He clutched his phone tightly within his clammy hands, utterly nervous. Youngjae stared at the device blankly, or more specifically at his call log. He stared. He stared and stared and stared. The clock hanging on his wall mocked him with its incessant ticking, and still, he stared.
He stared at the most recent phone number on his call log, a string of numerals he committed to memory two years ago. Youngjae stared and he wondered how a number that used to bring him so much joy and excitement was currently the root cause of his sorrows.
If it wasn't for the box full of your belongings sitting idly by his feet, would you have called?
He couldn't deny the tiny glimmer of hope that sparked within his chest when his phone screen lit up and displayed your number earlier that night. 
Were you finally ready to come back home to him? Were you getting tired of sleeping and waking up without a good morning or good night call? Were you constantly thinking of him too? Did you see his face every single time you close your eyes?
Because Youngjae was. He did. He was sick and tired of this so-called break in your relationship that you suggested a month ago. He had enough of the gigantic, gaping hole in his heart caused by your absence. He was alone, and he was over it.
When he closed his eyes and focussed hard enough, Youngjae could still picture the memories you shared. The classes he spent passing you little notes back and forth instead of learning about the history of musical composition. The afternoons spent lounging on the rooftop of Korea Arts High School, sharing a pair of earphones while humming softly. The nights spent sneaking you out of your trainee dorms for a cheat meal - a supper of tteokbokki with extra fishcakes, extra cheese and a container of mozzarella cheese balls. The secret messages and phone calls you made on your hidden phone as you hid under the covers of your bunk bed in the wee hours of the morning. Even the stolen, longing, loving glances you would exchange when he came to watch your performances. He could relive nearly every single moment.
But he also remembered the jealousy burning his insides when he watched your music show co-host act all lovey-dovey with you. He recollected the arguments about your close relationships with other male idols and trainees, stemming from his deep-rooted insecurities. He recalled the tears of betrayal and frustration streaming down his face when you finally said you needed a break from your relationship, simply because it was too much for you to handle. He could still feel how your harsh words stung and punched and stabbed his heart. It still hurt beyond belief.
A series of light knocks announced your awaited arrival. Youngjae laughed to himself, humourless and emotionless and cold. You knew the passcode to his apartment. There was a time when he was sure you memorised it, just like how he memorised your phone number. You used to punch the numbers in with glee and burst through the door, greeting him with a big hug.
Tonight was different. Youngjae trudged towards the front door, the box he carried in his arms dragging him down like a ton of bricks. A part of him didn't want to open the door. That way, he could continue living in this stagnant middle ground where your relationship neither ended or continued. At least that way he could grant himself the privilege of hope.
He opened the door to reveal a completely worn-out version of your usual bubbly self. You were sporting an oversized shirt and sweatpants, an outfit that used to consist of his own clothing. Your recently bleached hair, an eye-catching shade of platinum blonde, was thrown up into a lazy bun. Your stage makeup from the earlier music show recording hadn't been wiped off. Youngjae was reminded of how he used to wipe your makeup off when you were so fatigued from your performances. He missed doing these things for you. He missed his boyfriend duties. He missed the secret, low profile dates. He missed being close to you. He missed you.
"Youngjae, hey." You greeted so nonchalantly that a part of him broke. You weren't hurting like he did. "Sorry for coming at such a late hour, I just got off from the recording studio. I managed to borrow my manager's car and came here as soon as I was done. Is that all of it?" You asked, pointing at the cardboard box in his hands.
"Yeah, yes. Hey, Y/N. Um, do you need help with this? I could like, take it down to the car for you. It's a bit heavy."
You shook your head quickly, not wanting to prolong this conversation. "No, it's fine. I can take it. Here, pass it over." You reached out towards him, grabbing the box with ease.
Youngjae parted his lips to talk and you waited. To both of your dismay, no words came out of his mouth. For nearly ten seconds, the two of you stared at each other silently.
"Listen," you started, unable to bear the suffocating silence any longer.
"Actually, I meant to ask, how have you been? Are you doing well?" Youngjae forced the words out of his mouth. He regretted it the moment he saw your eyes avert his piercing, pleasing gaze.
"I'm alright, same old. Work's busier than ever." You paused, searching for the right words to let him down in the most painless way possible. 
He didn't know this, but you had felt disconnected from him for a long time now. It wasn't just because of your busy schedules. This job as an idol was demanding. Having been exposed to the cutthroat industry, both of you knew that very well. However, it wasn't the lack of quality time together that you couldn't deal with. It was Youngjae's possessiveness over you and his irrational jealousy of any male who came within thirty centimeters of you that drove you to the brink of insanity. You felt so restricted.
"Have you been eating enough? Your arms are thinner, it looks like you've lost weight." He began to ramble in a hurry, afraid that you would leave at any moment. "Maybe you should take more vitamins, you seem really tired and pale. You have to stay healthy. Don't get sick, okay? I know-"
"Youngjae," you cut him off. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry but I don't think I can continue with this; with us. This relationship has taken a huge toll on me and I'm sorry but it's best if we break up."
Those were the words. The dreaded words. Youngjae wanted to cover his hands over his ears so that he could drown out whatever you were saying. He didn't want to hear it at all. The two of you were going strong just a while ago, what happened? Everything changed so quickly. Or was there a gradual buildup? Did he miss the signs? Was he so blinded by his love for you that he completely missed the warning signs?
"Say something, Youngjae." You urged as the man in front of you fell into an internal conflict.
He snapped out of it at the sound of your voice. He hated to admit it but it was his favourite sound in the world. It could pull him out of the deepest, darkest depths. Ironically, it was now throwing him further into a bottomless pit. "Break up? Yeah. Yeah, okay." Youngjae forced himself to inhale a shaky breath. "Just, yeah. I hope you'll stay well."
"You too, Youngjae. There's someone out there who's better for you than me. I hope you find your happiness."
Inside, he refused to believe this to be true. You were his happiness. But he didn't say anything about that. Instead, he reminded you, "Keep doing what you love, and keep smiling. You know I'll always be here if you need me."
You nodded, unable to form a more appropriate response. 
Youngjae's vision began to blur. He knew he had to go before the waterworks started pouring uncontrollably. "Goodbye, Y/N. Drive safely."
He was still in love with you.

Chapter 6 - Lost
You woke up with your vision being very blurry, you woke up expecting to be in a room where you are tied up or bruised up lying on the cold floor. But you were in a bed with luscious and comfy pillows and comforters. You were alone in bed and confused about where you were. You were dressed in silk pajamas and had no idea where your weapons went. (You always carried them with you) You felt very unsafe. A butler came in startling you.
“Ah, you're up madam, please get dressed and have breakfast in the dining room, which is down the staircase to your right.”
You awkwardly got up from the bed as he left your room. You opened the closet to see a surprising amount of clothes that you would personally wear, it was almost an exact replica of the closet in your room. You put on a Gucci leather jacket, ripped black jeans at the knee and a white tank underneath. You walked downstairs with your silk slippers and noticed seven other guys sitting down at the table. They looked as if they had been expecting you. You quietly walked over and sat across from who you assumed was the leader. You didn’t eat anything yet, feeling that you had to wait for someone to tell you something before you could eat or even breathe.
“Y/n, so lovely for you to join us, please eat some breakfast, then we will talk.”
Why were they so nice? You took a few slices of watermelon, bacon, and waffles and slowly ate in silence as the rest of the guys kept talking. You were finished and walked over to the sink to put the dishes as you were about to wash them one of the tall guys grabbed the plate from your hands and spoke to you.
“I’ll clean them for you, you go sit down on the couch.”
You walked and sat on the couch as the guys kept talking at the dining room table. You looked around at the decor around you. The house had very modern decor that made it look elegant, there were numerous awards on the walls and expensive chandlers hanging from the ceiling. It is clear that he is a successful mafia, most likely one of the best in the area. The one who you presumed was the leader, walked over to you and sat across from you in a chair.
“Alright, I’m going to make this short and simple for you. Mark has something he owes us, but we have something he needs, so you are technically being held hostage for a while.”
“Is anything happening to Mark?”
“If he doesn’t bring what he needs, he will.”
“Do I get to at least to get to know your names? If I’m going to be here a while?”
“Ah, yes, I’m sorry for being rude, I’m Jackson. That tall one over there is Yugyeom and the one taking notes and calls is Jaebum, but you can call him JB. The one drinking soup is Mark, the one eating bacon is Jinyoung, the one humming to music is Youngjae, and the one that keeps dabbing is BamBam. For the time being, make yourself at home, walk around, we do have eyes on you everywhere.”
They were not joking about that you walked to go to the bathroom and there were guards at practically every entrance, every hallway had multiple hidden cameras, and the doors could only be unlocked by the members of staff. You had bodyguards following you everywhere except for the bathroom and your bedroom. Balcony doors and windows also were locked, so it would be impossible to find it. Quickly the day passed, you had lunch and got to know all of the boys. It was around 6:00 and you had time. You found yourself wander into a bedroom and immediately knew whose it was.
There were almost all Fendi clothes in his closet, he had a huge Chinese character “wang” hanging up on the wall. You walked and saw pictures on his dresser. Most of them were his members, other friends, and you tried to look for a picture of his family, but you later found more pictures on the bedside table. You walked over and found a picture of your mom??? Another one was your dad?? You saw on the other table it was a picture of you, when you were about five, picking flowers. Jackson was your brother, who you have not seen in 18 years. You soon heard the cocking of the gun, and you knew it was Jackson.
“Put that picture down.”
You put it down and looked at him and said
“I’m your sister.”
“Nice one, she died about 5 years ago, so don’t lie to me.”
“Jackson please, how can I prove it to you.”
“Come.”
You followed him into what looked to be an interrogation room, and he sat you down and held a book that looked old, since all of the pages were almost yellow, and the pages looked crinkled. You also had gotten tied down, to ensure that you wouldn’t take this chance to escape since all members were present.
“Once I say the spell if you are indeed my sister, it will give me the proper response, if not, you might pass out for a couple of hours, are you sure you want to go through with this?”
“Yes.”
You had never been more certain of anything else in your life.
“I call to summon the Wang family eye
From the far lands and dark sky
Reveal to me what another can’t see
Open the eyes and be free
Those eyes once filled with tears they bled
Show me the flame show me the red
If not they shall be filled with black and flood
Now show me the eyes only passed on by blood!”
You felt your eyes glow a red and you were levitating leaning towards Jackson who appeared to look like he was crying. The chair delicately floated back down, and Jackson ran to hug you.
“Um, I’m still tied up…”
“Oh, right.”
Jackson untied you and held you tight, and you felt that you couldn’t breathe. You felt his tears rolling down his cheeks.
“y-y/n, I missed you s-s-so much.”
The rest of the group was crying, looking at both of you.
“Is this where you had been the whole time?”
“Y-yeah”
You realized that this was your old house. Jackson had renovated it, making it more modern. But the hallways and rooms were mostly the same. You then realized that your dad’s company was a mafia gang, and Jackson had been running this ever since. But soon after you heard a door burst open and a few gunshots had been fired.
“Shit. Looks like your boyfriend is here.”
Jackson got up along with the other boys out the door.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Mark and his little posse.”
“Where is she”
Jackson gestured you to step forward and held you next to him. Mark stepped out to try and grab you, but Jackson stopped him.
“No, no, no, not until you give us what we asked for Mark.”
“Here”
he slid a suitcase over to Jackson, and he opened it filled with what looked like over ₩11,795,700,000 in cash.
“You know what else you owe us. We want our drug dealing hotspots back.”
“You know we fought for those fair and square, it's not our fault your men can’t defend well.”
“Don’t test me Lee, or she will suffer.”
Jackson held a gun to your head as your eyes filled with tears and they started to roll down your cheek. Was he really going to kill his sister?
“Let her go Jackson.”
“Not until you give us back those hotspots.”
“We are not giving those back.”
They were at a standoff, and there was tension in the air, you prepared yourself to duck or hear a gunshot. Mark stared at you can give a signal to duck as you saw from behind Mark Johnny shoot Jackson in the side of his arm as he fell. Soon all the gunshot went crazy. Mark went after Jackson as the rest of his group started to attack GOT7. Punches, guns, and knives were being thrown everywhere. You heard Jackson and Mark yelling as you grabbed a gun dropped on the floor and ran to go find both of them. 
They were in Jackson’s bedroom. You ran in and saw them throwing each other all over the place. It was a heartbreaking sight. Seeing your boyfriend and your brother fight. You couldn’t bear to see it. Jackson and Mark punching each other and throwing each other into the wall. It made you feel light-headed to see them fight, and you started to cry really hard. You felt your body go weak and felt lightheaded. You soon found yourself collapsing by the doorway with your name being screamed as your vision went blurry.
“Y/N! Y/N!”
You saw someone running towards you as he picked you up and you wrapped your arms around his neck as you noticed it was Jaehyun carrying you in a rush. He looked at you in worry as you took one of your hand as held his cheek you smiled lightly. He looked at you and smiled as your vision went black again.
You woke up in a different bed that wasn’t yours…or Mark’s. You looked around and could not figure it out. That was until you saw Jaehyun with only a towel and you looked away blushing and playing with your necklace.
“Y/n are you okay? I put some painkillers and water next to you in case.”
“Oh, thank you.”
Your head didn’t hurt, but you drank some water. You also noticed you were dressed in just your underwear and a big shirt, which you assumed was Jaehyun’s.
“You can change if you want, I’d understand since Mark would get jealous or something.”
“No, it’s okay, it’s just a shirt.”
You just looked at Jaehyun in silence as he went to go change in the bathroom. You decided to walk out when you saw Mark and a/n talking in the living room. A/n seemed to me cleaning Mark’s wounds and putting ice on his bruises.
“Mark, I’m so sorry for the way I behaved at the ball, I know you still love me.”
You saw Mark smile and kiss her cheek.
“Always”
“Is y/n okay?”
“Yeah she was fine, just overacted a little bit. It was a little annoying.”
So kissing me and telling me you loved me was annoying? Ridiculous. You immediately ran to the balcony of Jaehyun’s room and ripped off the necklace he gave you and threw it into the abyss of the garden. You started to cry and lean on the balcony railing as Jaehyun noticed and ran up to you.
“Y/n, what’s wrong?”
“M-mark, n-n-never loved me, did he?”
Jaehyun looked at you with sad and sympathetic eyes.
“Do you want to an honest answer, y/n?”
“Yes”
“He did love you in the beginning, wouldn’t stop talking about you. But when it was nearing your anniversary, he complained about you more. He constantly sad you were annoying, treating him like a baby. He wanted you because he knew you wanted him. But when he noticed you got friendly with the rest of us, he called you a slut and an attention whore. I didn’t stay after he mentioned that, but I can say that he most likely said worse afterward. He said he can get anyone he wanted and he knew how desperate you were for him, which is why he went after you I guess, to ensure that you still wanted him. He tried everything to make sure you only thought of him, meaning he would get in the way of any chance for you to move on. He was selfish, I’m sorry for telling you this.”
“…”
“y/n?”
“Thank you. For telling me.”
You leaned on Jaehyun’s warm shoulder as you silently cried as he rubbed your back and played with your hair.
“One second, Jaehyun”
You left his arms as you immediately walked down to see Mark and a/n still talking. You coughed as Mark noticed and looked at you in Jaehyun’s shirt which was a dress on you. He grabbed your arm and asked to talk to you privately as you both walked into a hallway.
“Why is this on you?”
“Why do you care?”
“Give me an answer, y/n.”
“Jaehyun gave it to me. What’s it to you?”
“You’re mine, not someone else’s.”
“No. I am not.”
“What?”
“I’m not your property, you do not ‘own’ me, I am my own person, and I get to choose what to do with my life.”
“I just killed a man for you, the one who was holding you hostage? Is that not enough for you?”
“You killed…Jackson?”
“Yeah? Who else?”
You immediately started to break down and punch Mark, where he was bruised by your brother.
“Ow. OW! Y/n!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!”
“YOU KILLED MY BROTHER YOU ASSHOLE!!” “HE DESERVED TO BE KILLED, HE HAS BEEN OUR BIGGEST COMPETITION ALL YEAR!”
“THAT’S ALL YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FUCKING POWER, YOU DON’T EVEN CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH THIS HURTS ME RIGHT NOW! JACKSON WAS MY ONLY FAMILY LEFT, AND YOU LEFT HIM TO DIE BEFORE ASKING HIME ANYTHING. GOD, YOU ARE SUCK A HEARTLESS DICK MARK!”
You shoved Mark into the wall and walked passed him as you ran to Jaehyun’s room and hugged him with flooding tears. He picked you up and held you while you were still hugging him.
“F-first he breaks my heart, then he kills my brother, officially the worst day, ever.”
“I tried to warn him not to kill him.”
“You knew?”
“I had to do a background check on you before we hired you, I knew you were a connection to GOT7 if we ever needed it, but I guess that’s gone now. I’m so sorry y/n, and I’m sorry for your loss.”
“Thank you, Jaehyun. For being the only one who. Cared for me. You cared about who I was as a person, didn’t use me, and made sure I was alright.”
“Of course, I worry about you a lot y/n.”
You let go of Jaehyun as you looked into his eyes and you leaned in to kiss him. It was a soft and sweet kiss with your tears flowing down your cheek.
“I love you y/n, you know that.” “…”
“I will always be here for you.”

"Hey Y/N, wanna come with us for lunch? Yumi and I can..." Yeji searched the room for Yumi, but she was already outside with Jisung. "I mean, Ryujin and I can show you around the cafeteria."
"And by the way, no, Jisung and Yumi aren't dating. Yumi is oblivious and Jisung's blind," she added as I chuckled at her statement.
"I'm really, really sorry, Yeji. I promised my best friend we'd eat lunch together 'cause it's my first day. Maybe tomorrow?" Yeji agreed. She went to the girl named Ryujin and pulled her out of the room.
I checked my phone for any texts. No texts, but there was a missed call from Jeonghan. Being his best friend, I knew this meant I was late. I fixed my stuff in a hurry and ran out.

"I'm late. I'm late. I'm late. Jeonghan might leave me."
I walked too fast while trying to text Jeonghan and explaining to him why I was about to be late. Forty minutes left 'til the next class means I'm not too late, right?
My phone began ringing and ringing. Without even checking who it was, I answered.
"Hannie, I'm so, sooo, so sorry, okay? Where are you? At the cafeteria? Okay, okay, I'm still-"
I was too preoccupied by the call that I didn't bother looking where I was going. I walked fast and unexpectedly, a guy in a black Supreme hoodie forcefully bumped into me. No, I forcefully bumped into him.
I stayed down, unable to stand. I checked my elbows and knees for any wounds. Oh my god, why am I like this? I was lost in my own thoughts when a hand appeared in front of me.
"Are you okay, miss?"
It felt as if time stopped. Like we were surrounded by galaxies. The guy in front of me was glowing. Was he? Maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me.
This feeling felt familiar. I've seen this before. It was like that moment when I saw Nichkhun except this time, the guy was right in front of me. For some reason, I couldn't breathe at all. Is he an angel?
The angel snapped his fingers before my eyes, bringing me back to consciousness. "Oh, um... I'm fine, I think."
He smiled at me. That freaking smile. His strong features turned soft. His expression melted my heart. He took my hand and pulled me up.
"I don't think you're okay," he tried to check my wounds but I resisted. The guy I bumped into was assisted by another guy that wore more earrings than I ever do. I was brought back to my senses, so I approached him and apologized.
"Oh, it's okay, it's okay. We both should've looked at where we were going," he said with a huge smile. He was cute, but it was nothing compared to the angel. "My name's Choi Youngjae, vocal. I'm a Class JYP junior."
"Ah, it's nice to meet you, sunbaenim. I'm Y/N, your JYP hoobae. A sophomore," I grabbed his hand with my free one and shook it. As much as I hated leaving the angel without getting his name, I needed to run to Jeonghan. "I should really get going. Again, I'm sorry."
"No problem, just be sure you'll pay me back. Bye, hoobae!" He said loudly while throwing a wink at me. Gosh, why is everyone in this school so good-looking? Especially that angel.

