His boyish grin is present, allowing himself to be more lax now that he hadn’t been in an office setting or around Jackson. Everything always seemed to be so... professional, at all times. “You look beautiful tonight,” Alexander told her, making sure that his eyes never strayed from her. “You always do, though.”

He’s been watching her from afar all night. The way she moved so elegantly without trying. Most of the boys stared, of course. But Alexander hadn’t made it so obvious. Only to her, if she so chose to acknowledge the desire in his eyes and thoughts racing through his mind.  Blue eyes look up occasionally, making sure to catch her eye when he can as the others around him droned on about the castle history.

“Excuse me, gentlemen,” he states, dismissing himself from the absolutely dull and sleep-inducing conversation that they had been having. No one cared much - waving him off with a raise of their glasses that remained partially filled due to the light sips they’d all been taking while talking.  Alexander uses the opportunity to wander off, approaching the fellow blonde without a care. No one would suspect anything, either way. She wasn’t to be his, in the end. “Well, you look ravishing tonight,” he states, leaning over her slightly from behind to whisper the words in her ear.

“Nice cologne. Where’d you get it, CVS?” Artems fingers plucked something off the others shoulders. Mostly a power move, though he knew the other would think of it as a challenge, or maybe he assumed the other would.

“Don’t make me ask you again yeah? I hate repeating myself.” He offered a tight lipped smile, slipping his hands into his slacks. “Stay away. Or the next time it won’t be a simple warning shot.”

Anger seeps into him like water falling through cracks in a glass. The urge to reach out and slice the male’s throat  now turned into a mental image for Alexander. He despised Katia’s brother, finding great annoyance in him and how he so protectively watched over his sister.

Like a weirdo, if you asked him.  

Alexander shrugged off and swatted away the attempted power move, refusing to give him the satisfaction. “Yeah? Or what, exactly?” Alexander took a step closer, confidently buttoning up the jacket to his suit without breaking eye contact. 

“You going to send someone after me?” Words are said mockingly, a scoff leaving his lips. If he could, he would spit at the male’s shoes right now. 

“You can’t touch me and I can’t touch you. So quit this little pathetic game you’re trying.”

He peered over her shoulder, watching and waiting for the proper words to flow from her lips. It was simple enough, I wish and please. That’s all he needed. She had it all prepared....waiting for him to dare to come forth. A hum leaves his lips, though the sound inaudible to the other’s ears.

A smirk graces his features, allowing himself to shift and become visible from the shadows. He leans over to her ear, voice low and like velvet. “Well it took you long enough.”

“Dude, the last few days have been wild.” A chuckle leaves the blonde’s lips - watching as his friend shook his head. “Yeah? Finally get laid?” Beau counters, his own laugh coming forth. A wide grin crosses his facial features, earning a roll of his friend’s eyes as the two chuckled. “She’s a total banger, bro. I’ve never had a girl keep me on my toes like she does. And it’s not that normal crazy either, shit’s just right.” Alexander gives his friend a nudge, amusement flooding his system as he gives another laugh and nudge.

 “Do i get to meet her?” Beau inquires, walking over towards his car down the drive way. Alexander followed after him, not having noticed the brunette by the car just yet. “Prolly not,” Alexander admitted, smirk starting to present itself where the smile had once been. “Shit, if I have my way - she’d never leave my bed. ‘cause God DAMN, dude, that body is just  --- “ He makes a chef kiss with his fingers and lips, exaggerating his fawning over the woman. 

It took him a minute to finally look at the car, too engaged in the conversation to realize there had been anyone else. Eyes go wide as he looked at the woman from behind, giving his friend a nudge of approval. Right up until she stood straight up and revealed herself to them. “Oh shit,” he muttered to himself. Beau’s brows furrowed for a second before shaking it off and looking at Griffon. “Ignore my idiot friend here,” He tells her - earning a glare from Lex who, internally, had been freaking out. “What was the issue?” Beau asks, a hushed Alexander present for once.

She looked ravishing from a crossed the room and Alexander couldn’t keep his eyes from fixating on her. The masquerade had made for an interesting twist of things - as rival houses mingled with their enemies  without knowledge of the other; a genius way of keeping the peace. Her hair dark like the forest floor, her skin creamy like milk and she moved with elegance upon the dance floor. Blue eyes can’t tear their vision from such a beauty. 

Alexander moves passed those around him, ignoring the knowing glances. He was easy to spot, as a royal. His hair was too well kept, his clothes pristine and perfect and the woman before him? equally as identifiable as at least some form of royalty. Whether enemy or not, he hadn’t a clue. All he knew was that he was lured in and the bait had been happily taken. 

