.

The Venkateshwara Group, through Shri Venkateshwara University & VIMS Multispeciality Hospital, has introduced the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme.
It aims to provide high-quality medical, educational, and healthcare services in the villages of West Uttar Pradesh.  .
Under the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme, 200 experienced doctors from VIMS will form 20 teams to offer free medical and health services to over 700 villages in the Meerut and Moradabad divisions. 
As part of the Chalo Gaon Ki Aur scheme, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute will honor and provide scholarships to deserving underprivileged students from the UP Board/CBSE who enroll in its courses. 
Along with this, the Venkateshwara Group will adopt 2 dozen villages and work to improve education & health services in these villages under the Unnat Bharat & Developed India campaign.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajeev Tyagi, CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava & the VC Dr AK Shukla inaugurated the scheme by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
On this occasion, the Venkateshwara Group also launched a poster of the scheme.
The Founder President, Dr. Sudhir Giri, alongside the Pro Chancellor, Dr. Rajeev Tyagi and other staff members, launched four ambulances.
These ambulances are equipped with advanced life support systems and aim to provide free treatment in the villages of UP west.
The Venkateshwara Group Founder President Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated because of the Ayushman Bharat & Jan Aushadi Scheme underprivileged people can now avail costly treatments free of the cost.
Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, the Pro-chancellor, emphasized that medical care, education, and good health are not just essential needs but the fundamental rights of every citizen.
Thousands of people in Western UP are benefiting from the quality and free medical and health services provided by the Venkateshwara Group. 
Those present included the Hospital CEO Dr HP Singh, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Hospital Marketing Director MA Chaudhary, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dr Divya Girdhar, & the Marketing Director Tarun Kambhoj.
Dr Yogeshwar Prasad Sharma, Dr Ashutosh Singh, Dr Om Prakash Gosai, Dr Rahul Kumar, Ashwini Kumar Saxena, Dr Ram Niwas Sharma, Dr Tejpal Singh, Dr Dinesh Kr. Gautam were all present.
Also present were Dr Anil Kr Jaiswal, Dr Vishwanath Jha, Arun Kr Goswami and Maroof Chaudhary.
The Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh was present & also present was the Media Incharge Mr. Vishwas Rana among others.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan organized “UNNATI" (Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Networking for National Atmanirbhar Technological Intervention) Mahotsav & Expo* in collaboration with Vijnana Bharti and YOJAK on 17th-18th March 2023 in IIT Delhi*. *The program is organized in the spirit of *Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India.                 "UNNATI" Mahotsav & Expo is an initiative to showcase the knowledge-based solutions resulting from continuous interactions among knowledge institutions through their students and faculty members and primary stakeholders through Gram Sabhas of respective villages, for the purpose of identifying ground-level challenges and designing their appropriate & sustainable solutions across the country selected by our Regional Coordinating Institutes among Participating Institution's interventions in villages. As the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan movement swept the nation, India uncovered its path to a cleaner, more sustainable future. In line with India's declaration in the Paris Accord, the next stride in this direction aims to overstep waste & pollution management, transforming these menaces into productive avenues of energy and growth. The Swachh Bharat Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, set up under the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology & Innovation Advisory Council, is an initiative by the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India (the O/o PSA) that will leverage global technological capabilities to create socio-economic benefits for 1.3 billion Indians by addressing the issues of waste disposal, deteriorating air quality and increasing pollution of water bodies. The mission is spearheaded by the office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA), Government of India. To help achieve India’s commitments to United Nations - Sustainable Development Goals, the Office of the PSA has established a 'Project Management Unit' (PMU) in partnership with Invest India, India’s National Investment Promotion & Facilitation Agency. The mission aims to identify, test, Validate and deploy technologies to treat waste to generate energy, recycle materials, and extract resources of value and provide technology database of national and international technologies to support Urban Local Bodies address their waste challenges. The mission will assist and augment the Swachh Bharat and Smart Cities projects by leveraging science, technology, and innovation to create circular economic models that are financially viable and sustainable for waste management to streamline waste handling in the country.

Computer Classes Conducted by UBA Team for Children from Rural Village

Solan   Unnat Bharat Abhiyan JUIT Waknaghat organized a ‘Computer Literacy Program’ for children from rural villages near the Jaypee University of Information Technology on the weekends from 14th January to 5th February. This activity was conducted under the guidance of faculty coordinator Dr. Gopal SinghBisht, Mahila Pradhan Mrs. Leela Thakur and student coordinators Varun Chodha & Stuti Roy. The gram panchayat also helps in spreading awareness of this program. The goal of this activity was to provide a foundational understanding of the internet and computer usage to the students, especially among those who are living in remote areas.The program was attended by overall 33 children, with an average age of 15 years. Children were basically from Richhana, Wakna, Dumehar and Chawsha villages. The UBA team prepared easy to understand lectures and delivered them wholeheartedly. The children learned with full enthusiasm & interacted in the class. A quiz was also taken to test the children and at the end & recently certificates were also provided to them. This event went in a very organized manner & the syllabus was also designed in such a way that children understood the concepts & get benefit in future. A special orientation workshop for the Participating Institutions under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan was organised by IIT Delhi at its Research & Innovation Park on the campus on February 21, 2023. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a central sector scheme of the Ministry of Education, and IIT Delhi is coordinating it on the national level. Dr. Mamta Bhardwaj, faculty member of Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida, attended the UBA workshop. The theme of the workshop was “Basic skills for village development”.
