There was something so appealing about the first (two) season(s?) of Attack on Titan, just the concept of humanity being brought to the brink of extinction by gigantic grotesque human-looking but inhuman creatures straight from the depths of uncanny valley where your only chance at fighting back is two flimsy blades and some wire. I rewatch power of unity and like the transition from kotaro being accepted into the group to everyone practicing. Kotaro went from smiling all happy vbs accepted his pleads to his model in left corner looking like he wants to gone.

Given how much I like Cass in current Birds of Prey, and Thompson wrote Laura okay in her guest apprences in the books Thompson wrote, I feel if/when Thompson ever returned to Marvel, I feel a proper take on Laura would work well, or Laura as a team memeber of a book Thompson could write.

Further proposal: Thompson write the inevitable Laura Kinny + Cass Cain crossover bit when Marvel/DC do Crossovers again.