“Mind if I cut in?” He inquired, eyes peering down at her from a thin black mask.

The sun slowly was going down and Alexander had been at camp for a while now. The rest of the crew hadn’t quite showed up just yet but slowly everyone was pouring in as the night went on. He’d manned the fire, set up some sort of sleeping arrangement with their ten person tent and now sat back by the fire as the last of the guests for their getaway trip finally showed up. 

That’s when he first saw her. She looked familiar but Alexander couldn’t quite put his finger on why and it irked him slightly inside. It wasn’t often that he didn’t recognize someone - making note of all those he came in contact with. “Hey, Lex!” Beau called out, earning his attention to the person beside this mystery woman. Alexander stood up and gave his friend their usual greeting handshake, pulling each other in for a half hug. “Brought an extra body. She didn’t have any plans so I kidnapped her.” The joke earns a laugh from Alexander’s lips before he turned back to the woman and held out of his hand for an introduction. “Welcome. My family owns the area so we like to come up here every year. Like loud mouth here said, name’s Lex.”

Awkward was right but he did it intentionally. As soon as he spotted her, Alexander needed to investigate. Not that he didn’t truly believe her last time but...you never know. “I am indeed,” he tells her, a smirk slowly making its way onto his facial features. “Suppose we aren’t. Though I never told you my name.” A hum leaves his lips as he continued to dance with the woman. “I’m Lex. Persephone, right?” So he might have done his research first.....

The sound of footsteps cause him to be on high alert. Alexander sat up quickly from his bed, looking around his room for a moment. He gives himself a second - making sure he hadn’t been imagining the sounds in his sleep. Once he could confirm, the male quickly threw on his clothes and headed straight for the door, bat in hand. Upon witnessing first hand whom was intruding on his property, the male spoke and spoke loudly. “You better have one hell of an excuse for being outside my house this late.” His words are stated to heed warning to the other.

“Perhaps not,” he counters, only partially agreeing with her statement. “--But loneliness does have a cure. You just have to let yourself open up.” a small hum leaves the male’s lips as the two of them walked alongside each other. “I’ve got nowhere to be. I can keep you company, if you so choose.”

Things to know: Alexander is a great person to have as a friend. He is loyal ( to a fault ) and isn’t afraid to step in harms way if need be. However, on the flip side of this, Alexander is very reserved and tends to listen more than talk. He is a very romantic soul, as well. “I’m not god. And neither are they. Neither are you.” Lips pursed forward as she held the coffee cup close to her chest. An idea for her to try to get past all that shit in the others brain. The barriers that kept them at arms length. Gone the night before now back again like a bad dream.

“If you wanna play like gods. We can. But you bleed just the same as mer mortals.” She pushed herself from what she was leaning on. An attempt to close off the argument but he always had to have the last word she knew that.

“I don’t think I bleed nearly as much as you think I do.” The words are said matter-of-factly, choosing not to heed her warning. She was right, he did have to have the last word. Alexander pulled himself from his desk chair, buttoning the suit jacket in the process of standing up straight. 

“You know, as well as I, that we live by different rules than the rest of them.” A hum left his lips, arms folding over his chest as he looked at Katia. “Unless this isn’t about that at all. Hm,” he hums again, taking a step closer to the blonde. “If you’re scared, you’ve always had your safe word.” He towers over her, staring down at her with an intensity. “Or should Jackson and I test the boundaries of it again?”

“No, it’s not anyone here that makes me feel that way.” That was the truth, at least, but it didn’t make him feel any better about being at this party. Alexander looked over at Persephone, a hum leaving his lips as she nudged him. “But it’s true. You lose yourself after a while. It’s almost standard once you’re in your early twenties, don’t you think? We’ve all felt lost.”

Important things about Alex:

-- He is NOT as innocent as he looks -- Alexander is a soft and loyal partner but has no issues with one night stands and never speaking again.

-- HE HAS HAD STALKERS. This is very important to note. This is why Alex is SUPER observant around women especially. -- He comes from a military family and has military background. -- He never talks about his personal military background -- Alexander would never hit a woman but he would beat the absolute breaks off of someone who has/does. -- He’s Bella’s Ex. They don’t talk about it. 

-- He’s tried to ruin several of her relationships by trying to get her back. -- It’s worked several times. This is why he still hangs around. -- He’s not a bad person for this, he really does love her, they just never seem to work out for some reason.

-- Alexander has PTSD from his stalkers. He’s very skeptical and reserved because of it.  -- He can be caught looking over his shoulder a lot.  -- He also tries not to sleep during night hours and prefers to sleep during the day due to having his place broken into by said stalkers at night.
