You mentioned that the teachers were forcibly turned into puppets, what were they like before?

okokok so uh I had an old post in which I did talk abt who the teachers used to be buuut uh I looked at the old post and OH MY GOSH IS THE INFO THERE SO OUTDATED LMAO- So I’m just gonna uh- redo that post lol- anywho I also did some doodles of past teachers but I didn’t draw all of them not will I touch on each of them (some because they didn’t have much of a significant role to include here (like the remainder of the health band), others because I’m still figuring it out (like shrig), and some because- well- they didn’t even have a past!! (Like lamp)) but I did do a few tweaks on these guy’s backstories alongside their designs!! Now anywho I’ll show you who these guys were and give a slight backstory to each of them (keep in mind, I won’t go super in depth with all of these guys, I hope you don’t mind) but anywho, onto the rambling!!

first off we are starting with Sketch!! Now in the past they were known as Nate Brooks!

So this was them and, as you can see, they are a Red guy (or they actually aren’t red- in fact their fur/hair was white :3) however, unlike other Red guys, their creativity was through the roof!! Alongside that they were super optimistic and were never afraid of showing their true self even in front of their colleagues! Now Nate was still pretty young when they were put into the machine (they were 20) and hey had just started working for jobs however- the jobs that were available for them wasnt many nor were those jobs fitting for their career path (which was artistic stuff… which Red guys aren’t very huge about-) So as it was they were looking for an artistic job that they could truly enjoy which is when Roy came into the picture… Roy offered them a spot on his show, being both a puppeteer and puppet maker/artist for the show!! Now Nate joined not long before Red so when they had met they became friends fairly quickly! Nate even played the first puppet Red and introduced upon his arrival!! They were super enthusiastic and happy about this job… if only they knew what was to happen later on…

Now next here’s our favorite Clock!! Anthony (Tony for short) Clockswork-Locksmith!! (He has two last names due to marriage stuff :P)

Now Anthony Clockswork was- well- not huge in the artistic business like the others who worked on the puppet show were- Now a bit of background knowledge on him first!! Now Tony came from a family full of engineers and mechanics so he already had quite an interest in mechanics and such however he had a bigger interest in mind, clocks! Since he was younger he loved making clocks, when he grew older he opened up a mini shop for clocks and such and one day he ran out of metal supplies and he went to a metal working shop when he met his future husband, Steven Locksmith (cough cough- mean Steve- cough-) now these two soon joined businesses and fell in love blah blah blah- but now Tony and Steve Locksmith owned the top clock and metal store in the whole town!!! Or… at least for a while- eventually business began running slower as more people started using tech and Tony and Steve began struggling with their store. Tony was desperate to keep their shop open and “luckily” a certain business man heard of their struggles… Roy offered a temporary job. This job offered some extra support for Tony, extra money, it would be enough to help keep his business alive… now Tony was skeptical if this whole job deal but… he was desperate.. he took the deal and started working for Roy. Now his time working for the puppet show wasn’t too interesting, really he was more concerned and focused on his own business, but at first he worked as a tech guy alongside Colin and a timekeeper type person for the show aswell. However later on in production he was given the role of a clock character! He grew more dedicated and positive towards the show after this, plus now he had friends!! Things for his own business were now looking up too!! Everything was great… such a shame it all had to go downhill…

Now we have Colin Cyberbeck!!

So this was Colin!! Back before becoming a computery guy infested with computer viruses he was actually a pretty chill clevery guy! Now, similarly to Tony, Colin was born into a family really interested in technology however they leaned moreso to modern technology (like phones, computers, etc.) So Colin was always a tech guy!! However, he began to break off from his family’s business and began seeking out for a way to start his own business instead!! He still was in the process of this when he met Roy nor did he successfully leave his family’s workplace either. He was working a simpler less fun job upon meeting Roy, surveys, clipboards, NOT working on his passion- now that’s what he was doing and he actually met Roy through a survey in fact!! Now Roy, of course, found a way to convince Colin to join his puppet show and- you may be thinking- why would Colin join? This show is about puppets not technology!!! Well that’s what Colin had thought at first until Roy mentioned that they were in need of someone to handle filming, lighting, and things of that nature! After that Colin joined in an instant, besides this gave him a chance to work on something new and prepare him for starting his own business! Or.. at least that’s what the plan originally was- Anywho so Colin started working for Roy!! His main job was to work with most of the technology stuff in the show’s production like editing, sound effects, filming, and those are just a few examples of what he did!!! Colin eventually even got his own puppet dubbed “Colin the Computer”!! Things were going great!! Plus now he had nearly enough money to start his own business… however… we all know by now things didn't stay happy...

