I. New Areas
New Areas Now Available
◇ New Areas: In Version 5.2, the following areas in Natlan will become available: Tezcatepetonco Range, Quahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan.
※ As long as you have completed Archon Quest Prologue: Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom," a Teleport Waypoint will be automatically unlocked near Tezcatepetonco Range in the northwest of Natlan's Stadium of the Sacred Flame. (If you have already completed this Archon Quest, the Teleport Waypoint will be unlocked after the update). You'll also receive the Primogem reward for this Teleport Waypoint when it unlocks automatically.
◇ Natlan Reputation System Update: With the opening of new areas, the Natlan Reputation System now includes Tribe Reputation for the Flower-Feather Clan and Masters of the Night-Wind.
◆ Unlock Criteria:
• Complete "Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame" in Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn"
Adds the Natlan Fishing Association, where Travelers can exchange for new items here.
In addition, there will be new Fishing Points and "Radiant Spincrystals" in Natlan.
II. New Characters
5-Star Character "Skyborne Arbiter" Chasca (Anemo)
◇ Vision: Anemo
◇ Weapon: Bow
◇ The Peacemaker of the Tlalocan, the ender of all disputes.
◆ Elemental Skill: Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt
◇ After casting her Elemental Skill "Spirit Reins, Shadow Hunt," Chasca immediately deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Anemo DMG to nearby opponents, and enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state. Chasca then mounts "Soulsniper: Ritual Staff" and remains airborne, increasing her Movement SPD and resistance to interruption. In this state, tap the Normal Attack button to deal Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG to opponents. Hold the Normal Attack button to carry out "Multitarget Fire" and load up to 6 Shadowhunt Shells based on the duration for which the skill was charged, dealing DMG to selected opponents. Some Shadowhunt Shells will undergo Elemental Conversion based on the Elemental Types of the other characters in the party, dealing Nightsoul-aligned DMG corresponding to the Elemental Types.
◆ Elemental Burst: Soul Reaper's Fatal Round
◇ Chasca's Elemental Burst fires a "Galesplitting Soulseeker Shell" that deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Anemo DMG to opponents. Afterward, the Galesplitting Soulseeker Shell will split into 6 Soulseeker Shells, which attack nearby opponents. Soulseeker Shells will undergo Elemental Conversion based on the Elemental Types of the other characters in the party, dealing Nightsoul-aligned DMG corresponding to the Elemental Types.
4-Star Character "Shadow of the Night-Wind" Ororon (Electro)
◇ Vision: Electro
◇ Weapon: Bow
◇ A young man from the Masters of the Night-Wind who instead lives in the wild alongside all manner of life.
◆ Elemental Skill: Night's Sling
◇ Throws a "Spirit Orb" that can bounce between enemies, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG.
◆ Elemental Burst: Dark Voices Echo
◇ Summons a "Supersonic Oculus" to continuously taunt nearby enemies and deal Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG.
◆ Passive Talent: Nightshade Synesthesia
◇ After a nearby party member triggers Nightsoul Burst, Ororon will gain a set amount of Nightsoul points. Within 15s after using his Elemental Skill, when other nearby party members' Hydro or Electro attacks hit opponents, Ororon will also gain a set amount of Nightsoul points.
Also, when nearby opponents take Electro-Charged reaction DMG or Nightsoul-aligned DMG dealt by other nearby characters, Ororon will consume a set amount of Nightsoul points and enter the Nightsoul's Blessing state. He will then deal Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG to a set number of opponents.

〓Bug Fixes〓
● Quests
Fixes an issue whereby interacting with the tabletop to continue the adventure during Clorinde's Story Quest "Hunters' Gathering" would cause the game to enter the wrong scene under certain circumstances.
● Enemies
Fixes an issue whereby, when challenging the enemy "Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto," the DMG dealt would be erroneously reduced when all destructive waves from a single round of the Baleful Vajra's destructive waves hit the same character.
Fixes an issue whereby there is a chance that the "Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant" won't take DMG from Electro-Charged reactions when challenged.
Fixes an issue whereby the progress for "Adaptive Countermeasures" erroneously continues to accumulate even after the game is paused when challenging the "Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device" or "Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker."
Fixes an issue whereby there is a chance the enemy erroneously exits combat and recovers their HP if a player is downed when challenging "Childe," "Signora," "Shouki no Kami," or "Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto."
● Characters
Fixes an issue whereby, when Xilonen activates a Source Sample, the corresponding special effect would not properly display on certain devices.
Fixes an issue whereby when Yelan uses her Elemental Skill to mark enemies, if her Lifeline explodes while triggering Nightsoul Transmission to switch to another character, the Elemental Particles generated will experience abnormalities.
Fixes an issue whereby Xilonen would erroneously remain in idle animation when she fell while climbing in the Nightsoul's Blessing state under specific circumstances.
Fixes an issue whereby Xilonen's Charged Attack special effect would not be correctly displayed as the corresponding element when she gains other elemental infusions.
Fixes an issue whereby other Travelers experience erroneous camera shaking when Kachina uses a Normal Attack while riding Turbo Twirly in Co-Op Mode.
Fixes an issue whereby characters with alternative Sprint Skill or Nightsoul's Blessing state would experience rapid, abnormal twitching on the surface of the water when using the related skills or entering the corresponding state under specific circumstances.
● Genius Invokation TCG
Fixes an issue whereby, when the Character Card "Chiori" is defeated after summoning the humanoid "Grouchy, Knife-Wielding Tamoto" and then revived, her Normal Attacks are unable to trigger said Tamoto's effects.
Fixes an issue whereby, when the Character Card "Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning" is frozen, its Talent Cards cannot be used.
● Audio
Fixes an issue whereby character movements trigger erroneous sound effects after completing some challenges related to "O Nightsoul, inscribe your shadow in this place..."
Fixes audio quality issues with some of Citlali's English voice-over during the Archon Quest "Beyond the Smoke and Mirrors."
● Other
Fixes an issue whereby Geo constructs can be abnormally created on the "Kaboom Box" after placing the gadget.
Fixes an issue whereby Saurians in Natlan who were being indwelt and controlled would erroneously recover HP even when there were no "Teleport Waypoints" nearby under specific circumstances.
Fixes an issue whereby the in-game camera would not return to its default distance after characters teleported from the heads of "Long-Necked Rhinos" to other places.
Fixes an issue whereby the achievement "Rhythm Tengoku" cannot be completed when preventing the enemy "Electro Abyss Mage" from regenerating its Ward.
Fixes an issue whereby there is a small chance that Saurians' special effects will not display normally from the view of the host player (Player 1) when other players are indwelling Saurians in Co-Op Mode.
Fixes some text errors in certain languages and optimizes text. (Note: Related in-game functions have not changed. Travelers can view the changes in different languages by going to the Paimon Menu > Settings > Language and changing the Game Language.)

I rewatched alien: romulus with subtitles this time so if you (like me) were looking for spelling/names OR might be able to answer some small lore questions, I'll list them all under the cut :)
(I apologize in advance for the shitty formatting. I typed this all out like an animal and I truly do not know how to edit tumblr formatting lmao)
Characters:
Marie Raine Carradine (Rain), Andy (model number ND-225, also: could that be a positronic man reference? Positronic Man's Andrew was NDR-113 but the ND -> Andrew thing felt too similar to ignore), Tyler, Kay (Tyler's sister), Bjorn (Tyler and Kay's cousin, also the father of Kay's unborn baby), Navarro, and Rook (same model as Ash from Alien, Rook is his surname and he has an unknown first name I believe)
Places:
Jackson (a WY mining colony), Yvaga III (a non Weyland-Yutani solar system which apparently means that androids are not allowed there which is INCREDIBLY interesting to me), Corbelan IV (the name of the ship the group works out of. I think it's supposed to be a hauling vessel? Short flight probably because it doesn't have any long flight capabilities like cryosleep chambers), Renaissance Space Station (the name of the station where shit goes down, separated into two halves called Romulus and Remus)
Some interesting tidbits:
- Rain's dad FOUND Andy "in the trash" according to Bjorn. Also, Rain's dad (presumably) repaired him, wrote directives for him, and knew enough about synthetic programming to know how to alter their personality. Or maybe he just straight up told Andy "hey memorize this book of dad jokes" and Andy was functional but just as glitchy when they found him.
- Jackson is fucked, btw. With all of those facehuggers that fell into the colony the odds are that at least one of them survived and, as Andy himself said, they are "busy little creatures". I wonder if there will be future mentions to a destroyed Jackson colony?
- The scene with Kay sort of quietly sneaking through the hallway with the orange lighting looked SO MUCH like the alien from alien: isolation, with the flared fingers and all. Am I the only one that made that connection?? Was it a connection at all lmao??? It's all I can think abt each time I see that gif.
- Tyler's actor was fucking incredible. I missed a lot of the hard hitting scenes the first time but goddamn. The tear while Kay is screaming and they are trying to be quiet? Begging andy ON HIS KNEES to open the door to save Kay? The way he's like numbly denying what he just saw saying "okay, okay. I'll just go and get her" after Kay gets taken. very good shit
- Rook says "I discovered the genome" as in HE specifically discovered it. I just thought that was interesting that he attributed it to himself. I wonder if he was in charge and had human assistants (interesting implications there to the importance of synthetics to WY's scientific structure) or if HE was the "assistant" (bc he's a synth) and yet was the one who discovered it and, probably regardless of what the human scientists believe, takes the merit of the discovery.
