Dikkie and Malleus have a very close relationship ( both are dragons, you know ).

Helga occasionally jokes that, given the complex magic and everything else that was needed for Dikkie to be born, she shared the process with Malleus somewhere in the ratio of 60:40, so they can definitely both be called equal parents.

Considering everyday fails, such as 'being graceful as potato' and spontaneous nervous allergy to himself - the support of a dragon father is very, very important for the little and timid Dikkie.

When he was very little, he had a tendency to hide behind his dad at the first hints of serious conversations from his mother (even if it was in no way connected with his clumsiness and she didn't plan to scold him).
