This was somewhat of a dumb question coming from you, but your mind was just too groggy and fatigued with illness to think rationally at the moment. You had been stuck in your bed for the whole day now, getting up only to use the bathroom or drink some water in between your feverish naps. This was one of those days that you just wanted to pass by you as quickly as possible so that you could get on with your life as if nothing has even happened soon after. Nobody likes getting sick, yet it's a part of human experience that you just have to suffer through, whether you want to or not.

You could hear your partner chuckle slightly under his breath as he came into the room and closed the door behind him as quietly as possible so as to not disturb you too much with an unwanted noise.

"Oh, just checking up on my sick little alien, that's all."

Taking a seat beside your bed, Saeyoung pressed his hand to your sweaty forehead, making you lean into his cool touch out of pure instinct. You must have looked like a complete mess right now, considered the fact that you have not left your bed for the entire day. Well, it's not like you cared much about that right now, anyways. Either way, you could see concern slowly rising in his eyes as he studied you carefully, like a true doctor assessing you from just one look alone.

He would make a handsome doctor... Or a very pretty nurse at that...

Oh God, this fever is making you think of a few very bizarre things-

"Ugh, I told you to just leave me alone for the day... I don't want to get you sick as well." You groaned, shutting your eyes tightly and turning your burning face to the opposite direction from the redhead that was slowly filling your every thought like a different sort of sickness. If there's one good thing out of this fever, it's that he probably couldn't tell the difference between your feverish blush and the embarrassed one. "I'm just going to sleep all day and hope that my body does all the work for me."

"Who says you can't do exactly that, though?" You could hear him shuffling about, probably cleaning up all the used up tissues that were scattered about on your nightstand. "You can just lay there and get better, while I bring you anything you need, so that you don't have to strain yourself. And I'm sure Saeran wouldn't mind cooking you up some yummy soup that's going to do wonders to your tummy! You're acting like you're living all alone, when it's obviously not the case."

Despite your resolve, you could feel yourself starting to smile as the images of what your partner was describing slowly formed in your mind, making your chest feel warm and fuzzy at the notion of being cared for like that. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to just... let go and let others take care of you for once. And you did miss having company around you, even if you tried to deny it. Being sick sucked, but it sucked even more if you're dealing with the struggles of it all by yourself.

"...Okay. That actually sounds... kinda nice. Thank you, Saeyoung."

You gave him a tired but warm smile, which he returned with one of his own, running a hand through your messy hair and making you sigh in satisfaction as result of his pleasant touch. "That's a good kitten.*

Soon after, you found yourself sitting up in your bed, prepped up by a few pillows and holding a plushie of your hacker boyfriend close to your chest, with the real Saeyoung carefully placing a bowl of steaming porridge on your now neatly stacked bedside.

"What's that?" You asked, rubbing at your eyes and trying to sniff out any distinguishing scents from the dish, only to fail miserably due to your clogged up nose.

God, you hated being sick.

"Saeran decided to make you a bowl of dakjuk, and since cooking is a field of science too advanced for my genius brain, I decided to go along with my little bro's suggestion. Smells amazing, so I'm sure you'll feel better in no time! I wonder if he'll cook the same for me if I get sick..." He placed a hand to his chin, as if he was lost deep in thought, making you giggle at his adorable display.

"I'm sure he would, love. It's a shame I won't be able to taste it fully, though." You replied, smiling warmly at the thought. Saeran's care showed in his actions more than anything. You were certain that he'd be more than willing to help his brother get better, albeit not nursing him back to health directly. "Will you feed me?"

Saeyoung winked at you, booping your nose with a tip of his finger. "You don't even have to ask, my cutest patient! Doctor Choi will take utmost care of you and your soup."

Can't forget about the soup.

Even despite your sickness, you could feel the overwhelming warmth and smooth texture of a porridge-like mixture filling your mouth, making you close your eyes and appreciate the cozy flavor of this dakjuk to the best of your abilities. Gulping down the first spoonful, you nodded with approval, your eyes twinkling with happiness for the first time today. "Mm! You know, even if I can't taste much, I can tell that that's a very good dakjuk. Do tell Saeran that I loved it, okay?"

Once you've finished your porridge, Saeyoung tucked you back into bed, although you had to shoo him away before he could place a kiss to your lips as he usually did. You did promise him to double your daily kisses once you get better in response to the put he gave you, but you definitely did not want your partner to get sick because of you, which is why a small sacrifice had to be made. You chattered between yourselves for about a hour more about this and that, jumping from one topic to another, as it often happened whenever you two started up a conversation. Listening to Saeyoung babbling away excitedly about his day or his interests always did put a smile on your face.

