It felt like Billy Martin was back today when Aaron Boone ripped into the umpires!! The ump at home plate has been calling strikes when the pitches were balls all day. Then Aaron Judge hits a screamer into left field. They call it foul, but then they're challenged, and they have to review it. From what I saw and from what the guys at the YES Network saw, that ball was fair. With the next pitch, Aaron Judge was told that he struck out. He thought it was a ball. Aaron spoke up, and that's when Aaron Boone snapped!! It was a thing of beauty!! He argued with the home plate ump. He argued with the 3rd base ump. He argued with any umpire that was available!! He stood up for my boys!! I have a little more respect for Aaron Boone today. Two days ago, he used his bullpen well after the starting pitcher only gave him 1.2 innings, and now he stood up for the team!!! Maybe he's using the clues that I'm buying him!! 😉😁🤣 Seriously, it was great to see how he defended my boys. He got thrown out of the game, but it was worth it. I think that he saw Judge about to get into the umpire's face and figured that he should get thrown out instead of Judge. Two days ago, Jazz Chisholm Jr. was thrown out for arguing with the home plate umpire because the pitcher threw a ball and not a strike. Jazz was walking to first base because he knew it was a ball. Jazz was so angry that he yelled and then threw his hat. That's when he was ejected. I think that the umpires in the Tampa Bay area should take a refresher course so this doesn't happen anymore. Just a thought 😁🤣

I can't read lips, but some of those photos show an expression on Boone's face that look like he's dropping F bombs all over the place 😁😍 It was like he was channeling Billy Martin 😁🤣
