Larries are so out of this world absurd I cannot cope. Since before Harry's tour ended they have been pedaling that he's gonna take a long break to let Louis "shine." Some of them have even become so cuckoo that they think he's flat out retiring, forever.

This Larrie, in particular, is unhinged.

She's talking about the first time she said this weird ass thing (Harry walking away from his career to be with Louis) and how the comments called her delusional. "How are we feeling now" ... because it's been a year since his last show and he... IDK? Hasn't come back yet?

Hmmm. Last show of Live On Tour was July 14 2018. Was Harry active in July 2019? NO. He was still on a break. No news of a new album. He hadn't even been seen in a studio since 2018.

He was also seen with his creative director Molly in Civita about 10 days ago (multiple people saw her there). His assistant Luis was seen hauling a suit over his shoulder and both of his photographers, Lloyd and Anthony were there.

I know Larries, for all their attempts at portraying themselves as knowledgeable, never actually know anything. They don't pay attention to this sort of thing because it doesn't involve Louis, so they're not interested, but Harry is working on his fourth album. This isn't even speculation, Billboard reported on it.

Harry takes 2.5 years between albums, he has done that twice already. But I sincerely doubt he's gonna release an album at the 2.5 year mark this time because the US election is in November and it's gonna drown absolutely everything. It's the reason so many artists released music at the beginning of the year. Most likely scenario he's gonna wait for the dust to settle on that, and release in the spring again, making it 3 years instead of 2.5. But he is working on that album. Rob Stringer, head of Sony, was hanging out with his producer and sister just two weeks ago at Stevie's show.

This woman then goes on to say that someone is "messing with her" implying that it's someone in the know telling her stuff. And she doesn't know if this person is seeing if she's trustworthy and won't speak or if this person is using her to speak.

I just don't understand how these people who act like they pay such close attention can't look at past release dates and do some basic math. In fact, if you're supposedly experts on all things 1D and management and whatnot, how can you not know that the main thing Harry objected to in terms of 1D's schedule is that they released albums too close together. Actual literal quote from Harry "five albums in five years is pretty crazy, huh?" In the shadiest voice, when talking about something else entirely. He just felt the need to tuck that comment in.

He talked about how he didn't want to exhaust the fanbase. He saw it happening in real time with 1D, which went from big (UAN), to bigger (with TMH) to big but slightly lower than before (Midnight Memories) to a slump (Four). He saw concert tickets have to go out on Groupon, their singles barely cracking top 10, and the enthusiasm all around dropping. Because they released too much music too soon and toured too much too close together. He's not gonna make that same mistake. He LITERALLY talked about it in his Rolling Stone interview. He used the sentence "we didn't want to exhaust the fanbase."

Harry went through some massive years, and he didn't get a proper break in the minds of people during his actual break (2020/2021) because he exploded during the pandemic and his songs became huge hits. He took his usual break, disappeared, didn't perform for a long ass time, but he KNOWS he was still very present in people's minds. And then he had two huge years in 2022 and 2023. So yeah, he's gonna disappear for a little longer, but there is literally no indication that he's retiring.

In fact, during his last show, where people used parts of what he said out of context ("when the time is right" is a big one), he made sure to over and over say that he was coming back and it was just a break. Something he never did with 1D, mind you.

When the time is right was absolutely warning that he was gonna take a proper break. The man was probably exhausted. But he was seen with his producers in September 2023. Mind you, Tyler lives in Nashville and Kid lives in California. They were seen with Harry in London, blocks away from RAK Studios, which is where he recorded his last two albums. Do you think his two producers who live across the ocean, happened to travel to London at the same time and hang out near his usual studio for what reason? Fun? They both have kids and wives back home lol. Like, lady, you're full blown delusional.

I don't know how to break this to y'all but I've been a part of this fandom in one way or another since 2012 and this type of person has always existed. They always have some "tea" they always "know someone" and they're always hinting at something that will happen "soon." And then they move the goalposts for a while, "something changed behind the scenes" or a new contract popped up, or someone did something that changed something else, etc. There's always an excuse as to why all the "tea" doesn't end up happening. In 2024, Louis did Argentina again and this time he chose the same stadium 1D had performed at back in 2014. 1D did two shows in that stadium and the attendance was 80,622. So each show was roughly 40,000. So already we're not at "tripled" territory, because triple 25,000 is 75,000. But alright, it's a boost isn't it?