Next up is Daniel Cook aka steak (the rest of the food band I’m not really including here since they don’t have as big of a role but in case you were wondering there’s Fredrick (fridge), Sammy/Sam (spinach), and Ben (bread boy :3))

Ok so Daniel and the rest of his family’s case is interesting mainly because, unlike nearly all the other people who encountered Roy, he didn’t end up working for Roy- heck- in fact Daniel didn’t even like Roy in the first place!!! Now I’ll just summarize who the food band was as a whole before I get into the backstory behind how they became teachers. So the food family (which is what I’ll be calling the food band here) we’re a small family which made food for schools and those who were in need of it. We had Daniel who focused on meats, Sam who focused on veggies and fruits, and Fredrick and Ben who focused on breads and pastries. Now the food family did lots of bake sales for charity and would give out free food occasionally and this caught the eye of Roy. Roy offered to sponsor them, he would give them money to “give away” foods from his company or more so he wanted them to sell his products which isn’t what they stood for whatsoever. Roy then offered them a job at his food company which was an offer the family declined, they didn’t know this man and they weren’t gonna let him run how they did business. Days carried on, they got more and more offers from Roy but each time they declined. They continued what they loved regardless. Now eventually June 19th comes rolling up and Roy realizes he needs to get rid of Duck or at least find a way to separate them from the rest of the trio but he had no teachers he could use at that time.. then he remembered the food family… now Roy found teachers who not only could outnumber the trio (or duo since Red is gone) but also separate yellow and duck… and punish them both accordingly- however there was an issue- he didn’t have any connections with this family nor did he think they would be willing to “join his show” so.. he would have to do this through force- luckily Roy isn’t too unfamiliar with kidnapping! (Ughhh I hate this man-) so yes, he kidnaps the food family and forcefully makes them become the food gang which is where Dhmis 5 begins.

now there are two teachers (not including the pilot teachers) that I did not include here, Shrignold and Lamp. Now for Shrig I didn’t include him cuz I’m actually in the process of rewriting his backstory cuz I don’t necessarily like the backstory I wrote for him in the past and I didn’t want to make the wait for my answer longer nor did I want to give you a rushed backstory that I would later claim as false so I didn’t include his backstory here because of that, I hope you don’t mind!! And Lamp… actually didn’t have a past self!! He is one of the very few teachers who didn’t have a non teacher counterpart before becoming a teacher. Lamp was actually a real lamp that little Doi used to love! (And of course Roy decided to traumatize his kid by using this Lamp to nearly kill Doi because just of course Roy freaking would-). But yeah!! I hope you don’t mind I didn’t include these two here! ^^

Anywho I hope you enjoyed my rambling and I’m sorry this took so long to answer!! I uh went full rambling mode on this one lol- but still hope you enjoyed reading this though!!! ^^ (also if I made no sense I’m sorry my rambles can get confusing also i wrote this over the course of a lot of days so I’m sorry XD)

at first i thought this was sent to my spam and was like….. “very weird moment to send an ask about a now deleted post made almost 12 hours ago” BUT then i realized

i am very okay!!!! i’ve been seeing a lot of posts in the sdra tags recently that have me a bit like… side eyeing some people but. my minor crisis’s/“wh… where are you guys hearing this information?” aside, yeas!! mostly it is just funny, but it’s never like… emotionally weighing on me ajsjsjs

i have been…. gennntly considering like. answering the asks i have now and then closing my inbox and making this blog inactive (just keeping it up as an archive) cuz. liiike. it’s hard being in the fandom as long as i have because i see a new person and boom they’re interacting with six people who i know to be pro shippers/in some cases. literal abusers, and so then i feel icky interacting with them/don’t reach out, and then i blink and there’s 30 new friend groups, and it’s just… a Lot?

buuut. ya know. ultimately, i’ve been here since imaginefanganronpas and that whole group, been here through all the insta drama, been here for wikitoria and vvao and on and on and like. akskkdkdkdks i’ll probably never leave, even if sometimes the environment is. a bit stressful to be in. 

i feel like a lot of people who are active right now don’t have context/information on linuj and sdra2 past. the very very basic game, and so like. the experience they’re having with it as people who are getting english translations of dra and sdra2 and can consume everything as quickly as possible is very different to the one i had when like. getting into the game as people were working on dissecting the chapter that had just released, and dra still had like… only the prologue translated. 

uhhh tl;dr - the tumblr fandom is more active now than it’s been in a long while and it’s full of people with a very different understanding of sdra than i have, who i’m not always…. keen on interacting with because they tend to interact with people who i know to be gross but who are good at hiding this, and it’s just. a lot! if i reached out and chatted im sure things would be fine but for assorted reasons, it’s hard to do that.

i need to be more conscientious of the different understandings people have but it’s always been hard for me to process the scope of people who see my posts and to account for what they’re bringing with them when they come to talk to me,, rlly i just need to work up the energy to make my analysis posts and talk to people but. aksjdjdjkd yk 

(also regarding my energy sucking/my not wanting to reach out to people: there is reasons for that but i’m going to talk to my counselor. literally in less than 24 hours and i hope that then i’ll like….. b able to get something done about all that so! it’s okay <3)

…tldr again: ultimately everything’s okay im just stressed and i’ve and rlly rlly bad experiences here before (as we all know akskdksk) so it makes handling the reasons i’m side eyeing people harder, and it’s harder to get over those past fears rn because im. Really Stressed ajsjdjsj.

