Now, there's a follow-up action in Congress with the House Oversight Committee naming Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) to head the new "Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets." Luna announced that they would be looking into UFOs, the Jeffrey Epstein client list, JFK, RFK, and MLK, as well as the origins of COVID-19 and the 9/11 files. She said it would be bipartisan and said they've already initiated a variety of inquiries to various agencies, including to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
...
“Based on what I've been seeing so far, the initial hearing that was actually held here in Congress was actually faulty in the single bullet theory," Luna said. "I believe that there were two shooters. And we should be finding more information as we are able to gain access into the SCIF, hopefully before the files are actually released to the public." I'm not sure what she's basing that on and what she's seen, but if that's based on something we haven't seen yet, that could be pretty big if there's real evidence to support that.

Clear Skies, Clear Answers: The Push for UAP Transparency in Congress
A recent U.S. Congressional hearing on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs) marked a significant turning point in the pursuit of transparency, acknowledging the reality of these enigmatic sightings and underscoring the need for comprehensive legislative actions. This hearing not only confirmed the existence of UAPs but also highlighted the imperative of balancing national security with public trust, setting the stage for a new era of inquiry.
The hearing was distinguished by a rare display of bipartisanship, with Chairwoman Mace and representatives from both sides of the aisle converging on the necessity of transparency. Criticisms of the Pentagon's historical secrecy were unanimous, emphasizing the detrimental effects on public trust and national security. This collective stance signifies a crucial shift towards openness, acknowledging that the era of unequivocal secrecy surrounding UAPs is no longer tenable.
Rear Admiral Timothy Gallaudet's firsthand account of a 2015 UAP encounter, coupled with Luis Elizondo's insights into advanced technologies, and Michael Shellenberger's revelations on the "Immaculate Constellation" program, collectively validate the existence of UAPs. These testimonies, rich in detail and credibility, dispel speculative skepticism, firmly establishing UAPs as a phenomenon worthy of serious, scientific investigation.
The need for legislative actions to enhance transparency and establish robust oversight was a recurring theme, with initiatives such as the "Safe Airspace for Americans Act" and the proposed "UAP Disclosure Act" being highlighted as crucial steps forward. Protecting whistleblowers and adopting a whole-of-government approach were also emphasized as essential for ensuring that UAP inquiries are conducted with the requisite openness and accountability.
The interplay between national security concerns and the erosion of public trust emerged as a pivotal aspect, with the frequent sightings of UAPs near sensitive installations posing a dual challenge. Addressing potential surveillance or technological advancements by adversarial entities must be balanced with restoring the faith of the American people, necessitating a nuanced approach that prioritizes transparency without compromising security.
The path forward is likely to involve selective declassification of UAP-related documents, which could provide invaluable insights, as well as leveraging NASA's scientific expertise to study UAPs, lending credibility and depth to the inquiry. International cooperation may also play a role, recognizing that UAPs are a global phenomenon requiring a unified, transparent, and scientifically driven response.

President-elect Donald Trump’s likely CIA director Kash Patel has called for the urgent declassification of the Jeffrey Epstein client list and Sean “Diddy” Combs list of co-conspirators as a means of restoring trust in government.
Trump insiders including Elon Musk believe the President-elect is likely to reward long-term loyalist and New York-born attorney Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel with the role of CIA director. A former Republican House staffer, Patel served in various high-ranking staff roles in the defense and intelligence communities during Trump’s first term.
Patel has also been a vocal advocate for the political prisoners who were prosecuted over the January 6 riots.
During an interview with podcaster Shawn Ryan, Patel said that Trump should create a ‘declassification office’ in order to increase transparency in government and restore public trust.
In response to that proposal, social media personality ALX wrote on X that Patel ‘should be the next CIA Director under Donald Trump.’
‘Good idea,’ Musk replied to the tweet, which included a clip of Patel’s interview.
The opinion of the Tesla, X and SpaceX boss holds a lot of weight with Trump.
DailyMail report: Musk has been with the president-elect ever since Election Day on November 5. Since then the two have been seen dining, golfing and walking around Mar-a-Lago together.
And female NASCAR icon Danica Patrick is backing Patel’s bid to take helm at the CIA, writing on X: ‘Let’s go Kash!’
She also said if he does lead the U.S.’s top intelligence agency, she’d love to see Patel declassify the ‘UFO files… while you’re at it.’
Earlier this summer, Musk joked online about creating a new agency called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that would focus on slashing the D.C. bureaucracy and regulations Republicans feel hold certain industries back.
Musk first endorsed Trump after the assassination attempt against him at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally in July.