"He's just so perfect. His blonde hair swept to the side, his light scent that I could smell forever, the model-like structure of his face, everything about him is just so amazing. Have I ever started on his smile?"
Jeonghan sighed for the nth time. "Yes, you have. Thousands of times, probably."
"Well, I guess that's not enough. You know he has really strong features and when he smiles, his whole face softens. Don't even get me started on his laugh."
I stopped as soon as I saw the annoyed look on Jeonghan's face. "Hannie, why are you being like that?"
"What do you mean?"
"You act like I've abandoned you forever. It's just a crush! Maybe a huge one, though. I mean, it can be something more..."
"Really, Y/N? It's your first day in our dream school and all you blab about is that 'angel'? I thought I was your angel."
I've had enough. This wasn't the Jeonghan who had my back anytime. "Well, I thought you'd be the supportive Hannie I knew. I guess you're not really the best friend you always bragged about."
I stood up and left the table. I'm not really the dramatic type but I never expected him to act like this. He's supposed to be supportive, just like he always was. What's gotten into him?
I quickly stepped outside of the cafeteria, not stopping even after hearing Hannie run after me. We've already passed the hallways when he caught up to me.
"Yah!" He said, pulling my arm to face him. "Listen."
I gave in easily. What can I say, it's my best friend.
"It's just that it took you so long to come here and I was really, really hungry. I promised myself I'd wait for you before eating, but when you finally came..." He looked down. "Instead of talking about being in the school we've been dreaming of since, like, the beginning of time, all you talk about is a guy you just met."
I felt ashamed. I'm probably too overwhelmed today. I pulled Jeonghan in for a hug. "I'm so, so sorry, Hannie. I was so excited about today that I didn't think you'd feel like that."
He just laughed while returning the hug. He then pulled away and rested his hands on my shoulders. "That makes you sound so selfish."
He opened my hand and put something inside it. "But seeing those wounds, it looks like you need time to look after yourself."
He closed my hand, exiting the scene right after. I opened my hand to see what he put. On my palm, there sat five band-aids. I didn't even realize that my fall left wounds around my arm because I was too distracted. I don't know what to do without Hannie. He is and will always be my angel.

“hey so um, when do you think you’ll be home?” you asked through the phone that was balanced between your ear and shoulder. you heard mark hum through the receiver, ignoring the sound of his footsteps crunching in the background. 
“ah soon baby, why? something wrong?” you took a deep breath as you shuffled through the mail,finding your pregnancy test results envelope at the bottom. as you opened it quickly, you stuttered out a “just wondering, i miss you a lot.” your eyes glossed over the doctor’s letter, your heart hammering against your chest when it read that the tests came out positive. 
you were so caught up in the letter, you didn’t hear mark entering your apartment. when his warm arms wrapped around your waist, his lips instinctively kissing your neck, you jumped at the contact. quickly you folded the letter up and turned in his arms.
“hey,” mark started, reaching up to cup your chin, his brown eyes searching yours.”you’re really bad at hiding your feelings you know?”
you laughed breathlessly and handed him the letter. taking one more glance at you, he read the letter and it seemed like forever before he finally said anything, the quiet eating you alive. 
“do you know how far along you are?” he asked, folding the letter blindly, his attention fully on you. “are you feeling alright? is there anything you-” he trailed off when you wrapped your arms around his torso and hugged him tightly. mark hugged you back, “damn y/n, we’re going to be parents,” he murmured and you nodded numbly, but the peaceful moment didn’t last before mark was sweeping you off your feet bridal style, pressing a chaste kiss to your forehead.
“since i already gave you one, i might as well give you another one,” he said with a shrug, heading down the hall to your bedroom, “mark! it doesn’t work like that!”

jaebum:
he was doing his part of the chores, dumping all the trash in your house, humming along to the song you were blasting from your speaker. as he was dumping the bathroom trash some fell, missing the bag in his hand. groaning, he leaned down to pick up the makeup wipes and things when he noticed the pregnancy test stick. slowly, he picked it up, his brown eyes widening at the sight of the two lines. 
“hey are you-” you paused in the doorway seeing him holding the stick, your heart falling to the bottom of your stomach. “jaebum...i’ve been meaning to tell you about that.” you voice sounded so small compared to earlier. jaebum looked at you in complete shock and you bit your lip,”how far along are you, y/n?”
“about two months now..”
“two- oh my god.” he dropped the stick and the trash bag before embracing you in his arms,”oh my god i’m going to be a dad!” he leaned back and placed a a hand on your stomach with the brightest smile on his face.
“a mini us is growing in your stomach!” you giggled as he gently touched your stomach. looking back up to you, he frowned before mushing your forehead,”hey!”you protested rubbing your forehead.
“how could you keep this away from me for so long?”
“i didn’t know how to tell you, okay? i wasn’t even sure if i wanted it..” jaebum’s gaze softened at your words and easily he brought you back into his arms. “i don’t want you to do that, but i can’t tell you what to do with your body... but it would be nice to have someone else around here calling me daddy you know.”
you gasped and punched his arm,”i can’t stand you!” you exclaimed as jaebum chuckled to himself,”i saw my shot and i took it...but at least really think about it okay?” you nodded and let him give you a kiss.

jackson:
“jackson, jackson wake up.” you said nudging him and eventually he rolled over with a aggravated moan, his eye cracking open to see you sitting beside him. “what-” he paused when you showed him a pregnancy test, he reached for the test groggily,
“don’t touch that part!” you erupted yanking the pregnancy test tip away from jackson’s grasp, the half-awake rapper was definitely up now and let you slowly bring the test back to him, showing the plus sign that proved you were indeed pregnant. he stared at the test then at you then the test again, groaning, you dropped the test down and stomped off to the bathroom, jackson was slowly rising off the bed when you came back. he was even more shook when you dropped ten more tests on the bed. but jackson didn’t even care for the other tests, his gaze was on you, trembling in the wee early morning hours and from your sniffling and puffy eyes, you had been crying. sitting back down on the bed, jackson grasped your wrist and pulled you in between his legs. instinctively he placed his head gently against your stomach. 
“its so silent in here for carrying a mini you. you’re loud as fuck.” he teased, even through your tears a laugh escaped your lips and you ran your fingers through his messy hair. 
“what are we going to do? we have so many plans and now-”
“and now what?” he questioned sitting up and looking you dead in the eye,”those plans are still going to happen, with a little clone of us by our side! baby we’re going to be fine.” he grasped your hands and kissed both of them,”now get these pee stained tests off our sheets so we can go to bed, its cuddle time.”

jinyoung:
“should we keep it? are we even ready for this? j, i don’t know what to do.” you confessed slumping down onto your bed, jinyoung had been quiet the entire time, his hands stuffed deep in his pockets in thought. when you noticed his cold stature, you groaned covering your face with your hands. “if you don’t want to be apart of this, i understand, jinyoung. i can figure it out.” 
you were surprised when you felt his strong hands grip your wrists and pull then from your face so you could see him kneeling in front of you. “you didn’t make this baby by yourself so why would i ever leave all this to you?” he placed his hand gently against your stomach, a sweet smile growing on his face.
“nice to meet you little one, i’m your dad.” he whispered, you place your hand on top of his and he intertwined your fingers. “you know i’ve already felt the kick, so this automatically means he or she is definitely in favor of me.”
“they aren’t even fully formed yet! how could you possibly feel a kick?”
“trust me, i’m a expert here.”
“i call bullshit.”
“language! i don’t want our child around that type of environment” he chastised playfully. you couldn’t help but smile at that,our child

youngjae:
you and youngjae had been discussing early on in your marriage about starting a family, especially since the group was on hiatus and he had just finished his military service. you had started trying to have a baby in secret and the first few attempts had been so unsuccessful and at first youngjae was becoming discouraged. but finally after going to the doctor while he was in the studio, you found out you were indeed six weeks pregnant and rushed home to tell him.
“are you serious? like forreal? forreal?” when you only nodded your head slowly, youngjae tackled you in a hug, kissing all over your face and ignoring your laughs and protests before he would start ranting like crazy.
“oh shit this is really happening. okay we’ve gotta start getting doctor appointments going, planning the room, oh no and the baby shower, oh and how will we tell our parents and families because you know they are-” when you cut him off with a kiss, he’d melt just a little, taking a huge deep breath.
“you’re stressing me out jae, relax, okay?”
he’d cup your face and lean his forehead against yours, nodding in response.”i feel like the luckiest man alive.”

bambam:
you two weren’t trying to have kids anytime soon, not that you weren’t ready but because you had so much focus on your careers, there wasn’t even time for a discussion. but after not seeing each other for a while and spending a few days in bed with each other and doing ya know grown folks business, symptoms had begun to show a few weeks later. after a doctor’s visit and lost of thinking, you broke the news to bambam that you were already a month or so along.
“damn, does this mean i’ve gotta marry you now?” 
he’d start laughing so hard when you pushed him away from you, obviously not amused. “this isn’t funny babe! everything’s going to change now.”
bambam would still smile at you and kiss your forehead
“so what if it does? we’re going to be alright, i didn’t put in all that work for nothing.”
bambam would start laughing again when you pushed him away just as hard as the first time and tried to escape his grasp. though he was joking around about it, he was scared of the fact he was actually bringing a child into the world and knowing that this was a huge responsibility, it weighed heavily on his mind. but he knew you were scared too and he wasn’t going to show any weakness, striving to be strong and support you and his baby.

yugyeom: 
when you found out you were pregnant, you were scared af due to the fact you both were so young and you didn’t believe either of your were ready for that responsibility. it took some time for you to get up the guts to tell him, resulting in you putting distance between you and yugyeom - which didn’t roll over well with him. homeboy was blowing up your phone, your mama’s phone, your siblings phone, he was scared as shit because you were ghosting him. 
so one day he showed up at your house, barging in on you stress eating and asked what the hell was going on. when you finally spilled that you were pregnant, yugyeom bent down in front of you, hands rubbing your knees
“wait - wait, there’s a little me growing inside of you?”
“well yes yugyeom, when you put your mini me inside of me without protection, that tends to happen.” 
when he started smiling at you, your confusion was pretty evident, yugyeom would pull you into a warm hug.
“damn, i thought you had died or something. either way we’re gonna get through this together like we’ve done everything else.“

Like Oh 2.0 - Change of Plans

Melanie entered Serena's room at five in the morning. "Hey." She turned on the lights, but didn't see her sister. "Where she go?" She noticed her sister's things still left on the dresser before shutting off the light, closing the door, and walking towards the living room. "Serena?" There was no response once the younger woman scanned the area as well. "Serena?" Melanie called her sister's name one more time just as she let out a groan. "She better not be in her stupid little secret hideout." Melanie made her way towards the closet and stepped inside to make her way into 503 from 501 through the secret entry way.
Serena told Melanie about the other apartment several days after her birthday when she was talking about Mark like usual. It just slipped and Melanie wasn't mad or anything that Mark had found out first. Or that the two hung out more than she and he ever would. Melanie was upset that Serena hadn't told her about it in the first place After that Serena got another copy of the key made in case her sister wanted to spend time in the smaller apartment if she didn't want to travel through the closet. So far, it's been okay as Melanie's been hanging out in the bigger one and Serena has been in the smaller one as of late.
Melanie called out for her sister once she was inside 503. "Serena!" She yelled out loud enough for Serena to hear as the older woman stirred atop from her sleeping area, but went back to bed thinking it was just something in her dreams. "Serena." It came again and Serena knew that it wasn't a dream. "What?" Serena asked as she opened her eyes while sitting up and slowly made her way to the railing to look below. "What do you want?" Serena glared while letting out a yawn. "There's a change of plans." Melanie said as she climbed the stairs and sat at the top step. "We're not going back home."
"Why?" Serena asked as she ran a hand through her hair. "Remember how I told you that the flight got switched last minute last night." "Yeah." "I went to go and check us in for it, but it got switched to another gate. Then that flight got delayed and now it got cancelled." "That's so fucking dumb. So what are you gonna do?" "Just waiting for the airlines to refund me. The next flight back home has two connecting flights, but doesn't leave until later tonight." "So?" "I also have to reconnect us, but there's like a six hour layover before take off." "That's so freaking dumb." Serena groaned as she lied back down. "You could've just let me sleep in."
"Because I don't want you yelling at me for not waking your ass up, that's why." Melanie countered as she moved from the top step and lied down at the other side of the bed. "I guess we won't be home for the holidays." Serena muttered with eyes closed as Melanie agreed. "Yeah. The boys will be so disappointed." "It's okay. They have their own ladies to celebrate it with, except James." "You do remember that you and James still have that snowman contest to finish right from last year?" Melanie looked at her sister as Serena opened her eyes to turned her gaze onto her sister as well. "Ugh, I do. Oh well, I guess this year we just won't do it."
Melanie then looked up at the ceiling with a thoughtful expression. "This will be our first Christmas in Seoul." Serena did the same thing. "Yeah. This will be our first Christmas here and not back at home. Sounds kinda sad." "That's just you." Melanie laughed as Serena rolled her eyes, but knew it was the truth. "Whatever." She turned onto her side away from Melanie and closed her eyes. "I'm going back to bed. There's another blanket in the closet if you're going to sleep here." "Yeah, too lazy to go back to the other apartment." Melanie grabbed the extra blanket and soon fell asleep with Serena joining her a second later.

It was two in the afternoon when Melanie decided to go Christmas decorations shopping now that she and Serena weren't going home. Melanie let Serena sleep in as she borrowed Serena's card again for miscellaneous usage and this shopping trip was for miscellaneous items. While driving around town to shop for specific items she made a stop at a Dunkin' Donuts close to home as she wanted something warm to drink and buy donuts for her and Serena. Melanie wasn't aware which Dunkin' Donuts she had went to causing her to bump into GOT7's leader at the same time when she got her order.
"Whoa, my bad. I'm sorry. Oh, hey noona." Jaebeom greeted with a small smile gracing his lips as he was carrying two drink carriers when he and Melanie slightly bumped into one another when she had turned around from grabbing a few napkins. "Oh, um, hi?" Melanie let out like a question as she didn't recognized the person due to them being covered up cozily. "Do I know you?" She asked a second later when she still couldn't figure out who it was. Jaebeom laughed softly as he leaned forward to whisper for her to only hear in English. "It's me, Jeffrey."
"Hey." Melanie greeted back in English with more enthusiasm as she stared at the idol's get-up better and switched back to Korean. "I can see it now." She smiled a bit embarrassed at not recognizing him nor his voice off the bat. "Sorry about running into you." "Oh, no, don't be sorry, noona. It's all good. I wasn't looking either." He cast her a reassuring smile, but she didn't see it due to the scarf obscuring it from view. "Anyways, what are you doing on this side of town?" Jaebeom asked Melanie as the duo made their way out of the cafe and began walking across the street towards the JYP building although Melanie still wasn't aware of it.
"I went Christmas shopping earlier and just stopped by the first coffee place I saw on the way back to unnie's place." She explained. "How about you? What are you doing on this side of town?" Melanie asked as the two were now inside the JYP building through the back way as to avoid fans and other people. Jaebeom let out a laugh as Melanie elbowed him. "Why is that funny?" "Did you not see what building we entered?" Melanie actually took in her surroundings, but didn't think much of it as she saw people here and there along with other things. "No." He let out another laugh before telling her. "You're inside JYP Entertainment, noona."
"You're lying." Melanie said as she stopped walking and actually scanned the area. "How?" Jaebeom had stopped walking once she had stopped and pulled down the scarf a bit to reveal the lower part of his face. "When you walked inside with me. You didn't notice?" "No, JB, I didn't. Wahy did you let me come in with you though?" "Because we were talking and I didn't feel like mentioning anything if you weren't going to say something first." Jaebeom explained in an obvious tone as he motioned with his head for her to follow him. "C'mon. The rest of the members and I are down this way."
Melanie followed him with clumsy steps as she wasn't sure if she should or not, but decided why not since she was already here. They climbed the stairs for easier usage to the practice rooms and Melanie entered the room a bit slowly after Jaebeom did. "Ah finally!" Youngjae exclaimed as he ran over to the leader to get his iced americano. "Did you get me my choco shake, hyung?" Yugyeom asked coming from behind Youngjae. "Oh, hey, Chaewon noona." BamBam greeted Melanie upon spotting her standing a few feet behind Jaebeom and he did a double take upon seeing the female in the practice room, but more importantly inside the company as he realized that fact. "Chaewon noona? Why are you here?"
"Uh..." Melanie trailed off as someone interrupted her. "Chaewon noona! Hi!" Jackson grinned as he ran towards her to envelope her into a huge hug and once he let her go he expected to see the other sister, but frowned. "No Jyongri noona?" "Unnie's at home." She answered while Jackson pulled her towards the center of the practice room so that they could sit down along with the others. "How come you're here?" "I wasn't planning on coming, but I bumped into JB and now I'm here." Melanie explained with a little laugh. "I was doing some errands for Christmas next week as unnie and I aren't going home for the holidays."
"Not going home for the holidays. Why, what happened?" Mark asked upon joining the circle as Melanie looked over at him. "It was about our flights. Change of plans, really." She shrugged as she remembered she still held the two box of donuts. "Do you guys want some donuts? It was supposed to be for me and unnie, but I can buy some more later when I leave from here." "Oh, yes, please!" Youngjae exclaimed with a smile while Melanie placed the boxes onto the ground. "Help yourself." She looked about the room and noticed it was different from the one that they usually aired on their YouTube channel.
"What are you guys practicing for?" She asked as Jinyoung answered her while biting into a doughnut. "For the end of the year performances." "Oh, right. I forgot about that. So how is it going?" "Do you wanna see an early sneak peek, noona?" Yugyeom asked as Melanie shook her head with a laugh. "No, it's okay. I can wait until it airs or something like that like the others." Melanie glanced from one to the other. "How long is your break before going back? Also where's your manager and probably dance choreographer or whatever?" "They're also on break." Jaebeom informed her after finishing his doughnut. "They'll be back in twenty."
"Y'know, unnie mentioned this to me the other day, but why is that your manager isn't around y'all when y'all hang out with us?" She asked as the idols shrugged not knowing the answer either. "I guess it's just luck." Jinyoung simpy answered with a smile as Melanie nodded. She felt her phone vibrate and checked it. Serena had messaged her and she went to answer that as the other boys continued to talk and eat the rest of the donuts without her. ~Hey pick up some ice cream and chips on the way home~ Melanie read her sister's message silently before typing back. ~There should be some left over~ Serena replied back quickly. ~I ate it yesterday. Please. I'll make you a large ass bowl of noodles with cheese when you get here~ ~They better be done by the time I get there~ Melanie replied back with a smile.
She put her phone away while standing up as GOT7 watched her. "Well, I'm gonna get going. Unnie wants some snacks and in return she'll make me food." Melanie told them with a smile while pointing at the donuts with several pieces still left. "You guys can finish the rest of that. Unnie doesn't want donuts and neither do I." "Are you leaving now?" BamBam pouted as Melanie nodded. "Yeah, but you guys can go back to rehearsing for the end of the year award shows without me here. That's important. Good luck and hope y'all win some awards!" She was about to turn around when she turned back to face the group again. "How do I get out of here?"

