just watched the first episode of Uzumaki

the wait of 5 years between the announcement and its release was worth every second.

that shit is animated real goodly.

the animation is simultaneously frighteningly natural and sickeningly unnatural, which makes me feel the kinda Yuck that you feel when you see Junji Ito's beautifully illustrated inked portraits of horrific imagery.

i have nothing more to say about it that has not already been said about this amazing story. you should watch it.