Schumer calls on Trump to declassify government files on UFOs
Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) says President Trump should declassify secret government archives about unidentified flying objects (UFOs), also known as unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), in the spirit of greater government transparency.
“Now do UFOs,” Schumer wrote on social platform X in a repost of the White House’s announcement that Trump has ordered government files on John F. Kennedy, the nation’s 35th president, Robert F. Kennedy, his brother, and Martin Luther King Jr. to be declassified.

"Beatriz Villarroel, assistant professor of physics at Stockholm University, is leading a team of astronomers looking at photographic plates of the night sky that date from before the first artificial satellite was launched in 1957.
Mysteriously, on one plate from April 1950, Villarroel found nine sources of light that appeared within a half-hour period and then vanished. Conducting observations using the Gran Telescopio Canarias, on La Palma in the Canary Islands, revealed nothing at the locations of the light sources that might have flared up.
“There is no astronomical explanation for this type of event,” says Villarroel.
More recently, her team found three bright “stars” on a plate dated 19 July 1952 that have since vanished. Provocatively, this is a date burned into the diaries of UFO enthusiasts around the world because it coincides with a famous incident in which pilots and radar operators saw lights they could not explain in the skies above Washington DC."

Government is hiding something. Methinks.
The thrill is gone from the 2023 Disclosure Act since US Congress watered it down at the last minute. "...declassification of UAP records will be largely up to the same entities that have blocked and obfuscated their disclosure for decades."
The article describes the Act's claim of 'eminent domain' over any and all recovered UAP tech or biological material. The Act also called for the US Secretary of State to contact any foreign government holding UAP materials.

It doesn’t matter the topic, there always seems to be a group of lawmakers who will stop at nothing to thwart government transparency – even when it’s a subject that could not be more bipartisan or in an obvious need for sunlight.
This time, a small cadre of powerful Republicans have reportedly killed a provision in this year’s defense authorization that would finally bring some transparency to the US government’s knowledge around UFOs (now also known by the updated parlance of “unidentified aerial phenomena”, or UAPs).
Over the summer, the Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer, introduced a UFO transparency bill on the heels of testimony given to Congress by the retired air force officer David Grusch, who made several shocking claims about the US being in possession of alien spacecraft for decades. As Schumer described his bill “the measure would create a board just like with the JFK assassination records to work through the declassification of the many government records on UAPs … This model has been a terrific success for decades and should be used with UAPs”.
Some took Grusch’s testimony very seriously, others viewed him as a crackpot, still others in between. Since it would take a lot more words than this column to litigate his myriad extraordinary claims, let’s forget about him for a moment and focus on what we do know for a fact about the general subject of unidentified flying objects.
For decades, both military and commercial pilots have logged countless sightings of UFOs while flying that defy conventional or scientific explanation. The US government has studied the UFO phenomenon on and off since the 1950s and has kept at least some of what it knows secret. Recently the US government itself has released several videos of these incidents, which has further fueled public interest and speculation about whether the incidents were extraterrestrial.
Then, it was only nine months ago, shortly after a Chinese spy balloon floated over American airspace, that UFOs became front page news across the country. After the balloon was taken down, and with the air force on high alert and its radar systems tweaked to extra sensitivity, aseries of UFOs were tracked and some even shot with US military Sidewinder missiles over both the United States and Canada.
For a few days there was wall-to-wall coverage of these incidents, and the White House was holding press conferences to specifically address it. Members of the military were telling reporters that the objects were not balloons like the one China had lost control of, some reported at least one of the objects “interfered with [pilot’s] sensors” and had no visible propulsion 40,000ft in the air. The military spent millions of dollars to shoot them down, and closed a huge swath of airspace when they thought they spotted more. No one had a definitive explanation of what they were.
And then poof! Everyone seemed to forget about it. The government never released video or photos of the objects it tracked (even though they obviously must have had some footage). They initially claimed they couldn’t recover any wreckage. When reporters and other concerned citizens attempted to Foia the evidence they were stonewalled completely, with the Pentagon claiming it was all classified. By then, the press had moved on and the Biden administration or the Pentagon hasn’t faced an ounce of scrutiny on the issue from mainstream publications since.
It’s clearly in the public interest to get to the bottom of incidents like these, whether you believe these objects are of extraterrestrial origin or not. As Schumer himself said, “Unidentified aerial phenomena has generated intense curiosity from many Americans, and the risk for confusion and misinformation is high if the government is not willing to be transparent.” It also couldn’t be further from a partisan issue, as the bill had several Republicans in support of it. So why did this small group of Republicans – including the House speaker, head of the House intelligence committee and the Senate minority leader – kill this thing?
One explanation is that these specific congressmen are in on a decades-long cover-up, yet somehow the long-serving Senate majority leader isn’t. I have a different theory: these congressmen also don’t necessarily know what is going on, but they are so addicted to government secrecy that they will reflexively fight for it, even when they have no rational reason. They fear creating a framework for more transparency, knowing if it’s a success it could possibly spur more legislative action in a similar vein.
The JFK Records Act, which Schumer referenced as his inspiration, is an aberration in our modern history; it passed more than 30 years ago and there’s been nothing like it since. On most subjects, it’s impossible to get the government to quickly declassify documents – even when it’s of vital public interest. If this new provision would become law, we would then have an updated model for other areas of the government that Congress could target for declassification if they so choose.
Say, for example, a commission on price gouging in the Pentagon that could expose tens of billions in fraud, or commissions who could more quickly declassify the various spying powers that are constantly abused by the NSA and FBI. The House intelligence committee, which seemingly exists to protect our intelligence agencies from scrutiny, is going to do everything in its power to stop that.
The truth may be out there. But believers and skeptics alike should be able to unite on one thing: force the government to reveal what it knows and what it doesn’t know. We will all be better off.

Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna To Lead Task Force Investigating JFK, UFOs, MLK, and Epstein Files
Tumblr media
WASHINGTON, DC – DECEMBER 20: U.S. Rep Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) speaks to members of the press at the U.S. Capitol on December 20, 2024 in Washington, DC.
The House Oversight Committee has created a new task force devoted to declassifying federal secrets in an effort to improve government transparency.
Under the direction of Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fl.), the task force will investigate a number of high-profile topics, such as the “9/11 files, the Epstein client list, the origins of COVID-19, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), and the assassinations of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, and John F. Kennedy.”
Following an executive order signed by President Trump last month that initiated the declassification of documents pertaining to the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK — the announcement follows.
By bringing long-held government secrets to light and rebuilding public confidence, the task force hopes to build on this work.
“For far too long, the American people have had reasonable questions about what their government—which they fund every day—keeps hidden,” stated House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY). “This creates distrust in our institutions. That ends today.” “Representative Luna is a sledgehammer against government secrecy,” he added. “I can think of no better person in Congress to lead this task force.”
In her comments, Luna underlined the value of openness and the necessity of rebuilding public confidence in the U.S. government.
“When our founding fathers stood against tyranny, they defended the sacred idea of individual sovereignty,” Luna declared. “For too long, the American spirit has been dimmed by a veil of secrecy.”
Luna presented the agenda of the task force, which consists of:
Looking into the assassinations of MLK, RFK, and JFK.
Investigating Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs / UFOs)
Investigating Unidentified Submerged Objects (USOs).
Reviewing the Epstein client list — including redacted sections.
Reviewing the origins of the COVID-19 virus.
Revisiting all the details of the 9/11 files.
“This task force will be a relentless pursuit of truth and transparency,” she continued. “We will not stop until the American people have the answers they deserve.”
With the help of other Republican officials, such as Representatives Tim Burchett (R-TN), Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Michael Cloud (R-TX), Eli Crane (R-AZ), and Nancy Mace (R-SC), Luna emphasized that the task force will function in a nonpartisan manner. The challenges at hand cut beyond party lines, she argued, noting that she hopes Democrat officials will join the effort as well.
“This is about transparency. No one person elected to office is more qualified to look at the information that’s been hidden from us,” Luna stated.
In March, the task force’s first hearing will take place, and it will specifically center on the JFK assassination.
According to Luna, the inquiry would question established myths, such as the “single bullet theory,” and it will include testimonies from attending physicians and those who were part of earlier official inquiries, such the Warren Commission.
“Based on what I’ve seen so far, the initial hearing held in Congress was faulty,” Luna continued. “I believe there were two shooters, and we should be finding more information as we gain access to classified files.”
Luna emphasized the public’s demand for answers surrounding the Epstein client list and the true origins of COVID-19, and specifically if the virus was developed for nefarious reasons. She will also address the “gaslighting” and obstructionism regarding UAPs and UFOs.
“If we’re writing the budget for the Pentagon, why is it that we don’t have access to information about UAPs?” Luna questioned. “This is not a free and true government.”
Although Luna acknowledged possible challenges, she was hopeful that federal institutions such as the Department of Justice, Department of Defense, and CIA would cooperate. “If agencies stonewall us, I’m going to make that known to the American people,” she assured.
The State Department, Department of Defense, CIA, FBI, NSA, and other key agencies have already received letters from the task team. Luna stressed that the task team will work decisively to find the truth — rather than depending on “strongly worded letters.”
“We’ve been treated like children for too long, kept in the dark by those we elected to serve us,” Luna concluded. “It is my solemn duty to begin mending this trust.”