The sisters were decorating the fake plastic white tree that Melanie had bought earlier today after they got done eating an hour ago. "Hey, Lani." Serena softly called out as Melanie answered with a hum. "Hmm?" "Would you think it's weird or whatever if the biases that we like are actually not the ones that we actually like, like in person?" Melanie paused in wrapping the silver tinsel around the tree while Serena paused in doing the same thing, but with the gold tinsel in hand. "Why do you ask, Lina?" Melanie asked her sister as the two stared at one another with Serena shrugging. "Just asking."
The duo continued on with finishing the tinsel wrapping on the tree when Serena spoke again with some hestiation as Melanie picked up on it. "What if I told you that I might of have caught real actual feelings for your bias?" "And he's from which group?" Melanie asked although she had a feeling on who her sister was talking about as the same thoughts had filled her mind as well. "The one from GOT7." Serena admitted although she actually hadn't said his name yet, but knew her sister already knew who she was talking about. "And if I did the same for your bias, Rere?" Melanie asked returning the same question towards her sister. "What would you think?"
"Well, to be honest, it is what it is, Mel." Serena said as both sisters looked at one another once they were done with the two tinsel colors. "I'm sorry, but I think I like Mark." Serena confessed with a sheepish laugh as Melanie shot her sister a sheepish smile. "Honestly, don't be. Because I think I like Jaebeom, too." Both sisters let out laughs upon confessing of liking each other's biases. "Since when?" Melanie asked her sister as the two went back to decorating the tree with the glass orb ornaments. "Actually, I'm not sure, but I think I realized it during their fan-sign in Dongdaemun when Jaebeom didn't make me feel anything when we interacted. You?"
"Kinda the same, but I think for sure it hit me when it was on my birthday after we ran off because of the cousins." Melanie said as she paused from that thought. "Which I'm so happy to know that they've finally backed off when they got a reality check. They were stalking this good-looking classmate at Seouldae who turned them in when he realized they bugged his house and picked on his poor sister who was like in middle school because they thought she was his girlfriend. Anyways," She continued back to the conversation about Jaebeom, "I didn't really think I liked him, but I knew my intital feelings for Mark weren't as strong as they were before."
"So what now?" Serena asked with a laugh. "Do we still continued with our biases for GOT7 or move on over to the ones that we actually like now that we've met and hung out with them in real life?" "How about neither? We just switched over to Jinyoung being our bias." Melanie suggested with a laugh as Serena shot her sister a playful glare. "Um, excuse you, no. Jinyoung was my original bias. Why don't you go with Jackson or something." "Psh, yeah right. We can share." "Wait, how about this." Serena shot her sister a sly look. "You stick with GOT7 and I'll go over to PENTAGON." "Stupid." Melanie rolled her eyes upon her sister's words.
"Anyways," Serena spoke after a second as she took a break from decorating the tree and let her sister finished the rest of it, "I don't know what to do since they're idols and that would be crazy to go forward with it. Don't you think?" She said as she sat on the couch. "Um, yeah, you're telling me." Melanie agreed as she put the last candy cane on the tree. "For now, I think we should just keep it to ourselves. It's not like they need to know how we feel. Like you said, Serena." Melanie cast a look at her sister with a shrug. "They're idols and out in the public and we're just, y'know, normal people and their fans." "True. There's still that barrier of reality."
"Mmhmm. Yup there is." Melanie agreed as Serena stood up and stretched her limbs. "Anyhow, I guess we have to buy presents now to put under the tree." "Duh, of course." Melanie deadpanned with a grin as she held up small Christmas lights. "How else am I going to get my gifts if not from the family back home." Serena narrowed her eyes at her sister. "You get plenty of gifts from me throughout the year." "I know, but this is Christmas time. It's totally different." "I hate you." "Sure you do. Anyways, Rere, come help me with this. I think the lights are gonna make it look super pretty at night and can use as the night light instead." "Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, Mel."

likes to float around the warm waters close to shore and play with fish he runs into around the corals
once put a crab on his shoulder and was excitedly showing jackson when it decided to pinch his ear
he doesn’t mess with crabs anymore, instead glaring at them when he swims by
jackson’s like bro... they’re not scared of you. you look about as threatening as a baby otter
youngjae: what?? i can be mean!!!! 
proceeds to stick his tongue out at the crabs 
jackson: oh my god... bro...
so crabs are a no, but he still loves the bright, excited fish that swim around his tail and nudge into his palms
will bring little bits of algae to feed them
does he get swarmed by fish?? you bet he does
but he loves it
he also loves swimming out to secluded beaches and letting the sun warm his face
because yeah,, sometimes you can see the sun from 30 feet underwater
but it’s different above the waves
what makes him sad, though, are the pieces of trash that inevitably brush his skin every time he comes to the surface
he doesn’t understand,,, why can’t humans just put their beer cans and straws where they actually belong
so to clean up his home a little bit (and to make a point), he collects all the trash he can see and throws it as far inland as he can lmao
have fun dealing with that one, humans
will see seals or otters stuck in fishermen’s netting and is like!!! i have to help them!!
and his friends are like ?? and get killed?
but he’s already swimming to the net and tearing at the strings
and the fisherman think there’s a monster in the water,,, because they keep pulling up their nets to find all the fish gone, a huge hole ripped in the threads
and what does that,, except for a monster?
but nah its just youngjae, a soft mermaid boy who sings to baby seals and cleans up trash lmao
and you’re doing this fun thing this summer where you get to research the effects of fishing and pollution on beaches! fun!
it’s interesting work, really, and you get to spend a summer at the beach!
so really, there’s no downside
or so you thought,, but your paper isn’t coming along great at the moment
because when you go to the beach to collect pollution from the waters, you hardly find a thing
most of the trash is strewn along the shore
which technically counts, but your supervisor wants pollution from the ocean. as in. from the water. not the sand.
not to mention the disparaging reports from the fishing docks
how the catches are getting hard to come by lately since something keeps ripping holes in their nets
is it a shark?? who knows
whatever it is, it’s hurting your paper!
finally, you decide you’re going to camp out on shore
eventually, you’ll find trash from the water… you’ve just got to wait it out
at the very least, you can pick up some of the trash and make this beach prettier and safer for all the wildlife
so you buy a tent and set it up on the secluded part of the beach, where there aren’t people around to ask what the heck you think you’re doing
you’ve got enough to live off of for a few days- a flashlight, extra batteries, some blankets, some books, a solar charger for your phone, some sunscreen, protein bars, apples, some cans of peaches and pineapples… like, you’re good
and you didn’t think you were going to like it that much, but it’s actually kind of nice to be alone with the ocean
to get away from life for a bit,,, to leave the noise of life behind and fall asleep to the lull of the waves,,,
when suddenly
something hits the side of your tent
you freeze
ok, y/n,,,, this is a law and order episode 
time to get the hell off the beach 
you’re about to climb out of the tent and make a run for it when again comes the noise of something colliding with the side facing the sea 
you see your tent’s wall cave in a bit where it hit 
it was small,,, and obviously not very heavy 
was that,,, a soda can? 
you hear a soft thud on the sand outside your tent
,,,probably just some kids,,,
so you unzip your tent and prepare to step out and rip them a new one, to really give them a piece of your mind 
and when you jump out, you hair flying wildly as you turn towards the ocean, eyes scanning the waves, your mouth is already opening to chastise whoever’s bothering you
and when you see him not far from the shore, you start to go off 
“hey! you’re going to harm the beach...”
wait,,,, wait. 
the boy, about your age,,,, isn’t exactly what you expected 
sure, he’s got an empty beer can lifted above his head and he’s obviously ready to throw, but,,,,,, wait
beneath his dark hair that falls softly over his forehead,,, you see something on his brow bone
something that reflects the dim light of the setting sun 
just,,, like,,, scales 
hahaha,,,,,,,, that’s impossible, y/n
but when you allow your eyes to travel down, to look beneath the crystal clear waves that make this part of the country famous, you’re like,,,, well. humans used to think it was impossible to go to space, too. 
because the boy’s chest dips into a tail. a tail. 
a tail just like the ones you always saw in storybooks- green, with a hint of blue a

“yes, but many humans are trying to help stop pollution and make the oceans healthier!” 
“...ok. you can help”
and he still looks suspicious... and he keeps his distance when you wade into the water... but he gives you a small smile and doesn’t question your motives any further... which is a start

you feel your cheeks flush a bit, so to distract yourself, you grab a can and change the subject “um, so- is it you that’s taking all the trash out of the ocean?”
he nods “it’s just... so annoying” 
ah, that’s why it’s strewn so haphazardly and randomly about the shore
you laugh “i can imagine”
he clears his throat “you said you’re here to clean the water?” 
“yes! i’m doing this research project on how pollution and fishing affect ocean ecosystems-”
“ecosystems?” 
“uh, communities of organisms that share an environment”
he looks a little dumbfounded “oh... ok”
“...anyway, my project supervisor wants us to clean the trash we see out of the ocean. so... i’m a big fan of your work, youngjae” 
finally, you get a real smile 
and it makes your heart melt
who knew such an amazing smile was lying only feet away from dry land? 
and it’s nice, you help him pick all the bits of trash out of the water and then go back to your tent to grab a trash bag to store everything in 
you weigh it down with some rocks and turn back to the ocean to wave goodnight to youngjae
who’s been watching your every move 
because sure, he thought he didn’t like humans
but you care so much for the ocean, pointing out types of algae and seaweed as they float by
and you helped him clean it up!!! that counts for something
and they way you look at him,,, it’s not like those other accidental encounters with humans where they screamed or whipped out their phones and cameras 
you seemed pretty shocked at first, but now... you just talk to him without a second thought
and he’s like,,, maybe,,, i just like one (one!) human
gives you a small, shy wave back 
and then disappears under the waves 
but the whole time he’s away, he’s thinking about you
how you looked with the warm light of the sunset illuminating your skin 
ahh... he’s going crazy 
when he collides with his third sea turtle because he was distracted by thoughts of you, he decides he can’t wait any longer 
he swims back to the shore just as the sun starts to rise and sits on the sand, staring at your small tent 
ahhh,,,, what was he thinking? he should just go back home, back to the corals-
and he’s about to do just that when he hears your tent unzip 
and out pops your head, lines from your pillow etched on the side of your face and your hair quite a bit messier than it was yesterday 
but still,,, cute 
you smile, suppressing a yawn “hey, youngjae” 
he’s glad it’s still a little dark outside,,, you can’t see his ears turn red 
but that small blush is nothing compared to how he feels with you come and sit beside him, your arm brushing his as you look over the waves
“i wanted to wake up to see the sunrise over the ocean” you say, smiling 
“oh... yeah... it’s really pretty”
but lmao he’s not talking about the sunset at all honey he’s talking about YOU
but it’s cute- you tell him about your major and why you decided to study it and do this little research project and he’s so, so fascinated 
he thinks it’s so cool that you’d spend a summer away from home just to help clean up the oceans,,, he’s found his dream person lmao 
and he tells you stories of life underwater
how the baby seals always come and headbutt him for some reason but he still loves them 
how he hates crabs 
that one makes you laugh, so he makes a mental note to tell you some good crab stories later 
because he wants to make you laugh again 
and you make him laugh, too, when you get startled by a piece of seaweed brushing your foot 
and his laugh, open-mouthed and childlike, is the best thing you’ve ever heard 
so is the way he says “ya, really, y/n” when you playfully splash him
like,, your heart is about to burst and it’s all because of mermaid boy
but it becomes a thing to see youngjae at sunrise and sunset 
because after that first sunrise, you decided you wanted to watch all of them with him 
and also sunrise is pretty much the only time there is no one else on the beach for miles 
so it works
and at sunset, you can finally stop working on your project and crack open a can of peaches 
you introduced them to youngjae and he was like,,,, what the hell is this. i love it.
so you go and buy some more during the day so you can share them with him at night 
you also get some of your favorite candies, but decide shark gummies might be touching a nerve lmao
youngjae’s eyes light up each time you bring him something new 
“oh wow! it’s so colorful!”

“wait, you eat this?”
once you brought a fork to help you eat some of your canned peaches and youngjae was like what,,, is that

all these stories of mermaids and humans falling in love,,, and when he looks at you,,,, yeah, he can picture that
digs into the peaches so he doesn’t get flustered 
and it’s so picturesque- him lying in the sand, the sun warming his skin, a little bit of sand in his hair, a can of peaches in his hand 
when he catches you looking at him, he’s always like “is there something on my face?” 
“no... i just like looking at you”
and you blush at the boldness of your words and he does too, but he also smiles and boops your nose with one finger and says “ah, but you’re cuter”
immediately cringes at his own actions and hides his face behind his hands, peeking at you through the cracks in his fingers 
and the way you smile just about makes his heart explode 
but it also makes him sad,,, because you’ve talked about how when the summer’s over, you’re going back to school,,, away from him 
and you see his face kind of fall a bit and you’re like ??? did i do something?? 
“not yet”
and you ask what he means, even though you think you know
he goes “it’s just that i... don’t want you to leave”
you feel your chest ache when you take in the look in his eyes 
the water brushes over your feet as if telling you not to leave,,, and you don’t want to
“i’m... thinking of transferring” you say truthfully “i could continue college here”
“you are?” 
you shrug “it would be nice. i love it down here! and the environmental science program is really good. not to mention i could see the beach every day... and i could see you”
you see the corners of his lips turn upwards at the thought, but he restrains himself “i really want you to do that... but you shouldn’t do it just because of me”
“there’s a million reasons i want to do it, youngjae” 
“oh, well-”
“you just happen to be my favorite one” you say, suddenly placing your hand on the back of his neck and leaning in to plant a kiss on his cheek 
when you pull back, you see his eyes travel down to your lips 
and then you feel his hand, shaking ever so slightly, on your waist 
and then you’re kissing him
softly, tentatively 
like the way a wave brushes against the shore 
he pulls away just a fraction and you think it’s because he’s shy, but then you feel a hand on the side of your face
and his lips are on yours again, kissing you deeper this time 
so perfectly it makes your head spin 
when you finally separate, you can’t help but laugh 
“what is it?” he asks
“it’s just- you’re definitely my favorite reason for transferring”

Watch Out
hello! so this was my first request and i hope that it’s a blast to read. i can’t think of story titles either so here you go, have fun reading mates. also note that i make it seem as if got7 is mean in this but i truly do love them and i think they’d probably be the sweetest guys in the world, i’m just trying to fit what the request said.
plot: the reader is in an acapella group and after their messy first performance, they get trashed talked by their opponent, GOT7. they work hard to prove themselves, what will the outcome be?

October 19
It was one day before the world renown Korean Pop Acapella Festival and the ___ (fill in your group name) had been invited to perform! You were more than ecstatic when one of your fellow group mates had broken the news to you and ever since, the six of you had been practicing your butts off. From perfecting vocalization and harmonization to the whole visual performance itself, you had put your whole hearts into it, especially after you discovered that you would be going against GOT7 another well known and very talented acapella group. You actually looked up to them, Jinyoung being the one the inspired you in the first place to start doing this type of thing on a big scale.
After practicing for another few hours, the clock had hit 10PM and it was decided that that was enough. As you parted ways to your rooms, you couldn’t help but be feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The competition would come in a wave of two rounds: the first one would determine who makes it to the final round, the final one being broadcasted on national television. You had quickly settled down at midnight, smiling as you got into the bed, and fell asleep. Or attempted to fall asleep that is. Turns out you actually tossed and turned for a span of seven hours and when you woke up you felt like a walking zombie.
October 20, Performance Day 1
You trudged yourself around the house, watching your members function like regular human beings as you grabbed anything out to the fridge to consume, hoping it would wake you up. “Hey, good morning Y/N!” Heejin said to you as she sipped from her mug. “Hey, morning” you attempted to say as happily as you could. “Looks like someone didn’t get sleep?” she placed her face in her hands as she looked at you. “Nope, I’m so sorry. I was hoping you that none of you would be able to tell but I guess the eye bags and levels on enthusiasm are really giving away my real state” Heejin laughed, “It’s fine I’m more than sure that you will be much more alive later when we perform! Now, c’mon let’s get ready we have to be out of here at 2PM” She grabbed your hand dragging you to where the other members were already doing their makeup. “But it’s only 7:30AM” you whined. “Yes you’re right but you know Suzy, she takes fifty years to apply just her eyeshadow” You couldn’t help but laugh and you sat down next to Heejin, applying a light layer of makeup. Nothing too intense, your performance today was going to be Shine by PENTAGON so after finishing hair and makeup you slipped on an outfit, mirroring PENTAGON’s look in a more feminine way. As you waited for Suzy, Heejin, Iris, Yuna, and Rena to finish up their looks, you used your phone, singing and practicing your parts. The five finally finished at around noon, what took them so long who knew, but the six of you piled into your car and drove to the venue.
“I am so excited!” Suzy exclaimed from the back seats. ‘I can’t believe that we’re really able to showcase our talents tonight in front of a crowd that actually has our fans.” Iris and Yuna agreed, adding their own comments”Going against GOT7 too? That’s something else don’t you think?” Rena asked. “I think that’s probably the only thing that intimidates me,” you said.”But I’m sure we’re all going to do great tonight!” you reassured and the girls agreed with you, all cheering. After 45 minutes, you finally arrived at the performance center and when you walked in you couldn't help but gasp. It was huge, a grand stage and there were various levels of seats where people would be sitting, watching and cheering for you after you pulled off an amazing performance. It was now only 1PM and rehearsals would start at 1:15PM. ____ (your group name) would be one of the last ones practicing and as the other groups practiced, you zoned out. Maybe you were daydreaming of Jinyoung, just maybe but you were cut off from your thoughts when your group name was called. You ,Suzy, Heejin, Iris, Yuna, and Rena all got into formation as Shine started to play through the speakers. The following three minutes and nineteen seconds went perfectly, no voice cracks, formation and the performance was better than stellar. As the six of you went back behind stage, GOT7 was practicing but you were too busy talking about how great the performance was with Heejin that you didn’t notice. “That was perfect, oh my gosh!” you squealed. “I know! Tonight? We are gonna leave everyone speechless” Heejin said confidently, holding her hand up for a hi-five.You both smiled as you relaxed into your seats, waiting for the show to actually start.
Though the show started at 4PM and there were eighteen different performances, your group being second to last, time had flown by and the next thing being announced was “Welcome to the stage, the ____ (your group name)!!” Deep breaths sounded around you as you and your members walked onto stage. Formation? Set. Were you ready? Yeah! The piano sounds from Shine started to play and the six voices sang together, it sounded beautiful. Everything was going well up until almost the end of the song. You were hitting a high note as the other girls harmonized but out of nowhere, Yuna bumped into you and your high note faltered. You could see the shock on your members faces and also the crowd as you messing up shocked your members so much that they just ceased to sing the rest of the song. The last few seconds were messy and when the six of you posed at the end, you all forced a smile onto your faces, trying to mask the embarrassment. Rushing off the stage, you could not believe what just happened. “Y/N! Y/N! I’m really so sorry, I don’t know what happened or how I got so close to you I bumped into you and I-” she babbled. “Yuna! It’s fine” you sighed out. The girls crowded around, you had worked so hard for this but you knew Yuna didn’t do it on purpose so what could you do? It had already passed.  “I mean, we could still make it to the next round you guys! Don’t get so down, everything else was so good” Suzy tried to lighten the mood. “Yup, exactly and maybe we could play it off as part of our performance” Iris added. “Yeah maybe..” you said.
There was an intermission before the final performance, the one everyone, even you, had been waiting for. It was GOT7! The rest of your members had dispersed going to the bathroom and such and as you waited around for them to come back, GOT7 was right next to you discussing something. You’re no eavesdropper but you just had to listen when you heard your group name slip past their lips. “Haha you’re right JB, the ____ (your group name)? Their performance has to be one of the worst ones I’ve ever seen!” Mark said and laughed, the other members nodding in agreement. “They really couldn’t do zilch, how did they even make it here in the first place?” Bambam added. “And don’t even get me started on that girl who couldn’t hit the high note” Youngjae said. You expected another roar of laughter and agreement from the members but to your surprise it was silent after that comment. You looked at them, bewildered as to why the slander stopped but you saw that they had their heads turned toward a figure, that figure being Heejin, looking at the seven with so much anger in her eyes. “Hey! How about you keep my group name out of your mouth? And you,” she approached Youngjae leaving almost no space between them, “The girl who couldn’t hit a high note? Refrain from talking about her too. Y/N? She and all of us worked just as hard as you to get here. Watch out when we wake it to the next round and win first place and you don’t.” she spat. The boys were left dumbfounded as she walked away. It was then that they realized that they were really trash talking you, and you were right next to them. You had never seen a group of people walk in the other direction so fast after you made eye contact with them. One though, stayed behind. “Um.. Y/N right? I’m so sorry that you had to hear that” you realized then that it was Jinyoung speaking to you. “Don’t be sorry if you were laughing too” you said. “No I swear I didn’t! I actually keep up your group and find you amazing Y/N.” He rested his hands on your shoulders trying to prove his sincerity. “Oh. Thanks, I guess” you replied, not truly believing him. “I feel like you’re going to make it to the next round, don’t stress out about it okay?” he smiled, his eyes crinkling up and maybe you went a little soft for him. “Thanks, but go perform, GOT7 was just called. Good luck as well” He separated his hands from your body and parted to the stage, saying a quick thanks. They had ended up performing an acapella version of You Are and to no surprise, it was great.
It was finally time for the award ceremony and really, you wanted to go home. You wanted to never walk onto that stage again but of course, the members pushed you on with them. You just happened to hide behind all of them. “Today we had such amazing acts, can we have another round of applause for them all?” the MC said into the microphone, followed by a wave of claps and screams cheering on specific groups. “Eighteen groups, but only four will make it into the final round. Who will it be? Let us see!” he switched the card that he was reading from to a new one and continued. “I will start off with announcing second and third place, first place, then fourth place” The groups around me had started holding hands at this point. “Second place goes to!” At this point, everything seemed to be magnified for you and Heejin was tightly gripping your hand. Second place didn’t go to your group, neither did third, and first went to GOT7. You had never heard cheers so loud before until that moment. The seven guys held the trophy smiling as the crowd continued to yell and clap for them. “But wait! We still have yet to announce fourth place” the MC practically yelled into the mic. “Fourth place goes to… ___ (your group name)!!” He pointed at the six of you, shock being the only expression on your faces as you were handed a small trophy. The crowd clapped for you and as Iris held the small trophy up with so much joy, you smiled and cheered as well. “Thank you for coming to our show tonight and catch the winners at nationals on November 4th. Good night!” Everyone shuffled off the stage and you all screamed out of joy when you were out of sight from the crowd. “See Y/N! I told you we could do it, our performance was great!” Suzy engulfed you in a hug, the other girls following. “Well, well. I guess you guys really did make it to the next round. Probably out of pity though” Mark said to us, pouting fakely. “How about you just worry about your own group? You already won first place, feel free to leave us alone” Heejin said back to him. “Hm, will do up until November 4th” he snickered and six of them walked away. Once again, Jinyoung stayed behind. “Hey Y/N. Good job tonight. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys perform again next month” he gave a small smile and before you could reply, he was off. “Looks like someone has a crush of Miss Y/N” Iris singsonged and as pink dusted your cheeks, the other members laughed at you and you left the venue.
“So now that we made it to the next round, what are we gonna do to one up these GOT7 boys?” Heejin asked as you all sat around the house. Millions of ideas were passed around. Iris suggested adding confetti, Yuna saying that playing with fire during the performance would be a show stopper but that idea was quickly shut down. It seemed like you were all getting nowhere but then Rena spoke. “How about we one up GOT7 by performing one of their songs? But we do it better than them”. The thought was pondered on for mere seconds before the six voices said that that was a great idea all in unison. “It’s obvious that they are going to perform Lullaby, I mean it’s their latest song”. Small “mhm’s” and nods resonated throughout the room. “We can’t copy them but each of us can sing in a different language, no? How about we sing Lullaby but we mash it up! English, Korean, Spanish, and Chinese. It’ll show we can appeal to a larger mass” The six of you agreed in unison and from that point on, the next fifteen days were spent doing nonstop practices. Arranging lyrics, the vocalizing, and performance were worked on to the very last detail and you guys even practiced out the worst scenarios and how you would recover from it on stage. You have never felt so prepared in your life and very quickly, the finals arrived.
November 4, The Finals
Hair, makeup, and rehearsals were done by now since it was 3:45PM. You, Suzy, Heejin, Iris, Yuna, and Rena had chosen pastel dresses to wear for the show and honestly, you felt like you were going to steal the show tonight. This time around, the six of you watched attentively as twenty groups performed. You were all trying to look at how to utilize the stage and all before you would have to perform. After the first eighteen had sang their songs, it was finally your turn. You all were ready to walk onto the stage after your group name was called but of course, Mark was there to mockingly cheer you on. “Hey Yuna! This time around maybe don’t throw yourself at Y/N!” She flipped him off before she followed us onto the stage and Lullaby started to play throughout the arena. Genuine smiles graced your faces from start to end, the transitions from one language to the next were so smooth as well as the performance there were no unplanned events this time around. The crowd cheered so loud when the song finished, you could’ve sworn you went deaf and as you all exited the stage and passed GOT7 you took in their expression of shock. It was then finally their turn to go and as Rena predicted, they performed Lullaby. Not nearly on your group’s level but they still got cheers. Finally, it was the moment that really mattered. Who won first place? “Y/N. We did amazing today. I just want to emphasize that” Heejin squeezed your shoulders before she led you and the others onto the stage. The ____ (your group name) were placed right next to GOT7 and shortly after, a female MC walked onto the stage. “Today, our eyes and ears were blessed by these amazing vocal performances. Thank you to the twenty acapella groups on stage right now for working so hard up until this date. Congratulations to all of them!” she said with and claps sounded around the arena. “However as we all know, I am here to announce to you the winners”. There was a thick layer of tension that could be felt at that very moment. “Third place goes to The Starry Night!” (don’t judge the name i am depleted of creativity). They female group was handed a trophy and they smiled as people in the crowd cheered them on. “Second place goes to GOT7!” The crowd gave them the same treatment and as they held their trophy and got their photo taken, you could hear your heart beating so loud, it was in your head now. “And first place goes to a truly amazing act tonight, one that we haven’t ever seen before. Their performance was on another level! Congratulations to the ____ (your group name)!” Screams sounded throughout the enclosed space and as your group basked in the spotlight, the trophy was placed in your hands. A microphone was passed to the six of you and Rena spoke a short and sweet message into the mic, “Thank you so much to all of you who enjoyed our performance and cheered us on! It really means the world to us and we hope that we can do this again for all of you soon!” There was another round of applause and the night ended with the MC thanking everyone for coming out. Behind the stage, GOT7 approached you all. “Hey good job tonight” Yugyeom said. “Thank you very much” Heejin said in reply. “Yeah.. see you next time there’s a competition” Mark awkwardly rubbed his neck and walked away. “The ____ (your group name), the underdogs from the start, made it this far. Look at us!” Suzy exclaimed. The rest of you cheered and hi-fived one another. You all went towards the exit, ready to leave and celebrate your hard work when you felt a tap on your shoulder. “Hm?” you turned around and were met face to face with Jinyoung, something that seemed to happen often now since after you first originally encountered him. “You guys go ahead, I’ll be out in a second” you told your friends and after they left, you turned your attention back to the boy. “I just wanted to congratulate you again, I’m really happy that won the finals because a performance like yours totally deserves it”. You blushed, “Thank you, your performance was really amazing too Jinyoung. “Haha thank you but I’m not here to just congratulate you like I have every other time I talked to you”. Your raised one of your eyebrows, confused as to where he was going with this. “So, you’re here for?” “Well, I’m actually here to ask if maybe you’d want to hang out sometime. I’d love to take someone as talented and beautiful like you out hm.. this upcoming friday?” You pretended to ponder on the offer, you couldn’t expose your crush for him right now. “Hm… I think yes. I’d love to” you smiled at him and you heard him breathe out a sigh of relief. “Okay great! Here’s my number,” he quickly scrawled it out onto a piece of paper he found on a nearby table and put it in your hands. “I look forward to seeing you Friday” he said and winked.

