Okay, so I read it, and I do agree. It is more of a PR exercise than a documentary. But I also think that they are not trying to be anything else. It is a very unabashed celebration of YRF, and the cinema Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra have made. I don't think they are trying to hide it. They are not. Yes, calling it a docuseries is weird, and not really correct, and I think my own biases also come into play.

I did however cringe when they did the whole nepotism takedown with Uday Chopra as an example. I mean, pretending at the end of the day it's all about merit etc. He was launched as the major supporting in a movie led by Amitabh Bachchan and SRK. Like how bigger can you get, and he constantly got opportunities, despite his failures, something an outsider would have never had the luxury of. So like pretending that haan yes, hota hai chalta hai nepotism, but talent hona chahiye, wala response is very dumb.