Blue, like my hair

Brussel sprouts and tomatoes. Just, no.

Too cold, always and all the time, I need like 3 blankts on me at all times to make it through winter and two the rest of the year. All of this is while wearing pants and a sweater.

Talking to a friend online, still doing that haha

I love chocolate tbh, probably something like kit kats? Plain chocolate is great too though

Nope

“Ok I’m gonna head to my room, have fun guys!” My sister’s boyfriend is here, they’re watching a movie together in the livingroom.

Hmmm, I really love chocolate. There’s a place in my town that has a kind with brownie bits and fudge swirled in, it’s amazing, I love that one

Yeah but only by a few miles at most

The idea of old bullies coming back somehow, the idea of my family being hurt somehow, and never being able to make and keep good friends for longer than a couple years. Those are a few that I know off the top of my head.

My teddy bear I keep on my bed for my bad anxiety days. He’s very huggable

Hmm. I don’t like doing the dishes for sure, I have to do that every day, or sometimes every other day if there’s not many to do. Don’t like laundry or shoveling the driveway when it snows either

Saturdays, i usually get some time to myself then. I didn’t get that this Saturday though, too much work it spilled out into the weekend, but I did get a little today.

So sweet it barely even tastes like coffee.

My mismatching red and blue converse with black laces.

Sunrise. Everything is quiet and you’re still a little sleepy and it’s probably a bit cold if you’re on the beach, and that’s perfect.

Three because I’m a touch-starved bag of twigs that’s constantly cold.

Some are blue and are made of plastic, some are white and made of ceramic or glass or whatever cheap plates are made of.

Lots of cabinets, an old toaster oven and a stand up mixer in the corner, window over a deep sink, next to that a dishwasher. Counters are a brown marbley kind that make it impossible to tell if it’s dirty or not.

Not old enough to drink, nope

Eh? My family likes 3-13 and Egyptian war, but board games are our favorite.

We have two, both every very old. One is a red little one, the other is a tan minivan.

I... don’t know. I’ve moved around quite a bit, live in different parts of CA, lived up in WA, now I live in PA. I’d say WA because it feels like I can relate to a lot of people there, like WA people are my kinda people ya know? And it’s so beautiful and has just so many things I love in it... But that’s also where most of my bullies were. So every time I think about it it always has that shadow because I was miserable half the time. But PA isn’t my favorite because the people here are so different from me, and CA isn’t my favorite because my extended family lives there and they’re Very Not Cool. I’ve had bullies in both those places as well too, but not as bad as WA. So uh... I don’t know, I suppose. 

49. favorite job you’ve had?

Never had a job unfortunately, my parents said I couldn’t get one till after High School cuz they wanted me to focus on school, and then, halfway through my senior year, a pandemic happened. Yay Class Of 2020! Anyway, I haven’t gotten a job because if I don’t need it, I don’t want to get one and potentially but myself, my family, and other people at risk, even though having the extra money would be nice.

4. Where are you from? Where do you live now?

Well, I was born ‘n Texas, though I only spent a couple years there then dad took me back here! “Here” as in the Mojave oops... 

5. What was your childhood like?

Hmm don’t remember a lot before I was in the Mojave, dad doesn’t like to talk about it and I’m never sure what’s a memory and what ‘m just imagining. Mojave is nice though! 

6. What groups are you friendly with? Are you allied with any factions?

Like to think most everyone! People in freeside are pretty nice, I know the ncr likes me! Though... sometimes people in westside give me weird looks ‘n mutter stuff at me...

7. Tell me about your best friend.

 Oh!! Arcade has been my closest friend for the longest time! Boone’s a close second but uhhh ‘Cade knew me when I was still lernin’ to read so he gets first place... though there’s not much to say about him...

Never knew my mom, and dad doesn’t like to tell me what happened to her... and my biological dad is uhh... ya know lets not talk about that! But my dad dad is the best!! I don’t trust anyone like i trust him!! Plus dad part 2 is a colonel so that’s fun!!!