GOT7 - Home Run (Jackson)
Your mysterious signal,

“What the hell happened here?”
y/n stared at the art classroom in horror. The huge banner, the one they had been relentlessly working on for the past week was completely destroyed. There was a huge tear down the middle, caused by an easel falling over on the hung banner and ripping it. The easel had also been holding a container of black paint, which had dripped all over the fallen banner.   It was unsalvageable. “It’s almost like somebody did it on purpose,” one of the girls whispered, her hand covering her mouth. They were all standing stock still, too horrified at the disaster before them, not knowing what to do. Their hard work was crumbling before their eyes. The broken easel, the culprit of the crime, was lying miserably on it’s side on the floor. y/n took a deep breath and tried to cool herself. The other students looked extremely upset, and Mina was on the verge of tears. y/n needed to take charge of the situation and handle things responsibly. Ignoring the horrified looks of her fellow Art club members, she leaned down and picked up the broken easel slowly. “Looks like the easel landed on the banner and caused the damage,” y/n said, trying to stay calm. She stood the easel upright and then ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh. y/n glanced at the other members. “Who was the last one to leave the studio yesterday evening? Wasn’t it you, Mina?” Mina’s eyes widened in horror. Her eyes were glazed over with tears. “Yes, but everything was fine when I left! I promise, unnie, it wasn’t me! I only cleaned up the glitter and hung the banner to dry before locking the room up. I left the key with the janitor like we always do!” “I believe you,” y/n reassured her. She pointed towards the window that was right in front of the easel. It was half-open, and had clearly been open for a while. “We opened the window yesterday afternoon because it was hot, remember? Looks like the wind knocked the easel over. Nobody’s responsible for this.” “What do we do?” one of the other girls whined. “Let’s pick it up, first,” y/n said with a sigh. She waved over Youngjae, one of the few male members of the Art club. “Yah, Youngjae, help me pick it up. Be careful; we don’t need it to tear any more than it already has. Let’s spread it out on the table and see if we can repair the damage. Mina, get the double-sided tape from the supply room.” Youngjae nodded and hurried to grab the fallen banner from the other end. He slowly lifted it, but something rolled out from underneath and hit his foot. He frowned, looking down at it. “What the… noona, somebody left a baseball lying around here. I could have tripped on that!” he whined. y/n frowned as she let the banner down slowly and picked up the baseball. It looked worn-out and used, with grass stains and dirt all over it. She had never seen it before and she stared at it for a long moment as comprehension dawned upon her. y/n looked at the open window calmly. There was only one place this ball could have come from.
………………… One, two strike,
If I lose you then it’s game over

Yugyeom sensed danger. He ran into the boys locker room, baseball cap lopsided on his head. “Hyung, hyung! It’s that scary noona from the Art club. She’s outside and she says she wants to talk to you. I think it’s bad, because Youngjae-hyung is there too, and he made eye contact with me and made this slicing motion against his neck so I think he was trying to tell me-“ Jaebum glanced up and frowned. “What?” he asked, unable to follow the younger boys’ frantic rambling. He dropped his baseball glove on the bench and then stood up, deciding to go see what the matter was for himself. He exited the locker room and found a couple of familiar faces outside. Standing at the front was Kim y/n, the President of the Art Club. “y/n-ssi,” Jaebum greeted her politely. He had heard rumors about Kim y/n’s temper. It was said that she was fiercely protective over her club and it’s members, and that she had once beaten up a guy who had made fun of somebody for being in the Art Club. Those were only rumors, of course, but even Im Jaebum felt a little apprehensive when he saw the dark look in y/n’s eyes. “Um, we’re about to start baseball practice. Is there something I can do for you?” y/n had her arms folded coolly across her chest. “I wish there was. I think the damage is a bit more than you imagined this time, though.” Jaebum blinked. “Huh?” “Is this familiar to you?” She held up the rogue baseball gingerly between two fingers, almost as though she was too disgusted to touch it. y/n dropped it quickly into Jaebum’s outstretched hand and wiped her fingers on her jeans. Jaebum blinked down at the over-used baseball. “Um, probably. To be honest, we have a lot of these. Where did you find this one?” “In our Art club room. Any clue how it could have gotten there?” y/n asked coldly. Jaebum blinked, confused. “I don’t understand. Are you bringing this here because someone stole it, or…?” Yugyeom, who was standing behind Jaebum and had been exchanging glances with Youngjae while the two leaders spoke, poked Jaebum in the back and leaned down to whisper in his ear nervously. “Hyung, it’s not that… yesterday evening… practice… Jackson’s home run… remember?” Jaebum did. Before he could speak, though, they were interrupted by the sound of a slightly high-pitched, loud laugh coming from down the corridor. In a few seconds, Jackson Wang appeared around the corner. He was fully dressed in his baseball gear, cap pulled over his short hair and his baseball bat slung over a shoulder. He waved with a huge grin. “Hyung! Sorry I’m late, that teacher held me back because I skipped her class again and- oh!” Jackson’s smile widened as he noticed their guests. “y/n! What are you doing near the boys’ locker rooms? Hoping to catch me changing?” he asked with a wink. y/n closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her face flushed pink, partly because the idea of catching Jackson Wang changing wasn’t entirely without appeal. But mostly because he always managed to make her flustered. Jackson was loud, funny and charming. It was impossible not to fall for him. But y/n had her dignity, and she refused to bend it, no matter how handsome or charming Jackson Wang was. “Can you not interrupt when people are talking?” she asked him coldly. Jaebum sighed. “Actually, it’s a good thing he’s here. Jackson’s the only one who hit a home run at practice yesterday and we couldn’t find the ball afterwards, so… here’s the ball’s owner,” he explained, giving the ball to Jackson. y/n was unimpressed. “This ball flew in through the Art Club window and completely destroyed the banner that we’ve been working on for the past week. That’s tons of wasted paint, a broken easel, and our priceless hard work down the drain. So I’d like to know who’s going to take responsibility for this.” Jackson frowned. “Really? It did that much damage? But, I mean, it was a pretty awesome hit, went sailing straight through the air until-” “Are you proud of yourself right now?” y/n hissed. “Whoa, hey, I’m sorry. Don’t be like that, y/n,” Jackson said, sounding slightly apologetic. “I mean, I’m really sorry that your work was damaged but it’s not like I intentionally aimed at the art club window or something, it just happened to be a really good swing. Which is expected, since I’m the team’s ace-“ “We’ve been working on that banner all week,” y/n snapped. She had managed to stay calm until then, but the sight of Jackson Wang’s unapologetic face was making her emotions rage. He was taking it so casually and light-heartedly, the way he seemed to take life in general. y/n hated people who couldn’t be serious and take responsibility for their actions. “Do you have any idea what it’s like to pour your heart and soul into a piece of artwork and then have it destroyed in front of you? Of course you don’t, you spend all your time rolling in the mud and swinging uselessly at balls, as if that’s ever helped anybody-“ Jaebum bristled. “I don’t think that’s necessary-“ “A lot of things aren’t necessary. Including, in my opinion, the existence of your useless club,” y/n declared. She snatched the ball out of Jackson’s hands and he jumped slightly as their fingers touched. She held it up in front of their faces. “I’m taking this to the Principal right now and you’ll be lucky if your bloody club ever gets any funds again.” Jackson’s eyes widened. “Wait, what? Don’t do that-“ “See you in hell, Jackson Wang.”

“Drawing again?” y/n stiffened slightly at the sound of Jackson’s voice over her shoulder. He somehow always popped out of nowhere and made her heart skip a beat. She stayed still, hoping that he wouldn’t notice how affected she was by his presence. “Uh… yeah,” she muttered lightly, grabbing an eraser to rub off the little pencil sketch of a baseball she’d made on an empty page. She had been staring out of the window during class and had just begun doodling absent-mindedly. Jackson leaning over and peering at the picture made her feel a little flustered. “It’s just doodles, I couldn’t listen to Mrs. Jung and I was looking at the baseball field, so…” “No, no, don’t erase it!” Jackson insisted with a grin. He grabbed y/n’s hand to prevent her from erasing the little baseball and beamed at her. “I think it’s cute. Can I have it?” y/n rolled her eyes and tried not to look embarrassed. “Why?” “Cause it’s a baseball and I play baseball,” he replied simply, as he cleanly ripped the page out of her notebook. “Like I said, it’s cute. You’re good at drawing.” y/n scoffed. “I’m the President of the Art Club, of course I’m good at drawing-“ “I saw you scribbling serious during class so I thought you were actually taking notes during Mrs. Jung’s lecture. I came to ask to borrow them, but,” Jackson held up the paper with her drawing and chuckled. “This is even better, eh? Nice to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t pay attention in class.” “I do pay attention!” y/n protested. “Yeah, right. So do you have any plans next weekend?” He asked eagerly, placing his elbows on her table and leaning down close to her. y/n had to blink and lean back at his sudden proximity. She could only hope that her face hadn’t flushed red. “Why?” she asked warily. “Because it’s our first game of the season,” Jackson replied with a grin, gesturing to his worn-out baseball cap. “It’s a home game! You should come and cheer us on, it’ll be fun!” y/n flushed. “I don’t know anything about baseball-“ “Come on. You just drew a perfect baseball from imagination, I’m sure you’re not that clueless. Why don’t you come? Bring your friends? Please?” Jackson pouted slightly. When y/n merely shot him a disinterested look, he leaned back and sighed. His bright face fell. “Yeah, okay, I get it. You don’t want to come.” “Don’t act so upset, you’ll have plenty of people to cheer you on.” “You’d think, huh? It’s not like that, though. It’s been a couple of years since the baseball team won anything, so nobody bothers to come to our games anymore. Everyone’s hyped about the football matches. They’re the ones who bring home trophies.” “Well, I won’t be going to either, so you can rest in peace,” y/n reassured him dully. Jackson blinked down at her for a few seconds and then chuckled. “Yeah, okay. Fair enough. I still wish you would come if you have nothing better to do, though. It’s always been my dream to have a girlfriend come to my games, wear my jersey and cheer for me as I hit a home run.” y/n closed her notebook and started to stuff it into her bag as she stood up. “I have to go to my Art club meeting. I pity the girl that has to put on your stinky jersey, Wang.” Jackson laughed as he watched y/n exit the classroom, before carefully tucking the paper with her baseball drawing into his uniform pocket.

They couldn’t fix the banner. After spending about an hour trying to put it back together and cover the splotches of paint, most of the Art Club members agreed that it was hopeless. Even though they’d managed to make it one piece again, it still looked awful and was a complete mess. y/n kneeled on the floor next to the banner, staring at the ruined thing miserably. Her hair was a mess and her hands covered in paint from trying to paint over the ruined areas. “Mina- listen, hand me that white paint there, we can paint over this part and-“ Mina looked down at y/n sadly and shook her head. “Unnie… leave it. It’s hopeless. Youngjae’s great at fixing messes and even he said that it’s never going to look the same again. Everyone’s gone home.” y/n glanced back and noticed that most of the Art Club members had indeed left for home once it was clear that the banner couldn’t be fixed. She sighed and pushed her hair out of her face with the back of her hand. She just couldn’t leave the banner like this. They’d worked so hard on it. She glanced up at Mina with a forced smile. “Sorry, Mina. I’m keeping you back, right? Why don’t you go home, too? We’ll have a meeting tomorrow and discuss ideas for a new project.” Mina blinked. “Will you leave with me?” “I’ll stay here a bit longer and see what I can salvage,” y/n replied. “Maybe we can re-use some of the untouched parts in the future? You go ahead, I’ll lock up once I’m done. Go home safely!” Mina nodded and left the room reluctantly after gathering her things. The room was plunged into silence and y/n sighed, looking down at the banner again. Tears were brimming at the edge of her eyes. It was the first time that something she’d put so much work into had been destroyed so effortlessly. She noticed the dimming sky and stood up to switch on the lights in the classroom. Then she stretched and cracked her knuckles. Some parts of the borders and the drawings in the corners were unaffected. If she cut these off, they could at least re-use them for a future project. y/n had lost track of time. It wasn’t until the door to the classroom creaked open that she straightened up and realized her back was aching. She whirled around and spotted Jackson Wang standing hesitantly at the door. He was still in his baseball gear, only more dirty and grass stained than before. He was fiddling with his baseball cap in his hands. “Hey…” Jackson said hesitantly, clearing his throat and stepping into the classroom. “Are you busy?” y/n felt her stomach twist. She turned away from him and back to the banner. “Yes, I’m still trying to fix the mess you made with your oh-so-awesome home run. How hard did you hit the goddamn ball anyway?” she grumbled, as she continued to snip away at the banner with her scissors. “I came to apologize for that. It was genuinely an accident, but it caused you guys a lot of trouble and I can’t imagine how much work you must have put into the-“ he trailed off, looking at the destroyed banner that y/n was snipping at. “Is that a sketch of a baseball?” y/n froze. “It was.” “That’s a bat. And a glove over there. And that’s our team’s mascot. Hold on, move aside so I can read what it says,” Jackson insisted, rushing over to kneel beside y/n and reading out the huge slogan that had been beautifully written on the banner. “Oh my God, this banner is for the baseball team? Really?” y/n felt her cheeks flush red and she continued snipping. She avoided Jackson’s exited gaze. She already knew the sort of shit-eating expression that he would have on his face and she didn’t want to see it. “I told you, it was a banner for the baseball team. It’s unsalvageable. I’m taking it apart now, no thanks to you,” she mumbled. “You’ve spent the past week making a banner for the baseball team?” y/n put the scissors down and glared at him. “Can you stop repeating that like it’s something shocking, I-“ She was cut off, by Jackson Wang wrapping his arms around her tightly. y/n froze in shock. He smelled like dirt from the baseball field and deodorant. Yet, there was something about his strong arms wrapped around her tightly and his cheek pressing into her hair softly that made her head spin. Jackson was warm and his arms were extremely comforting. y/n found her face pressed into the shoulder of his baseball jersey and she was still as his arms held her tightly. “Thank you,” he muttered into her hair. y/n felt her heartbeat thump. She jolted back to her senses and pushed him away lightly, trying to hide her blush. “Get off me, you smell like dirt.” “Yeah? I landed in a bit of a mudpile trying to catch the ball earlier. Should probably have showered first, huh?” he asked sheepishly, letting go of her and running his hands through his hair with a hesitant chuckle. y/n looked up at him calmly. It was one of the rare moments he wasn’t wearing a baseball cap and she could see his angular face clearly. Jackson smiled. “I had no idea you were making a banner for us. You said you wouldn’t even come to the game.” y/n flushed. “I wasn’t-“ “And you didn’t go the Principal about the ball, right? I mean, Youngjae told me you hadn’t, but the others insisted I find out and apologize anyway. I didn’t think you would complain about us. I told Jaebum not to worry about it.” “You shouldn’t be so sure. I almost did go to the Principal.” “You wouldn’t. You know that the baseball team is having a hard time, that’s why you made this banner to cheer us on in the first place. You wouldn’t have made things worse for us,” Jackson replied confidently. He gave her a small smile. “You’re not that kind of a person, y/n.” “And how would you know-“ “Because I like you.” y/n stared at him, her eyes wide at his sudden confession. Did he just? Jackson was grinning his usual wide grin, but it looked a little embarrassed now. He ran his fingers through his hair again and blinked. “Sorry. That was kind of abrupt, right?” he laughed nervously, his voice a little high. “I wasn’t going to tell you, but seeing the banner you made for me gave me a sudden boost of confidence, I guess?” y/n’s heartbeat was thumping as Jackson smiled at her. She felt suddenly exposed, and tried to defend herself. “It wasn’t for you, it was for the whole-“ “I’m honestly really, really sorry about ruining the banner. I never meant to,” he apologized, cutting her off. He was suddenly digging into his backpack and y/n watched him silently. He pulled out a folded jersey and handed it to her quickly. “It’s my spare jersey. Since you don’t have the banner anymore, you can use it to support me on Saturday, instead?” he offered hopefully. y/n stared down at the jersey. Her head was spinning. “Uh…” “I mean, you don’t have to.” Jackson dug into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper with a grin, waving it in front of her. “I still keep the baseball drawing you made in class as a good luck charm. But it would be cooler to have you come in person. So please come?” y/n blinked. “Y-yeah-“ “Great! I have to get back to practice or Jaebum will kick my ass, I just told him I was going to the bathroom. I’ll see you around,” he insisted, getting up. Jackson turned to leave but then glanced back at the destroyed banner on the floor. “Actually, do you mind if I take a picture of that?” y/n glanced at it. “T-the banner?” “Yeah. Before you throw it away. You put so much effort into it that we should remember it somehow,” he pointed out. Jackson fished his phone out of his pocket and clicked a quick picture of the banner before grinning at y/n. “Done. Thanks. Bye!” y/n waved goodbye at him silently as he hurried out of the classroom. She could heard Jackson’s thudding footsteps fading away for a few seconds afterwards, as her head spun.