"I love you." You murmured, squeezing his hand in yours and slowly closing your eyes once more, drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

A content smile adorned your flushed face as you felt him place a single loving kiss to the warm skin of your forehead, before caressing the back of your hand with his thumb. "I love you too, kitten. Get better for me so that I can kiss you properly the first thing tomorrow morning, okay?"

Okay, but hear me out. You're trying to compliment Reiner seriously, but he ends up saying, "Flattery will get you nowhere." in a scolding tone, thinking you're just saying things and being insincere in order to get on his good side. So you furrow your brows and begin to literally lecture him about what a great guy he is despite what he believes. And him not being able to take all those compliments, because no one has ever really been so observant or attentive to him in that way; so he does whatever he can, uses whatever means to shut you up because he can't take it. Feels like his chest would explode, thinking what he did to deserve this; deserve you.

I'm taking this as a personal fuckin attack Nonnie 😤 How dare you get me tearing up this damn early over by babiest of baby boys! 🥺

My determination and devotion to a cause has never been higher than my desire for the opportunity to help Reiner see how truly amazing and wonderful he is.

As much as I love Porco, I hate his comment about how all of the way Reiner acted on Paradis was him copying and manifesting Marcel. Like, he was inspired by Marcel yes, and maybe it started out with even Reiner just acting, but even outside of the implications of him developing DID it was Reiner reacting to people he came to care for. I think the being an extroverted leader is the big thing he took from Marcel. But all the things that made him a good leader, trusted companion and reliable friend were traits that Reiner already had.

Ugh, I just want to wrap him up in a bubble and tell the world to fuckoff and leave my mans alone! Hasn't he given enough! Let him have some vestiges of self esteem and self love damn it! 😭

But for real though, being Reiner's partner would involve patience and lots of energy and care to reassure him often of your --not just love, but even just liking him as a person.

And depending on the point in his life where you two become partners -canonverse or modern au- I think Reiner can objectively see and acknowledge that he's attractive by general societal standards, but his whole self-loathing and lack of self-esteem comes from him thinking he's a shitty person on the inside. Hella imposter syndrome (same baby boy). Probably thinks that he's some how manipulated you into thinking he's a decent person or something. Because how could he be when his dad wants nothing to do with him/reiner thinks himself being born is why his dad left his mom but really his dad is a deadbeat asshole 😒/ and also he thinks that his mom is never really proud of him cause she's never said as much, and has been a single mom dealing with her own heartache and self issues. Not an excuse but it is what it is. And he's constantly trying to "win/earn" her affection--of which he desires words and actions that prove that. But barely gets the later. And yes he has his friends. Mainly Bertholdt and Pieck--I'd say poooossibly Marcel but maybe moreso acquaintances? Like Marcel is valedictorian and captain of all the sports teams they both play on, and Reiner is always falling short behind him? Maybe even a few places behind? I dunno.

But anywho, obviously he's somehow manipulated you into thinking he's worth your time. And he's definitely a self sabotager in that regard. :/ Now I'm really curious about exploring how you'd actually finally get to be dating my interpretation of Reiner. I think it'd definitely have to be a good friends first situation. And you asking him out. So if you want this sad lovable Teddy Graham you're gonna have to make the moves first.

I think maybe he might end up in some random hookup situations outside this relationship. So maybe it's a repeat booty call catching feelings type deal? Like if he's at a party and someone comes onto him and they're flirting and they wanna hook up, he's not gonna turn it down. Especially with how much this man craves physical connection. The automatic bell above the door chimes as you enter. The grocery store bustles with activity, people fresh from work hurrying to finish their shopping before returning to their sleepy suburbs. It’s barely-controlled chaos.

Retrieving a basket, you check the post-it note list in your pocket. Just a few things.

Aisle 3 first.

You’re slower than the rest as you scan the shelves, eyes unfocusing at random, the different brands of aluminum foil failing to hold your attention. Your mind is elsewhere.

Shelly found her soulmate today.

You knew the moment she walked into the office this morning. The sparkling eyes, the lovesick grin, they way she seemed to float with each step; it’s a look you’ve seen on others before. So, so many others.

Try as you might, you had not been able to avoid her for long. Pairs, as they’re called, could never keep it to themselves for long, seemingly intent on torturing you with their newfound wholeness.

They’d met on the train. She’d been running late and had to take a later line than usual. It was fate, she said. They never would have met otherwise.