The Roswell Report: Fact versus Fiction in the New Mexico Desert (1995)
Tumblr media
The U.S. Air Force published The Roswell Report in 1995 in response to congressional interest in ascertaining "'the facts regarding the reported crash of an UFO in...1947...at Roswell, New Mexico'", which had sparked many conspiracy theories in the forty-eight years since the incident (1). The report is a 993-page collection of narratives and supporting documents reporting to comprise the complete body of knowledge on the Roswell incident possessed by the Air Force in 1995. The extent to which the report is truly representative of all government knowledge is heavily debated among the UFO community.
Supporting this skepticism, one page from the introduction seems to have been reclassified in every version of the document currently available to the public. The section is debunking a claim that military personnel stationed at Roswell Army Airfield should have been able to recognize the debris as that of a research balloon from the MOGUL program.
Tumblr media
The last sentence fragment before the censor reads, "UFO researchers, including those who are said to have known all about MOGUL, apparently did not compare the" [page redacted] (3-4). This is despite the stated intention for the report being "to tell the Congress, and the American people, everything the Air Force knew about the Roswell claims," up to and including declassification of "any of the information discovered...under security classification" (1).
The report reiterates the conclusion made by the Air Force in 1947 that the debris found at the crash site in Roswell was nothing more than a research balloon from the MOGUL program, representing just another in a long line of comedic balloon incidents during the program's duration:
Tumblr media
Whether to believe the report as a good-faith effort by the U.S. government to disclose more information to the public, or to reject it as yet another cover-up, is up to the reader. However, the report was undeniably an extraordinary and expansive undertaking led by the Secretary of the Air Force's Declassification and Review Team and supported by countless archivists, historians, and military and government personnel.