Wrong. Turns out he couldn't even close to sell out, so they "virtually" sold out the upper stands so people would buy tickets elsewhere, then didn't even open them and made fans go to lower stands or floor. A bunch of people also got in for free. And even then the floor wasn't even close to full and neither were the lower stands. It's all on twitter and there's pictures and video of it if you want to look it up.

If he even repeated his 25,000 crowd I'd be shocked. But he definitely didn't grow this audience. It was as small as before, at best.

And this is an example of him somewhere he's loved. He also did Allianz Parque, which is a stadium as well, but he cropped the stadium to fit only a fraction of its normal attendance.

Harry had three shows in Allianz Parque which had a combined attendance of 137,009. Each show roughly 45/46K. That is a third of that stadium. And Louis did not sell out, there were tickets available in all sections right up until the moment the show started. Louis had one show. You can see the empty seats in multiple videos on Twitter. Meaning, Louis' attendance was at best 15K. That is, once again, the same exact audience he had for his previous tour.

Not tripled, not double, not even grown! Same audience.

What his fans gloated about the most was a show in Mexico and people use this aerial pic to show the audience and be like "oh wow"

Those... those are seats. Every single person in that picture is sitting down (or at least has access to a reserved seat). It is indeed a lot of people, particularly for someone who can't write music (admitted by himself), writes trite lyrics, can't sing, and can't play instruments. But that's not "70,000." You have to be particularly bad at gauging crowds to believe it is.

This is a standing, crowded audience of 83,000 (Harry at Slane). Not only is the physical space already much, much bigger, but people are standing up, elbow to elbow. Not sitting down ON A CHAIR.

How is it possible for this fully GA crowd in a much bigger space to be only 13K more than a sitting down crowd in like half the space? You guys defy the laws of physics at this point. I know perspective might kick your ass, but look at the size of the stages to compare, look at how tiny Harry's looks because of how far away the picture was taken. You can see the roof of the stage in Louis' show in the picture above.

The 70,000 number came from a fan and people just ran with it, particularly multiple Spanish speaking blogs who aren't very reputable. The actual attendance was 32,000. I know there's a source for this but I didn't save it, it was an official Mexican news outlet who spoke with the organizers.

That is a lot of people! But it wasn't sold out, and once again, his attendance in 2023 wasn't far off? It was 23K.

And that is because harry being active or not has no impact on Louis' career. Harry's fans by and large do not GAF about Louis.

Harry has 63,890,885 monthly listeners on Spotify. Louis has 2,513,662.

And btw, his two most popular songs are collaborations, meaning most of those monthly listeners don't come from actually listening to him, but from listening to those two songs with two other artists. Bebe Rexha has 42,805,994 monthly listeners. Her collab with Louis is not in the top 10 of her most popular tracks, it is the most popular track for him. Steve Aoki has 13,765,900 monthly listeners, and his collab with Louis is also not in his top 10 most popular tracks. It's Louis' second most popular track.

Of course, Louis' fans (mainly Larries) believe the world is conspiring against him and Spotify is actually forging these numbers, for some reason. Even though his actual number of streams fits perfectly with this. And he gets paid from those streams, so that number gets audited and reviewed by lawyers. Spotify can't just claim whatever lol.

This is a festival (Arre in 2023) on the same ground as Louis' show with actual 70,000 attendance, but it's not seated, it's GA.

Here you have an entire Wikipedia article about the difference. Seated capacity tends to be roughly half of standing capacity. So half of 70,000 is... 35,000! Which is what organizers said was his actual attendance (32K actually, I remember that number vividly, I wish I had saved the source, but I'm sure we can find it if we actually look for it, I just don't speak Spanish).

Anyway, no, his crowds didn't triple. They didn't even grow. He has the same captive audience as always and it's mostly just conspiracy theorists. In the US and Europe his attendance was low as ever.

So apparently Savan Kotecha is working on some of the soundtrack for the "not 1D harry movie."

If you aren't familiar, he was one of 1Ds producers on their first and second album. In an interview he did about 1D he talked shit about a member [louis].

So a still pressed and rude MFER who doesn't like louis is working on the soundtrack of a movie mirroring H womanizer image of "younger man dates older women" specifically during mid 1D when he was only 19/20 time frame WHAT A SURPRISE.

With the interview he did seems like this MFER is just pressed he wanted to keep 1D in a stereotypical boybander box bc he thought their a boyband made for young women not "real" musicians and louis knew they were capable and should change up their sound. So after convincing their label to let them change, louis got all their producers fired and was the driving force behind MIDNIGHT MEMORIES.

way late to the party, but happy belated anniversary, 1D!