- It seems like WY synthetics are STRONGER than xenomorphs. Andy pried open a closing station door and held up the elevator in two scenes, both of which had moments where a xenomorph tried to do the same thing and failed or was not able to do it as effortlessly as he had. Maybe I'm reading into the movie magic too much but I was VERY interested in that.
Questions!!! (most of these probably do not have answers yet, which is okay, but some of you have encyclopedic knowledge of alien lore lol so I just wanted to try)
1. Is Rain under 18?? I didn't catch the info on the screen when Rain was talking to the WY rep about her quota but I can't understand why they would ask that if she was over 18. Why would it matter? Was it maybe just because she had family listed on her account or something?
2. WHY are there "quotas" and contracts? What are THEY (the workers) getting out of it? Are they prisoners? Are they colonists that didn't realize what the fuck they were signing on to do? Was Rain born on the colony? They said that it was Rain and Andy's first time in space, so probably, right?
3. Does a xenomorph grow in the chambers of the heart? I sort of figured because it went down the throat that it grew in the stomach, but it seemed like (thru the gore at least) the xenomorph was incubating and burst from the chambers of the heart. I may have misidentified the organs though lol, or maybe Navarro's heart just straight up was In The Way.
4. Do WY androids have the same heat signature as a human? If so, why? It is way too much a coincidence to build an android with a 98.6 ambient temperature. If they do NOT have the same heat signature, why didn't the facehuggers react to andy? They reacted to the flare despite it being non-organic, so I thought they would've reacted to him in some way at least, or had some sort of scene with them crawling all over andy like spiders trying to see if he was organic and then treating him like furniture when they realized he wasn't (missed opportunity cause that would've been a really freaky shot lol)
5. Why did Kay touch her breast after she had "given birth"? Was she lactating the genome? I tried to pay very close attention bc I missed it the first time too but I don't know what they were trying to insinuate there. It seemed too sticky to be the genome.

C-03-303: “The Fractured Martyrs” (Lobotomy Corp. x CCCC Fan Abnormality)
I’m back! And I’ve got something else for you!
Yet again, this one’s a crossover. A CCCC crossover, specifically. Hope you like it!
“We will be combined, wether that be dead or alive.”
The Fractured Martyrs are an Abnormality that can take many forms depending on their mood. However, the Abnormality tends to take three main forms, each belonging to a different identity they can take on.
The Fractured Martyrs-1 takes the form of a man with purple, angelic wings, wearing a black blindfold, sitting in the Containment Unit.
The Fractured Martyrs-2 takes the form of a partially-damaged android with piercing blue eyes, standing in the Containment Unit.
The Fractured Martyrs-3 takes the form of a man with a trident and hypnotic red eyes that stay shut until an employee enters the Containment Unit.
Basic Information
Risk Classification: ALEPH
Attack Type: Unknown (Red (-1) / White [-2] / Black {-3})
Max. E-Boxes: 30
Good Mood Range: 21-30
Neutral Mood Range: 11-20
Bad Mood Range: 0-10
Max. Qliphoth Counter: 3
Managerial Guidelines
1. The Abnormality has three states of being designated as The Fractured Martyrs-1, The Fractured Martyrs-2, and The Fractured Martyrs-3. These entities take on distinct personalities: as such, the Abnormality’s work preferences cannot be properly distinguished.
2. When Insight work was performed on The Fractured Martyrs-1, the state of the Abnormality changed to The Fractured Martyrs-2. The process was reversed upon performing Attachment work with The Fractured Martyrs-2.
3. When two or more Qliphoth Meltdowns occurred in the facility without the state of the Abnormality changing, the Qliphoth Counter lowered.
4. When an employee with III or less Temperance finished work with The Fractured Martyrs-1, the Qliphoth Counter lowered.
5. Subsequently, when an employee with III or less Prudence finished work with The Fractured Martyrs-2, the Qliphoth Counter lowered.
6. When the Qliphoth Counter became 1, the state of the Abnormality changed to The Fractured Martyrs-3.
7. When an employee got a Good Work Result with The Fractured Martyrs-3, the Qliphoth Counter raised. Subsequently, when the work result was Bad or Normal, the Qliphoth Counter lowered.
8. When all the Abnormality’s states breached at once, The Fractured Martyrs-3 voluntarily helped out with the suppression. However, after the two were both defeated, the Abnormality became hostile and required immediate suppression.
9. When The Fractured Martyrs-1 or The Fractured Martyrs-2 were defeated, they shrunk down to smaller forms and stopped moving. However, once both were suppressed, they began making their way towards The Fractured Martyrs-3.
10. The Manager must be very careful to suppress The Fractured Martyrs-3 before any contact is made between it and its other thirds.

Escape Information
The Heart Acoustic (The Fractured Martyrs-1: Breaching)
The Heart Acoustic in its breaching form takes the appearance of a large purple heart with a fanged mouth, enclosed by two purple rings lined with empty eye sockets. Floating just outside the rings are large violet bird wings.
It has 3000 HP and little movement speed, but will teleport to the healing room of a random department (that isn’t currently occupied by The Mind Electric) every time it loses 25% of its HP.
Wing Attack: The Heart Acoustic slaps a single target with one of its wings, dealing 20-30 Red damage with little cooldown.
Bite Attack: The Heart Acoustic bites a single target, dealing 25-40 Red damage with a medium cooldown.
AOE Attack: The Heart Acoustic lets out a shrill screech, making the room shake and dealing 30-50 White damage to all employees currently in the department with a long cooldown.
Red Defenses: 1.2
White Defenses: 0.8
Black Defenses: 1.7
Pale Defenses: 2.0
When it is defeated, it shrinks into Pathos Wisp, a small ball of purple smoke. It will not move until The Mind Electric is defeated and shrinks into Logos Wisp, at which point it will slowly move towards The Soul Eclectic.
The Mind Electric [The Fractured Martyrs-2: Breaching]
The Mind Electric takes the form of a large blue eye with a rhombus-shaped pupil, surrounded by glowing “eyelashes”. Protruding from its back is a spine-like limb with a mace on its tip.
It has 3000 HP and little movement speed, but will teleport to the healing room of a random department (that isn’t currently occupied by The Heart Acoustic) every time it loses 25% of its HP.
Sanity Attack: Its pupil slits as it stares at a single target, dealing 15-20 White damage with little cooldown.
Laser Attack: Its eye and eyelashes glow as it fires a short laser beam at a single target, dealing 20-35 White damage with a medium cooldown.
Mace Attack: With a few seconds charging up, it slams its mace onto a small group of targets, dealing 35-50 Red damage with a long cooldown.
Red Defenses: 0.7
White Defenses: 1.4
Black Defenses: 1.4
Pale Defenses: 2.0
When it is defeated, it shrinks into Logos Wisp, a small ball of blue electricity. It will not move until The Heart Acoustic is defeated and shrinks into Pathos Wisp, at which point it will slowly move towards The Soul Eclectic.
The Soul Eclectic {The Fractured Martyrs-3: Breaching}
The Soul Eclectic looks mostly the same as in its Containment Unit, except wearing rusted armour under its cloak and wielding a trident.
It has 9000 HP and average movement speed. It will focus its efforts on attacking The Heart Acoustic and The Mind Electric until they are both suppressed, upon which it will teleport to the central room of a random department (not occupied by Pathos or Logos Wisp), and attack all entities that attempt to suppress it.
Trident Attack (Blunt): It attacks a single target with the blunt side of its trident. Deals 15-20 Black damage with little cooldown.
Trident Attack (Tines): It attacks a single target with the prongs of its trident. Deals 25-30 Black damage with a medium cooldown.
Red Attack: With a few seconds charging up, it throws its trident at a group of targets, dealing 20-35 Red damage to all of them with a long cooldown.
White Attack: With a few seconds charging up, it drives its trident into the ground, dealing 40-50 White damage to the whole room with a long cooldown.
Red Defenses: 0.7
White Defenses: 0.7
Black Defenses: 1.6
Pale Defenses: 2.0
If its HP reaches 1000 before The Heart Acoustic and The Mind Electric have been suppressed, it starts rapidly healing until it reaches 4500.
If one Wisp reaches it while it’s attacking Agents, its colour changes to either purple or blue, it either grows wings or dons a crown, and its health increases by 4500. If both Wisps successfully reach it, a cutscene will play in which it momentarily transforms into a man wearing a half black, half tan jacket.
It grins, its head tilted down towards the floor, before suddenly its body beings glitching, and a shockwave engulfs the facility as they, once again, split. The Fractured Martyr-3 is immediately knocked unconscious, as the SP of 75% of the Agents in the facility immediately drops to 0.

Story
The Abnormality takes the form of a humanoid figure in the Containment Unit. The appearance of this humanoid figure differs depending on the identity of its current host.
It identifies itself as three separate entities trapped within the same body, and all information gathered about the Abnormality backs up this claim. Each are capable of taking control of the body at certain predictable intervals.
—
The first of these identities: C-03-303-1, or “The Heart”, makes the body grow wings and don a blindfold whenever he takes control of it.
He identifies himself as the emotional side of the three. He claims to be blind, though no one has seen what is beneath the blindfold while he is taking control, and his refusal to cooperate with Agents means that his claim cannot be confirmed.
The Heart has expressed a great distrust for the company and all employees within it. He may attempt to attack those who he believes pose a threat to him, though he can easily be fought off with a decent EGO weapon. Despite this, Agents must try their very best to ensure that no physical or emotional harm is done to him as to not aggravate him.