Hehe well I have Boone! He’s great! He listens when I talk even if I’m not talking about anythin’ he cares about ‘n he doesn’t mind that ‘m so clingy ‘n that sometimes i bring home random animals ‘n... also legion kids i stole... OH AND he lets me cuddle even if he’s not tired ‘n it’s like he’s always there when i need help or if ‘m in trouble! He’s great idk what I would do without him! (she could keep talking but i doubt you wanna hear her keep talking)

10. Who are your enemies, and why?

Man ‘enemies’ is such a harsh word... too bad ‘s not harsh enough for how i feel ‘bout raiders.

11. Have you ever heard of The Brotherhood of Steel? What do you think about them?

Most everyone is the ncr says they’re bad ‘n need to be eliminated.. but Veronica has never been anything but kind to me so they can’t be too bad I guess.

Hmm yeah I’ve uhhh I’ve heard about them...

13. How do you feel about Super Mutants?

The big angry guys? I like ‘em! Some of them can be a little mean but dad used to take me to Jacobstown a lot and Marcus and Lily are both super sweet!! Some of the nightkin can be a little grouchy but I think it’s best if I just stay away and let them be mad away from me.

14. What’s the craziest fight you’ve ever been in?

OH!! I’ve been in lots of crazy fights!!! Killing Caesar was fun! So was Lanius! Gettin’ my burn sucked but at least I gotta kill the raiders! All the bounties that Dhatri told me not to go after that I did anyway! I’ve had lots of good times!

15. Have you ever fought a Deathclaw?

Yep!! It’s wild they’re so much bigger up close!!! 

16. Do you like fighting?

Depends on who it is and why I’m fightin’ I guess!! 

17. What’s your weapon of choice?

Golf clubs!! Or machetes or bats or anythin’ kinda heavy I can hit people with!!! Guns are a no go... they hurt my lip..

I like to think I’ve very charismatic! But i know for sure I’m strong! I know most people don’t believe me but I’d say I’m fairly smart as well! I was almost a doctor!!

The only vaults I’ve been to are the broken ones... they’re spooky... plus I hate the elevators

20. How do you beat all the radiation around here? Has it affected you?

Well usually I just don’t go near super irradiated places! Sometimes I have to so I make sure i have lots of meds and the right gear!

Nightstalkers are fun!!! I have a little one I got from that place that took my brain!

Robots are fun!!! One did save me after all.

A couple thousand. Nothin’ too much right now.

Sarsaparilla tastes better but Nuka has a lot of fun flavors!

Julie makes me take these meds every so often cuz she says it’ll help my head, but nothin’ beyond that.

Only all the time!!! I love those old pin ups and all the clothes!! Those ladies were all so pretty!!!

I don’t really wanna talk about that...

I’m pretty happy with the things I’ve been able to do with the ncr and the folks around the Mojave!

Something that gets on your nerves: This happened a lot when I was on vacation recently - people who lack self-awareness and do not care that they are standing in your way. I live in a big city so we are used to the hustle and bustle and getting from point A to point B in seconds. I went to visit the national parks in Utah and people would constantly clog the hiking trails by just STANDING THERE instead of going to the side. The worst was when we would be standing on a steep, narrow path. I’m not trying to plummet to my death, y’all.

i wanna tag uhhh @orgyforone @sweetiefiend @theseusinthemaze and whoever else that follows me that wants to do this, i don’t want to impose!! 

1. wip #1 (“and start again”) is a three-part thing about arin & co living in a little oregon town where arin is the elementary school art teacher and dan is a single dad to a seven or eight year old

The farmers’ market starts the first Saturday of September and ends the last Saturday of November.  It’s always been that way - it’s certainly been that way since he moved here, six years old and starting out the season in shorts and a t-shirt and ending it bundled up behind the little stall his mom rented to sell bread and muffins out of.  He’s made it a longstanding habit to get up early on Saturdays year-round, and it pays off by the time fall rolls around - he’s almost always the first person to get his stall set up on the town square.

It isn’t that he has anything very interesting to sell.  There are other gardeners and farmers with better tomatoes, and Mrs. Culver talks about different breeds and cross-strains of blueberries like his mom used to talk about horses, and anybody with opposable thumbs can grow herbs like he does, even if he does have twice as much mint and lemon balm as anyone else because he let it overgrow a couple summers back and never did get around to wrangling it back to a more manageable level.  He kind of likes the way it looks, more garden than yard on three sides of his little house.

“Hey,” Ama’s dad says, “I’m sure Mr. Hanson has stuff to do,” even though Arin’s pretty visibly not doing anything other than talking to them.  Arin takes a moment to look him over while he’s distracted by his kid: they might be the same age - Arin might be a little older - but he looks harried, Arin thinks, and thin in a way that suggests he’s getting over a long illness rather than that he tries to stay that way.  He’s pretty, in a skinny sort of way, with Ama’s long face and curly dark hair.  

