1) Does your OC have a voice claim, if so who?

Alas accent issues strike again... in my head Muro sounds like a thicker version of my accent with some spanish pronunciation mixed in. i haven't watched much italian let alone nepolitian stuff so i couldn't say a lore accurate one either, but his voice is pretty deep and he has a smokers rasp.

7) Vice-Versa! If your OC is in the modern day, what fantasy class would they be? Would they be a different race?

Well the easy answer is that Celia would be an Aasimmar! in terms of fantasy class, as a direct translation of his stand power he would have to be some sort of heavy hitting but also magic user, possibly a warlock [deal with the devil ect...] with a focus on projectiles and defence... he would be multiclassing 100%, some sort of magic/fighter mix

8) What hobbies does your OC have? What do they do to unwind?

Music and cars! To unwind he loves nothing better than going down to the garage and tinkering away at a vehicle with music blaring, but he will settle for a nice audiobook at home

11) What was your inspiration for your OC?

the straight answer is a very stoic ffxiv dragoon oc, from ishguard aka fantasy england/the vatican, she had to take on the very deadly role of dragoon as it was the only upward mobility she had, and got involved in the underground resistance and criminal groups.

in terms of what other characters inspired him, there are a few main ones:

Alan[na] of Trebond: The lioness quartet made me transgender and ofc any oc based on [word of god genderfluid!!!] Alanna wouldnt stop at 'crossdressing for safety' and would be genderqueer as fuck with a complex relationship with being a man or a woman and really being fed up of the whole binary overall. Also redheads!

Honorary mention to Kel for being much closer to Muros stoic personality [Celia is more like Alanna]

Dio/Giorno: im a sucker for when people draw them with golden hair and i wanted to borrow that for my fancy new jjba oc!

Guts: ...

other than that there's a heaping chunk of my gender issues and lots of community trauma. Overall i just wanted to write a story i didnt read much of, and slowly put more and more of myself and the people i know in it

Abused working dog. unlike some of my other ocs he doesnt really have an animal i associate him with [e.g. Mura: hare or snake] but hes the beaten dog to Conficcares abused cat

orchid: cover this song (a little bit mine) by will wood. it is currently like. my favorite song ever its just so perfect and gorgeous. it speaks 2 me. hgg im becoming like a will wood nut lol

mahonia: messy/imperfect artworks (goofy "bad" movies, weird old shock-fics, etc.) i adore them and nothing inspires me to create more. it brings out the conceited urge to try and improve ideas i see potential in, with the creativity and freedom only people who arent afraid to not please everyone can express.

OOh! Thank you Harper! for this ask game- last two under the read more bc i found it so fun to dig into their answers

39, What does your character have yet to realize about themselves?

Dina: That shes a hypocrite and can never be an unbiased source of information and advice. She likes to act like she above bias and emotional sway, but even people she acts like she hates and sees as to far gone [Tesoro] she will protect from others because of how well she knows him as a person, warping her perception of the bad he does. Cherry is worse than Tesoro in many ways, but she loves Cherry so much and while she often grapples with Cherrys blase attitude towards human life, she can never see the harm Cherry does as she would with any other person, because its the woman she loves and she still remembers when Cherry was sweet and funny and loved people, and can still see some of that in her.

Russo: Her desire to help people is born from something selfish, and many of the ways she 'looks out for people' are less actually trying to do the best thing in the situation and more about making herself feel powerful and remind herself that she isnt weak/alone anymore. She projects her younger self onto other victims, and acts like she wanted other people do to for her, ignoring the wishes of the actual victims because she 'knows better'. It would be fine if she helped people because it makes her feel better, but by ignoring the peoples she helping wishes and projecting her own she twists it into something ugly.

Cherry: She does actually care about people, beyond just Dina, shes just terrified of losing them if she gets to close, so she sticks to only people she already knows and tries to ignore the humanity of everyone else and portray herself as an apathetic monster who doesn't value human life at all- when instead her anger and actions [justified or not] have almost always come from places of love, even as they manifest as grief and rage and destruction.

Paula: Shes allowed to be weak and lean on people. Shes an incredibly proud woman, and while she was correct in not leaning on her children as much as possible, but she even hated reaching out for help from other adults. Partly because shes used to be refused help, but as her pain and fatigue worsens she cant help but stress about being a burden, being weak. Becoming a hostage to be used against her sons doesn't help, but she eventually realizes that her children would have been trapped with or without her being ill, she slowly learns to come to terms with her disability, and then once shes free she learns to lean on the shoulders and take the hands offered to her. it takes a long while tho.