He has shown symptoms of many mental illnesses, including paranoia, but can warm up to Agents if they show him enough kindness. He has also shown symptoms of mood swings, as there have been multiple occasions where he has violently lashed out at an Agent that he believes wishes to cause him harm, only to profusely apologise and beg for forgiveness the next time the Agent works on him.
It is also believed that he may suffer from depression and anxiety. He seems to have, to an extent, a low self-esteem, but not the point where he disregards his self-worth as the emotional third. And above all, he expresses a great hatred for The Mind.
—
C-03-303-2, or “The Mind”, makes the body transform into a humanoid android when he takes control.
He identifies himself as the logical side of the three, and expresses a great hatred for The Heart, calling his mood swings pitiful and unnecessary.
Out of the three, The Mind is by far the most willing to cooperate with Agents, though still cautious of them. He has regularly expressed an interest in the Containment Unit’s mechanisms, though Agents are advised to share as little information as possible and to lie if necessary.
However, he has displayed intelligence on a level considerably greater than the other two personalities, and despite our best efforts, has figured out some of the Containment Unit’s mechanisms all by himself [though Agents must be careful never to let him know his deductions are correct].
He even claims to be able to unlock the door and leave containment at any time, though he’s never demonstrated this supposed ability simply because he knows the company doesn’t want him to.
The Mind regularly assists Agents in their work, specifically Insight work, although it’s suspected that it’s mainly to learn more about the Unit. He has also expressed an interest in being promoted to an Agent himself, saying he “could easily accomplish in 20 minutes what would take a whole department 2 hours”.
While there is little doubt that this is likely the case given his hyper-intelligence and status as a particularly powerful Abnormality, the existence of his other two identities has resulted in this idea being shot down as quickly as he brings it up.
—
C-03-303-3, or “The Soul”, makes the body transform into a man wearing causal wear hidden under a brown cloak when he takes control. He wields a glowing red trident which he can summon at will: the exact capabilities of it are unknown, but he has been seen using it to manipulate matter on multiple occasions.
He refers to himself as the “host” of the three, calling the other two parasites doing as they please within his head.
He generally distrusts Agents, though he tends to be more trustful of those who pretend to be willing to help him “become Whole”: a desire he expresses regularly, which he cannot reach apparently due to The Heart and The Mind’s constant fighting.
Aside from that, The Soul has also expressed a desire to leave, repeatedly insisting that they aren’t an Abnormality and acting particularly aggressive towards any Agent who challenges them on this point.
He is the least regularly seen of the three, typically appearing after repeated agitation from both Heart and Mind. As such, little data has been collected about him. However, Heart and Mind talk about him rather often. They are both sympathetic towards Soul and try their best to please him, claiming that his mental state is slowly deteriorating.
Despite this, the relationship between the two and Soul doesn’t appear to be positive. Mind refrains from talking about him for too long, preferring to focus on the task at hand, whereas Heart may express something close to fear of him depending on the topic.
We can only be sure of one thing: no matter the situation, The Soul must be approached with extreme caution to prevent further unnecessary death.
—
None of the employees really know where Abnormalities come from.
It’s said that not all of them began as Abnormalities, though nobody really knows whether this theory is true, and if it is, clearly it isn’t in all cases.
If there were any of true, normal origin, however, my guess is that The Fractured Martyrs are most definitely one of those ones. They act too human to have come from anywhere else.
I’ve only worked with them a few times, but I’m certain of that, from what I’ve seen from them. The whole “three people sharing a body” thing aside, they seem too… normal in casual conversation.
There’s no such thing as a truly normal Abnormality, however.
I began overseeing work with them after the death of my upperclassman. We call it the Trident Incident, and it’s kind of taboo to mention around here.
After all, who knew that such a complacent- if unusual and fairly stressed- Abnormality could cause the death of five people, including a Level V Agent with ALEPH-class EGO, so easily?
When The Fractured Martyr breached, it happened with zero warning: in fact, they seemed to knock the door straight off its hinges. Natsuki did her best to fight him off, but the blast still did a number on her spine: and unfortunately, the first people in the department other than myself to react to the blast were all clerks and low-ranking Agents.
It all happened so suddenly, and I don’t know why, but I froze up. I disobeyed the Manager’s orders and just watched. Ultimately, though, that cowardice might have saved my life. By the time Natsuki finally went down, the hallway was covered in red, bodies were littering the floor, and Soul looked like he was barely even scratched.
I heard footsteps as some of my more experienced colleagues arrived on the scene, but as soon as he realised they were there, Mind took control and just… nonchalantly walked back into containment.
Apparently, my status as the Trident Incident’s only survivor in the department made the Manager think I was a good replacement for her. Exactly why, I have no idea, but I didn’t care. All I wanted was answers. Natsuki was a well-respected Agent who’d been working in the company for far longer than I had: and she had worked with The Fractured Martyrs dozens of times before and they had no problems with her, even enjoyed her company, so what happened?
Luckily, the first time I stepped in that door, Mind was willing to clear up my confusion. That day, the day she was killed, Natsuki was working on Soul. Due to how rarely Soul takes control of the body, this was one of the first times she had worked on him.
As usual, he was talking about fusing himself with the other two to make himself “Whole” once more: taking back what rightfully belonged to him, and putting an end to the “dissonance”.
But she didn’t agree that that was right. Natsuki was a kind Agent, kinder than the company deserved, and when she heard all this talk of fusing with the others once and for all, she thought it was essentially killing them. She told Soul it was a good fate he had, to be stuck for the rest of eternity with people who cared about him so much.
He didn’t like that response. Of course he didn’t. After all, how would you react to being told the “parasites” taking control of your body were people too, and deserved to live just as much as you did?
Or at least, that was probably the way he saw things, because eventually he got so agitated that he broke down the door and painted the corridor red in a fit of rage that couldn’t have lasted longer than a minute, but took the lives of five people.
After that, Heart and Soul started acting more aggressive towards Agents, calling them traitors for opposing the one thing that would fix all their problems. Mind, as usual, called Heart’s grudge against the company petty, but doesn’t seem to hold it against Soul that much.
And to this day, Soul has shown no signs of remorse for the damage done during the Trident Incident.
I’m beginning to doubt whether a way out is even possible for him, though I’d never say that to his face or to any of their faces. Don’t want to suffer the same fate as Natsuki, after all.
Soul is obsessed with the idea that a way to make himself normal again is possible. But every time he comes close, all it ultimately does is make things worse than they used to be.
And from what we can infer, it’s been this way for a long time. Still there’s been no luck, and still he doesn’t give up hope. The others suffer for it, sure, but he shows no remorse. Innocent people suffer for it, but still he shows no remorse.
He’ll go to any lengths necessary to stop the fighting between Heart and Mind, to “fix” himself, and he’ll more than likely take this whole facility down for the sake of it.

Sorry if the damage outputs during the Escape Info feels unrealistic! I’m not very good at that. Anyways, this was a whole lotta writing and I’m running on a bit of a tight schedule today (for once), so… I’m done now!

Mother III
Final Form/Perfect Cell x Reader
Word Count: 4,277
cw: slight noncon, rough sex, blood, creampie, cum eating, face fucking
AO3 Version | Masterlist
Summary: AU where reader finds Cell’s egg in the woods and he’s just an alien instead of an android. (AKA my idea for Cell if he used a particular human as a surrogate ‘mother’ instead of eating people to reach his other forms). Meant to be scary/creepy so heed the tags for stuff you’re not comfy with but it is Cell after all so I hope I do it justice :D (chapters are in the same order as Cell’s forms.)
Pt. 1 | 2 | 3
18+ ONLY NSFW BELOW THE CUT
Four Months Later
You had remained on the edge for the last week of the month following Cell's visit expecting him to reappear like clockwork and have his way with you again. It was something that left you in a state of horrible anticipation and dread. You'd only realized how much you'd wanted to see him again when he didn't show up. Not even when the next month was halfway over or the month after that did he make his appearance. The whole experience had faded into a repressed area of your brain while life went on and the rest of humanity had no idea that some alien fucking monster had used you as a vending machine.
You had considered telling someone a few times about the encounters with Cell but you had no real evidence that any of it had ever occurred. You would just end up being sent away to a shrink for evaluation which was the last thing you needed. You had certainly learned your lesson on defying Cell's orders to stay put and wait for him so that's just what you did.
Your daily life had turned into a slow pull of the band aid when all you wanted was to tear it off and get it over with.
You twirled a strand of your hair not understanding the letters on the screen of your pc. A single paragraph was all you had written and the deadline was tomorrow morning.
Thank God it was Friday.
"Fucking hell," you muttered trying to rub the tiredness out of your eyes.
To hell with this, you thought, I'm going on a picnic this weekend.
With that in mind you let out a heavy sigh and resumed typing.
Almost half a year later and you were back where it all started. Your most peaceful spot next to the lake with your snacks unpacked on the blanket next to you. You stared out across the water letting your eyes unfocus and mind go blank feeling yourself relax almost completely for the first time in recent memory. Just for these next two days your weekend would be only for you.
Or so you thought.
You couldn't stop your eyes from wandering to the spot where Cell's egg had appeared and you were beginning to get the unnerving feeling that you were being watched just like back then. You could feel something that you couldn't put into words exactly. Like a pressure at the edges of your mind or a flicker of movement that was just outside your peripheral vision. It was energy radiating like a small sun that signified there was another in the woods with you.
You had the same feeling occasionally from your coworkers and people you passed on the sidewalk or at the grocery. It was as if you could feel people's auras even before you knew they were near although you had no idea if that was the right term for whatever it was. It was a lingering side effect of Cell's venom that, as far as you knew, was permanent this time.