Blah, blah, blah. You wanted to puke.

Everyone in your office had found their soulmate, one way or another. Everyone but you. Shelly was the last, the only coworker to whom you could relate. Now, you’re alone in more ways than one.

It would happen, they all told you. One day, your eyes would meet theirs and you would feel it: That spark, that final puzzle piece snapping into place, that pure feeling of absolute plenitude. It’s not something you could comprehend until you felt it, they said.

They’d meant to help, to give you hope, but their words only served to deepen the wounds of isolation. The malignant ache of loneliness festers a little more every year you go without meeting your other half. You’ve almost resigned yourself to a life of solitude.

It has been known to happen. Some unfortunate people go their whole lives without meeting their soulmate. It’s heart wrenching to see them out and about, a single, lonely figure in a sea of Pairs.

Hastily, you shake your head, coming back to yourself and swallowing the acrid tang of self pity creeping up your throat. You slink to the next aisle over. A quick glance at your sticky note prompts you to retrieve a jar of pasta sauce. Bread is next.

You round the corner, eyes on your list. Bread, waffles, maybe you should get some ice cream—

You run headfirst into a solid chest, the impact so jarring you drop your basket. The glass jar of pasta sauce shatters, marinara splattering all over your shoes and the other’s scuffed boots. Strong hands seize your upper arms to keep you from toppling backward.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry—

The words die on your tongue when you meet the dark eyes of the man with whom you collided. His expression is one of cold fury. It chills you to the bone, freezes your soul, invokes a terror so deep in your mind you cannot draw breath. Then….

Click.

Your eyes widen. Fear dissipates instantly, replaced with unequivocal certainty. A spark ignites within you, warms your heart, sends a thrill racing up your spine.

It’s like that final puzzle piece snapping into place. No terror, only perfect completion.

Wholeness.

Now, you understand. Now, you see.

You stare in stunned silence at one another, his now shocked expression mirroring yours. A tremulous exhale spills from your lips. The grip on your arms tightens.

You take him in, as much as you can while keeping your gaze locked with his. He’s tall and broad-shouldered. “Powerful” is the first word that comes to mind. His strong jaw is peppered with stubble, the barest hints of gray flecking it and his brown hair. With your eyes, you trace the thin, white scars littering his face: One through his eyebrow, one through his lips, more slashed across his cheek and the bridge of his nose. His eyes…. His eyes are so dark—black?—and they glitter like beetle’s wings.

You inhale, part your lips to say something, to break the tense silence, but then his expression changes. His brows furrow, his lips press into a thin line. The cold scowl returns.

He releases your arms like you’ve burned him. Stepping away from you, he spins on his heel and quickly strides away. Incredulous, you watch the back of his jean jacket as he retreats, acutely aware of the knowing looks your exchange has garnered.

“Hey! Hey, wait!” you call, slipping a little in pasta sauce as you hurry after him. You pass a disgruntled employee and murmur an apology, you’ll help clean it up, you promise, you just need one moment….

The door chimes again as the man—your soulmate—all but flees to the parking lot. You pursue, half-jogging to catch up

“Stop! Please, why are you—

He turns to face you so fast you barely register what’s happening. A palm returns to your upper arm, another wrapping around your throat as he seizes you, spins, and shoves you up against the nearest vehicle. The noisy thud as your back collides with steel disturbs the muted hustle of post-work suburbia.

You gasp, equal parts shocked and impressed by the show of speed. You’re bewildered by your feelings, heart thudding in your chest, face hot. He just slammed you into a car and you’re blushing for chirst’s sake.

His own expression is pinched, strained. His voice, so pleasantly deep and rough, is terse as he speaks through his teeth, “You do not want to go down this road with me.”

You blink, your frenzied mind racing to process his words. “I…yes, I do. You’re—

“Forget this happened. Forget. It.” You flinch like he cut you, his words stinging like alcohol in a wound. You shake your head.

“…How?” you whisper. Your eyes burn. There’s no way you could ever, ever forget him now, not in any sense of the word. You’re connected on the deepest level, your very souls entwined. How could he say something like this? How could he want this? Does he not feel this bond like you do?

His jaw clenches. He pushes you away, not hard enough to make you fall, but firmly enough to make a point. Keys jingle as he retrieves them from his pocket. They rattle against the truck door—the one he’d pushed you against—until the lock clicks. He doesn’t look back as he slides into the driver’s seat, slams the door. The engine roars to life.

You watch, frozen to the spot, adrenaline and distress thrumming under your skin as the vehicle pulls away. It ambles through the parking lot, makes a left turn onto the street, disappears into traffic.