2. wip #2 is a record/bookstore au; dan is a former opiate addict whose grandparents/parents set him up with a small shop to run so that he would have something to occupy his time that wasn’t drugs (and set him up with an “employee” aka babysitter in the form of barry, who’s grandma probably went to shul with danny’s or something); arin moves to new jersey, which is as far away from los angeles and his cheating jerk ex-boyfriend as he can get without leaving the country, and ends up spending maybe too much time in this weird little shop; also, arin has a dog

(Part of him is aware what a romantic comedy this is - the whole post-breakup-get-a-dog thing - but there’s not a ton about his life that feels romantic <i>or</i> funny right now, so maybe that specific cliche isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.)

The guy at the front desk seems delighted that he's coming in with the express purpose of adopting a dog.  "If you don't fall in love with someone today," he says after he gets Arin's basic information, "we can get your email or your number or, like, your Facebook or whatever, we get surrenders all the time.  But we've got a really, really great group in right now."

He's short-ish, with a dense scrub of dark beard and bright, clever brown eyes, and his nametag says <i>Hi, I’m Barry</i>.  He's cute, Arin thinks, but there's no spark of legitimate interest like there might have been a couple years ago back home.  <i>Back in California</i>, he corrects himself inside his head.  He leads Arin with a surety through the shelter, past offices and vet tech rooms until they get to the actual anima holding areas.  

"Are you thinking, like," Barry says, "a puppy?  Size preference?"

"Not a puppy," Arin says immediately, because the little brown-and-white terrier puppy that's eyeing him from a couple kennels down is cute as shit, but he's never actually owned a dog by himself before.  "Do you have, like.  A beginner dog?"

3. cw for domestic abuse, skip to the next one if you aren’t cool w it; wip #3 is yet another normal-world-never-famous au where ross and arin are art students in philly and dan works a series of odd jobs in between open mic nights; arin befriends him and gradually tries to ease him away from his piece of shit boyfriend (mostly i want to write about the dynamics of a bad relationship where at least one half of the relationship cares about the other despite being able to acknowledge the toxicity/abuse and avoid the trope where there’s One Final Straw and they make a clean break the first time and live happily ever after)

There’s a chunk of hair ripped out, Arin thinks, and then realizes faintly that it’s not hair, it’s scalp, too, that there’s dried blood matted into his mess of curls, dry and flaky under his fingertips when he reaches to touch it.  Dan jerks away infinitesimally, breathes in, careful, and seems to make himself relax.  

“Sorry,” he says, and when he looks up, Arin can see the hemorrhage in his left eye, a little explosion of scarlet that makes his breath catch in his throat.  He still smiles, though, and it’s small and tight around the edges but almost believable.  “Sorry, that’s - uh - that’s pretty gross.  Sorry.”

4. wip #4 is weird and way overambitious; tl;dr egobang medieval semi-realistic fantasy where arin gets the attention of the seely court and gets arin-napped and dan, who is wildly unsuited for rescue missions, has to venture through the fae forest to get him back 

Morning comes cold and wet to the farm. Mist hangs low over the pastures and stables, clinging to the gardens like a lover; Dan wraps his cloak more snugly around himself before he steps outside, burying his fingers in the thick grey fur lining in search of the cords that lace it tighter.  It's Arin's cloak, made for someone far broader of shoulder, but there’s no one there to see how foolish he looks in a cloak twice his size. The wind from the east is brisk and cold, and it only seems to grow colder as he checks everyone over: the chickens first, who flutter their wings at him and cackle the news of the morning’s bounty - and the goats, the little doeling and her mother, who nips at his sleeve and vainly tugs him forward to her stall - and then all fourteen of the horses, the handful of colts and their nosing mothers and the three raw-boned geldings, ready to be traded.  Ice clings to the very tops of the long grass in the near pasture, and crunches under his feet as he walks the fenceline.

It seems lonely in a way that the farm rarely does.  He lingers in the barn with the hens, scatters more barley than usual so that they peck and prance around his feet, and even offers a handful to the goat doeling.  <i>It’s the cold,</i> he decides.  The doeling snuffles at his empty palm and bleats, a thin, piteous little noise.  Reflexively, he reaches into the bag for another palm’s worth.  <i>The cold has come too early, and without Arin - </i>

He stops himself there, shakes his head as if that will shake the thought away from it.  He’s given to spells of melancholy, and has been since he was young: they’re worse when Arin is gone away, but he only has only one more day to wait.  

so yes those are the myriad things i am Struggling with!!  tbh if any of those catch yr fancy send me an ask, if people seem like they’re more interested in one over the other it will probably be Much easier for me to write them lmao