y/n couldn’t help but cheer as the final score revealed that Jackson’s team had won. Frankly, she hadn’t understood most of the first half and had to make Youngjae sit next to her so he could explain the rules of the game. But by the second half, y/n was cheering just as loudly as the next person and waving her arms in the air wildly. She had nearly put her throat out when Jackson hit a home run. She could swear he had turned to look at her in the stands and shot a wink in her direction.
“Hyung! Hyung! Congratulations, it was awesome!” Youngjae cheered loudly, as the Art club members approached the tired but ecstatic baseball team after the game. He went over to congratulate Jaebum and Jinyoung. y/n stood still, having made eye contact with Jackson. He was carrying his helmet in one hand but he ran over to her with a grin. “You came!” Jackson beamed. “I did. Congratulations. I kind of enjoyed myself, surprisingly. Might have been cooler with the banner, though,” She said lightly. “You saw my home run, right? I saw you cheering in the stands,” Jackson pressed with a grin. He looked down at y/n and his face fell slightly. “But you’re not wearing my jersey, huh? Now I’m kind of embarrassed,” he admitted, his voice going quiet. “It smelled weird.” “Oh.” “Yeah, I washed it a couple of times but that weird dirt and grass smell wouldn’t go away, I just couldn’t wear it. So I kind of made my own,” y/n explained. Her cheeks turned red as she turned around. She moved her hair on shoulder to reveal the backside of her slightly baggy t-shirt; she had painted Jackson’s name and number onto the back. It looked almost professional. “Not bad, right?” she asked, lightly. Jackson wrapped his arms around her from behind, tightly. y/n stiffened slightly in the backhug, but then slowly let herself relax into his comforting grip. His grip on her waist tightened as his head came over her shoulder. “I love it,” he whispered into her ear softly, before pressing his lips to her cheek. He grinned and breathed out, “It’s better than my jersey.” y/n felt her face flush. “I mean, it doesn’t smell as bad, so…” “Hmm.” “Do you plan to let go anytime soon?” she asked, suddenly aware that some of the baseball team and art club members were staring and giggling at them. “People are staring and it’s kind of awkward. Jackson. Let go. At least let me turn around so I can see you-“ Jackson hummed lightly. “I’ll let you go for two seconds if you promise that all you’ll do is turn around.” “I promise. I just want to hug you properly.” He beamed and removed his arms from around her. y/n turned and smiled at him, but then quickly slid out of his grasp completely and darted away. She laughed as she jogged away from him and out of reach. Jackson stared after her, a betrayed expression on his face. “You promised!” he whined, letting his arms fall to his sides. “That’s revenge for destroying my banner, Jackson Wang!”

A/N: I got another request for a Hybrid au! this time, it’s the reader as the hybrid. I’m going to make the reader female, as it wasn’t stated wither it was a male perspective or female. Anyway, enjoy!
Homeless:
     You sigh as you lay on the bench at the park. You watch your tail twitch in the air. It’s been two days since you were kicked out of your last house. Being a very rare cat-hybrid, it’s hard to find a family that is willing to work with you on what you need. The only thing they care about is the appearance. You were considered a luxury for the humans. If you were living with them or a “part of the family”, they were looked at as, well, wealthy, to say the least. 
     The family that had you before didn’t know how much effort it took to . So, they kicked you out. Human-cat hybrids need all the essentials of humans, as well as cats. Considering you were also female, that makes it ten times worse.
     You close your eyes and fiddle with your ear. You breathe in and out slowly, trying to calm your heartrate. Thinking about that last family really makes you antsy. ‘Now what am I going to do?’ You sigh to yourself.
     “JB, look over there!”
     You’re eyes shoot open and you sit up. You look around for the voice you just heard. Your vision stops on a group of seven boys, all staring at you. The cat part of you heeds the warning of your inner instincts, telling you to run. But the human girl part of you tells you to stay and talk to the seven very very cute boys.
     One of them approaches you slowly. You’re tail twitches and ears flatten as a warning. As the get closer you move further back.
     “H-Hey, it’s okay. I’m not going to hurt you.” The male human puts his hands up to show he’s harmless.
     You narrow your golden eyes at him. “W-What do you want?”
     He relaxes slightly now that you’re talking to him. “My friends and I were just curious. We’ve never seen a cat-hybrid before.”
     You’re tail twitches in annoyance. “I-I’m not something to be gawked at. I’m still human, you know.” You mumble, looking down.
     He shakes his head quickly. “N-No! it’s not like that, I promise. I’m sorry if it seemed like it. My name is Youngjae. It’s nice to meet you...”
     “Y/N. T-That’s my name.” You fiddle with your cat ears. It’s a bad habit you do when you’re anxious.
     The human male’s eyes light up at your response. “I-If you’re okay with it, my friends would like to meet you.”
     You nod slowly, looking behind the boy at his friends, who are all still staring. “I-I guess that’s alright.”
     Youngjae smiles. “I’ll be right back!” He runs to his friends and talks to them. They all nod and smile.
     You watched as the rest of the boys approach you. One of them comes at you a little too quickly, making you jump and hiss. He slows down, putting his hands up in defense just like Youngjae did the first time.
     “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to frighten you. My name is Jackson.” He smiles a cute smile, trying to show he’s harmless.
     You hide your K9′s once again and cross your legs on the bench. “Ah, sorry. It’s a natural reaction.”
     Jackson smiles at you. “No, it’s my fault. I’m sorry for running at you. I was just excited to meet you.”
     Just then, the rest of the boys come up one by one, introducing themselves. Mark, Bambam, Yugyeom and Jinyoung say hi and that they are happy to meet you. You smile at each one of them.
     The last boy tilts his head, just staring at you intently. Normally, you’d be pretty weirded out by this. But, for some reason, your cat instincts draw you to this human male.
     You stand up slowly, your tail flickering behind you. You stalk up to the boy and tilt your head. His eyes widen at the closeness. You’re nose twitches cutely, making him blush. “Who are you?”
     “I-I’m Jaebum. But you can call me JB.” He speaks quietly, looking into your eyes. “Wow. You’re eyes are really pretty.”
     You’re face blushes a deep red and you reach up to fiddle with your ears. “O-oh! Um, thank you.”
     “Oooooo looks like JB attracts human kitties as well as actually kitties.” Bambam chuckles.
     JB shoots him a daring glare, but his reddened face gave himself away.
     You giggle at the reaction. “I don’t know what it is about you, but my instincts tell me that I can trust you.”
     JB gives you a small smile and holds out his hand. “C-Can I touch your ears?”
     You nod and lower your head. He reaches up to touch your soft cat ears. Lucky for him, he finds your sweet spot, making you purr. His smile brightens and watches as you close your eyes in pleasure. Once he stops, you look at him and smile.
     “So, was it everything you imagined it to be?”
     “Haha, it was something else.” He hums happily.
     Mark walks up to you and takes your hand in his. “So, we were wondering if you wanted to come back home with us?”
     Your eyes widen and you take a step back, making the boys frown. You look down, rubbing your arm. “I-I don’t know if that’s such a good idea. No family really wants to deal with a hybrid like me. They try to adopt me just so they can look good. But once they find out what they’re dealing with, then they abandon me. I don’t want to have to go through that again.”
     Just then you feel a hand hold yours. You look up to see JB right in front of you, looking concerned. “We’re not ones to abandon family, no matter the struggle. We’re teenage boys, for crying out loud. Nobody can handle us either.”
     You giggle as you imagine a bunch of rambunctious human boys destroying a home in the name of fun. “A-Are you sure you want someone like me?”
     Yugyeom nods and gives you a wink. “We do. it’s kinda boring around the house with a crap ton of males everywhere.”
     Jinyoung chuckles in agreement. “We would love to have you stay with us. Not only because we need to widen our house-mates, but because we don’t like seeing anyone homeless. Human or otherwise.”
     Your eyes widen as you look around at the boys. Tears well up in your eyes. “Really? You want to adopt me?”
     JB wipes away your tears from your cheeks. “Yes. We do.”
     You squeal in joy and hug the human male tightly, to his surprise. You pull back and twitch your nose. A huge smile appears on his face. “Y/N, you’re so cute!”
     Mark chuckles. “Leave it to a cat-girl to make JB act cute for once.”
     The rest of the boys laugh as JB glares at them. You giggle too, finally happy that you’ve found a home you can call your own.
     ‘And a very cute human boy to share it with.’

HOME RUN
In which Jackson Wang is a baseball player and his home run goes crashing through the wrong (or right) window.

I don’t know where this will go,

“What the hell happened here?”
Soo-Ah stared at the art classroom in horror. The huge banner, the one they had been relentlessly working on for the past week was completely destroyed. There was a huge tear down the middle, caused by an easel falling over on the hung banner and ripping it. The easel had also been holding a container of black paint, which had dripped all over the fallen banner.  
It was unsalvageable.
“It’s almost like somebody did it on purpose,” one of the girls whispered, her hand covering her mouth. They were all standing stock still, too horrified at the disaster before them, not knowing what to do. Their hard work was crumbling before their eyes. The broken easel, the culprit of the crime, was lying miserably on it’s side on the floor.
Soo-Ah took a deep breath and tried to cool herself. The other students looked extremely upset, and Mina was on the verge of tears. Soo-ah needed to take charge of the situation and handle things responsibly. Ignoring the horrified looks of her fellow Art club members, she leaned down and picked up the broken easel slowly.
“Looks like the easel landed on the banner and caused the damage,” Soo-Ah said, trying to stay calm. She stood the easel upright and then ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh. Soo-Ah glanced at the other members. “Who was the last one to leave the studio yesterday evening? Wasn’t it you, Mina?”
Mina’s eyes widened in horror. Her eyes were glazed over with tears. “Yes, but everything was fine when I left! I promise, unnie, it wasn’t me! I only cleaned up the glitter and hung the banner to dry before locking the room up. I left the key with the janitor like we always do!”
“I believe you,” Soo-Ah reassured her. She pointed towards the window that was right in front of the easel. It was half-open, and had clearly been open for a while. “We opened the window yesterday afternoon because it was hot, remember? Looks like the wind knocked the easel over. Nobody’s responsible for this.”
“What do we do?” one of the other girls whined.
“Let’s pick it up, first,” Soo-Ah said with a sigh. She waved over Youngjae, one of the few male members of the Art club. “Yah, Youngjae, help me pick it up. Be careful; we don’t need it to tear any more than it already has. Let’s spread it out on the table and see if we can repair the damage. Mina, get the double-sided tape from the supply room.”
Youngjae nodded and hurried to grab the fallen banner from the other end. He slowly lifted it, but something rolled out from underneath and hit his foot. He frowned, looking down at it. “What the… noona, somebody left a baseball lying around here. I could have tripped on that!” he whined.
Soo-ah frowned as she let the banner down slowly and picked up the baseball. It looked worn-out and used, with grass stains and dirt all over it. She had never seen it before and she stared at it for a long moment as comprehension dawned upon her.
Soo-ah looked at the open window calmly. There was only one place this ball could have come from.

Yugyeom sensed danger.
He ran into the boys locker room, baseball cap lopsided on his head. “Hyung, hyung! It’s that scary noona from the Art club. She’s outside and she says she wants to talk to you. I think it’s bad, because Youngjae-hyung is there too, and he made eye contact with me and made this slicing motion against his neck so I think he was trying to tell me-“
Jaebum glanced up and frowned. “What?” he asked, unable to follow the younger boys’ frantic rambling. He dropped his baseball glove on the bench and then stood up, deciding to go see what the matter was for himself. He exited the locker room and found a couple of familiar faces outside. Standing at the front was Kim Soo-Ah, the President of the Art Club.
“Soo-Ah-ssi,” Jaebum greeted her politely. He had heard rumors about Kim Soo-Ah’s temper. It was said that she was fiercely protective over her club and it’s members, and that she had once beaten up a guy who had made fun of somebody for being in the Art Club. Those were only rumors, of course, but even Im Jaebum felt a little apprehensive when he saw the dark look in Soo-Ah’s eyes. “Um, we’re about to start baseball practice. Is there something I can do for you?”
Soo-Ah had her arms folded coolly across her chest. “I wish there was. I think the damage is a bit more than you imagined this time, though.”
Jaebum blinked. “Huh?”
“Is this familiar to you?”
She held up the rogue baseball gingerly between two fingers, almost as though she was too disgusted to touch it. Soo-Ah dropped it quickly into Jaebum’s outstretched hand and wiped her fingers on her jeans.
Jaebum blinked down at the over-used baseball. “Um, probably. To be honest, we have a lot of these. Where did you find this one?”
“In our Art club room. Any clue how it could have gotten there?” Soo-Ah asked coldly.
Jaebum blinked, confused. “I don’t understand. Are you bringing this here because someone stole it, or…?”
Yugyeom, who was standing behind Jaebum and had been exchanging glances with Youngjae while the two leaders spoke, poked Jaebum in the back and leaned down to whisper in his ear nervously. “Hyung, it’s not that… yesterday evening… practice… Jackson’s home run… remember?”
Jaebum did. Before he could speak, though, they were interrupted by the sound of a slightly high-pitched, loud laugh coming from down the corridor. In a few seconds, Jackson Wang appeared around the corner. He was fully dressed in his baseball gear, cap pulled over his short hair and his baseball bat slung over a shoulder. He waved with a huge grin.
“Hyung! Sorry I’m late, that teacher held me back because I skipped her class again and- oh!” Jackson’s smile widened as he noticed their guests. “Soo-Ah! What are you doing near the boys’ locker rooms? Hoping to catch me changing?” he asked with a wink.
Soo-Ah closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Her face flushed pink, partly because the idea of catching Jackson Wang changing wasn’t entirely without appeal. But mostly because he always managed to make her flustered. Jackson was loud, funny and charming. It was impossible not to fall for him. But Soo-ah had her dignity, and she refused to bend it, no matter how handsome or charming Jackson Wang was.
“Can you not interrupt when people are talking?” she asked him coldly.
Jaebum sighed. “Actually, it’s a good thing he’s here. Jackson’s the only one who hit a home run at practice yesterday and we couldn’t find the ball afterwards, so… here’s the ball’s owner,” he explained, giving the ball to Jackson.
Soo-Ah was unimpressed. “This ball flew in through the Art Club window and completely destroyed the banner that we’ve been working on for the past week. That’s tons of wasted paint, a broken easel, and our priceless hard work down the drain. So I’d like to know who’s going to take responsibility for this.”
Jackson frowned. “Really? It did that much damage? But, I mean, it was a pretty awesome hit, went sailing straight through the air until-”
“Are you proud of yourself right now?” Soo-Ah hissed.
“Whoa, hey, I’m sorry. Don’t be like that, Soo-Ah,” Jackson said, sounding slightly apologetic. “I mean, I’m really sorry that your work was damaged but it’s not like I intentionally aimed at the art club window or something, it just happened to be a really good swing. Which is expected, since I’m the team’s ace-“
“We’ve been working on that banner all week,” Soo-Ah snapped. She had managed to stay calm until then, but the sight of Jackson Wang’s unapologetic face was making her emotions rage. He was taking it so casually and light-heartedly, the way he seemed to take life in general. Soo-Ah hated people who couldn’t be serious and take responsibility for their actions. “Do you have any idea what it’s like to pour your heart and soul into a piece of artwork and then have it destroyed in front of you? Of course you don’t, you spend all your time rolling in the mud and swinging uselessly at balls, as if that’s ever helped anybody-“
Jaebum bristled. “I don’t think that’s necessary-“
“A lot of things aren’t necessary. Including, in my opinion, the existence of your useless club,” Soo-Ah declared. She snatched the ball out of Jackson’s hands and he jumped slightly as their fingers touched. She held it up in front of their faces. “I’m taking this to the Principal right now and you’ll be lucky if your bloody club ever gets any funds again.”
Jackson’s eyes widened. “Wait, what? Don’t do that-“
“See you in hell, Jackson Wang.”

“Drawing again?”
Soo-Ah stiffened slightly at the sound of Jackson’s voice over her shoulder. He somehow always popped out of nowhere and made her heart skip a beat. She stayed still, hoping that he wouldn’t notice how affected she was by his presence.
“Uh… yeah,” she muttered lightly, grabbing an eraser to rub off the little pencil sketch of a baseball she’d made on an empty page. She had been staring out of the window during class and had just begun doodling absent-mindedly. Jackson leaning over and peering at the picture made her feel a little flustered. “It’s just doodles, I couldn’t listen to Mrs. Jung and I was looking at the baseball field, so…”
“No, no, don’t erase it!” Jackson insisted with a grin. He grabbed Soo-Ah’s hand to prevent her from erasing the little baseball and beamed at her. “I think it’s cute. Can I have it?”
Soo-Ah rolled her eyes and tried not to look embarrassed. “Why?”
“Cause it’s a baseball and I play baseball,” he replied simply, as he cleanly ripped the page out of her notebook. “Like I said, it’s cute. You’re good at drawing.”
Soo-Ah scoffed. “I’m the President of the Art Club, of course I’m good at drawing-“
“I saw you scribbling serious during class so I thought you were actually taking notes during Mrs. Jung’s lecture. I came to ask to borrow them, but,” Jackson held up the paper with her drawing and chuckled. “This is even better, eh? Nice to know I’m not the only one who doesn’t pay attention in class.”
“I do pay attention!” Soo-Ah protested.
“Yeah, right. So do you have any plans next weekend?” He asked eagerly, placing his elbows on her table and leaning down close to her. Soo-Ah had to blink and lean back at his sudden proximity. She could only hope that her face hadn’t flushed red.
“Why?” she asked warily.
“Because it’s our first game of the season,” Jackson replied with a grin, gesturing to his worn-out baseball cap. “It’s a home game! You should come and cheer us on, it’ll be fun!”
Soo-Ah flushed. “I don’t know anything about baseball-“
“Come on. You just drew a perfect baseball from imagination, I’m sure you’re not that clueless. Why don’t you come? Bring your friends? Please?” Jackson pouted slightly. When Soo-Ah merely shot him a disinterested look, he leaned back and sighed. His bright face fell. “Yeah, okay, I get it. You don’t want to come.”
“Don’t act so upset, you’ll have plenty of people to cheer you on.”
“You’d think, huh? It’s not like that, though. It’s been a couple of years since the baseball team won anything, so nobody bothers to come to our games anymore. Everyone’s hyped about the football matches. They’re the ones who bring home trophies.”
“Well, I won’t be going to either, so you can rest in peace,” Soo-Ah reassured him dully.
Jackson blinked down at her for a few seconds and then chuckled. “Yeah, okay. Fair enough. I still wish you would come if you have nothing better to do, though. It’s always been my dream to have a girlfriend come to my games, wear my jersey and cheer for me as I hit a home run.”
Soo-Ah closed her notebook and started to stuff it into her bag as she stood up. “I have to go to my Art club meeting. I pity the girl that has to put on your stinky jersey, Wang.”
Jackson laughed as he watched Soo-Ah exit the classroom, before carefully tucking the paper with her baseball drawing into his uniform pocket.

They couldn’t fix the banner.
After spending about an hour trying to put it back together and cover the splotches of paint, most of the Art Club members agreed that it was hopeless. Even though they’d managed to make it one piece again, it still looked awful and was a complete mess. Soo-Ah kneeled on the floor next to the banner, staring at the ruined thing miserably. Her hair was a mess and her hands covered in paint from trying to paint over the ruined areas.
“Mina- listen, hand me that white paint there, we can paint over this part and-“
Mina looked down at Soo-Ah sadly and shook her head. “Unnie… leave it. It’s hopeless. Youngjae’s great at fixing messes and even he said that it’s never going to look the same again. Everyone’s gone home.”
Soo-Ah glanced back and noticed that most of the Art Club members had indeed left for home once it was clear that the banner couldn’t be fixed. She sighed and pushed her hair out of her face with the back of her hand. She just couldn’t leave the banner like this. They’d worked so hard on it. She glanced up at Mina with a forced smile. “Sorry, Mina. I’m keeping you back, right? Why don’t you go home, too? We’ll have a meeting tomorrow and discuss ideas for a new project.”
Mina blinked. “Will you leave with me?”
“I’ll stay here a bit longer and see what I can salvage,” Soo-Ah replied. “Maybe we can re-use some of the untouched parts in the future? You go ahead, I’ll lock up once I’m done. Go home safely!”
Mina nodded and left the room reluctantly after gathering her things. The room was plunged into silence and Soo-Ah sighed, looking down at the banner again. Tears were brimming at the edge of her eyes. It was the first time that something she’d put so much work into had been destroyed so effortlessly. She noticed the dimming sky and stood up to switch on the lights in the classroom. Then she stretched and cracked her knuckles. Some parts of the borders and the drawings in the corners were unaffected. If she cut these off, they could at least re-use them for a future project.
Soo-Ah had lost track of time. It wasn’t until the door to the classroom creaked open that she straightened up and realized her back was aching. She whirled around and spotted Jackson Wang standing hesitantly at the door. He was still in his baseball gear, only more dirty and grass stained than before. He was fiddling with his baseball cap in his hands.
“Hey…” Jackson said hesitantly, clearing his throat and stepping into the classroom. “Are you busy?”
Soo-Ah felt her stomach twist. She turned away from him and back to the banner. “Yes, I’m still trying to fix the mess you made with your oh-so-awesome home run. How hard did you hit the goddamn ball anyway?” she grumbled, as she continued to snip away at the banner with her scissors.
“I came to apologize for that. It was genuinely an accident, but it caused you guys a lot of trouble and I can’t imagine how much work you must have put into the-“ he trailed off, looking at the destroyed banner that Soo-Ah was snipping at. “Is that a sketch of a baseball?”
Soo-Ah froze. “It was.”
“That’s a bat. And a glove over there. And that’s our team’s mascot. Hold on, move aside so I can read what it says,” Jackson insisted, rushing over to kneel beside Soo-Ah and reading out the huge slogan that had been beautifully written on the banner. “Oh my God, this banner is for the baseball team? Really?”
Soo-Ah felt her cheeks flush red and she continued snipping. She avoided Jackson’s exited gaze. She already knew the sort of shit-eating expression that he would have on his face and she didn’t want to see it. “I told you, it was a banner for the baseball team. It’s unsalvageable. I’m taking it apart now, no thanks to you,” she mumbled.
“You’ve spent the past week making a banner for the baseball team?”
Soo-Ah put the scissors down and glared at him. “Can you stop repeating that like it’s something shocking, I-“
She was cut off, by Jackson Wang wrapping his arms around her tightly. Soo-Ah froze in shock. He smelled like dirt from the baseball field and deodorant. Yet, there was something about his strong arms wrapped around her tightly and his cheek pressing into her hair softly that made her head spin. Jackson was warm and his arms were extremely comforting. Soo-Ah found her face pressed into the shoulder of his baseball jersey and she was still as his arms held her tightly.
“Thank you,” he muttered into her hair.
Soo-Ah felt her heartbeat thump. She jolted back to her senses and pushed him away lightly, trying to hide her blush. “Get off me, you smell like dirt.”
“Yeah? I landed in a bit of a mudpile trying to catch the ball earlier. Should probably have showered first, huh?” he asked sheepishly, letting go of her and running his hands through his hair with a hesitant chuckle. Soo-Ah looked up at him calmly. It was one of the rare moments he wasn’t wearing a baseball cap and she could see his angular face clearly. Jackson smiled. “I had no idea you were making a banner for us. You said you wouldn’t even come to the game.”
Soo-Ah flushed. “I wasn’t-“
“And you didn’t go the Principal about the ball, right? I mean, Youngjae told me you hadn’t, but the others insisted I find out and apologize anyway. I didn’t think you would complain about us. I told Jaebum not to worry about it.”
“You shouldn’t be so sure. I almost did go to the Principal.”
“You wouldn’t. You know that the baseball team is having a hard time, that’s why you made this banner to cheer us on in the first place. You wouldn’t have made things worse for us,” Jackson replied confidently. He gave her a small smile. “You’re not that kind of a person, Soo-Ah.”
“And how would you know-“
“Because I like you.”
Soo-Ah stared at him, her eyes wide at his sudden confession. Did he just? Jackson was grinning his usual wide grin, but it looked a little embarrassed now. He ran his fingers through his hair again and blinked. “Sorry. That was kind of abrupt, right?” he laughed nervously, his voice a little high. “I wasn’t going to tell you, but seeing the banner you made for me gave me a sudden boost of confidence, I guess?”
Soo-Ah’s heartbeat was thumping as Jackson smiled at her. She felt suddenly exposed, and tried to defend herself. “It wasn’t for you, it was for the whole-“
“I’m honestly really, really sorry about ruining the banner. I never meant to,” he apologized, cutting her off. He was suddenly digging into his backpack and Soo-Ah watched him silently. He pulled out a folded jersey and handed it to her quickly. “It’s my spare jersey. Since you don’t have the banner anymore, you can use it to support me on Saturday, instead?” he offered hopefully.
Soo-Ah stared down at the jersey. Her head was spinning. “Uh…”
“I mean, you don’t have to.” Jackson dug into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper with a grin, waving it in front of her. “I still keep the baseball drawing you made in class as a good luck charm. But it would be cooler to have you come in person. So please come?”
Soo-Ah blinked. “Y-yeah-“
“Great! I have to get back to practice or Jaebum will kick my ass, I just told him I was going to the bathroom. I’ll see you around,” he insisted, getting up. Jackson turned to leave but then glanced back at the destroyed banner on the floor. “Actually, do you mind if I take a picture of that?”
Soo-Ah glanced at it. “T-the banner?”
“Yeah. Before you throw it away. You put so much effort into it that we should remember it somehow,” he pointed out. Jackson fished his phone out of his pocket and clicked a quick picture of the banner before grinning at Soo-Ah. “Done. Thanks. Bye!”
Soo-Ah waved goodbye at him silently as he hurried out of the classroom. She could heard Jackson’s thudding footsteps fading away for a few seconds afterwards, as her head spun.

Epilogue:
Soo-Ah couldn’t help but cheer as the final score revealed that Jackson’s team had won. Frankly, she hadn’t understood most of the first half and had to make Youngjae sit next to her so he could explain the rules of the game. But by the second half, Soo-Ah was cheering just as loudly as the next person and waving her arms in the air wildly. She had nearly put her throat out when Jackson hit a home run. She could swear he had turned to look at her in the stands and shot a wink in her direction.
“Hyung! Hyung! Congratulations, it was awesome!” Youngjae cheered loudly, as the Art club members approached the tired but ecstatic baseball team after the game. He went over to congratulate Jaebum and Jinyoung. Soo-Ah stood still, having made eye contact with Jackson. He was carrying his helmet in one hand but he ran over to her with a grin.
“You came!” Jackson beamed.
“I did. Congratulations. I kind of enjoyed myself, surprisingly. Might have been cooler with the banner, though,” She said lightly.
“You saw my home run, right? I saw you cheering in the stands,” Jackson pressed with a grin. He looked down at Soo-Ah and his face fell slightly. “But you’re not wearing my jersey, huh? Now I’m kind of embarrassed,” he admitted, his voice going quiet.
“It smelled weird.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah, I washed it a couple of times but that weird dirt and grass smell wouldn’t go away, I just couldn’t wear it. So I kind of made my own,” Soo-Ah explained. Her cheeks turned red as she turned around. She moved her hair on shoulder to reveal the backside of her slightly baggy t-shirt; she had painted Jackson’s name and number onto the back. It looked almost professional. “Not bad, right?” she asked, lightly.
Jackson wrapped his arms around her from behind, tightly. Soo-Ah stiffened slightly in the backhug, but then slowly let herself relax into his comforting grip. His grip on her waist tightened as his head came over her shoulder. “I love it,” he whispered into her ear softly, before pressing his lips to her cheek. He grinned and breathed out, “It’s better than my jersey.”
Soo-Ah felt her face flush. “I mean, it doesn’t smell as bad, so…”
“Hmm.”
“Do you plan to let go anytime soon?” she asked, suddenly aware that some of the baseball team and art club members were staring and giggling at them. “People are staring and it’s kind of awkward. Jackson. Let go. At least let me turn around so I can see you-“
Jackson hummed lightly. “I’ll let you go for two seconds if you promise that all you’ll do is turn around.”
“I promise. I just want to hug you properly.”
He beamed and removed his arms from around her. Soo-Ah turned and smiled at him, but then quickly slid out of his grasp completely and darted away. She laughed as she jogged away from him and out of reach. Jackson stared after her, a betrayed expression on his face.
“You promised!” he whined, letting his arms fall to his sides.
“That’s revenge for destroying my banner, Jackson Wang!”

In My Dreams : Chapter 3

Description: Junhong lead a hard life. Taken in by his abusive acoholic Aunt and Uncle after a tragic accident that lead to his parents death was only just the beginning of his pain. He never fit in at school, bullying had become a daily routine, and being openly gay in a closed minded town didn’t exactly help his current social situation. Junhong lived most of his life with his head down praying that invisibility be his friend. But in the flash of a moment everything changed. Finding himself somehow transported to a foreign land he’s given a second chance at life. A chance to make new friends, new relationships, a brand new beginning he thought he would never have. But it will not be without its ups and downs, the biggest hardship being the handsome face in his new group of friends. In the end Junhong will have to make the biggest decision of his life, does he return to everything he knows to be with his family like he’s expected, or will he stay in this strange new land and give up everything for love?

Chapter 3: So Lost
    From where he was on the ground Junhong bucked up some courage and peeked through his arms, and what he saw told him he was in for the ride of his lifetime. Hundreds of men dressed in camouflage came marching out of the forest before him, all carrying backpacks and huge guns like something out of a movie. They were bigger then anything he had ever seen before. The entire gun was one big oval with an oval opening at the end. There were all kinds of buttons on the sides, for what he didn’t know, there were glowing blue lines travelling in all different directions across it, and from what he could see from the ground he couldn’t find a trigger or anywhere to load it.
    But that wasn’t even the most shocking thing he saw. What took his breath away was the machine that was leading the pack of soldiers. At the front line driven by one of the men was a large metal machine, as tall as the tree tops, it had four legs and walked like a spider. The entire thing was made of metal and as it walked it cleared a path through the trees for the soldiers.
    Junhong watched as men came out of the forest by the hundreds, more and more machines followed, everyone walking right past him not even giving him a second glance. He didn’t even know what to think about all of this, he didn’t even know where he was or how he got there. The last he knew he was at the diner.
     He was startled out of his personal pity party when one of the passing soldiers kicked him in the leg, so startled that he jumped about a mile to the left. “Soldier, what are you doing down there?” the mans loud authoritative voice sent chills right down Junhong's spine. “Where’s your gun? A soldier is no use if he can’t hold on to his only form of protection! You there, give me a spare gun for this one.”
    He threw a gun in Junhong's lap but what was he supposed to do with it? He didn’t know how to use it, he didn’t even want to touch it, all he could do was stare at it in pure horror.
    When Junhong showed no sign of moving the soldier in front of him become very upset very fast, “Well boy, what are you still sitting there for? Get up, get dressed, and get moving like everyone else!”
    Junhong watched as the mans face turned a hundred shades of red as he leaned threateningly over him and he had never been so terrified in his entire life.
    He could have sworn in that moment he would never see the light of day again when his saviour came just in time. Just as the man in front of him was about to explode like a volcano, a hand came to rest on his shoulder, pulling him back, “Hey Chief, don’t worry I’ll take care of this one.”
    The one called Chief looked at the blonde boy who had rescued him and nodded his approval, carrying on with the rest of the pack.
    The blonde held his hand out for Junhong and helped him out of the mud. When he was closer he was able to get a better look at him and he couldn’t say he was disappointed. He was beautiful! His bleach blonde hair hung over his eyes, shaping his chubby chipmunk cheeks just right. His soft blue eyes held Junhong's in a vice, unable to look away, completely entranced by his looks. He flashed him a dashing smile that nearly had Junhong on his knees, and his voice was that of an angel.
    “Are you ok kid?” he raised his eye brows when the only response he got was a dopey gaze, “hey, are you alright…maybe not?”
    Junhong forced his eyes to look away and took a breath before he answered, “I'm alright, I mean I'm not hurt, just a bit confused.”
    “Confused about what?” it seemed that now this boy was the one who was confused, “We have been doing the same thing everyday for the last six months, how can you still be confused?”
    Junhong let out a sigh, he knew that what he was about to say was going to sound ridiculous to this boy but he had no other choice, “that’s the thing, I'm not from here, where ever here is. You see what happened was I was working my normal shift at the diner, my Noona went to yell at some kids who were teasing me earlier that day. I tried to stop her and the next thing I know this voice starts calling my name, the same voice that had been appearing in my dreams for weeks before that. All of a sudden the room started spinning and the ground was shaking, then you guys came busting out of the forest with those giant spider things, then that crazy guy yelled at me, and then you saved me, you saved me-”
     “Whoa, whoa,” the blonde laughed holding his hands up to Junhong, “one thing at a time kid. How about we start with a name, hmm? Mine is Daehyun.”
    “Junhong,” the two shook hands then he continued asking, “so what town in this?”
    “Town?” Daehyun tilted his head with the word.
    “Yes…” Junhong drawled, “The name of the smaller places that make up countries.” Daehyun only looked more lost as Junhong continued so he tried a different approach, “ok, let’s try this then, what is the name of this place that we are standing in right now?”
    Daehyun perked up a bit, “Right now we are in the Cectron Sector in the Linoleon Region. Were on our way back from a six month mission.”
    Junhong had absolutely no clue what he was talking about but decided to go along with it anyways, “Ok, where is that? Is it close to Seoul, or Bucheon, or any other town in Korea? Or are we in a different country all together?”
     “What are these towns and countries you speak of?” he scrunched his nose at Junhong.
    He was starting to think that maybe he wasn’t insane after all, in fact so far he seemed to be the sanest one here. “It’s basic geography. We live on Earth, which has continents, which contain countries, which have towns and cities, where people live…”
    Junhong watched as all the light bulbs in Daehyun's head finally turned on, “Oh, Earth, you’re from the planet Earth.” Junhong let loose a triumphant smile, he was finally getting somewhere, “Well then you are a far way from home because we are on the planet Hallia.”
    His smile left quicker then it came. His heart stopped beating and he found it suddenly hard to breathe. “Are you sure?!” Daehyun nodded and Junhong continued to panic, “I don’t know how this happened. One second I was at work and now…now I'm here, on a different planet!”
    “Hey, calm down,” Daehyun tried to sooth him, “we’ll figure it out.”
    Junhong could feel that he was on the verge of crying, not because he was upset but because he just felt so lost. “This must have something to do with that voice, the one that kept telling me I had to save someone before it was too late. It has to be.”
    “You heard a voice?”
    “Yeah,” Junhong wiped the tears brimming his eyes, “at first it was only in my dreams but then I started hearing it while I was awake too. It was the last thing I heard at the diner before I somehow landed here.”
    “Interesting…” Daehyun turned his head, looking to something at the back of the pack before turning back to Junhong.
    “Do you know something about this? Can you help me get back to Earth?” Daehyun could hear the hope he tried to hide in his voice when he asked.
    Not wanting to get Junhong's hopes too high just in case he couldn’t help, all he said was, “I’m not sure, I’ll have to get back to you on that. But for right now we should get moving, it’s dangerous to fall behind. And grab your gun you might need that.”
    Daehyun began walking leaving Junhong behind staring at the gun. He bent over and very cautiously picked it up, holding it from a single spot far away from his body, running to catch up to Daehyun.
    “Look, I have never handled anything like this before so I have no idea how to work this.” He admitted, trying to give it to him.
    Daehyun laughed, “Well for one thing you’re holding it wrong You have the barrel facing the ground which will do you no good if you need to defend yourself.”
    “Defend myself?” he shrieked, “against what?!”
    “There are many things in this land that are far more dangerous then anything on your planet, I'm sure,” he looked to Junhong with a smirk, “so if you want to stay alive I suggest you hold it properly, don’t worry, it wont bite.”
    He readjusted the gun, imitating Daehyun the best he could, “Ok, now how do I shoot?”
    “First you have to unlock it by authorizing yourself,” he pointed to one of the buttons on the side, “push that there and follow the instructions.”
    He did as he was told and when he did a blue hologram of a lady popped out of the top of his gun. “Speak your name please,” her soft voice spoke.
     “Um…Choi Junhong.”
    “Now finger print please, main index if you would be so kind,” she was replaced by a blank blue screen. Junhong placed his finger there and watched as a light came down scanning his finger.
    She returned to the screen for a brief moment to say, “Very well, Choi Junhong, authorization complete.” Then she disappeared.
    Looking to his new friend he asked, “Now what?”
    “Say your name, like you did just now, and then say arm. When you want to lock it again you do the same thing but instead you say disarm. When you want to shoot,” he pointed to a blue square at the base of the gun, “place the finger you just scanned there and give a slight push. It will register only your finger print so that your enemies can never use your own weapon against you.”
    “That’s it?” it seemed fairly simple.
    “That’s it,” he repeated, “but just make sure that you leave it disarmed until you need it.”
    “Honestly, I hope I never have to use it.”
    Daehyun sighed, “Well, Junhong, I’ll try my best to make sure you don’t. You’ll be safe with me, kid. Now, let’s get you back to camp and clean you up.”

