Artwork of Ultra Sword Kirby unleashing an attack on Traitor Magolor, similar to the button-mashing scene from the equivalent fight in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and its Deluxe remake. This is featured in the Kirby of the Stars light novel series book based on Kirby's Return to Dream Land, named "Kirby of the Stars- The Starcutter and the Lying Wizard" which is also known as "Kirby of the Stars: Lor Starcutter and a Magician of Falsehood" (April 2022). Note: The title of the light novel is only available in Japanese and I am therefore using the titles seen in a well-known fan translation and another from Wikirby, as they will be the titles most people know it as.

Round 5, Match 1: Splatana Stamper vs. Magolor's Ultra Sword

The Splatana Stamper is an ink-based sword designed to look like a wheeled date stamp mixed with a chainsaw. Since its blade is made of stamps, all of its slashing power is derived from the ink that coats its business end. Every time you swing it, it shoots a slash-shaped ink projectile that acts as its main source of damage and travels surprisingly far, with the added damage from the blade itself in melee range being more of a bonus. When you charge it up before swinging, its ink slash will be twice as powerful and travel slightly farther but move through the air more slowly, and getting hit with the blade itself becomes an instant kill.

The Ultra Sword is a gigantic sword fueled by dimensional magic. It can break the strongest shields in a few hits. It can be summoned at any time, and due to its large size it works effectively as both an area-of-effect attack and a finishing blow. It is not just a powerful weapon but also a symbolic memento for its wielder, Magolor.

Extremely humorous thought: Imagine a sword-dueling battle between Meta Knight and Magolor.

I interpret that Meta Knight enjoys sparring with other people A LOT. He's prideful and loves to fight, and sparring is a good way to give him more and more fighting expertise over time.

And then there's Magolor, another prideful person.

Two egomaniacs sparring.

Why do I call this an extremely humorous thought, you may ask?

Take a look at the sword Magolor uses in Star Allies. That insanely gigantic Ultra Sword. The same one that Kirby uses in RTDL. Magolor, for some bizarre reason, is allowed to use that same beast several games later.

... Something tells me that there might be a chance that Meta Knight's ego gets damaged if he were to have a sword-duel with Magolor, comparing the sizes of their swords. Doesn't exactly help that Magolor has a big ego like he does.
