Day 8 - into Zealand

77km; 396m of climbing (just in case anyone is keeping track).

Before there could be a New Zealand, there had to be a Zealand, and now we're in it. Across Denmark's biggest bridge (which was a bit anticlimatic to be honest - would barely be an onramp in Japan!), and then into Zealand. Wind was mostly side on or helping a little until the last 20km, just to get the last laugh on us.

We stopped ay another country estate and a nunnery/monastery (translation vary), but all closed up, so nothing to see except for the amazing grounds. We have ended the day in a cute little village called Rodvik. I can't help thinking that Hiccup would have felt at home here - the "beach" reminded me of his swimming competition! We did see one or two brave swimmers in the water.

Dinner tonight was a yummy sandwich... sounds strange, but it was a lovely spot by the marina, a tasty sandwich, and washed down with Grimbeard the ghastly's favourite beer.

Last day of cycling tomorrow - hard to believe it has all gone so quickly. we have a concert lined up in Copenhagen tomorrow night, so we will go straight into normal tourist mode as soon as we get there.
