I had the realization that swapping BioWare main characters (and SO’s) still gets you to the same place but in wildly different ways

Like do I think Hawke and Fenris could have taken on the ME2 suicide mission successfully? 100% absolutely as soon as someone explained what the hell a space ship was. Do I think they would have burnt Cerberus to the ground the first time someone looked at Fen’s ears funny and just gone wholly fucking rogue? 1000%. Fenris would have found a way to rip the illusion man's throat out through his ass via hologram tops five minutes in.

Similarly I think Shep and Garrus would have handled Kirkwall but i do think the fight with the qunari would have happened so much sooner and would have ended with Shep full head butting the arishok and knocking his ass out cold. also Merideth would have gotten her ass sniped approximately five seconds after she was rude to Shepard for the first time

Matt, who already had Gilmore's parents and childhood home on another continent ready and fleshed out for the meet-the-parents stage/wedding: "...I am going to get them over there to meet this nice old couple somehow, dammit."

(Given Vox Machina's usual life, this is hardly a blip on the radar of difficult/awkward, but in general, I do feel like "The place I'm teleporting you to is a closet in my parents' house" is a detail that would be helpful to explain in advance.)

I understand the concept of "[Faction] is pissed off at Rook for whatever reason, so they are sent away" I do not understand why they're sent away with Varric Tethras to go hunt for the Dreadwolf. Maybe the Veil Jumpers would be interested in that, but why would the other factions? Sorry, it needs more of a hook.

Hey KO, pd said the reason damon named fane.. fane was to honor rika's father since he respected him after realizing her father still wanted to raise him despite his origin. he wasnt named to honor rika but to honor her father.

Anyway listening to Pulse and Anxiety 2 makes me wanna paint the Conclave as Funger enemies. I think they could fuck hard as bosses.

#would be fucking hell fighting them though because of limb limitations.#(quick explanation. there's only so many diff enemies you can have in rpgmaker afaik. the limit is 8.#so in the first game you can fight 2 dark priests with four diff sections of the body (can't recall rn) to attack. and that's the max.#the mob in the second game has 3 enemies but they all only have one 'section' to attack. the limb system isn't available in the mob fight.#because there's 3 enemies with supposedly 5 diff sections to attack if they were standalone. (head torso legs and both arms)#but since there's 3 enemies in the mob it exceeds the limit. so the each enemy is just one whole section and you can't cut their limbs off.)#so yeah explanation over. I'm saying conclave would be shit to fight.#4 for each conclave member and the remaining 4 for cerberus that baldias has i guess.#i think Chronus could put up like. absolute defense felion first turn.#Axus would pull out his fuckign gun lol. maybe it comes out after a few turns? I'm thinkjng like needles but different...#baldias is main damage dealer I'd reckon. Libraria mostly support. i guess Chronus could also deal damage.#maybe Libraria could provoke the player characters into attacking her. like she casts pheromones on herself.#or she casts pheromones on chronus #maybe he's more tanky #I'm not good at game design dont ask for more #I'd need to study miro's style though. which will be a bit of a time.#ah...#ah rambling

Okay I know this isn't how it works at all but I want so badly to be able to have two Inquisitors at the same time, like not 2 separate playthroughs I mean they both survived the conclave and have the anchor on one of their hands. Personally, I think it would be funny.

#ramblings of an arrow #this is because I decided to also make a Lavellan last night #and so getting the little paragraph and seeing that Lavellan was sent as a spy made gears start turning in my brain #and simply I think it would be fucking hilarious and Lavellan and Adaar both survived the conclave #because Adaar saw this little dude sneaking around and was like hey wait you arent supposed to be here #and since Adaar is there as a mercenary for like protection reasons or whatever #shes gonna go after Lavellan to make sure the doesn't start shit #and ANYWAYS the point is that it would be fucking Funny if they both got the anchor because Adaar had handcuffed them together #so that Lavellan couldn't get away to do whatever sneaky thing they were supposed to be doing #and then got caught up in the oh shit what the hell is Justinia getting ritually sacrificed??? thing without anytime to remove the handcuffs #so Adaar is just dragging this little guy along with her #also the hilarity of them being found as the sole survivors handcuffed together and everyone just like ???? what??? the fuck???#obviously the handcuffs are removed before either of them wake up and they are kept in separate places so Cassandra can interrogate them #individually #but anyways yeah #do you see my vision #I am probably the only person who actually finds this as funny as I do but anyways yeah #arrow plays dragon age #arrow plays dai