I actually have no idea… I don’t even remember the proper story anymore cuz despite it not being several years it was still quite a few years ago when I was still in.. middle school perhaps? That my school mates were talking about it and I asked my elder sibling who showed me random episodes, going by the least violent ones so I wouldn’t get nightmares.. so yeah I have no idea what season I first saw or what season was out exactly when I began watching random episodes. I only stared watching properly since last year 2. Who was the first character you fell in love with? 
Sam… he’s such a goddamn puppy that it’s hard not to like him!!! 3. Who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love?: 
Omg so many. I remember making a post about how the writers kill iff characters that were initially annoying but right as they started growing on us - bam. Dead
But ok maybe the first example was Bela… she actually was of course starting to grow o me by the time she died.. but the character that comes most immediately to mind because of how strongly I hated them… was Rowena. God she had been simply infuriating - I hated her so much for manipulating Crowley and threatening whatever good relationship he had with the Winchesters, that I wished she would die… but then come season 11 I fell absolutely I love with the woman 4. Which character would you most want to be in a long-term relationship with? 
Eep I have no fucking idea… fuck idk.. mm I never during my daydreams imagine myself with my fictional characters but if I had to choose… ugh maybe. Ok Dean is loyal and Sam is a puppy but idk it feels weird coming in between them… Cass is pretty amazing but… ugh fuck it maybe oh ok why not.. Charlie? Yeah. Charlie for sure, she’s amazing, pretty damn amazing with technology, I sure as hell wouldn’t mind her teaching me how to hack or everything about Star Trek or whatnot, seeing as I’ve never watched them (le gasp, the outrage! I know I know) Or hell maybe even Sam cuz he’s pretty soft and everything (but also great in bed obviously) idk I can’t imagine myself with Dean cuz he would be more awesome with someone who can actually take care of themselves for real you know? Whereas Sam has always paired nicely with women in a domestic life - though they did end up dying… gah idk 🤷‍♀️ 5. If you could go on a date with just one character, which one would you choose?:
Dean. Easily Dean there, cuz even if it’s one date, I’m sure he’ll make it worth it, sexy or not because he’s a damn attentive guy.. 6. What would you do on that date? 
A first date or like after a few? Cuz if it’s after a few I wouldn’t mind a nature hike cuz goddamn do I love those… but for a first Idk I’d feel too self conscious. Maybe a good movie… maybe the beach… some cuddles and some good food and talking quietly to each other in the night under the moon and stars with a soft breeze 😊 7. Which character would you most want to be like?: 
Hm. Any strong female roles out there? Yeah that seriously narrows it down but real talk.. I’m torn between Charlie and Rowena.. ugh maybe Charlie. uh torn between Amara and Metatron. God I kinda hated season 11 because of her, it was a bit of a drag to get through but god Metatron was so. Damn. Annoying. 12. Which character are you most like?: 
Oh god I have no idea, they’re all way too amazing people for me to compare with them. Uhhh maybe… eep Idk Lisa? 😕 idk I’m not even sure if I’m brave much tbh but if not her then.. idk maybe Chuck before the end of season 5? 😐 idk 13. What death hit you the hardest? 
Honestly because I kinda already knew about everyone who was going to die until season 12, because like I had to catch up with the show and that meant big watching 11 seasons before the 12th came out. So that means 11 seasons f knowing who already dies for the most part… but I guess.. ok Charlie, idr if I knew she died but it hurt me a lot because I hated the fact that she died, and even more so what it did to the boys. And then every time Dean died, mainly seasons 3 and 9’s finale, and goddamn how broken up Sam got about it at those times… fuck those killed me but I guess they were more of the heart wrenching scenes then death specifically that hurt me. 
But of course. Cass. Cuz I had obviously. So. Not. Seen. It. Coming. I barely managed I avoid screaming and after… it took me a couple of hours to even remotely get to mouth shut 14. What season finale hit you the hardest?: 
Season 9 and 12, reasons stated above^^^ especially 12 cuz hiatus!!!!! 15. What are your ten all-time favorite episodes?:

 i’m sittin’ here at tori’s bakery shop. it’s raining outside, like always. got a plate of that butts pie im so fond of. it’s good, but(t) could use more butts. table I’m sitting at is uhhh… looks like a table. yep, sturdy. round? It’s round. that’s how these things go. you describe all the stuff here, right?

it’s pretty late here. no one’s around at this time of night. tori’s nice enough to let me hang out after closing and feed me the leftovers she didn’t sell, and I’m cheap enough to take ‘em. she really goats me, i guess.

usually tori would be swappin’ bad jokes with me right now, but she’s been pretty busy since that trial ended. turns out, no one was willing to take over the family’s duties after ol’ gorey got sent away. Not even fish face. kinda expected her to take over. guess she’s too busy playin’ detective with my bro.

tori, bein’ the nice lady she is, decided she’d take up leadership. probably for the best. if anyone can manage building homes for the poor and being generally kind to all us monsters, it’s her. i certainly don’t know what bein’ the leader entails, and im not exactly rarin’ to find out.

although, between you and me, it does get a bit more boring in the shop without her around. oh well. guess that’s why im writing this, isn’t it?

it’s so boring, i don’t think I even have anything left to write. dang. guess i’ll just go back to writing bad jokes.

