When Leo just fucking KNOWS how to fly a helicopter. He like puts a hand on it and can instantly recite the make and model, knows it’s top speed and altitude and how much fuel it has left. I love Rick Riordan. Do you have a disability? There’s probably a character for that. Are you a minority and/or lgbtq? There’s definitely a character for that. Sure, maybe it’s not all 100% accurate, but he’s TRYING and that means so, so much.

There are a lot of 'nobody talks about' posts... most I normally disagree that's its been over looked but one thing I have NEVER seen.

Grover and all his accomplishments.

He found ALL of greek the big 3 kids.

He found pan.

He is a lord of the wild.

He single handedly gathered all the nature forces in the battle of Manhattan. When the council elders had cast him out.

He faced his greatest fears and rose to the challenge on every occasion.

He created an empathy link which is very hard to do even for those with more developed skills.

And to top it all off, he kept Percy’s impulsive ass alive.

I'm sure I'm probably missing something but this needs to said.

Fans that complain all the time that the Show is not exactly like the book have to think about the fact that the lightning thief was puplished over 18 years and over 20 books ago Uncle Rick is not the same author that he used to be he worked at the show as the author he is today and didn't want to do things the way he wanted them 18 years ago

one thing that i don’t see people talking about in terms with the kids finally being the right age is that this will show us how truly terrifying their adventures are at the young age of 12. they are literally just children experiencing lifetimes of trauma and tasks most adults couldn’t complete and comprehend. their age is so important to their characters.

this show is going to be so important and so good.