You let out a shuddering breath you didn't know you'd been holding allowing your eyes to drift shut.
"How nice if you to come to me this time."
It isn't surprising to you, you're long past that, when you open your eyes to find Cell standing a few yards away. He was something far beyond what you could have ever imagined compared to that first night when he'd been born in your kitchen. Sculpted as if he were an ethereal forest spirit, maybe he was you had no idea, his features were entirely human now. It was a disturbing contrast to the rest of him which remained similar to that of an insect right down to his wings reappearing.
"What do you want?" you asked softly.
"A little late to be asking that isn't it?"
"Sorry I was a little busy the last few times I saw you."
He snorted, "And if I said I intended to reduce your little world to atoms just because I can? That you had eagerly helped me to attain the power to achieve such a thing, what then? Hm? Could you handle the responsibility of damning your entire race to oblivion in your final moments?"
You narrowed your eyes, "I don't believe you."
"Is that so?" Cell took a step closer, "Then what do you think I want?"
"I-I don't know. I don't even know what you are."
"I'm an amalgamation of different races passed on through previous generations determined by what type of surrogate they chose to complete their metamorphosis. In short, I'm an alien," he drawled out the last part at your blank expression.
"How did you get here? On earth I mean? You have to start from somewhere, right? You were an egg when I found you."
"Are you asking me how babies are made?" Cell's smile was pure evil as he intentionally ignored the rest of your question.
The questions kept pouring out of you like a flood afraid that at any moment Cell's accommodating mood would shift. Yet, he answered them all without anything worse than the occasional sarcastic remark. Cell didn't know how he'd ended up on earth but he believed that he'd been in stasis for a long time before you had discovered him. Possibly decades if not centuries buried in the soil only surfacing once his genetic match was born and matured enough for him to 'harvest' as he put it.
Cell explained that nearly every living thing gave off something called 'Ki' and that he had sensed yours one day around the time he had gained awareness. You hadn't believed him when he'd told you that he had only ended up in the forest entirely by chance where you liked to have your picnics but since he was being so open about everything else there was no reason for him to lie. It was a strange mixture of fate and his own biology that had brought you together on that day and it left your mind reeling.
It seemed that he also gained the knowledge of his surrogate race and that was why he had such a comprehensive understanding of your language and culture. That extended to your memories because Cell wasted no expense in teasing you about how many times you'd thought about him fucking you in the absence between his first and second forms during that part of his explanation.
"So this is your final form? You don't need to.. do that anymore," your face must have been dark red.
"Why? Could it be that you're disappointed?"
By then the sun was setting, it's oranges and pinks reflecting within Cell's eyes making him appear even more demonic, a single sharp canine poking out from his curled lip.
You hesitated a little too long without answering and the alien cackled at your expense, "You are. Fret not, little human. I still have a purpose for you. I did mean what I said before. About fucking you that is. I want to test out this form to it's full extent. I'm having many interesting new urges that I don't fully understand."
"You are?"
You gulped.
"I dreamed of you often while I was beneath the earth," Cell was close enough that you were looking up to meet his eyes while he spoke, "Before you were merely a means to an end but now I find you to be quite distracting as you take up a great deal of my thoughts. Even now just the scent of your skin is making me restless."
Cell lowered himself to one knee on the blanket resting his arm across it in a way that reminded you of a prince kneeling before his princess right before he confesses his love to her. This was certainly a fucked up fairy tale you'd landed yourself in.
He's so handsome it isn't fair.
You wanted to touch him, rest your fingers along his jaw, and run your thumb over his plush lower lip. Instead you bit the inside if your cheek trying to hold onto your reason left paralyzed by your indecision to fight back or give in. You didn't protest when he reached for a strand of your hair that had fallen loose from it's ponytail taking it between his fingers. Vulnerable wasn't the right word for the way Cell was behaving. Nothing about him was vulnerable from his tall muscular form to his cold eyes that would always make you feel like prey. It was the way that he was too human in his mannerisms, it felt wrong somehow, like a doppelganger mimicking unfamiliar behavior.
Cell was never gentle with you before, he didn't give a shit about your limitations, and had just openly admitted you were a means to an end, so it should have been easy to hate him. It was also easy for you to close the distance and press your lips to his just to remind yourself of what he was. The last kiss you'd shared was a vulgar imitation of his tongue violating you with no interest in your enjoyment; a mockery of your own weakness towards him.
So why then, when you timidly pressed the tip of your tongue against the unyielding seam of Cell's lips, did he allow you access as naturally as any lover you'd had before. He didn't grab you and force himself on you this time, instead, slowly deepened the kiss to the point that if you'd been standing, your knees would be weak. When you pulled away breathlessly he didn't try to stop you remaining motionless as a statue.
"Why?" you whispered.
Why won't you fuck me, use me, and leave me alone already?
"Do you still not understand?" Cell asked, "You're a match for me just as much as I am to you. That is the nature of the bond we share, girl. Whatever I am now is what you desire in a mate. My Perfect form is decided by your predispositions just as much as my lineage to ensure that my species will continue."
Your eyes widened as his words sank in.
"You want this too. There's no point in playing coy. It's obvious from your accelerated heart rate and how much you're leaking between your legs. You find me attractive, yes, but it excites you that we're alone and I could do anything I wanted to you. Whether you want me to or not."
It was appalling just how right he was.
The bond you shared with Cell was a violation that you'd never asked for, the deepest parts of yourself had been exposed, entirely without your knowledge or consent. It was worse than rape. It was unfathomable to imagine and it made you dizzy at the implications that he was practically grown for you. Because of you. This thing knew more about you than any human ever possibly could.
"Is that it then," you said, your lower lip trembling dangerously, bordering on hysterics, "I'm just some fucking alien incubator from now on? I quit my job and stay at home laying eggs for the rest of my life?"
"No. You would have a normal pregnancy for the first stage and then the child would develop a chrysalis after some time had passed. It would go through the same process as I did and not become aware unless it's genetic match were alive at the end of it's development."
That was a relief to hear when all your mind's eye could conjure up involved wriggling larvae covered in slime and it made you feel ill. Not that the idea of inflicting what you'd gone through on someone else was anymore appealing. You were responsible for furthering a race of parasites.
"What do I tell the people I work with.. oh fuck, my mom."
You could imagine the horrified expression she would give you if you turned up with a fat belly and no father in sight.
"I should also mention that the child will be quite small and would be barely noticeable if that's your concern. There could be a slight weight gain but nothing to draw attention. This wouldn't be ideal for me either. If too many people started asking questions I would be forced to act."
"Forced to..? What are you saying?"
"I would kill them, naturally."
You gasped in shock, "What the fuck."
Cell gave you the most simultaneously handsome yet evil smile, "That's enough talking. I've waited long enough to have you, y/n."
The sudden use of your actual name for the first time caught you off guard enough that cell easily had you pinned beneath him on the blanket with a single fluid movement. He was still smiling when you met his eyes nervously, "I thought you were letting me decide."
"I changed my mind."
Your complaint turned into a whine from Cell's suggestive grind against your clothed groin, the protective chitin there borderline painful, but you couldn't control your breathing after a few more movements like that against your increasingly soaked core.
"Fuck, Cell.."
"Hmm?"
You hated how composed he was. Outwardly unaffected while you were left squirming and on the verge of a heart attack.
Does he ever fucking blink?
You don't see, but rather feel it happen, when Cell opens up between your legs and something big and heavy slaps against you. The most impressively terrifying organ had revealed itself from within Cell's body and you can't stop yourself from staring. With it's many ridges and bumps it was enough to make even the most seasoned Bad Dragon employee blush.
Cell let out a low rumbling chuckle at your approval, "See? You want this too," he gripped your pants and underwear in one hand dragging them down slowly, while keeping both of your wrists pinned above your head, "Even knowing what it means for you, you're already this wet for me, wanting me to fill you with my offspring."
"No," you said, the end of the word trailing into a moan when Cell's fingers circled your clit slipping lower and collecting your wetness before bringing them up close to your face.
"What's this?" he accused, as if you were a disobedient dog that had pissed on the carpet and he'd caught you in the act. Your eyes had barely focused on the transparent strands before he shoved those fingers into your mouth. You tasted clean and salty as he rolled the digits across your tongue in an unspoken demand for you to suck. So you did, not having much choice, not stopping until there was nothing left and his fingers were thoroughly coated in your saliva.
Cell immediately slid them all the way inside your swollen folds, circling and stroking against your most sensitive spot, preparing you for his cock. Satisfied that you wouldn't try to escape he let go of your wrists and dragged up your shirt, your nipples pebbling in the chilly night air, bringing a hungry look to Cell's unrelenting gaze at the sight of your exposed breasts.
You couldn't control how your body clenched around him remembering how you'd felt during his feedings, and his motions inside you grew rougher, forcing your tightening muscles apart. You mewled and bucked your hips against his hand trying to reach your climax faster only for Cell to pull out of you altogether. You practically sobbed from being left empty when you were so close but your disappointment was short lived.
Cell took his cock in hand lining up the sharply flared head with your entrance and your legs spread apart automatically just needing him inside you.
There was no wait or letting you adjust, just every ridge and bump splitting you apart all at once with a single press of his hips, turning everything inside your head white. Your orgasm was immediate from the sheer size of him and the over-abundance of texture stimulating every inch of your walls to the point of pain. Your mouth was open but no sound came out as your body violently fluttered and tensed.
Cell didn't allow you to recover, already starting to move, and it took every ounce of your willpower just to tolerate it.
Your mind was numb to everything but the feeling of Cell's cock brutally fucking into you, thinking back to the times before they were nothing compared to this. If you could think which was proving to be impossible aside from desperate pleas for Cell to fuck you harder, more, yes, yes, yes.
"Tell me you want me to breed you," Cell's grip was on your chin forcing you to meet his intense glare.
"Yes, fuck, I'm going to come again, please. Don't stop."
"Say it," he hissed bringing his thrusts down to short unsatisfying stabs that reminded you beneath the pleasure you were actually really sore already.
"Please, Cell, come inside me. I want you t-to breed me."
You screamed when he grabbed your legs and pulled you all the way down onto his length before filling your cunt to the brim with his release. It left a milky ring tinged with pink around the base of his cock that inspired him to violently use your limp body a second time, spurred on by animalistic instincts, flooding your insides to the point of it leaking down your ass and all over the blanket.
Cell stayed inside you for several seconds trapping his come to ensure the highest chances of putting a baby in you before he pulled out, still hard, and lifted your head up by the hair. The pain was already starting to set in and it made you feel sick to your stomach from the deep rooted throbbing low in your abdomen. Cell's cock bobbed in front of your face and you didn't even think about it, just set to work licking his come, cleaning him thoroughly while barely registering the metallic under-taste.
"Open," he ordered you, aroused by the sight of your little pink tongue working so diligently, he wanted to have your mouth next.
You thought your jaw would dislocate when he forced the head past your teeth while you struggled to sheathe them behind your lips. You hated to think what might happen if you accidentally bit him but he didn't seem to care. Not when your teeth scraped him or when your throat constricted trying to force him out. He just rocked his hips continuing to open you up to him until drool was hanging in thick strands from your chin and splattering your breasts.
Each time you gagged you felt more of Cell's come being forced out from below and it made you feel dirtier. You were handling him as best you could until he pushed in harder than before blocking off your throat and your air. You began to panic finding no mercy in Cell's face when you begged him with your tear soaked eyes to let you breathe. It was then that he came again inside your throat, leaving you no choice but to swallow it all or suffocate, feeling some of it come out of your nose.
It was idiotic to think that he would be gentle with you this time as you shoved back off of his hips coughing and choking on the remnants of his come.
You shot Cell an annoyed glare made ineffective by the come dribbling out of your nose and you angrily wiped it away.
"What's with that look?" he drawled, amused, "This is what you want. Anything I do to you is entirely your fault. You're quite perverse for someone so outwardly average I have to say."
Asshole.
Why did he always have to be right?
⛧
It's been almost one year since that day in the woods and true to his word, despite being very near to giving birth, there are barely any signs that you're pregnant. You told yourself that you wouldn't become attached, this wasn't a situation of your choosing after all, you were just giving Cell what he wanted so he wouldn't eat your head or something.
You hadn't already thought of a name if it was a girl (or boy). You hadn't developed the recent habit of talking to your stomach in a ridiculous voice throughout the day when you were alone about whatever you were doing at the time. And most importantly you didn't find yourself drifting through the maternity section when you went to the market looking at baby clothes and furniture with a sickening longing.
"Do you think we should have potatoes or beets with dinner, tonight? I think both would be good, don't you?" you started to dig for the peeler in the drawer, "Dam-, I mean, dang it. Where is this thing. I swear I see it everywhere when I don't actually need it.."
"What are you doing?"
You screeched grabbing a wooden spoon and turning with it raised in front of you only to find Cell in the middle of your kitchen, arms crossed, giving you The Look. The one he always gave when he wasn't impressed with something you'd done which was pretty much most of the time. Since getting pregnant Cell had developed the annoying habit of appearing inside your house randomly.
"Jesus Chr-," you coughed, "I told you to stop doing that."
"You did," he said, not moving or caring.
It was strange to think that you were practically used to having Cell around by now, not at all unnerved with him being this close to you, as you put the spoon away and returned to preparing dinner.
"How are you feeling?" he asked eventually, "Any pain?"
"No. I'm fine just like yesterday and the day before. You know I can tell that you're close by right? I can sense your Ki or whatever you call it. If something goes wrong you'll know."
Cell hummed noncommittally, studying you without your knowing, gauging how close you were to giving birth. Judging from the activity of the baby he would assume another day at most.
"You know if you're just going to stand there the least you could do is help out," you turned finding that Cell had already disappeared leaving you to scowl at the empty space on the tile, "Of course, now, you leave."
What does he even do when he isn't here anyway.
You felt a light flutter in your lower abdomen as the baby moved inside you as if it were agreeing and you smiled fondly resting a hand over it.
After dinner you followed the usual routine, shower, brush your teeth, and then stay up for at least an hour later than you should reading a story off of your phone out loud. You could tell that it liked when you did this, it always moved alot during the interesting parts, showing that it was listening. You wondered if Cell's mother was like this and why he'd ended up in the forest on earth as you drifted off to sleep.
You awoke before the sun was up upon hearing a strange noise, flipping on the bedroom lamp expecting Cell, instead discovering a tiny creature curled into the blankets next to you.
You stared.
And stared.
Oh my God.
When it's eyelids fluttered and it looked at you for the first time with familiar pale pink eyes you knew.
"Hi," you whispered lightly touching one of it's chubby hands barely bigger than one of your fingers. It was a girl with much softer features than Cell, although she had the same chitinous body, she was mostly humanoid with a skin tone that matched your own. At the sound of your voice she gave you the most adorable smile, grasping at your fingertip, and your heart melted. Your daughter was the most beautiful thing you'd ever seen and just for those precious moments you forgot about aliens and all the weird shit you'd gone through in the past year and a half.
You only had three days as it turned out until the baby's transformation began and on the morning when you went to check on her finding that familiar purple chrysalis in her place you locked yourself in the bathroom and cried for an hour.
Through all of this Cell didn't appear until you returned to the tree in the woods with a shovel in hand starting to dig in the same spot where you'd found his own chrysalis. You tried not to cry in front of him and failed miserably while you flung dirt a little harder than necessary in his direction. He said nothing to mock you as you buried your child in the earth, cheeks wet, and heart aching as if some deep rooted part of yourself had been torn out instead.
"Three years," Cell said, as you passed him heading back to your car, wordlessly.
"What?"
"It takes three years for the first stage of development to complete. If the surrogate is here and viable you may see her again in three years."
"Really?" you sounded pitiful, broken.
Cell was gone when you turned leaving nothing but the freshly disturbed soil and the sounds of the ducks on the water behind. Truthfully, you didn't want to see his face right now, he was the one who had inflicted this pain on you. You needed something to blame for what you were feeling and he understood this too. Of course he did.
Always fucking right.
If it was three years you could wait.
You softly whispered her name and said your goodbye before getting back into your car and leaving the forest.

RAPS + CRAFTS #21: Andrew Mbaruk
1. Introduce yourself. Past projects? Current projects?
I’m Andrew Mbaruk, a Black poet living in Vancouver, Canada. I make "literary lo-fi rock rap," drawing from my diverse reading of poetry and classic literature for the "literary" aspect; – it’s "lo-fi" due to the imperfect sound quality, "rock" as the music predominantly features electric guitars, and "rap" because, if I had to use just one genre to categorize it, it’d be rap–I’m obviously rapping in the songs.
On one of my songs I describe my style as “assistant-professorial and janitorial”--it’s a blend of literary, academic, and philosophical elements with a touch of real-life experiences, viewed through my postmodern/modernist collage aesthetic.
Some of my recent albums are Why I Am Not a Painter (a 2023 song anthology), Black Squirrel: A Memoir (an autobiographical album through Extraordinary Rap), and Oiseau=textual: the flying rap album (centered around birds). Collaborations include Affect Theory and the Text-to-Speech Grandiloquence with Rhys Langston, Papier-Mache Chalet with Th’ Mole, Ultraviolet Flamingo with Vellum Bristol or Jouquin Fox, and Hip-Hop, With a Twist of Lemon with Mantis the Miasma.
Currently, I’m working on a series of lo-fi rock rap albums, each titled Abolish Canada. Abolish Canada [1] and Abolish Canada [2] are already available on my Bandcamp page.
2. Where do you write? Do you have a routine time you write? Do you discipline yourself, or just let the words come when they will? Do you typically write on a daily basis?
I write whenever I’m awake and in the mood, which is often at home. This could be in the middle of the night or just as frequently in the afternoon. Currently, I find myself in the writing room...surrounded by books... On my desk are three old dictionaries and a book of selected poems by Wallace Stevens, alongside an energy drink can and crumpled papers... Scattered throughout the room are various poetry books, and books on theory and philosophy, from Marx and Hegel to Frank B. Wilderson III and David Marriott... These books are mostly on a couch doubling as a larger desk, and atop an old synthesizer from the 1980s... On the floor stand an electric guitar and amp, alongside pedals and tangled cords at my feet... Two walls are giant windows, one of which is usually open even in winter (I’m often smoking). I’m undisciplined, though I still write almost daily – though there’s the occasional lapse, like these past few days...
3. What’s your medium—pen and paper, laptop, on your phone? Or do you compose a verse in your head and keep it there until it’s time to record?
During 2017-2018, I primarily used pen and paper for my writing. But, since then, I’ve transitioned to typing most of my raps on a computer. Occasionally I’ll compose a verse while walking, relying on my Android. The inconvenience of keeping verses in my head until I can write them down...that’s a problem I face during work shifts – cleaning Vancouver’s streets, e.g....and one song I crafted mentally while washing dishes at a burger bar. Using a recording medium like paper or a word processor is best though – it allows me to carefully consider connections between different parts of a verse, because I have the entire composition visible on a page or on a screen.
4. Do you write in bars, or is it more disorganized than that?
I used to have a more disorganized writing style, especially in the first few years of this rapping project... Initially, I didn't even see my work as a part of rap. It was only when I started collaborating with other rappers and producers that I began to structure my writing in bars.
While there are still moments when I write in a more formless manner, I stick to a more regular form these days, lines that last four beats. Typically, I'll create four lines that rhyme (using slant rhymes) entirely parallel to each other:
(e.g., “abnegating dactylic hexameter his vacation, a trip with dead passengers the Latin pages of literate Sapphic verse as the painting's acrylic red flags ablur”),
followed by another set of four, or maybe a couplet or two
(in this case, “as heroin mixed with the China White terror, his literary dynamite exposing the Pindaric champion; explosions, the thin shards of glass in him”),
and then another quatrain or couplet, or sometimes a set of six or eight rhyming lines, or sometimes more...and so on.
I never thought I'd become so formal or strict in my approach. I've always been inclined towards poetry that adheres to (for example) Charles Olson’s "projective verse", but surprisingly, weirdly, this structured approach is working for me now.
5. How long into writing a verse or a song do you know it’s not working out the way you had in mind? Do you trash the material forever, or do you keep the discarded material to be reworked later?
It’s different with every verse and song. Sometimes I’ll finish the entire thing and throw it out/delete it. Usually some part of the aborted material returns in a new form. I work in a "collage" style and see my rhymes as Deleuzian rhizomes, so I can easily connect my rhymes like Lego... It’s totally acceptable within my project to incorporate disparate fragments – unless the lyrics are focused by a constraint, as on my album about birds (Oiseau=textual: the flying rap album) or the one about the Iran-Contra scandal (The Iran-Contra Project).
6. Have you engaged with any other type of writing, whether presently or in the past? Fiction? Poetry? Playwriting? If so, how has that mode influenced your songwriting?
I’ve written poetry, fiction, a screenplay... The rapping basically grew out of my experiments with print poetry – I started making poems called "phonotexts," recorded poems, in 2014... I made a spoken word album called Phono=textual: a novel in mono... It took about three years for these "phonotexts" to become rap songs.
7. How much editing do you do after initially writing a verse/song? Do you labor over verses, working on them over a long period of time, or do you start and finish a piece in a quick burst?
I try to edit as I write, then I'll record the thing, sometimes using some instrumental that I'm not actually going to use – just to hear it, so I can edit it some more. Then I record the song immediately. It usually takes a few hours or an evening.
Sometimes I work on a song for a few days.
8. Do you write to a beat, or do you adjust and tweak lyrics to fit a beat?
I begin with the words and a rhythm usually... I write lyrics, then I make the drums, then I record the verse or verses, then finally I'll add guitars and synthesizer and whatnot.
9. What dictates the direction of your lyrics? Are you led by an idea or topic you have in mind beforehand? Is it stream-of-consciousness? Is what you come up with determined by the constraint of the rhymes?
I usually begin with one small idea, just a line or a few words, and I grow a verse or verses from the one idea through free association, playing with meaning and rhyme. I’m often propelled by chance, but just as often propelled by a thematic goal, and this can change midway through writing.
10. Do you like to experiment with different forms and rhyme schemes, or do you keep your bars free and flexible?
I’ve sneaked sonnets into my raps, and I’ve invented something called “rhyme chiasmus” (a rhyme scheme where two rhyming sounds are repeated in a chiastic pattern for many bars) but I’m usually freer.
11. What’s a verse you’re particularly proud of, one where you met the vision for what you desire to do with your lyrics?
The song "Electrons," track 01 of Abolish Canada [1]...though it goes on a bit too long I think, the bit right at the beginning is very good maybe. That song, and in fact the entirety of Abolish Canada [1]... That’s where I’ve most closely achieved much of what I intend with my words.
12. Can you pick a favorite bar of yours and describe the genesis of it?
My lines make their meaning through the relation to other lines. So, my favourite passage in my writing – "the human soul stuck in your body / fluent in post-structural ornithology” – is shaped by what surrounds it.
The song is called "Under the Oiseau=text." It’s about reading and about birds. And about reading birds as signs, an ancient practice.
I thought of these words because a bird, a pigeon, rose flapping before me as I walked along Commercial Drive in Vancouver. I decided to make an album about birds in that moment, and began writing "Under the Oiseau=text" as soon as I got home. Here’s the lyric in its context:
sans serif, these words upon my gravestone bearing the withered flower tossed - the Baudelairean inner albatross, the human soul stuck in your body fluent in post-structural ornithology . . . . . .his words draw you a map of the geographer perched upon a branch in the binoculars, this scholar of math as it pertains to flight, the neurographer mapping the brain with light
13. Do you feel strongly one way or another about punch-ins? Will you whittle a bar down in order to account for breath control, or are you comfortable punching-in so you don’t have to sacrifice any words?
I shorten lines and always try to do verses in a single take.
14. What non-hiphop material do you turn to for inspiration? What non-music has influenced your work recently?
Afropessimism, John Ashbery’s poetry, nature, the congressional report on the Iran-Contra scandal, and the letter N. Also, I collect and read dictionaries.
15. Writers are often saddled with self-doubt. Do you struggle to like your own shit, or does it all sound dope to you?
Some of my stuff I dig especially, other stuff I’m okay with, most of the stuff I don’t like no one can hear anywhere. Grand Lunatic I’m not crazy about, Andra Mbalimbali I’m not crazy about, Neuro=textual: a novel of ideas is not my favourite of my albums. From late in 2022 and throughout 2023, that stuff I like – though I’m on the fence about some projects like Black Squirrel and The Iran-Contra Project. The earlier stuff evinces potential realized by Oiseau=textual: the flying rap album and Abolish Canada [1]... That’s how I see things.
16. Who’s a rapper you listen to with such a distinguishable style that you need to resist the urge to imitate them?
Rappers who depend less on rhyme and just say really interesting shit, like AKAI SOLO or my friend Jouquin Fox, I can’t do that. I tried using a little less rhyme on The Iran-Contra Project, my concept album about Iran-Contra, and I’m sure I can’t do that. The constraint of rhyme is essential to my style.
17. Do you have an agenda as an artist? Are there overarching concerns you want to communicate to the listener?
Yes, I am trying to communicate many things to the listener. I am saying nothing specifically, and consequently saying many different things. (Any one of these different things I could write about at length, but it has been recommended to me that I just leave it at “I am saying nothing specifically, and consequently saying many different things” – nice and succinct.)
RAPS + CRAFTS is a series of questions posed to rappers about their craft and process. It is designed to give respect and credit to their engagement with the art of songwriting. The format is inspired, in part, by Rob McLennan’s 12 or 20 interview series.

Jump Leads launches at 8am pacific tomorrow!
The series is six episodes of science-fiction comedy. It's Doctor Who meets Red Dwarf by way of Sliders, and I am insanely proud of it.
Jump Leads follows two trainees in the Lead Service - a sort-of self-appointed reality police - as they travel to parallel universes on their earliest field training exercises. Chaperoned by the eccentric but charming Captain Lucas, they soon learn that there's more to travelling to parallel worlds than their training textbooks might have covered.
The show features an amazing cast, including Austin Lee Matthews (Final Fantasy VII Remake, Pokémon Revolution, Megaton Girl) and Dino Andrade (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Bidoof's Big Stand) as well as guest appearances from Connor Andrade (We Baby Bears, Shenmue III, Spider-Man), Lemar Harris (who recently appeared as the DM in Rhett & Link's "We Hired an Exorcist to Play D&D!"), and Will Overgard (Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed).
It also features:
Six (mostly) standalone stories, one of which is entirely about character development take that prestige television!
Two diametrically-opposed characters stuck together through circumstance!
Queer lead characters!
At least two different types of robot!
Two mid-credits scenes that are just for jokes and don't serve to set up spin-offs of some kind!
Theme music by Professor Shyguy!
A subtle, hidden reference to the seminal 1991 cinematic platform action-adventure game Another World!
Captioned versions on YouTube!
I've said this a billion times, but I am so, so proud of how this show came out and I really, really hope you listen to and enjoy it a lot. You can find the show in your podcasting app, or by selecting one of these handy-dandy links:

Animation Night 159: Armitage III
Good evening animation devotees! It is once again Sunday, the day of animation.
Apologies for the late start this evening. It’s been tricky to run everything while I’m in Glasgow, but on the other hand, tonight’s subject comes at the suggestion of my wonderful host. Since it’s so late, no lengthy intro today... by my standards, anyway x3
So, 1995 was a big year in anime. Ghost in the Shell happened. The story behind it is fascinating and I barely told any of it back on AN39. Production I.G. had recently come into existence, the synthesis of anime studio I.G. Tatsunoko and the Headgear collective, which had come together on the Patlabor movies. It managed to bring all its elements together to create a really novel synthesis of all its elements: deeply atmospheric, exceptionally animated, and with enough of the crazy autistic passion of Shirow’s manga shining through to give it a dimension missing in the drier Patlabor movies that came before. It became a reference point for just about anything even vaguely in the vicinity of cyberpunk to come...
