Okay. So. I watched the Laci Peterson documentary on Netflix. The two jurors? Don't think they could have found a more sanctimonious piece of shit pair of dudes. They piss me off almost as much Scott Peterson does.

Idk. Ever since my writers group dudes needed to see a guy be more evil than "let me impregnate this selkie, then she'll want to stay" to justify his fictional thematic death, my opinion of men's judgement on crimes against women has hit an all-time low. Just... the way they talked about the case and how high and mighty their judgement and opinions were.

"I don't care about this, I only care about that" like shut the fuck my dudes. Look, I understand the perils of our criminal justice system and the overincarceration of innocent men, and I understand the need to get to as close to the truth as possible. But in a system designed by and built to protect conventionally attractive white men like Scott Peterson, who are you to pick and choose what's relevant and what's not? Who are you to decide the difference between what's circumstantial and what's context?

Ugh. Idk. I don't like a lot about what happened with the press on the case, and my own red flags about Scott Peterson (besides what the documentary highlights) include "who tf goes open water fishing after determining its too cold to golf" (also, golf is a red flag in and of itself) and "only monsters park their massive pickup truck in a spot marked for compact vehicles", so.... I'm not exactly an authority on the matter.

But I do question the fuck out of men sitting on juries for crimes against women. Especially men like these two douche canoes. I don't care what the eventual verdict was. I pity the women who had to sit on the jury with those two pricks.

listening to camlann again . feeling normal about peredur and gwaine and the parallels between them. realized that my assessment of perry earlier on was not quite accurate bc i needed to take Every piece of evidence into consideration and now i believe that gwaine and perry are way too similar and also completely different and thats why they butt heads so fucking much . im addicted to knights who dont like each other SORRY

of course when i literally test my game and delete all my custom cars because it seemed like they were the cause of car-related bugs, everything works perfectly fine and sims return home from work normally but as soon as i'm in regular gameplay again, the bugs are back even though they weren't happening at all while playtesting

context: i have an annoying bug where every time my sims go to work in their own car, they never return with the car and they just show up in the carpool and the car is gone. the car works fine if they use it to travel to a community lot or somewhere off-screen (such as installing car alarms)

i just. love the idea of buck and eddie getting ready together, at eddie's house. dont get me wrong, eddie telling buck to dress up and be ready by 8 because he's getting picked up for a night out on the town and buck just being all Okay Sure Eds about it is amazing but like what if they help each other pick out their outfits? what if eddie is all 'i know just the place where you can show of your newfound math superpowers but if you're gonna join me you have to look the part. i can't have you looking out of place so here wear this. im gonna wear this..' and buck almost has a heart attack and gets all nervous and anxious and mixed feelings-y about it all because eddie looks really damn good and so does he and they look good together and they're about to go out and he doesn't even know where they are going. of course buck is gonna drive them there while eddie dodges all of his questions until he ultimately tells him its just a bit of poker and buck can't help but feel disappointed it's not a date.