2024 AD - Becoming President of the USA through transparency on UFOs
Tumblr media
Since retired Major David Grusch last year accused the Department of Defense of hiding ships and bodies of non-terrestrial intelligence, a lot of water has passed under the bridge and many things have happened. In the meantime, the authenticity of the controversial Nazca mummies presented by the Mexican journalist Maussan has been established, and Colonel Carl Nell confirmed at SALT in New York what David Grusch declared last year, namely that it is not a secret in military circles that the Earth is an object of interest by non-human beings. Furthermore, Harvard University has recently declared that on Earth man has coexisted with crypto-terrestrial beings since time immemorial (which therefore in turn confirms the so-called Nazca mummies). So now the limit is full, and the next president of the USA will necessarily have to deal with these burning topics.
Talk of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) or UFOs has steadily evolved from fringe conspiracy theories to a legitimate national security concern.  This change in perception has been mirrored by a growing public demand for transparency and disclosure of relevant government documents.  As the 2024 presidential election approaches, the question of whether candidates will commit to releasing these documents has become a hot topic of discussion.  The stakes are high, as the next president's stance on UAP disclosure could significantly affect government transparency policies and public trust.
Candidates' position on UAPs in the 2024 elections
Recent social media campaigns have sought to place UAP disclosure at the forefront of the agendas of 2024 presidential candidates.  These campaigns argue that candidates, regardless of their political affiliation, should openly engage in the declassification of UFO-related documents .  This call to action highlights a broader desire for honesty and openness within the federal government, urging candidates to prioritize transparency in their policy proposals.
Public request for disclosure of UFO documents
There is a growing consensus among the American public on the need to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding the UAP documents.  This call for declassification is not driven simply by curiosity but by a genuine concern for national security and government accountability.  The public seeks factual information about UAPs to better understand potential threats and foster an environment of trust between the government and its citizens.
Historical stigma and its impact on whistleblowers
The stigma surrounding UFOs has long dissuaded whistleblowers from providing information.  Prominent figures, such as Bob Lazar, were discredited and faced professional exile for their claims regarding government knowledge of extraterrestrial technology.  This historical context highlights the need for cultural and procedural change within government agencies, fostering an atmosphere in which discussion of UAPs is not ridiculed but encouraged for the sake of transparency.
Bipartisan Congressional Efforts for Transparency
In an era marked by divisive politics, UAP disclosure represents a rare bipartisan issue.  Initiatives such as the proposed UFO disclosure law demonstrate both parties' commitment to revealing the truth.  These legislative efforts highlight the growing consensus that understanding and recognizing the existence of UAPs is crucial to national security and scientific progress.
Impact of teasing in political debates
The trivialization of UAP-related questions in political debates, as seen in previous exchanges, only serves to undermine public trust in elected officials.  When candidates dismiss questions or respond with derision, they signal an unwillingness to seriously address voters' concerns.  Such attitudes impede productive discourse and contribute to an environment of skepticism and disenchantment with the political process.
Implications of nondisclosure for national security
Maintaining the status quo of secrecy surrounding UAPs has tangible national security implications.  Without public disclosure and informed discourse about the nature of UAPs, strategizing a comprehensive defense or understanding potential technological advances remains a challenge.  A commitment to transparency and declassification of relevant documents could pave the way for greater preparedness and a safer nation.
Potential legislation and presidential authority
The push for disclosure of UAPs has made its way into the halls of Congress, prompting legislative proposals to force the release of classified documents.  Such legislation, if passed, would not only mark a significant step toward government transparency but would also redefine presidential authority regarding national security secrets.  The passage of these bills could serve as a catalyst for change, forcing future administrations to prioritize openness and truth in their governance.
Ultimately, the conversation surrounding UAP disclosure in the 2024 presidential election intersects with broader issues of government transparency, national security, and public trust.  As candidates outline their positions on this issue, their answers will likely reflect their broader vision for America's future.  The time has come to reevaluate the layers of secrecy that have long obscured the truth about UAPs, calling for a new era of openness and accountability in American politics. In the meantime, the mediators of political debates on TV are starting to ask increasingly slippery questions to the candidates in the running who will necessarily have to read up on the subject, as trying to evade these questions is equivalent to telling the voters: if I am elected I will continue with the old politics of government cover-ups, and that could mean the difference between not getting elected and getting elected.

Seeking Answers in the Unknown: The Complex Quest for UAP Knowledge
The Sol Foundation’s online event delves into the enigmatic realm of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP), interweaving insights from anthropology, artificial intelligence (AI), and the scientific community. This convergence of disciplines underscores the complexities of UAP research, marked by a scarcity of concrete data and the pervasive influence of disinformation. Dr. Eric Davis’s distinction between the “knowns” and “unknowns” in UAP physics succinctly captures this challenge, with the latter encompassing crucial yet elusive aspects such as electromagnetic emissions and material identification.
The incorporation of AI, as exemplified by Jonathan Berte’s initiative, offers a promising avenue for navigating the UAP information landscape. By scrutinizing historical data from trusted sources, AI can potentially authenticate UAP incidents and uncover patterns that may have escaped human analysts. However, the reliability of AI in this context is tempered by the field’s inherent instability and the risk of “AI hallucinations,” highlighting the necessity for rigorous validation against well-documented cases, such as the Belgian UFO wave, to ensure accuracy.
The Sol Foundation’s multifaceted approach, spanning policy analysis, metamaterials investigation, consciousness studies, and AI-driven research, serves as a paradigm for the interdisciplinary collaboration imperative in UAP studies. This holistic strategy, coupled with the foundation’s call for diverse expertise, acknowledges the intricate human dimension of UAP encounters and the consequent need for a nuanced, culturally sensitive framework.
Advancing our comprehension of UAP phenomena necessitates a synergistic effort, combining the meticulous application of AI for data analysis, fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue, and advocating for measured transparency. Dr. Davis and Jonathan Berte concur on the pivotal role of clean, non-defense related datasets in integrating UAP research into academic discourse, underscoring the need for a controlled declassification of pertinent information. Initiatives like the Galileo Project, dedicated to generating such datasets, exemplify the potential for collaborative, evidence-driven exploration.
The pursuit of knowledge in UAP research is inextricably linked with the challenges of secrecy, misinformation, and the quest for understanding. By embracing a multifaceted approach, leveraging the strengths of various disciplines, and promoting transparency, we can distill speculation into scientific certainty, illuminating the heretofore obscure landscape of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena.