And Evangelion happened. The impact of Anno’s unification of psychological drama, body horror, conspiracies and robots is maybe even greater. Even beyond its direct aesthetic influences, or inspiring the word moe, its sekaikei plot became a template for anime stories in all sots of genres. I wrote a bunch about Eva back on AN18, but of course there is so much more to dive into.
Tonight our subject is another cyberpunk robot story from 1995, a project of AIC - veterans of the world of OVAs. They’re behind the invention of hentai anime with Cream Lemon in 1984 (AN69), they made the iconic 80s robot ova Bubblegum Crisis, and at the start of the 1990s, they were the place where The Hakkenden experimented with the devices that would become the core of 90s animation (AN 122).
Armitage III is another cyberpunk robot-focused anime - but when we say cyberpunk it’s in the literary sense too, with overt allusion to Neuromancer. And also Lovecraft. It’s a Pinocchio-type story about the line between robots and humans, set on a Mars colony which has recently discovered the existence of ‘third type’ robots which are superficially identical to humans and gone a bit nuts about it. ‘Armitage’ refers to protagonist Naomi Armitage, one of a duo of cops who are trying to contain the chaos - but Naomi is herself one of these third type androids. There’s some rather wacky gender shit with Earth having a ‘feminist’ society motivating more men emigrate to Mars, and also robot pregnancy which is a subject rarely touched on in these sexy robot stories.
But also it’s mostly a chance to bask in that 90s anime aesthetic. Like its contemporaries, expect something dark and moody and full of fascinating designs and intricate mechanical animations. Character designs are detailed and volumetric, but there’s also an element of the spiky stylisation of e.g. Gunnm, especially as our protagonist starts to take on some upgrades.
Rather than write more, I think I’d best just hurry up and get the ball rolling while it’s still technically Sunday.
Tonight the plan is to show the four episodes of the OVA. They got compiled into a movie (Poly-Matrix) but I hear it is overly compressed and hard to follow. There’s a sequel, Dual-Matrix, but I generally hear it’s not great and since it’s so late, I’m just gonna watch the original OVA.
We’ll be going live in just a minute at twitch.tv/canmom. I’d love to see you there!!

Final Fantasy (2006)ファイナルファンタジー
Date: December 18, 1987 Platform: Game Boy Advance / MSX / PlayStation Portable / Nintendo Entertainment System / PlayStation / WonderSwan Color / Wii Shop / PC / iPhone / PlayStation Network (PSP) / iPad / Android / Windows Phone / Nintendo 3DS eShop / PlayStation Network (Vita) Developer: Square Enix / Squaresoft / TOSE Co., Ltd. Publisher: Square Enix / Squaresoft / Nintendo / Micro Cabin Co. Genre: Role-Playing Theme: Fantasy / Medieval Franchises: Final Fantasy Also known as: FF1: Final Fantasy I / Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood / Mobius Final Fantasy / Final Fantasy XIV Online / Final Fantasy XII Type: Crossover
Summary:
Final Fantasy is Square Enix's longest running and most popular role-playing franchise. First premiering on December 18, 1987 with the original Final Fantasy, it has only increased in popularity over the last 35 years. Inspired by Enix's Dragon Warrior, he took the last of Square's money and developed the game. It sold 400,000 units, kicking off what has become one of the best-selling video game franchises in history. This series has had several spin-offs, some of which are Final Fantasy Adventure (which went on to become the Mana series), Final Fantasy Tactics, a series of turn-based strategy RPGs, and even several games starring the Final Fantasy mascot, the cute, ostrich-like chocobo. Additionally, the first few games of Squaresoft's SaGa series were given "Final Fantasy Legend" titles when they were released in North America because of Final Fantasy's recognizable name.A Chocobo
Since its inception, the series has branched out into portable games, action spin-offs, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game, and even games for mobile phones. Originally, each new Final Fantasy game introduced to players an entirely new world, storyline, and set of characters. However, since Final Fantasy II the games have each shared a number of motifs that fans have come to look for. For instance, there has always been a character named Cid, who is usually connected to flight, whether as a pilot or engineer (though he has also been known as a political figure from time to time). Chocobos appear frequently in most Final Fantasy stories, and are usually used as mounts for the player. The teddy bear-like Moogle is also very common to Final Fantasy games. Cactuars often appear as enemies in Final Fantasy games, but have been known to show up in doll-like form.Final Fantasy IV The Complete Collection
Final Fantasy IV was the second game to be released outside of Japan and introduced many key elements that would stick with the future titles of the series: Save Points, Active Time Battle System, theatrical cutscenes, character leitmotifs, etc. This game was known as Final Fantasy II in North America and the forthcoming Final Fantasy VI was renamed to Final Fantasy III in North America. It wasn't until Final Fantasy VII that the series retro-actively changed it's chronological naming for the North American releases.
More recently, Square Enix has begun to extend the most popular Final Fantasy games beyond their initial release. Characters from numerous Final Fantasy games have made appearances in games like Kingdom Hearts, Ehrgeiz, and Dissidia. Several specific main series games have also received direct sequels or spin-offs which often occupy different genres. Final Fantasy X saw a sequel, the appropriately titled Final Fantasy X-2, which directly continued and concluded the original game's storyline.
The wildly popular Final Fantasy VII has seen numerous related releases, including the PSP action RPG Crisis Core, the PlayStation 2 third-person action game Dirge of Cerberus, a mobile game released only in Japan called Before Crisis, and in 2020, after much clamoring for it from fans, Final Fantasy VII Remake was released for PlayStation 4.
In a similar vein, Final Fantasy XIII had a trilogy of games released within the same world, include Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Mirror Maze
Although there were no immediate sparks between Dikottir and me, we continued to chat on Hinge. Unlike many of the other men I chatted to, Dikttori wasn't very consistent in his messages over Hinge. Occasionally, a day or two would pass before I'd receive a response from him. Supposedly it was because he'd draft a response and forget to send it through or Hinge would glitch on his android phone.
Whatever the reason, he wasn't consistently spamming me with messages, which was a nice change of pace because I'm often playing video games or writing up blog posts or editing my stories, and leaving my phone far away from me. Something that most would regard as abnormal for a Millennial, but the only time I take my phone is when I'm dying of boredom and don't have a convenient book lying around. In fact, my mother uses her phone far more than I do and you can see it in the battery health.
Still, I thought it best to get to know Dikottir a little better. After all, I'm a slow burn type of person. It's only when I've become friends with someone and known them for a quite a while before I start to properly open up.
While they say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, I find the opposite holds true when you're first trying to get to know someone. Shocking, I know, coming from an introvert who never seems to leave the sanctity of the house.
So, when the the PowerHouse Museum featured the Kaleidoscope exhibit, I asked Dikottir if he was interested. This was, after all, the man who had suggested checking out Oh! Bento and who had earlier gone twice to an Air Crash/ Seance exhibition at the PowerHouse.
Thankfully, Dikottir hadn't been to Kaleidoscope just yet and was open to checking it out. After arranging a date amenable to the two of us, we bought our tickets online separately.
I arrived early to the date, mostly because I needed to roam around the city a little in order to buy a Father's Day gift for my stepfather. Kyndaris, I hear you international readers ask, wasn't Father's Day in June? Well, no. In Australia, it's celebrated on the first weekend of September. Which was when Dikottir and I went on our date to the Kaleidoscope.
Given the fact that my stepfather and I weren't on talking terms, I wasn't certain how much effort I ought to put into present buying. But I knew I wanted to do something better than buying him a pair of underwear like my mother. After all, I'm a pretty observant individual (at least I like to think so) and knew he had an interest in taking photos. Whether the photos he took were good or not, I couldn't say. It's not like he showed me.
And it was the easiest of his hobbies to buy for as his ones included playing sport, reading online stories or playing mahjong on his phone.
By the time I rocked up to Kaleidoscope, I'd purchased a cleaning kit and a strap for my stepfather.
Along the way, I stopped by Anime Kaika. From the name alone, it should come as no surprise that the store is where people can anime merchandise. Inside, three Nenderoids caught my eye: Kingdom Hearts III Riku, Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth.
While I was tempted to buy at least one of them, in order to add to my collection of figurines (which, albeit isn't very extensive), I withheld on the purchase. After all, I am a woman with a mortgage and limited funds. I am, as well, a responsible adult who spends her money on normal adult things. Like groceries, books, video games, books, work clothes, books, video games and other necessary items.
Anyways, after a quick jaunt through the city, I arrived outside the Kaleidoscope exhibit near the PowerHouse museum. It wasn't long before Dikttori joined me and the two of us entered the mirror maze. Almost immediately, I discovered a trick to help differentiate the critical path and what were a series of reflections: staring at the ground and seeing where the bottom of the mirror was. Dikottir, impressed by my talents, informed me I'd no doubt be an excellent competitor of the hit Netflix show Squid Game or its final survivor.
Something I very much doubted because some of the games played were pure luck rather than skill. And I'd no doubt die in some gruesome manner one way or the other.
Not to mention the fact that I'd probably also be one of the first to turn into a zombie if the world descended into a zombie apocalypse.
After a good thirty minutes where Dikottir and I were thoroughly turned around, we managed to escape Kaleidoscope, taking photos of what it looked like in the daytime and the impressive evening light show.
From Kaleidoscope, we hoofed it to World Square where we enjoyed some Ippudo ramen (it was a cold September night) and chatted about the upcoming Voice referendum (which by the time this post goes up will have ended) and other social causes that we believed strongly in. After filling our stomachs with ramen, Dikottir tried to locate a Thai dessert place. But unlike most men I knew, he was surprisingly terrible at directions, and I had to step in to slowly guide him to Mango Coco.