Mark Tuan x Reader Fanfiction Genre: Angst/Fluff Author: YoseiCosplay
A/N: Hey guys! Sorry it has taken so long to post this chapter. I’ve started my new job and I’m working 8 hour shifts. I know how it feels to read a fanfiction that you actually like and it never gets finished. I’m never one to do that, so I promise, this WILL get finished. I also have another one in the works. A Got7!gang x Reader fic that my friend and I are co writing together, so stay tuned! Anyway, here you go!
Chapter 4:
“Thank you so much, everyone,” you say in Korean as you bow. You really do appreciate everything Got7 did for you. The group of idols smile at you and begin their farewells.
“We expect to see you tomorrow for the concert, so don’t forget about us!” Jackson dramatically expresses to you.
You laugh at his antics. “Of course I wouldn’t forget. That’s why I flew to South Korea in the first place.” You wink at him playfully, catching him off guard and making him faintly blush. The boys laugh at this exchange as they all wave you out of the restaurant. Unbeknownst to you, Jackson nudges Mark and gestures toward your retreating figure. Mark nods at him and follows you out the door.
“Hey, Y/N, wait up!” You turn to see Mark running after you, making you blush. You wait for him to catch up before you both continue walking. It’s silent for a bit, but not uncomfortable.
When you both reach the car, you turn to him and now your head. “Thank you again for helping me at the meeting. And for dinner. It was a nice welcome to the country.” You smile at him, making him turn pink.
Mark smiles back and nods. “Of course. I hate it when people bully others. Besides, us Americans need to watch each others backs.” He nudges you playfully, making you laugh.
Suddenly he looks very nervous. You tilt your head. “Are you okay, Mark?” You ask confused.
He nods and rubs the back of his neck. “Yeah. I, uh, just wanted to ask you something…” He trails off.
You wait for him to continue, When he doesn’t, you nod an encouragement. He gives you a small smile and takes a breath. “I was wondering i-if you, um, wanted to possibly go to dinner with me after the concert tomorrow night?” He smiles nervously.
You blink and just stare at him. “Um…what?” you ask in pure shock, not sure if you’re hearing right.
He laughs nervously. “Yeah, I just think you’re pretty cool and I’d like to get to know you more. Without the other guys around. I-if you want to.”
You nod your head slowly. “Y-yes! I-I would love to.” Your face turns three shades of red, making him chuckle.
Mark nods his head feeling a little more confident. “Good. Meet me backstage tomorrow after the show.” He leans close to your face and lightly touches his soft lips to your bright red cheek. He winks and heads back inside the restaurant. You stand there in utter shock, trying to process what just happened. Not only did The Mark Tuan just ask you out, but he also just kissed you.
Not realizing how long you were standing there frozen, the driver peeks his head out the window. “Miss? We go back now.” You snap out of it and nod, climbing into the car. All the way back to the hotel all you can think about is what tomorrow is going to be like.
Time Skip
‘Damn. I’m here two hours early and the line is still hella long.’ You groan to yourself. You were really hoping to have gotten there early enough so you didn’t have to deal with those types of fans again, noticing the weird looks you were already being given.
‘Man, they really aren’t going to like what I’m about to do next.’ You mentally facepalm. Sighing, you walk straight to the front of the line, making a lot of the crazy fan girls yell. Trying your best to ignore them, you walk up to the security by the door and tell them your name and show them your backstage pass. They nod and open the door for you, which in turn did NOT make the line of fans happy, as they started screaming and pushing.
Once inside the quiet building,you take a deep breath to calm your anxiety. You really hate situations like that. Looking around, you find the sign to the direction of backstage. Once you arrive, you show your backstage pass to the security again. They look you up and down before nodding and letting you pass. You bow your head in thanks.
Backstage was huge. The staff was running back and fourth making sure everything will go smoothly for tonight. You look around trying to spot the boys. Suddenly, you hear your name.
“Y/N-ah!” you turn around to see BamBam walking towards you with a smile You smile back and wave.
“Annyeonghaseyo, BamBam!” You greet happily. He opens his arms and hugs you tight.
“Follow me, the boys have been waiting to see you again!” He grabs your hand and drags you to a separate room. Once inside, you look around and notice all the make-up artists, stations and racks full of clothes. There were staff all over, making the necessary preparations for the show in two hours.
“Hey, guys, look who’s here!” BamBam says loudly over the bustle. Everyone’s head turns in your direction, making you turn red. The group of idols smile and come over to greet you with hugs, making you smile.
“Yay! Y/N-ah is here!” Jackson jumps to hug you. He’s followed by Youngjae who hugs you tightly, asking ‘How you feel!’ which, you told him you feel great. Yugyeom is next and squeezes you tight, lifting you off the ground in the process. JB smiles at you and give you a small hug as to not hurt you, knowing how hard Yugyeom likes to hug. Jinyoung hugs you tight as well, saying hello. Mark comes up to you last and smiles, hugging you tightly but not too tightly. His hug lasts longer than the rest, making you smile into his shoulder.
He releases you and blushes. “So, um, you excited for the show?” He asks trying to hide the fact that he touched you the longest.
You nod and smile at him. “Very much so. I’ve been waiting for this for months now.”
The boys all nod. “Hey. Y/N-ah. I like you shirt!” Youngjae says in english, making the boys look at it and agreeing. You look down at it and smile. It was your favorite shirt you had. It was a black tight V neck and it had all the members in chibi form drawn onto it, with their names underneath. The back said ‘Got7′ in large glow in the dark green letters.
“Thank you! I made it.” You smile proudly. The members gasp in admiration.
“Wow! So amazing!” Yugyeom says in english, making you laugh.
“Y/N! Can you make me one!” Jackson asks, bouncing excitedly.
“Me too!” Jinyoung raised his hand.
“I want one too!” BamBam smiled wide. All the members start getting excited, wanting a custom shirt from you.
You laugh as you nod. “Okay okay, I will since you all asked me.” They let out an excited ‘YES!’ all together.
Just then, their manager came up to them and spoke in Korean. The group of boys nod. “So, unfortunately Y/N, we gotta start getting ready to get on stage.” Mark says unhappily. You nod in understanding and smile.
“That’s alright. I can’t to see you guys on stage! I’ll be right there cheering you on!” You smile wider, making the boys laugh. You all said your goodbyes. But before you could leave, Jackson turned to you.
“Y/N! Before you go, I just wanted to ask something. We forgot to ask you at dinner who your bias wrecker was!” Jackson wiggles his eyebrows. At the sound of ‘bias wrecker’ coming out of his mouth, the boys stop and stare at you, anticipating your answer.
You instantly blush. “Yaaah, do I gotta do this right now?” The whole group nods fast. You groan and sigh in defeat. “Alright. If you want the truth. My original bias wrecker was… Jackson.” You say, making him yelp out a victory. “However.” This made him stop and look at you again. “After learning more about you guys and watching videos on youtube, I’m sorry but, Jinyoung pushed you right out of that spot with his pure savage and cuteness.” You turn to look at Jinyoung, who turned bright red after hearing your answer. (Poor Jackson sits in the corner, mending his broken heart)
Yugeyom speaks up. “Y/N-ah, what about me?” He says in Korean, thankfully you understand.
You giggle. “Honestly, you all could be complete bias wreckers. But, I have a soft spot for Jinyoung and an even bigger soft spot for my Bias, Mark.” You blush as you turn to look at Mark, who wink at you, red faced. The boys nod in satisfaction, poor Jackson still not over his hurt pride.
“Well, on that note, I better be going. I wish you guys luck! Fighting!” You say with a raised fist and a wink. You turn around and walk back out and head to the stage.
Behind you, Mark grabs one of the security guards and speaks to them in Korean. “Can you please watch out for her and make sure nothing happens to her? I don’t want another incident like at the fan meeting.” The guard nods and follows you out. Mark watches, hoping that you’ll be okay in that crowd.

Flustered (part 1)
Pairing: Yugbam

Yugyeom, a quiet and shy library assistant, just wants to keep the peace. BamBam, a quirky design student, knows too many pickup lines. Then they exchanged numbers and it feels like the world turned upside down.

Yugyeom knew they would be trouble the moment they walked in. Nothing was reassuring about three guys walking into a library, and Yugyeom's library assistant sense had been tingling since he spotted them. So, when the tallest and scariest looking of them screamed penis at a not-so-library-appropriate volume, Yugyeom had to do something. Unfortunately, he lacked the confidence to say something and, well, the blond one was cute. Incredibly cute. Cute enough that Yugyeom couldn't bring himself to ruin their fun. 
 That's the exact problem: he'd noticed this blond kid come into the library every Wednesday and study for an hour since the beginning of the school year. Every once and a while, he'd bring a friend. Usually, though, it was just the blond, his wild fashion sense, and stack of books sitting in the middle of the library. After a while, Yugyeom had begun to crush on the quiet studying blond and it pained him. 
 Yugyeom retreated back to the safety of the sorting room. In there was senior library assistant Park Jinyoung, staring at a cart of books with a clipboard in hand. "Have you taken care of the problem, Yugyeom?" He asked, with out even looking from the books. Yugyeom let a single bone-rattling scream of penis answer for him. "Goddammit. Do I have to do it myself?" Jinyoung said, slamming the clipboard on top of the books. He walked over to open the door, a threatening motion to Yugyeom's job. 
 "No! No! I got it!" Yugyeom whined. He took two huge steps and took the door handle. He froze, looking at the blond. His cheeks were hot. His heart was pounding. 
 "Hmm." Jinyoung smiled his sinister cat smile. Yugyeom was going to die. "So you got it?"
"YES!" Yugyeom tugged the door all the way open and disappeared into the shelves. He took two deep breaths. Then four. Then two again. All he had to do was to tell the blond and his dummy friends to shut up. It was fine. Yugyeom could rebound from it. He passed through the nonfiction section and waltzed over to their table, unnoticed by the threesome. The exact moment he opened his mouth all of his guts seemed to do a backflip. "Hi." He said, awkwardly. He wanted to die. "Umm." He was dead. "You all need to stop. It's disrupting other library guests." 
 All three of them got quiet. The tall one avoided eye contact. The otter-looking one blushed. The blond, though, leaned in and laughed. "Is there really anyone else here to bother?" 
Oh shit. 
“Um, well," Yugyeom was trembling and his face was hotter than before. He probably looked like a tomato. Gosh, that kid was amazing close up. Come on Yugyeom get it together, he thought. "It's library policy to keep at a reasonable volume. Screaming, ahem, penis doesn't qualify." He stated, only to receive a couple of giggles. "So we'll-" He stopped. He couldn't kick them out; he couldn't look that bad.
“Sorry." The scary one said. He held his head down like he had committed the greatest sin ever. He checked his phone and the following silence was one of the most awkward ones Yugyeom would experience. "Well, BamBam, Youngjae and I gotta go. It's 4:45." So that was his name. 
 "Okay guys! See you tomorrow?" BamBam said. 
"Yep!" Youngjae replied, waving. The pair exited and Yugyeom just stood there, watching- not them, BamBam. He wanted to retreat back to the sorting room, to the safety and organization and not awkward silences. Then, BamBam spoke.
 "So, are you just going to stand there or?" He made eye contact with Yugyeom. Yugyeom blinked himself out of his daze. 
 "Uh, I, you-" Yugyeom blushed even harder. His heart was full throttle pounding and words weren't forming in his head.
"We have to kick you out for making such a fuss." A solid, calm voice came from behind Yugyeom. Thank the heavens for Park Jinyoung. 
 BamBam visibly drooped, his lip jutted out in a huge pout. "What?! I need this textbook for my design class and I-" 
 Jinyoung winked at Yugyeom. "I can let you stay if you give this poor kid your number." He said, cutting BamBam off. 
The pout transformed into a sinister smile. "You wanted my number?" BamBam asked. He cackled, or at least it felt like it, and scrawled it on a sticky note. "Here!" Yugyeom took the note and just stared at it. The entire world was spinning around him and he wouldn't ever mind. "If you thought I was cute, why didn't you say something?" 
 Yugyeom was still in shock from the number that he could only mumble, "Um... I... Ah." 
 "It's okay. I know I'm just stunningly beautiful!" BamBam joked, striking a pose. He giggled at his own joke- his laugh was like really intense inhaling- and it was too cute. Yugyeom really wanted to return to the sorting room. His cheeks were on fire. "It's okay, you're the cutest book I've ever checked out." BamBam had a shit eating grin on his face. Yugyeom was beyond flustered. 
"Ah, thanks, I-" 
"This is cute." BamBam leaned in. "Are you a library book?" 
 "No?" 
"Because you have fine written all over you." 
 Yugyeom was doing a mental spit take. "I- Okay thank you. I gotta go. You're, ah." He turned.
"Don't forget to text me, okay?" BamBam called after him.
Yugyeom mentally planned his own funeral, certain that the audacity of this kid would end up killing him. He stepped into the sorting room, took a deep breath, and then he looked over and saw Jinyoung with his phone in his hand, snickering. "You-" 
"All on camera. Funniest shit I've seen in years, my friend." Jinyoung said, slipping the device back into his pocket. Yup, Yugyeom wanted roses around the lectern. 
He began to organize one of the return carts, trying to take his mind off the sticky note that was burning a hole in his back pocket. He busied himself with putting the books back, occasionally stealing glances at BamBam. His lip stuck out in focus; his brows were furrowed in confusion. Yugyeom took his time just to observe. Then, he had to help a plethora of other students check out old medical journals and what not. Eventually, the creak of the library's ancient doors signified that BamBam was leaving. He looked back at Yugyeom and winked. Yugyeom knew he was in for something.
Yugyeom stared at the screen. He was too afraid, too nervous, too shy to send a message. He wanted to curl into a ball and for his heart to stop making him want things. He had been staring at his phone for hours now and hadn't a single clue what to say. So, he did what he did best and placed it on his shelf, closed his eyes, and fell asleep. 
 After a morning of classes, it was back to the library for another shift with Jinyoung for hours of monotonous organizing, shelving, cataloging, and checking-out (the boring kind that doesn't involve staring at cute blonds). Yugyeom trudged in, put on his name tag, and signed the assistant's schedule.He spent his first hour re-shelving books, then his second organizing nine carts, and his third at the desk. 
Just as hour four was rolling past, a certain blond strolled in. On a Thursday. Yugyeom's heart stopped. He retreated to the sorting room, where Jinyoung and the other head assistant, Namjae or something, were chatting away. Jinyoung stuck his hand up, a sinister smile on his face, and said, "Yugyeom, you looked panicked." 
"I'm not." Yugyeom replied, turning to sort a cart. "Can one of you run the front desk for awhile?" He needed to calm down and stop his face from turning firetruck red. 
"I'll do it." Jinyoung opened the door and stepped out, leaving Yugyeom and the Nam-something guy alone. Before either of them could blink at each other, Jinyoung was busting through the door. "You're going out there Kim Yugyeom! You're going out there!" Yugyeom shot a small glance at Nam-whatever as if to say, "Dear lord please help me." But, unfortunately, he was getting dragged by the arms out of the sorting room and towards the desk. He wished the invisibility cloak existed. After some struggle, Yugyeom was standing and staring at the cute blond that gave him his number yesterday. 
 "Hi." He said.
"Hello." BamBam said back. He was smiling, revealing a top row of pearly whites, and then giggled. "Good thing I brought my library card," He giggled again, "because I'm checking you out." 
 "Ah." Yugyeom laughed. "Why do you do this to me?" 
 "You're cute and you deserve to know that." BamBam answered. Yugyeom had been blasted into outer space. Someone really thinks that of me? He sat down next to BamBam and examined his textbook. 
 "What are you studying?" Yugyeom asked. All he could make out was a pattern for a shirt of some sort.
 "I'm making a leather jacket for class and this book had a good pattern for beginners." BamBam replied. "It's a cool dark purple, like here," He pulled a scrap of fabric from his binder and held it up to Yugyeom's face. His eyes got huge all the sudden. "Oh my god. Stand up for a second." He instructed. Yugyeom followed. BamBam looked at him, hand over his mouth and brows scrunched in front like a tailor examining a king. He moved, looking at each of Yugyeom's sides. "You're perfect!" He exclaimed, then came back up to face Yugyeom. "Would you model this for me?" 
Yugyeom's face was on fire again. "Sure?" His head was nodding but his mind was telling him no. Yugyeom had never been comfortable in the spotlight, so why was he accepting the offer of a near stranger to model a project?
"Really?" BamBam was glowing. Happiness seemed to burst through the room. "Okay great. I’m over in the Green Dorms. Building two, floor two, room two. Okay?" He handed Yugyeom a sticky note with the information on it. "Can you come at seven? I need your measurements." 
"Definitely!" Yugyeom said, hoping not to sound too excited. His heart was going to explode.
BamBam laughed again. "Great!" He started organizing his stuff back into his bag. "I'll see you later then?"
 "Yep." 
 As soon as BamBam was gone, Yugyeom did a full on happy dance in the back of the nonfiction section. Tonight was going to be the best night of his life

Jaebum’s Point of View
“What’s up? What did you do?” Jackson questions me and I took a quick sip from the water bottle before I placed it down on the table and looked at Jackson.
“I met someone.”
“met someone?” Jackson repeats after me and I nodded my head.
“Wait… Sorry to interrupt but Jackson where were you? You just randomly disappeared last night.” Mark questions him and Jackson cleared his throat and looked at all of us awkwardly.
“So Jaebum who’s the person?”
Now that Mark mentioned it.. Jackson did disappear yesterday.. last night.
“Where did you go?” I asked crossing my arms and Jackson awkwardly scratched the back of his neck and cleared his throat.
“Um.. no where.”
“You’re such a bad liar,” I mumbled and Jackson looked at me.
“I.. I got bored so I decided to leave the club and go for a walk.” Jackson lies again and Youngjae began to laugh at his pathetic excuse.
“Wow… And i thought i was bad at lying.” Youngjae says and I chuckled.
“Fine! I hooked up with someone… I ended falling asleep at her apartment but I’m here now.” Jackson finally admits and the rest of us just smirked at him and nodded our heads.
“Now’s it’s Jaebum’s turn to talk.” Jackson says he crosses his arm and I smiled.
“I met a girl… I’m hoping to see her real soon.”
“Will we get to meet her?” Youngjae asks and an idea popped in my head.
“Sooner than you think,”
I had a plan… A plan to spend time with Y/N.. And a plan to let the boys meet this girl.

After meeting Jaebum.. The only thing you kept thinking about was Jaebum and he way he basically teased you in front of your own apartment building.
After that he just walked off and didn’t even ask for your number or anything to keep in contact. How were you two supposed to see each other again?

It’s been a day and you’re still thinking about Jaebum?
You shrugged it off and you were about to walk out of your room till you noticed that something that caught your eyes. Your froze, quickly turned around and looked down to the ground. 
What is that?
You walked closer to the item on the floor and without any hesitation you picked it up from the ground. 
As soon as you had a hold of the item you noticed it was card. It wasn’t a credit card or debit card but it seemed more like an ID... 
Your eyes widen when you noticed the picture of the guy you had a one night stand with. Holy shit... He must of dropped it without noticing..
What the hell were you going to do?
You looked at the name Wang Ka Yee. That’s his name? You grabbed your wallet and slipped his ID to keep it safe. 
You know nothing about this guy but his name and luckily his address but how were you suppose to approach his apartment or household without feeling awkward..
Hey I’m that girl you had a one night stand with, you forgot your ID at my apartment.. Here you go.
You rolled your eyes and sighed..
What were you going to do.
As you were lost in your thoughts you suddenly felt your stomach growl and your eyes widen. Jesus you’ve been so busy all day you haven’t had the chance to stop and just eat.
You rubbed your stomach, grabbed your purse and headed out the door..

“What s-” you stopped talking to yourself as you stopped at your front door and turned around and found a note tapped on your front door. It wasn’t your door where your apartment was but the front door building. Should you ever be reading this? What if it’s not for you...
You were about to avoid the note but you quickly glanced at the bottom and read your name. It was for you...
I just realized how stupid I am, I recieved your name but not your number. I hope you have a chance to see this before the day is over. Meet me at the coffee shop at this address:

Your eyes widen when your realized that note was from the cute stranger you met yesterday at the park. You smiled and snatched the note from the door. Where you going to meet up with him? Was he really going to take the time and have a chance to spend more time with you? You smiled and walked off debating to yourself whether meeting this boy again was worth it.

What if he’s not here? What if this was some type of prank? What if he left that note to make you come and look stupid... Did he really want to spend more time with you?
“Please be here.” You mumbled to yourself and as you looked around the coffee shop.. One by one you looked at each table looking for a familiar face but nothing.. 
Great.. he’s not here.. Why are you even surprised? Why did you even decide to show up in the first place?
You turned around without even realizing, you turned so fast that you felt yourself hit against someone's chest making your eyes widen and you look up.
There he was...
“Wow, I’m impressed. A girl who actually came on time.” Jaebum says smirking and you couldn’t help but to smile. 
Wait what are you smiling? This boy just made you almost wait for him? Did he come a little late on purpose? Wait.. Why were you here again?
“And a guy who can’t even show up on time.. Hmm what a shame,” You mumbled as you crossed your arms and you were about to walk past him but he grabbed your arm and you instantly stopped and looked at him.
“What?”
“Where are you going?” Jaebum asks and you smiled.
“Well I can’t be with someone who kept me waiting... Who knows what else he make me wait for,” You tested him and you walked off.
You weren’t being serious. You just wanted to see how Jaebum would react. Cross that, will he even react? Or will he just let you walk.
You were out of the shop and was walking farther than planned till. 
“Y/N!”
You stopped and didn’t bother turning around with a huge smile planted on your face. He caught up and you slowly turned around and faced Jaebum.
“I’m sorry... I was.. I just.. “ He looked down and you couldn’t help but to smile on how cute Jaebum looked being shy explaining himself to a girl.
“I’m kidding.. I’m not really mad.” 
“You’re not,”
You just playfully rolled your eyes, grabbed his wrist and made your way to the coffee shop again.

“To be honest I never thought I was going to see you again,” You blurted out looking at Jaebum and he smiles.
“Well.. When I told you that I wanted to see you again... I meant it.”
Was this a first type to lead to much more? 
“I’m surprised. I thought my asshole remarks might of scared you away.” You giggled and Jaebum smiles and you smiled as well.
“No you’re different.”
“Different?”
Jaebum sets the coffee mug down and you continued to stare at him waiting for him to speak.
“I’m used to girls on liking me because..of my fame or just because I’m Jaebum from got7... But never the real me..”
“Did girls ever try to take the chance to get to know you?” You questioned Jaebum but he shook his head and you felt bad. 
Of course you would never know how it feels to be a star... or how lonely it could be. But it must suck basically getting used just because of who you are and not because of who you are as a person.
“Well I’m sure you’ll find someone worth your time.” You commented and you noticed a smile creep in his face.
“I think I did.” 
Was he flirting? Obviously he was.. What am I saying?
“Is that so?”
“Well, I have.. But I hope she’s willing to give me the time of day.. Are you?” 
You haven’t been in a relationship after finding out your ex cheated on you.. And yes you were scared to give any guy a chance.. a guy who was basically going to have your time... Especially a guy who has man fans especially girl fans. But sometimes you have you to take risks... Even if that involves a chance of getting hurt again..
“I am.”
Jaebum smiles and the two of you began to laugh. 
“So is this our first date?” You asked smirking and Jaebum’s eyes widen.
“Of course not, I want our first date to be perfect.”
“Hmm, I will be waiting.” 
The two of you continued to laugh till you noticed Jaebum a bit distracted. He seemed to be staring at the door. You weren’t going to look back till you noticed Jaebum waving.
“Hey boys over here!”
Who is he talking too?
“Y/N, I didn’t expect my friends to be here but since they are, I would like you to meet them.”
You just nodded your head and reached in for your iced coffee you noticed two figure right in next to Jaebum causing you to look at them properly and your eyes widen. Why does he looks so familiar? The stranger looked at Jaebum first and then slowly looked at you.
As you had a better chance to look at his face that’s when it hit you. Oh my god... it was the guy you had a one night stand with.. He’s friend with jaebum?!
You were so distracted at how shocked you were, without even realizing it, you let the iced coffee slip out of your hands and landed on your lap... Spilling everything...
Damn..