 Why didn’t the Flower eat chloroform?

He was chlorofull.

 heh. really havin’ a bad time tryin’ to think of something other than flowers.

 maybe it’s cuz I’ve been thinking about my good pal, flowey, a lot lately. can’t blame a guy, can you? tori literally has him on her person at all times.

  Well. Most of the times.

 I don’t think Tori knows it, but that little scamp escapes sometimes when she’s not lookin’. Heh, but it’s not like he’d get into any trouble, now would he? No, no, that doesn’t sound like the good natured Flowey I know. His parents would never allow him to get into any trouble.

His parents would probably protect him from anything. Even though he didn’t see ol’ Gorey much, I get the feeling Flowey’s dad really cared about him…and I mean really cared for him.

I shouldn’t be gossiping. But, it’s not like anyone is going to read this anyway, right? There’s nothing wrong with writing down some of my own little speculations. Just a hypothesis, is all.

Now, while I’m sure Gorey was quite the nice guy, he did some awful things. Maybe he did them because he thought they were right. Maybe he did those things knowing it was wrong, but believed it was for a good cause. Honestly, can’t say I blame him all that much either way.

This leads us back to the trial, though. Boy, that trial was objectively a good time. I’m so proud of my bro. He proved me wrong a number of times. If it weren’t for him and fish sticks, I probably would have sent an innocent person away.

Instead, I sent a not-quite-innocent person away.

Heh. heh. Tori had me promise I’d be a fair judge. A good judge. She told me to take it seriously, don’t mess around, don’t favor anyone. Me, like the bonehead I am, I promised her I would.

Why do I keep making promises I know I’m just going to break?

Oh. Spoilers, I guess. I broke that promise towards the end of the case. I don’t think Asgore killed that Burger fella. In fact, I’m pretty sure he didn’t. Still, I let them convict ol’ Fluffybuns.

I wasn’t sure what happened until he took the stand of course, till I heard all the facts from metal head and fish face. The ideas, the guesses, they were always in the back of my skull, gnawing away in the dark, but I suppose I’m good at ignoring things like that.

Something needed to be done with Asgore, after all. He needed to stop those little bad habits of his. I couldn’t see a more peaceful solution than this. Us monsters have never really needed to make a jail, after all. They were strangely forgiving, even knowing what he did.

The monsters in charge of the judicial system, (Mettaton, Gertrude, myself and a few others) decided we’d keep him under house arrest. At least, that’s kind of the best way to describe it. He’s not allowed to leave his home, not really allowed to do anything without The Family (aka Tori) knowing. People can still come visit him, ask him for advice, make a bit of tea, but that’s about it.

So I get what you’re thinking. Asgore (supposedly) kills an innocent kid. A monster kid no less. He only gets house arrest? He got off easy. Well, to be honest, we thought about the death penalty. It was an uncomfortable subject and it was clear there was no monster out there that would be able to carry it out.

Well, heh, guess that’s not completely true. 

The guy’s pretty sad still. But, I think he’s feeling a little better. He’s left to those plants and flowers he loves so much. Not many come to visit him, though, but I think they’ll come around. This is probably the happiest ending that could come out of the situation, isn’t it?

Still, if Asgore didn’t kill that monster, though, who did? Who did, I wonder? And why?

Once again, I want to remind anyone reading this (but no one is reading this, so it doesn’t matter) that this is all speculation. I don’t have any proof, and I never witnessed anything myself.

But…

I get the feeling my pal, Flowey, killed Burgerpants. Strange, I know. Very strange. Flowey is such a cheerful, happy, helpful little friend, isn’t he? Why would he ever do something like that?

Well, first, we need to understand why he was with Asgore at the scene of the crime that night. I have a hunch. I think ol’ Gorey finally got enough of what he wanted out of his little bad habits. I think he wanted to give the fruits of his effort to Flowey, hoping that maybe it’d turn his son back to normal.

Problem with that, is Tori wouldn’t let Asgore near Flowey. She was very adamant, believe me, the arguments those two would get into got pretty heated. (get it, cuz fire magic) But, my good friend, Flowey, he’s a crafty little guy. He’s made some escapes; he’s gotten into contact with his father before without his mother’s knowledge.

How do I know that? Just a hunch, that’s all. What? I’m not the type to stalk people.

This brings us to that fateful night. If I had to guess what the scene would be, it’d probably be like this:

The rain musta been pouring like it always is. Asgore probably waited in that alley way for a good amount of time, without an umbrella. He was soaked to the bone, but poor Gorey felt he deserved it. He had soul and he had determination.

Once Flowey actually showed up, he probably did that sickly sweet thing he likes to do. Call him “daddy” and all that nonsense, really get into Asgore’s head. It must have been difficult seeing his son like this, but I bet Asgore was thinking it’d all be worth it. All those horrible things he did, all of it would be worth it if he could see his son again.

Although, thinking on it, human souls and determination are all well and good, right? You can do some great things with those on your side, but isn’t it missing one important ingredient?

Right, right, I forgot. A monster’s soul.

Flowey doesn’t have one of those, now does he?

Still hypothetically speaking here, of course… Asgore knew all this. He knew a monster soul would probably be needed. But, I don’t think he meant for it to be Burgerpants. I don’t think Asgore planned on giving any monster’s soul but his own.

Flowey, being the precocious scamp that he is, also knew a monster soul would be necessary. This whole thing was probably just a misunderstanding.

Poor Burgerpants, though. Wrong place, wrong time. How can a guy be so unlucky? Hey, whenever I’m feeling down, at least I can remind myself some other guy had it way worse.

Anyway, this Burgerpants fella shows up, and here’s what I think happens. Flowey misunderstands the situation. Or maybe he didn’t care. Maybe those dark habits of Asgore rubbed off on him in that moment. Maybe Flowey was just feeling particularly grumpy that day. Who knows? I certainly can’t read that flower’s mind. Don’t want to either. Hope I never do.

Flowey kills Burgerpants on the spot before Asgore can even react. A huge vine, full of thorns, slams him into the dumpster. Looks like a claw mark (or maybe a trident mark), heh. Now, remember, little flower boy is the son of two incredibly powerful fire users. Even if it wasn’t on purpose, I think he’s still got a little heated edge to his attacks. Explains why the time of death couldn’t be figured out. Dust was still hot. No one expected fire magic.

This frightens Asgore. This was meant to be his son, Asriel? How could this cruel being before him claim to be his son, yet be so full of hate? Maybe Asgore blamed himself at that moment.

Either way, he couldn’t go through with it after that. Maybe everything he did would go to waste, maybe those humans died for nothing, but he couldn’t keep making mistakes, now could he? Just because he buried a hole so deep for himself, didn’t mean he had to keep digging and take everyone with him, right?

Probably good thinking, I’d say. Best thinking he’d done in a while.

I’ll bet Flowey lost that sweet charm of his after that. I’ll bet he demanded those souls and that Determination from Asgore. “Why won’t you give it to me?! I’m your son!” he probably said. Maybe even threatened him when things didn’t go his way.

Asgore must have been feeling real bad at that time, but you gotta remember, through it all, he is still a father. A father disciplines his child. For the first time in years, maybe even ever, I think Asgore raised his voice at Flowey. I think he told Flowey “Go home to your mother, never speak of this again.”

“I’m not going anywhere until I get my --”

“I said GO!”

And just like that, Flowey was afraid. He’d never seen his father like this. Ol’ Fluffybuns actually mad? Boy, almost wish I coulda seen that.

But I didn’t.

Flowey must have dug back into the ground, running away to his mama while papa cleaned up after his mess.

Heh, it’s a good thing no one else figured it out, right? If Tori found out about this, would she be able to live with herself, I wonder? I have no idea what she might do. What would everyone think if they found out Flowey was a killer?

I think it’d be a lot of trouble for the little guy. I think he knows better now, though. I don’t think he’s ever going to hurt anyone again, or else he’ll have a pretty bad time.

Luckily, this is all guess work. No one has to know. No one needs to mess up this happy ending we got. No one’s going to read this.

 guess this is just between you and me, isn’t it, pal?

The notepad had appeared on his bedroom table that night. Flowey knew it wasn’t on accident. He read the thing, read through the crappy jokes and the even crappier handwriting. His leaves trembled slightly, his vision blurred multiple times.

With an angry toss, the notepad slammed into the lit fireplace. The flames ignored it completely, of course. Toriel’s fire was never hot enough to burn.

With the grit of his teeth and the furrow of a brow, the fireplace erupted in flames. The notepad was devoured, disintegrated.

Turned to dust.

The thought unnerved him, haunted his mind. It was best to douse those flames now, forget it ever happened.

The fire cackled at him.

And the rain poured.

That smiley trashbag…
