Monday, 14th August.
Day 1/100
Was a little sick today but didn't want to miss the first day. Started with Indus Valley Civilization, Ancient History, read a little newspaper and realized I need to develop a habit of revising things.

I'll be starting a study blog on here, more like a 100 days of productivity challenge. This is simply a way to keep myself accountable, at least as accountable as possible. My goal is just to finish my tasks and hit a minimum 7 hour study goal so I honestly hope I can do it. I'll post every night before bed. This is my time to take it seriously and I can feel it in my bones that I'm not putting in the effort in my preparation as I need to. I hope I make myself proud, as soon as possible.

day 1/100 of systematic study. Need to cover my optional till December no matter what,...it's history btw, the subject is vast but I've to keep revising bit by bit and make a microscopic strategy. For instance, covering ancient history till 10 oct, med till 10 nov, modern till 10 dec and rest would be for revision!!! i also have made a plan to cover main specific subjects complete till December-january. They include, Ethics, Social issues, Disaster management, world history, art and culture and Env and ecology. i know it's a challenge given i have no idea of what are some of their sources till now ..but I guess content collection can never be done 100%...there is always some book or some material that will be left out, so sticking on basics from now. will also try to do 1 essay (GS-ANSWERS) practising csat question and 1 full revision of the weekly C.A. @ the end of the week. It's so so important to fix a day or two solely for revision,...so that the information STAYS. EFFICIENTLY. other than this,....need to focus on a healthy lifestyle, trying to indulge myself in a little bit of exercise, going clg once in a while + being happy and enjoying every bit of this journey. Idk about results tbh, but I KNOW I HAVE TO GIVE IT MY ALL. 🩷🩷🩷🩷 Thankyou if u read till end, (ik u didn't) but putting out random blogs like these just to self reflect...helps a lot!!!! THANKYOUU FOR UR SUPPORT.

India things!
Project Cheetah, India's ambitious attempt to introduce African cheetahs in the wild in the country, has been completed a year after its launch in September 2022.
The project has claimed to have achieved short-term success on four counts: “50% survival of introduced cheetahs from South Africa and Namibia, the establishment of home ranges, the birth of cubs in Kuno”, and revenue generation for local communities.
According to the Cheetah reintroduction project, Cheetahs, meant for a total of 142 months in the wild, spent less than 27 months combined.
The project faced a setback with a 40% loss in the functional adult population, resulting in the death of six out of 20 cheetahs, including Dhatri, Sasha, Suraj, Uday, Daksha, and Tejas.Additionally, four cubs were born in India, of which three died, and the fourth is being raised in captivity.
Only three cheetahs, namely Namibian imports Asha, Gaurav, and Shaurya, spent more than three months continuously in the wild. However, they have been confined to bomas(enclosures) since July 2023.
There are doubts about the successful establishment of "home ranges" in Kuno.

In this blog, we will delve into the crucial aspects of the UPSC CSE including the exam pattern and eligibility criteria, And also how Crack Academy to help you chart your path to success to crack UPSC.
1. What is UPSC CSE? The UPSC CSE is a highly competitive and renowned examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to recruit candidates for various prestigious civil services in India. 2.1. Preliminary Examination:
It is the first stage of the UPSC CSE and consists of two objective-type papers: General Studies Paper-I and General Studies Paper-II (popularly known as the Civil Services Aptitude Test or CSAT).
Both papers carry equal weightage (200 marks each) and are conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
General Studies Paper-I covers subjects like History, Polity, Economy, Geography, Science & Technology, Environment, and Current Affairs.
General Studies Paper-II (CSAT) evaluates candidates' aptitude in comprehension, logical reasoning, analytical ability, interpersonal skills, decision-making, and more.
2.2. Main Examination:
The Main Examination is the second stage of the UPSC CSE and consists of nine papers, out of which two are qualifying in nature: English and any Indian language of your choice.
The remaining seven papers are evaluated for merit and cover topics such as Essay, General Studies I, II, III, and IV, and Optional Subject Paper I and II.
Each paper is descriptive in nature, and the total marks for the Main Examination are 1750.
2.3. Personality Test (Interview):
The third and final stage of the UPSC CSE is the Personality Test, also known as the Interview round.
It is conducted to assess a candidate's personality, communication skills, leadership qualities, and suitability for a career in civil services.
The interview carries 275 marks and contributes to the final ranking of candidates.
3. UPSC Eligibility Criteria: Before applying for the UPSC CSE, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria:
3.1. Nationality:
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
For the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS), candidates must be Indian citizens. For other services, candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and PIOs (Persons of Indian Origin) are also eligible.
3.2. Age Limit:
The candidate must be at least 21 years old on August 1st of the examination year.
The upper age limit varies based on the candidate's category:
