The first interview with Rupert Grint has been released by MetroNews UK today. Emma Kelly had the chance to sat down and talk to him about his latest project “Snatch”.

In this conversation, Rupert mentions the challenge of turning one of the most well known Guy Ritchie’s movie into a tv series. 

“It’s always difficult when you’re making something that’s so loved. Especially in the UK, it’s one of those films that’s always quoted. This is a completely new reimagining, the punchy dialogue has come over from the original but that’s it. But a lot has changed in 17 years.”

He also shared details about his character’s family background and let us know his thoughts about Charlie Cavendish-Scott’s distinctive style.

“His dad grows marijuana in the basement. His mum has these strange rendezvous with various men. All of the characters, they come from quite dysfunctional backgrounds and are trying to find a family with each other.”