Unfortunately, the line there was huge so we abandoned our initial plans of dessert and headed for a bubble tea place on George Street instead. As we walked, we talked about work and our lives, before we stopped by a busker playing anime, game and classical music on his portable keyboard.
Just like that, the night was over.
Did I think Dikottir and I were a good match?
Well, he certainly had a decent job and we shared similar sentiments when it came to politics (which, honestly, probably isn't something that should be raised during dates but there it is), but I can't say if I felt anything for him beyond the fact he seemed a decent and affable man. Dikottir was certainly more educated than many of the others I'd met and seemed wiser than his thirty odd years.
It begs the question why a man like him hadn't settled down earlier with a nice girl.
But it also makes me wonder if I am aromantic as well as asexual. Or if perhaps my romantic interests lie elsewhere. Dating women, however, is a difficult endeavour and I'm not sure if I'll ever find the right person for me to prove or disprove my suspicions.
I know, of course, that I can obsess over people and feel deep platonic care and worry for my friends...but where does one draw the line between friendship and romance? It's a question I'm still trying to figure out. Which is difficult for me as I always feel like I'm a step behind.
Still, that hasn't stopped me from shipping Maddox and Ashlyn from High School Musical the Musical the Series. I'm not sure why I started watching the show but it tickles a part of my brain. It's almost like a guilty pleasure.
And I've had many over the years.
After all, why DID I watch all the seasons of Pretty Little Liars and even Ravenswood spin-off? I watched all the seasons of Once upon a Time, too! And Glee!
Gah, why am I exposing myself like this? Forget those last few paragraphs! Strike it from your memory!
The point of this post, and my dating adventures, is that finding love is hard. And while I wish I could know deep in my bones if I like-like someone, I'm the type that will somehow convince myself it was all in my head and switch such feelings off.
Or, perhaps, by the time the year is done, I'll have fallen head over heels in love with someone and be singing a different tune.

We will relieve you of the stresses we know you are going through and ensure that you experience a perfect work mobile that is more stable and reliable. Well, there is no need to make any more introductions and move further by beginning the talk about common crashes and freezes of your Android Apps.
What causes App crashes and freezing?
Application crashes or freezes on the operation of an application are issues that can cause a significant deterioration in the user experience and a problem we all face every day as we use an application on an Android-based device. This problem results from various sources from enlightening the multi-centric character of mobile environments. These sources include, - Software Bugs: Bugs in codes are one of the leading reasons for apps freezing and crashing. The bugs can lead to issues that can spread across areas like the architecture of an app, memory leaks, unhandled exception errors, and other complex errors like android app development . So, let us look at: (i). Memory leaks: This is the first type of memory corruption preventing an app from deallocating the reserved memory while allocating memory. It builds up the consumption of all the available memory, making the app slow or may even not work or crash. (ii). Unhandled Exceptions: These are neither intentional nor expected anomalies in a program. These cases are not taken care of, thus leading to some circumstances where the app malfunctions or gets hanged. For example, a Null Pointer Exception is thrown by the JVM when the application attempts to refer to an object reference that does not point to any object. (iii). Logical Errors: Software bugs in the application's logic cause logical errors leading to incorrect operations. They come from assumptions by the developers, under estimations, or control flow errors. (iv). Resource Management: Incompetent use of resources like file handles, networks or database connections may result in crashes. For instance, if an app fails to close connections to a database when it is no longer in use, it may exhaust the resources of the database, using up all available connections. - Software version Incompatibility: As the Android Operating System comes with updates now and then, some apps that are not frequently updated may run with incompatibility issues, which lead to a situation crash. A similar crashing error occurs when you use newer app versions on an older Android Operating System. The changes from updates causing incompatibility issues include; (i). API Changes: As you update your Android version, it is possible that the older API version of your app cannot run on the newer Android version. This results in the crashing or freezing of your app once you invoke these APIs. (ii). Permissions Model: Android version 6 and above protects users with changes to the permissions model. Some improper handling of runtime permission may cause the apps to crash if they try to access specific resources. (iii). UI Changes: Changes in the Android UI components and layouts may affect the application presentation of content for different apps. Failure to account for such changes can result in an app not functioning as intended. It can cause an incorrect loading of the application layout, causing the UI to freeze or crash. (iv). Hardware-Specific Changes: This is another potential way in which Android OS upgrades may impact performance through hardware-specific improvements that aim to improve performance for faster or newer hardware. Identified applications that do not suit these changes might not run efficiently or even crash on new devices released into the market. (v). Security Enhancements: New security model changes in Android upgrades can impact application compatibility. For instance, stricter security policies might constitute an app's inability to accomplish specific actions, which in turn cause crashes in case the app does not expect such scenarios. - Hardware Limitations: The hardware constraints result in applications freezing and crashing on Android devices more often than other devices on Windows or IOS software. These limitations can result from several factors, including, (i). Insufficient Random Access Memory: For your device to support the smooth running of various applications, it needs an adequate amount of RAM. When you launch an application, it allocates data and processes into your RAM. When the launched app needs to run for a while and, in the process, it lacks sufficient RAM, the chances of it crashing are high. RAM inefficiency often occurs when you install memory-demanding applications such as games or entire suites of office tools. (ii). Limited Processing Power: The processing power of your Android device originates from the Central Processing Unit. This part is essential since it deals with the executing instructions given by the respective mobile apps. Older and weaker devices with poor processors may not cope with the intensive work of the current mobile applications that require high computing power. If your device is under so many processes, it reduces the processing power, making some apps crash or freeze. It happens because the whole system cannot process the crashing app workload. (iii). Insufficient Storage Space: When you install an application, it requires enough storage allocation depending on its size. Apart from the installation space, it requires more storage for creating or managing temporary files. If you have limited internal memory on your device, the system might not have enough space to save these temporary files, and as a result, the application could crash or freeze. Moreover, insufficient internal memory can negatively affect the ability of your device to swap memory. This ability occurs when your device uses its internal memory to extend RAM capabilities. (iv). Outdated Hardware: When an app updates, it adds new features and functions. If by any chance you install them on outdated hardware, these features and functions might not be compatible with it. In the process, the apps could crash or freeze. - Malware Infection: In simple terms, malware is preventable malicious software developed to corrupt or even destroy computer systems. A regular application freezing or crashing of an application is one of the most likely signs that your device contains malware. So, how does malware affect the performance of your applications? These infections can cause applications to freeze or crash through several disruptive mechanisms, which are, (i). Resource Exhaustion: Malware hogs the system resources like CPU, memory, or disk space, thus reducing the resources available to the applications that make the systems unresponsive or misbehave. (ii). File and Data Corruption: Crashing of applications can involve damaging or removing critical files or data within an app. Without these essential files, apps on your device can freeze or crash. (iii). Interference with System Processes: Malware hinders the working operations of essential system processes or services, leading to instability in the applications that depend on such processes. (iv). Code Injection: Attackers inject viruses into functioning applications where the applications run codes they are never intended to run, thus causing the application instabilities and crashes.
How can you Solve App Crashing and Freezing on Android Devices
Solving app crashing and freezing does not need any technical expertise but following simple instructions. Here are simple guidelines to sort this issue out. You can,- Restart the Device: A familiar approach is to restart the device. It can help remove software bugs that could be forcing your app to behave abnormally. There are many ways you can restart an Android device. Here is how, - Update the App: Check if the app is running the latest version. The developers often send new updates to address errors and ensure compatibility with the latest versions of Android. You can update your app via the several methods available on your device. They are, (i). Google Play Store: One of the simplest methods many users know when updating Apps is through the Google Play Store. You can do this through the 'My apps & games' option and update the selected app through a button next to it. Moreover, you can opt for Settings to turn on the auto-update feature for all or individual apps. (ii). In-App Updates: Some apps have an in-app update feature that allows them to update. When a newer version is available for download, the feature activates, and then after, your app automatically updates. (iii). APK Files: You can independently install an app without necessarily through the Google Play Store. To set up this method, you need to allow 'Unknown sources' or 'Install unknown apps' on the device management menu so that you can install it from any source other than the Google Play Store.
- Clear App Data and Cache: Clearing the cache of your crashing application may be handy in case of temporary file corruption. If this does not solve your problem, then the Clear Data option will restore the app to its original state, and this may go a long way in solving issues which are hard to detect. To clear App Data and Cache, you can follow these steps. (i). Locate the app you want to clear the cache. (ii). Press and hold your app until the 'App Info' option appears. (ii). Tap on it to direct you to the app information panel and click on storage. To clear the app Cache, tap on clear cache, though it does not delete your app personal info or settings. To clear App data, click on clear storage. It will delete all information in the app, including your info and settings.
- Reinstall the App: Uninstalling and installing your crashing app may solve this issue if the program is improperly installed or has corrupt files. You can do this through your device app and the Google Play Store. - Free Up Storage Space: Storage capability may be an issue that makes an app crash. You should often delete unnecessary and unused applications to create more space. You should have more than 600MB of free space in your device to reduce the occurrence of this error. The Android Operating system will use this free space to run background processes of your applications, thus reducing the chances of freezing and crashing. - Check for Conflicting Apps: If you have any third-party application running on your device, it could be the source of your problem. This kind of apps can cause other apps to malfunction. To identify a third-party app on your device, boot it on safe mode. If the crashing app runs well in safe mode, consider deleting the recently installed apps. - Factory Reset: If the problem persists, this should be your final option. It is because factory resetting your Android device will erase all your phone data. Before performing this function, ensure you back up the data you need.