12th chapter here and yes that hashtag was used at the time for BB’s birthday, too! um, so the story has moved on to the month of May and we’re heading to the rest of the year as more dates and what not hapens. anyways, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
Serena returned home to another planned hangout of her sister, friends, and GOT7 in her apartment without her permission once again and unlike last time, Serena had a whole new makeover now. She had a light pinkish slash whitish pastel duo tone hair color, wore a light purplish colored contacts, and was dressed in a somewhat sexy pretty flower outfit and accessories with a matching flowery umbrella while carrying a cute tote bag with a panda on it. "Hi." Serena greeted the group shyly as she stared at them and they stared at her in confusion. Before any of them could say something, Serena tried to make a mad dash towards her room, but the other girls intercepted her. "No!" Serena tried to push pass them, but they continued to block her path with cheeky smiles.
"Whoa, Serena, what happened to you?" Jeannie asked giving her friend a once over. "This is the most girlie I have ever seen you and I've known you a long time." "Yeah, Rena, I agree with Jean. This is the girliest we have ever seen you. I like it." Jasmine agreed with a nod of approval. "Well, in the cutesy kinda girlie way, that is." "Is this because of Chloe?" Melanie asked once she took in her sister's appearance. "She did a good job. She always does and I'm a bit envious." Serena sighed. "Yeah. Clo had an assignment today and I was her guinea pig. I just thought it was hair only." "Serena twirl around." Jeannie demanded as Serena complied. "You're so cute." "Shut up." Serena grumbled as she tried to get past the trio again. "Can I just go into my room, please? This feels a bit embarrassing."
"Are you cos-playing the supercalifragilisticexpialidocious?" Jackson asked in English while he imitated on holding an umbrella. "I'm confused. That's Jyongri noona, right?" Yugyeom asked while looking at his fellow members while pointing in Serena's direction. "Is it cosplay?" "Jyongri noona, you're really pretty dressed like that." Jinyoung complimented as Serena became shy and awkward from the younger male's words. "Yeah, noona. Pink and the flowers really suits you!" Youngjae complimented her further and Serena just wanted to get away. She let out an awkward laugh as she finally got passed the other three females and into her room. "It's so fun teasing her." Jasmine chuckled as Melanie agree. "I know. She's so easy."
"Jyongri noona is here and we're all gathered together can we finally celebrate my birthday?" BamBam asked with a grin as everyone rolled their eyes in good-nature. "Your birthday isn't until tomorrow, BamBam." Jaebeom stated as the younger male nodded. "I know, but Jackson hyung and I have that Real Men schedule tomorrow and we can't hang out on my actual birthday." "That's why we're here bugging them again?" Jinyoung asked as BamBam grinned. "Of course." "Wow. That's a big cake." Mark commented upon seeing the three females walking back into the living room with BamBam's half a sheet of cake. "Jyongri unnie ordered the wrong size." Melanie explained as she and the twins set it onto the small table before putting in a few candles onto the cake. "But she got the design on point." Jeannie chuckled.
"True" Jasmine agreed as she held up a lighter. "Unnie needs to hurry up and change so I can eat this cake." "Y'know you guys could have done it without me." Serena said from behind them as she handed a box over to BamBam. "Happy birthday, Bam." Serena wished him a happy birthday in Thai as BamBam took the box with a silly grin. "What is it?" "Open it." BamBam opened the box to revealed Taeyeon's debut album, I. "You're giving this to me?" BamBam looked up at Serena who nodded her head. "Yeah. "Wait, how come I didn't get a present?" Jackson interjected as Serena looked at him. "Because it was like not even a month since we met at that time and I thought it might be awkward." Serena admitted as Jackson pouted. "Ugh, that's no fair and I thougth we were friends."
"Where are you going, Jyongri noona?" Youngjae asked upon seeing the older woman leaving again. "I'll be back." "Did you have to make her feel bad" Mark asked Jackson with an amused look as Jackson continued to sulk. "Because I didn't get a present, Mark hyung." "Hey, isn't this the album that unnie got from her friend?" Jasmine asked Melanie as Melanie stared at the album in BamBam's hands. "Um, probaby. Unnie's not a fan of hers, but now that you mention it I do remember unnie asking me if BamBam was a fan of Taeyeon though a few weeks ago." Serena returned shortly after and handed Jackson a large gift bag. "Here, kid." "What's this?" Jackson asked with an excited look. "Look inside." Jackson happily removed all the tissue paper and pulled out a stuffed Squirtle plush doll.
"Whoa!" Everyone let out in awe as Jackson awed louder upon examining the Pokemon plushie. "This is really mine?" Jackson asked as Serena rolled her eyes and responded sarcastically. "No, Jackson, it's Mark." Jackson frowned. "Why Mark?" "I dunno. Because he's sitting next to you." "Oh, but JB hyung is next to me, too." "Because both you and Mark are tied to Pokemon." "Oh. Thanks, noona." "Welcome." "Hey, does the sunglasses come off?" Jaebeom asked curiously as he pulled on the sunglasses to which did stretched towards him. "Wow, that's cool." "No way!" Jackson slid it off and hugged the doll closer to him. "This is so cute." He put the sunglasses mask back on. "That's cool." Melanie looked at her sister. "Isn't this the one that joins Ash and is part of the Squirtle Squad." Serena grinned. "Yeah."
"Alright!" Jeannie clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. "Let's sing the birthday song and eat this amazing cake!" And soon enough, the group of eleven quickly sang the birthday song and wished BamBam a happy birthday. Once everyone got a piece and settled themselves around the living room, Mark noticed Serena taking a picture of her cake which reminded him of something. "Hey, Jyongri." "Hmm?" Serena acknowledged the male, but didn't face him. "What was that thing about the whole pictures between you and Jinyoung two Fridays ago?" "I don't know." Serena denied as Jinyoung grinned while casting a sly look in the older woman's direction. "It was on that night when we had the sleepover and played GOT7 Jjai."
"Oh you mean the pictures that unnie took of all of us while we were asleep that night?" Jasmine asked innocently with a small smile. "Those are some really cute pictures." "Whoa, whoa, what pictures?" Jackson asked as Yugyeom added while making a 'camera taking' motion. "You took pictures of us?" He smiled cutely. "Can I see them?" "I deleted them already." Serena said as she moved away from the group to sit afar from them. "No she didn't. She still has them." Melanie stated as Serena glared at her, but she just cast her sister a playful smile. "Yeah, unnie, just showed them." Jeannie coaxed the older woman as Serena rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Here." Serena unlocked her phone, went to her photo gallery, and slid the mobile device towards the group of boys. "Have fun."
Youngjae was the first to grab it and went through the images. "These are actually pretty good." He then burst into laughter upon seeing himself. "Is this how I look like when asleep?" He asked to no one in particular. "I know they're pictures and videos of us, but this one is different." "Because it wasn't expected, Youngjae." Mark stated as Youngjae handed the phone over to him. "This dog plush looks way bigger than you, hyung." "It is bigger than me. It's huge. There was another one that was just as big." "Let me see when you're done, Mark hyung." BamBam said as Jackson looked over at Serena. "How come you took pictures of us?" Serena shrugged. "Just felt like it." Jinyoung settled himself beside the female. "What?" She asked him as she saw a smile gracing his lips.
"Nothing." Jinyoung answered as he quietly ate his cake and Serena eyed him while eating her own. "You want something, don't you?" "No I don't." "Yeah, you do." "Noona, I don't." He chuckled as Serena scooted a few inches away from him. "Mmhmm." "Hey, unnie." Melanie called out for her sister. "What Chaewon?" "Jaehwa unnie wants you to set up the karaoke machine." "Why?" "Because BamBam wants to try it out after I told him about it" Jeannie answered with a sheepish laugh as she pointed at the entertainment center. "He found it because he wanted all of us to go to a karaoke place to sing for his birthday when I told him you had one of your own." BamBam held up a microphone. "How about we do some karaoke for my birthday? It should be a lot of fun."
"Only because it's hashtag Happy twentieth BamBam Day. Such a long one. Just don't break it like my table." Serena went to set up the karaoke machine and explained how it work as her karaoke machine was a lot different than a normal one. Once she explained everything and showed the group how it work she then left it to Jeannie and Jasmine to take care of it since they enjoyed using the machine more than she did along with five of the GOT7 members that wanted to join in on the fun. A moment later, Jaebeom and Melanie went on a late night run for more snacks and drinks due to all the boys eating and drinking them all and Serena hadn't had the time to re-stock since their last hangout a week ago. Anyways, Mark went to go bother Serena who was in the kitchen to get away from the commotion as she wasn't in the mood to sing or watch them get into the song and what not.

"Why are you always following me, Mark?" Serena asked when she sat at the kitchen table before removing her glasses to rub at them, but didn't put them back on. "I'm not following you, Serena. I just wanted a bottle of water." Mark answered as he opened the refrigerator door to grab the said item. "Mmhmm. Sure, right." Serena grabbed several notebooks from out of her tote bag she had left there yesterday and began reviewing the rest of the students' English notebooks. Mark didn't say anything after taking a swig, but he continued to linger around as he was casually leaning against the counter and glancing at the female every now and then. "Do you need something, Mark?" Serena asked him not looking up from the current notebook where she was scribbling something in the margin.
"Nope." Mark answered nonchalantly. "Then leave." "Why?" "Just cause." "Cause what?" He mused knowing full well that it would annoy Serena further. "Because you're annoying." The male chuckled as he took a seat across from Serena who just glanced at him before returning back to what she was doing. "Jerk." She muttered under her breath, but Mark heard her and let out another laugh. "You're funny." He said. "How so?" "You just are." "Mmhmm." Silence fell between them as Mark slid the bottle back and forth between his hands onto the table's surface whereas Serena moved onto one notebook to the next without paying further attention to the idol. "Are you sure you're a fan of us, Serena?" Mark asked a moment later.
Serena paused in mid-writing, sat up straighter, and looked at the male with a confused expression. "Why wouldn't I be?" Mark shrugged. "I dunno. You don't seem to show it." "But it doesn't mean I'm not a fan, Mark." Mark averted his eyes away from Serena as she continued to talk slowly. "Kinda like you, Mark, I say and do things when I feel like it. I'm initially quiet, reserve, and shy." She began to tell him a little more about herself. "But I open up when I'm comfortable or know the person a bit better to behave a little more freely" She averted her gaze to the notebook before her. "I just choose to be indifferent and blend in the background as it's easier to be and to go with the flow when no one is really paying much attention to you." Serena finished as she went back to writing her notes in the students' notebooks.
Mark returned his eyes onto the older woman, but remained quiet as he tried to form his thoughts before saying anything. "Sorry." He finally said as the female looked up with a tilt of her head. "What for?" "I didn't mean to make you feel like you had to explain yourself. I'm sorry, Serena." Mark apologized as Serena dismissed it. "It's all good, Mark. Don't worry about it. Must be kinda weird when you're an idol and you're hanging out with one of your fans, yet the fan doesn't act like the other fans you're so used to. It makes sense." She smiled at him before finishing the last notebook and putting it away with the others. "Thanks for saying that and understanding, Serena." Mark thanked her with a small smile as Serena looked at him with a smile of her own. "You're welcome, Mark."
Serena then grinned at him. "Now you can go run along to the rest while I go to my room and sleep." Mark narrowed his eyes at her. "You're doing it again." "Doing what?" "Being mean after saying something nice." "So? What's your point, Mark?" Mark shook his head with a wry smile. "Nothing." "Okay, cool. Night." "Wait." "What now?" "Why did you color your hair? I was getting used to the magenta one." Serena raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Oh really? Well, tell that to my friend next time when she decides to use me as one of her assignments." Mark laughed. "Oh, is that why you were dressed up like a flower girl?" "Yes." Serena answered as she folded her arms onto the table to place her head on top of it. "Like four hours for the hair and like two hours for the whole outfit. And then another hour or so of posing for the camera." "Wow. Seems like you were at a photo-shoot for a magazine for something."
"I really wish I didn't say yes to her at two in the morning when she called me about it." "And here you are although you said you hated people earlier." Mark smirked as Serena groaned while turning her head so that her cheeks were pressed against her forearms. "Shut up." Mark didn't reply, but he did lean over the table to mess with Serena's hair. "Cheer up. Life gets better." Serena raised her head and tried to smack Mark's hand away. "What did I say about my hair, Mark?" "That your friend dyed it to use your for one of her assignments." He cheekily responded as Serena narrowed her eyes at him. "You win this round, Mark Tuan." Mark looked at her with amusement, but didn't say anything. "I'm going to bed and you go bother the others." Serena flashed him a tired smile as she got up and left the kitchen as Mark sat there for a few seconds longer before returning to the living room.

"This is a lot." Melanie muttered under her breath as the basket was filled with all sorts of items as Jaebeom added another strawberry milk into the basket. Melanie eyed the idol as he looked at her indifferently. "What?" Melanie handed the basket over to the male. "You're carrying it since you keep adding more strawberry milk. Plus, all of y'all keep eating everything every time you guys come over." Jaebeom chuckled. "Okay." The male followed after the female as she wandered into the next aisle while mumbling a few things to herself while scanning the products. "So you do talked to yourself." Jaebeom commented from behind as she stopped walking to glance behind. "Huh?" Jaebeom repeated what he had said as Melanie nodded. "Yeah, it helps me remember sometimes."
Melanie grabbed several items and was about to placed them into the basket, but didn't. "We need another one. That's too full." She began to walk towards the front when she spotted Yerim entered the store. "Shit." She quietly let out as she quickly turned around to just run into Jaebeom. "Whoa, are you okay?" He asked while steadying Melanie and making sure that none of the products had fallen. Melanie didn't say anything as she placed the items into the already filled basket and then maneuvered herself and Jaebeom towards the back of the store to keep a good distance between them and Yerim. "What's wrong, noona?" Jaebeom asked once the two were settled. "Um," Melanie stalled as she doubled checked to see where Yerim was within the convenient store and saw that she was at the front counter.
"Chaewon noona?" Melanie finally looked at him. "Sorry, but Yerim's here again." "The one from the group date, right?" "Yeah. Have you crossed paths with her like I have with Kyungtae?" The idol shook his head. "No." "I see." Melanie glanced behind her and saw that Yerim was now making her way through the aisles. "She might just be here for fun, but I don't know for sure." Jaebeom tried to assure Melanie of the situation, but she scoffed. "Yeah, right. She's not here for fun." Melanie turned to face the male again. "Seolbi told me that Yerim's been trying to get your information, but Seolbi or the others don't know anything. She hasn't gotten anything from your buddies either since your friends have been busy." "I told them to not leak my contacts. Glad to know they haven't." "That's good."
The female glanced behind and saw that Yerim was now heading closer and closer to where they were. "Look, I'll buy the stuff and distract Yerim just so that you can make your getaway, okay?" "But what if she does something?" Jaebeom asked in concern as Melanie smiled in reassurance. "She won't. She's not the type to fight physically. I'm good." "You're sure?" "Yes, JB, I'm sure. Now go or faced a sasaeng fan at this hour." "Alright. Be safe." Jaebeom squeezed her right shoulder while handing the basket to her. When he was in the clear, he quickly made his towards the exit while Melanie walked towards Yerim like she didn't know the younger female was there. "Oh, hey, Yerim. What are you doing on this side of town at this hour?" Yerim looked over at Melanie with no expression. "Just hanging out since Dayoon went to Busan for the weekend. What are you doing here, unnie?"
"I'm hanging out with my sister and friends." Melanie answered as she made sure to stand where Yerim wouldn't look towards the entrance. "Oh, okay. Is that all for you guys?" Yerim pointed at the filled up basket while Melanie glanced down at it. "Yeah." "That's a lot of strawberry milk." Melanie looked at the female who was looking at her a bit too closely. "My sister really likes strawberry milk. She doesn't drink no other milk besides this flavor." "Oh, I see. So," Yerim began like they were close, "I heard that one of the guys from the Konkuk group date has been stalking you." Melanie's eyebrows furrowed. "Who said that?" "I overheard Seolbi unnie talking with Haeryong unnie a while back." "It's all settled now. A misunderstanding." "I don't see why he would follow you around though."
"What do you mean by that?" "I'm just saying that you don't seem like his type that he would go after." Yerim shrugged as Melanie wanted to roll her eyes, but didn't. "What do you think is his type, Yerim?" "I dunno, unnie. Someone more girly and not well, you." "Well, I need to get going or my sister is gonna throw a fit if she doesn't get some strawberry milk soon." "Yeah, me too. Bye, unnie." Yerim waved with an air of politeness as Melanie gave her a small wave. "Yeah, bye." Luckily, Jaebeom finally made it out of the store before Yerim left. Melanie rolled her eyes while letting out a deep breath. "That girl is gonna get it one of these days." She muttered to herself before making her way to the cashier to buy the items. "Luckily I still have Serena's card to pay for all this." She chuckled to herself.
After Melanie paid the amount and gathered the three bags before making her way out of the store and back towards the apartment complex. The female totally forgot that Jaebeom had accompanied her until someone matched her pace. Melanie turned to look at the person and realized it was Jaebeom. "Oh, hey, you. I thought you went back." "Yeah, I wouldn't do that. Anyways, so how did it go?" "It went okay. I think she was still looking for you though." "I see." "And she heard that Kyungtae was stalking me." "Really?" "Yeah." "By the way, I talked to him." "Okay. What happened?" "Kyungtae said that you were the one that asked him to be all protective over you." "But I didn't. I don't even know how this whole thing started as I didn't even talk to him at the group date thing." "I know." "What else did he say?" "He said that he was your boyfriend and he was looking out for you." "Bullshit." "I know." "Ugh, I just wanna smack him."
Jaebeom chuckled as Melanie eyed him. "It's not funny." "I'm sorry, noona." Jaebeom recovered from his laugh, but a smile was evident upon his face. "I just wish I didn't go to that dumb group date." Melanie muttered, but Jaebeom overheard her. "Then you wouldn't have met me, noona." Melanie cast him an indifferent look. "Well, I would have eventually somehow. I already interacted with you guys a year ago during your fanmeet in San Francisco." "Oh, wow, really?" "Yeah, saw you guys three times that year." "You flew out to just see us?" "Yeah, why not? But no, not really. Family stuff at the time." "But didn't you attend anything while staying here?" Melanie shook her head. "No. School got in the way and so did work for Jyongri unnie." "Oh." "Yeah, but it was always an excuse to fly back home." Melanie smiled at him as the two continued to walk to the complex now in a comfortable silence between them.
By the time they arrived back to Serena's apartment they witnessed Youngjae and Jasmine arguing about the scores they got after singing. It was because Youngjae was upset that Jasmine had beaten him on every song challenge that they had done since the duo had left. Jinyoung reminded the younger male that the machine calculates on its own accord and that Jasmine couldn't have cheated. Youngjae was still upset. As for the others they just ate the rest of the cake and the snacks and drinks that Melanie and Jaebeom had recently bought and watched both Youngjae and Jasmine go at it again to see who could get the highest score. Jasmine won again and Youngjae just continued to sulk. As for Serena, she never came back from out of her room as she did ended up falling asleep and Melanie let her sister be for the rest of the night.
Soon enough it was already quite late and both Jackson and BamBam needed to rest before their schedule later that day to which none of the females were told as they had to find out like the others. The younger males cleaned up the mess they had made in the living room whereas Jeannie did the dishes with Jinyoung. Jasmine took out the trash with the help of Mark and Jackson as the two males didn't realize that there was so much because of them. Melanie ended up putting away all the things of Serena's karaoke machine to make sure everything was intact so that her sister wouldn't be cursing up a storm if something was amiss. Once it was all clean and done the three females bid good night to GOT7 with the girls wishing BamBam a happy birthday once more. GOT7 returned to their dorm while the trio headed off to their own room to crash. Staying up late has definitely become routine with good company.