Your eyes burn.

Slowly, like your arm weighs a ton, you reach up to touch your cheek. It’s wet. You’re crying, you realize.

A new wound opens up, settles into your chest next to the loneliness:

Love in the Air EP7 messy review

We have arrived at the last chapter of Payu and Rain's love. I am sad and I know I will miss them so I will probably keep rewatching a lot!! BUT before we say goodbye, lets dive right in with this messy review!😎

Now we left last episode with Rain being kidnapped! I am still pissed off about that, like how dare you take Rain like that! anyway we switch to Payu at work, who suddenly gets a feeling something is off and starts calling Rain who of course can't pick up the phone. I love the way Payu just gets up and leaves work to go and check up on him but I feel how worried he is by him going through the entire house to find him even Saifha is alarmed eventually.

I do feel like Saifha don't get the relationship between the two because we all know Rain would pick up the phone if Payu calls so him not picking up the entire day obviously means there is trouble. I hate how Payu eventually gets the call from Rain but it's actually Stop. Can I say this though Rain is one brave man! Anyway we all know how this works as Payu is asked to get there in 30 minutes alone.... Like this is very basic kidnapping stuff. That moment with Saifha though, I knew he gave him information, I mean that was quite obvious. 🫢

Next scene we get to see Rain being tied up to a chair and gagged, I seriously hate this so much, again how dare he touch Rain!! I do like it that his friend leaves because he doesn't want to have anything to do with kidnapping, as if abusing him isn't bad enough, fucking dumbass! Rain isn't Rain if he isn't being his feisty self though and as he glares at Stop of course he gets aggravated! stupid of him to free his mouth and HELL YES RAIN FOR SPITTING AT HIS FACE!! fucker deserved that!!

I don't like the fact he hit Rain though, like karma will come for your ass!!! Now of course Rain gets beaten a bit more and then Payu shows up alone...... Like I really don't like scenes like this but I watched it and felt super upset with the way Rain cried out for Payu while Payu was being humiliated! Thank god for P' Chai. I cheered quietly(it was 2am when I watched it) ☠️when they freed Rain. The way Rain immediately run towards Payu, ughhh my heart broke a bit because Rain was crying and Payu severely hurt. (My babies were hurt, it was unacceptable! ) 😤🥺The way Payu comforted him by making sure he knew it wasn't his fault and that is was okay, made me cry because well I don't have a reason, I just cried because that was beautiful.

I did clap though when Rain kicked the fucker two times! what I learned from this is that Rain is like a cinnamon roll but will kill you when you touch Payu! So better not mess with both of them.

Thankfully this scene ends and they are mending their wounds at home. The way Rain is super careful not to hurt Payu and Payu is like stop that nonsense. I love the way Rain put Payu's hand against his face carefully, it's extremely touching and the way they finally told each other they loved each other. (my heart really was just full at that moment)🥹 Have I already told you guys how much I love Rain, but after this episode it's even deeper, like who can resist him when he comes with this pick-up line "Because whenever there's a Storm, there's always Rain" (I melted so badly right then, like there is no cure for me anymore, I'm in too deep) and then that soft kiss!!!! ugh.................🫠😍

we finally see Rain spending time with his friends after a long break and I love how they are just casually chatting but this dude needs to stop teasing Rain! (oh little confession time. So Rain spelled his name correctly, I mean he said the R(rolling his tongue and everything) but I caught myself saying Lain, instead of Rain multiple times because that's how they pronounce his name in the drama, I can't help myself because I seriously love it) But ofcourse Sky tells on him by mentioning that he is attached to his lover lately. I love Sky's energy so so much! The way his facial expressions are always on point!! Of course Payu calls right at that moment and after he hears Ple, he seriously shows up, making Rain nervous and not wanting to approach him but Payu of course does not care and as Payu joins them at the table, Payu tells everyone that he is picking up his partner and the best part Rain jumping up and telling everyone he is going home and Payu follows his lead immediately and put his arm around Rain and that's when everyone gets it and gets shocked! except for Sky of course, this man was just eating his sandwich calmly with a smirk on his face.

I also love how bold Rain has become! Like here he sits seducing Payu! Ughhhh I love it just so much!!😍☠️🤭

I love how Payu did not cater to him one bit and as he tried to get Payu away for some water so he could talk to Rainm brilliant especially the scene where Rain offers to get water and Payu literally was like "STOP" lmao this man will someday be the death of me. Anyway Rain gets put under pressure to give Sky's number, as Prapai is threatening to not move until he gets it and the Payu looks at Rain and the way Rain caved under that stare, just brilliant. After he gets Sky's number he tries to call him but as Sky doesn't recognize the number he doesn't pick up and with Prapai's "I don't give up that easily" We come to an end of their first chapter and the last chapter of PayuRain.