All these Facebook posts about One Direction got me thinking about the last fourteen years (five of them spent together).

I remember I didn't use to stan them bc they were being compared to Justin Bieber, whom I'm totally not a fan of. I used to avoid them like the plague. I didn't ever actively anti them, but I started out preferring The Wanted.

And then one of my FB friends started going off about what a great album UAN was. Then the following weekend, WMYB debuted on American Top 40, and I was wowed by their vocals. I couldn't resist the temptation, so I looked them up on Wiki at least to find out their names. Yes, I fall under that stereotype of "I just wanted to learn their names". lol

Anyway, I immediately gravitated towards Niall bc of his blond hair, good looks, and Irish charm. Nowadays, he's my favorite 1D solo, too. So I went down a rabbit hole and ended up downloading UAN. I guess the people who were comparing them to Bieber must've been antis or something bc they sang so much better than him!

The following year, I went to my first 1D concert and lost my voice from screaming so much. I was hooked!

When Zayn left and they went on hiatus, I cried like a baby for like a week straight. (not literally, but you get it lol) ngl I still can't listen to History without bawling my eyes out knowing that they'd basically lied to us ("This is not the end" my eye!) and disbanded/went solo. If they do reunite and come back, though, that would be so wonderful!

I am on vacation right now but.

This is a vent.

On 3rd October 2023, I got a DM from an account that I had only known in passing from searching for yuanqing fanworks. The DM asked if I was Buna on AO3 and if I would be interested in their upcoming event.

And when I said yes, the sender gave me a link to the Y/uanqing House server.

That was the beginning of my short forage into venturing into the side of fandom that speaks my mother tongue.

On 11th November 2023, I stepped into their general chat and saw a member (let's call them S) who was in the Yua/nqingyuan Clubhouse server with me shared a screenshot of the reactions of the members in that server to their art. Without covering their name and profile picture.

Now, if you are in Yuanqingy/uan Clubhouse, you would know that the two most important rules that would result in an immediate ban if broken are a) NO minors and b) NO sharing screenshots of the server. And basically you have to read the rules before you can gain access to the server.

The reason for the "NO minors" rule is that the server itself is NSFT. And the reason for the "NO sharing screenshots of the server" is to prevent personal information leaks that might expose the members of the server as proshippers.

Now, the Yu/anqing House rules do not have anything against sharing screenshots of their server. So after spending a few days reading over the rules, I contacted the mods of the Yuanqingyuan Clubhouse server, as it was a breach of their rules.

The mods offered to hide my name when they talked with S over the breach of their rules. I declined, because if I had agreed, S would have told Yuanqi/ng House and they would assume that they have a spy, which I was not, and would trace it back to me seeing out of the three members of Yuan/qing House that were in Yua/nqingyuan Clubhouse when that happened, the other two are friends and I was, at best, an acquaintance.

November the 17th 2023, S was kicked from Yuanqi/ngyuan Clubhouse. As per the rules of the server.

On 20th November 2023, S sent the screenshot of the conversation the mod from Yua/nqingyuan Clubhouse had with them about their breach of rules, without covering my name - in General Chat, on November 20th, and no I don't have it now because they kicked me and I don't just take screenshots for shit and giggles. S also admitted that it was their fault for not reading the rules.

The next day, November the 21st, the mod who sent me the DM with the invite link into Yuanq/ing House DMed me. To be honest, it was quite tiring to get that at 11pm.

At first, the mod asked if I had anything against S, which, at that point, I did not. Then, because I was late in replying, the mod said they would try guessing, and they guessed that I hate them because I overheard them bad-talking Yuanqingy/uan Clubhouse in voice chat that one time. Also apparently because I hadn't talked or interacted in general chat since then.

Which, to be honest, they were wrong. I hate voice chat and that was one of the few times I tried voice chat. I found it wasn't any more enjoyable than the previous times. So I just decided to not do it again. Also I was busy studying and working two jobs so it would be impossible to be active on two servers.

And then the mod said that they wished I had taken care of the matter better. By that, they meant I should have private messaged S to tell them to take the screenshot down.

For your information, Yuan/qing House is a small server but it has around 80 members, 76 members the last time I checked before I was kicked. That is not a small number.

And my concern is that the "NO screenshots of the server" rule was put there for the safety of everyone in the server. It is alright to share that in a small, private chat before three or four people but to air it out in a nearly eighty-member server?

