i domt want to sound ungrateful for what my family spends their money on for me but i actually hate what amazon has done to christmas like it is just a little disappointimg to get amazon branded comic book template and amazon branded pencils and mass produced amazon clown doll and mass produced amazon clothes. im not even saying like. how dare you get me all these cheap gifts and not something expensive it just feels like there is less thought put into it… idc about getting a lot of things or expensive things but te clown for example. i collect clowns and they are special to me because they are all secondhand or handmade so they feel very ooak and that individuality is very important to me. brand new mass produced amazon clown betrays my collection policy bc if i could just go oline and look up “clown doll” and buy everything i see it wldnt be very fun ir special anymore. ig its a little different receiving a gift from someone who did that but the general idea is the same.

-handmade gift

-sharing something you love w someone else (bonus if u r combining it with their interests and likes)

-unrelated out amd about and u find soemthing that reminds you of them (i have so mamy of these in a bag i keep forgetting to give to people. yhey are christmas presents now)