Now to get back at Payu and Rain. Payu finally confesses Rain that he wanted him the second they had met in the rain and what he would do if they ever met again and that after he received his photo he technically began plotting. This man even dismantled his car to make sure Rain would need his help. I love this really, it's brilliant. I love how he justifies it all by telling Rain he just loves to tease him. If we are being honest if I met someone like Rain I also would tease him a little because he is just too cute. Thats the punishment for being way too cute!! I love how Payu goes. "Won't you love me after finding out the truth" and Rain just goes "No, 'cause I already love you, what else can I do"

I mean have some mercy on our hearts Rain, I literally melted to the floor and felt jealous but with this ending it's really time to say goodbye to Payu & Rain's storyline and feel excited for Prapai and Sky's one, from what I heard their lovestory isn't going to be as happy as Payu & Rain's story but that being said I can not wait till next week october 6, which is also my Birthday but that is not that important..

Wisdom Tooth Story

Ok so I wanted to post a little story or maybe a little rant about my wisdom teeth surgery experience.

Note:

So first just to let you know they’re only shaving my bottom teeth not pulling them out because it’s touching the nerve so they’re worried removing them would paralyze my jaw...

The day:

so the day starts as they have me take this pill and I’m supposed to be out of it after 30 minutes ... by 5 minutes I’m already spinning and feeling drunk and I really don’t remember how i managed to walk inside.. what I do remember is that I got up and tried to grab my phone every chance I got and they hid it from me and I still found it.

The doctor comes, uses a syringe forces some nasty liquid in my mouth and I’m completely knocked out after that.

So by the time it’s done I just get in the car, they don’t really talk to me or my boo about aftercare they just hand him a bag and say everything he needs is in there but they only gave us toothpaste, a toothbrush and floss...... so I get in the car I’m literally crying for a whole hour and I keep saying idk why I’m crying.. my boo picks up my check from work for me, cashes it in at the bank and I just remember being home now.

So I’m all puffy I’m taking these Tylenol & codeine pills and I start to feel the pain and now I’m feeling like this is how birth would be if it was in my mouth, the Tylenol never works on me and I’m just dying, I eventually give in and just take straight Advil and I swear it helped.

Realization:

So skipping ahead to the important stuff now... so now my swelling has gone down I can finally make sense of what’s going on inside there now, and then... that’s when I realized.... they STITCHED MY LEFT CHEEK... they stitched it to my gums thinking maybe that was part of my gum or something??? And they also forgot my antibiotics which resulted in giving me a fever!.... so now I have a giant scar on the inside of my cheek & less flexibility back there.

I also find out that after it’s all healed and the stitches went away... they completely missed stitched both bottom teeth... so now I can SEE my wisdom tooth on the bottom... I can even feel them!!

Help:

I call them to let them know and hopefully get a syringe or something to clean the left over unstitched holes in my mouth..

this lady tells me that they “did not” stitch my cheek... and that they don’t want me to get pockets if they give me a syringe or whatever. Lady was super rude too btw. Could not believe how bad the service was. After I get the surgery 😤 they refuse to give me anything to clean it out with and said leave it alone it was “stitched right”

Ugh:

So I’m doing just that and honestly it got so gross in there I couldn’t take it anymore. I started using random things to clean it at home, refusing to go back to that place after this, I want real food I’m fed up. I kept feeling on & off pain on the right side also even just from eating soups..

Again help, also current status:

I find out there’s also a hole in one of my teeth.. like they drilled a hole in my tooth and forgot to fill it, im wondering where this awful taste keeps coming from and there’s stuff inside there, I try to clean it just to find out that area was soooo sensitive, it was so painful I feel like from watching someone in labor that it this pain Would be worse then that... so I got most of it out before feeling that pain and honestly drinking even cold water after that was so painful, any toothpaste going back there was painful. I’ve been scared to go back there at all side but god it’s so gross. So yesterday I decided to just shove toothpaste down there and yes it did hurt but not as bad as actually touching the hole.. and woke up with it cleaned out... ordered some syringes off amazon that are small enough hoping it works to suck the stuff out of it because I know I can’t shoot any water or anything back there without hurting myself. And by the way this is now almost 2 months later. Only the right side hurts to touch.