I did tell the mod that I would warn them before the next person who violates it was kicked. But apparently I was misunderstanding them. They meant that I should have private messaged S to delete the screenshot and pretended that it did not happen. "That server has a rule against screenshot, please take it down, don't do that again," verbatim, if I remember correctly, when I asked them what did they mean by “handle it better”.

When I said that Yuanqin/gyuan Clubhouse is a private server so they don't allow screenshots, and that S should have at the very least covered the names and profile pictures, and that I only did it after reading through the rules of both servers, they said they were afraid of leaving me in the server because others might be afraid that I would screenshot their server things and share it somewhere.

Again, that is a legit fear. But then again, it is because of that (nearly) same fear that Yuan/qingyuan Clubhouse has their rules.

It was also on that day that I learned apparently Yuanq/ing House was a private server. It was not written on their rules and I said that to them and they have promised to rewrite the rules.

However, only until December 28th, did the announcement about implementing new rules, one that includes “NO screenshot unless asked for permission” and “Private Server” came.

I was not kicked on November 21st. However, this time…

Let's say I am an ex-member of Yuanqing House now. And to be honest, I feel relieved.

If they were so determined to kick me that they had a member cleansing at the end of the year just for it then well, they got what they wanted. But also I have also gotten a lesson in that not everyone who looks friendly is a friend. Again.

I heard from some friends later that S cried over how, presumably because it was a vague tweet, I "can hate S so much when we don't even know each other" after I blocked S just because I was annoyed at having to have a conversation after 11pm - I only do that for my bosses and they pay me. But looking back, maybe I should have blocked S over not covering my name - in General Chat, on November 20th, and no I don't have it now because they kicked me and I don't just take screenshots for shit and giggles - or because I have transgressed against them so that the simplest rule over blacking out other people's name does not apply to me.

And seeing as the mod who reached out to me, for some reason, mentioned that S is the owner of the server, I wonder what that was supposed to mean. Does it mean that since I was in their server, I should turn a blind eye to their wrong? Or that I should pay them more respect than any other people just because they own the server?

They told me that Y/uanqing House is a closed server, when up until I was kicked (afternoon of 28th December GTM+7) there was nothing on the rules that indicated such, and no one had told me before, and the mod admitted that it was their fault. When I saw the announcement of the new additional rules, I snorted out loud.

Well, what done is done. I still don't know why I haven't gotten a notice of why I was kicked. Frankly, seeing what was going around on twitter… I don't know if I want to actually spare a thought about them anymore.

I cannot change people’s perspectives. I cannot change what their reality seems like to them. In their version of reality, I was the attacker and them the victim.

S is a big name artist and the owner of the server and I on the other hand do not have a presence in the fandom. I wonder if that's why the conversation the mod had with I was about how they fear I would leak their conversations when they bad talked the other server a few days after I got into their server and got into their voice chat and took a screenshot that includes the name of two members of that server, without even editing out the names.

I am curious but I can live with that.

To be honest, I should have run when I saw the 18- reaction in the roles channel. To be honest, there are many times in the limited time I was in there that I should have run.

I have heard from other members in that server that they feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Or that they do not feel like they are in a supportive environment.

I wish them, the members that feel unsafe and uncomfortable and unsupported, all the best and that every choice they choose to take would be a good one.

Now, however, I will be returning to my vacation, and yes I was on vacation when this whole thing was happening and I did not know until like 3pm this afternoon. And also think of a way of cutting my connection to Yuanqing House and their events completely. I do not want to be associated with a server that shares NSFW artworks and artworks from locked accounts in General Chat.

Perhaps I should delete the tweet of the fic I wrote for them. Or at the very least remove the name of their event away from my fic. Perhaps write the companion piece for it that I have been wanting to write but can't because of this thing with S.

I love that fic very much and feel that it does not deserve to be associated with such an event.

Perhaps I should even retract my permission to one of the server members about translating one of my e-rated yuanqing omegaverse fics since, given what just happened, I do not know if they are an adult or not.

I know they have two members in the Yuanqi/ngyuan Clubhouse server, one that I even vouched for. I know the mods will not kick them out just because of this - we have rules for a reason. I hope they know I am not uncomfortable with their presence because frankly, they are not responsible for what the other server did.

I too did not realise that they sent artworks of locked accounts. I too did not realise that some of the 18+ tweets I retweeted were drawn by teenagers. For that, I am sorry and I will try to do better.

The one thing I regret is that I have not asked them what would happen if I had reported S for breaking the other rule that would result in an immediate ban. If that happened, I would love to hear their takes on how I should have taken care of it.
