thanks for tagging me @dasloddl @pantaloonwarrior <3
1. When/how did you discover them? + What was the first song you listened to?
oh i think the first i saw them was iconic Pete Wentz Gay Orgy video and i was like hm the fuck. in 2015, i had a mutual who liked them, and i listened to friend please and house of gold. THEN in december 2015 i watched all the vids and started to actually LISTEN TO THEM (it was nothing like what i usually listened to) and boom in 2016 i started writing joshler fanfiction
2. Have you been to any concert(s)?
yes, in 2016 and 2019
3. Do you remember where you were when Trench dropped (if you were a fan by then)?
i was at my lowest mentally, listened to leaked album and it did indeed save me (tyler may be MAD about the whole leak thing but. i know he understands that the album found its way to help some people (me) even though it was illegal. if it worked, it worked man)
4. Favourite thing about the clique?
i love that we all know each other (tumblr clique of course), that we've been here for a long time, we have amazing artists and specific circle of fic writers (some of the joshler fics are THE BEST fics i've ever read)
5. Any memorable/funny/interesting quote (from interviews/bts footage/…) you especially like?
there's so many!!
power to the local dreamer, i'm at 1%, 'we should have kids' - 'yeah let's get some', tyler being clique mom, josh and his Interesting facts, the outside backstage kEEP YOUR SHIRT ON, and gay moments of course
6. What would you want to ask/tell them if you got the chance?
i'd ask them if they want to share some TRIVIA about their music. like, people usually ask what THEY want to know, and i'd ask if there's something mr pilots themselves want to talk about :D
7. Which tattoo would you like to know the meaning of (if you do)?
josh's 27 tattoo!!
UPD: i just realized there were additional questions for me!!
additional question you want to ask the people you tagged which album cover do you like best?
blurryface is all the way classic, methinks
Additional question you want to ask the people you tagged: I’d love to hear about some memorable moment you had because of this band, it can be anything, whatever you’re comfortable sharing <3
me and you @pantaloonwarrior becoming friends <3 my shows, yellow tape, a jar of confetti near my bed!!
+1 question for @rocket-angel (no pressure) <3
if you could only take 3 things to trench with you, what would they be?
Twenty Øne Piløts Pløt Fall 2019 Dates of “Banditø Tour”; Cøming to Dickies Arena in Ført Wørth on Nøvember 8th
Twenty One Pilots have announced a new U.S. leg of their global headline “Banditø Tour” due to overwhelming demand. The new Live Nation-produced tour dates, which follow this summer’s sold-out arena run, are set to kickoff October 9th at Tampa, FL’s Amalie Arena and will continue through a performance at Tulsa, OK’s BOK Center on November 9th. To ensure tickets get in to the hands of fans and not scalpers or bots, the tour has partnered with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform. Fans can register now through July 14th at 10:00PM PT. Registered fans who receive a code will have access to purchase tickets before the general public starting on July 16th at 10:00AM local time through July 18th at 10:00PM local time. All remaining tickets for the new U.S. dates will be released to the public at 10:00AM local time on Friday, July 19th.
Furthermore, Twenty One Pilots have shared “Cut My Lip (40.6782°N, 73.9442° W),” the second stripped back performance from the band’s new “Løcatiøn Sessiøns.” Recorded by Tyler Joseph, “Cut My Lip (40.6782°N, 73.9442° W)” follows the series’ debut session “Chlorine (19.4326° N, 99.1332° W),” and is accompanied by an official visualizer streaming now on the band’s official YouTube channel.
“Chlorine” is featured on Twenty One Pilots’ acclaimed LP TRENCH, which made a stunning global impact upon release this past October. The RIAA gold certified collection earned the GRAMMY® Award winning duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun their biggest sales week ever in the U.S., with 175,000 units sold in its first week. An extraordinary achievement for the Columbus, OH band who moved 135,000 copies of TRENCH in pure album sales without the aid of a ticket / album bundle for their worldwide headline “Banditø Tour.” TRENCH — with over 52 Million on-demand audio streams its first week — also marked the largest streaming week (debut or otherwise) in the U.S. for a rock album. A true global phenomenon amassing 110 Million streams worldwide in its first week, TRENCH earned Twenty One Pilots Top 5 chart debuts around the globe including the U.S., U.K., Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Scotland, and Sweden, with #1 debuts in Australia, New Zealand, and The Netherlands.
Twenty One Pilots’ TRENCH follows the Twenty One Pilots’ global breakout BLURRYFACE, which made a stunning chart debut upon its initial release, entering the SoundScan/Billboard 200 at #1. The album also achieved a milestone unrivaled in the digital era, becoming the first album in which every individual song on the album certified Gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

by the abandoned sea
Maybe tonight it would be easier to put old hands around a hologram, who knows? Tyler stood on the shore, a ghost beside alien, with skin made of salt; spoke long forgotten words with the voice of the sea.
On this planet, nobody remembered this language anymore.
Humanity abandoned their cradle, in scorching glory stepped right into the grave. He was just a human, but so he predicted.
Overnight, the revelation fell like rain onto the starved earth.
When they became dust, when the fallout wrapped them in shrouds, Josh was crying, knelt, he was begging. Maybe, something above spaceships and alien calls was talking to him instead.
Please, go with me. This world is dead. But you will stay alive-
Tyler stood on the street, surrounded by bones. People made of cataracts and wind; he had skin as white as the salt, sung about hope and tomorrow with the voice of the dried sea. Chapped lips were not moving: he was watching the radiation put its opalescent hands around his throat.
They need to remember, Josh. Where can I go when they don’t have anything?
A holographic smile painted over the sunrise. Projector planted in the sand. Irrational belief in grieving, but perhaps something will grow out of it.
I know, you want to leave. What can I take with me when you do?
He was in rags. Dirt like threads, blood like razor sharp cutting threads, all over. Reflection of the sun on his retinas made it red. He was going blind.
All of the fear did nothing to pierce Josh’s alien skin.
Turning to the ship, he prayed that Tyler could not already see him. He made his choice, to stay with his kind.
Maybe, tonight the recording repeating again and again could finally be forgotten, who knows?
Kinda scared for 2019 because theres gonna be a bunch of emos sitting in their rooms with brightly dyed hair and nerf guns eating refried beans out of a can while checking there phones every 5 seconds for a mcr reunion thats not gonna happen
No matter how good or bad your year was, there’s sure to be at least one memory that stands out as a positive moment. It can be a time of self-reflection; it can be time spent with friends or family. It doesn’t matter, so long as it gave you something to smile about, a reason to keep going when things got difficult. Since it’s the last day of both the year and the decade, let’s ask each other this question. (Who knows, maybe it’ll get someone out of a dark place.)Tag as many people as you want.
For me, I would have to say some highlights of 2019 were...
Getting accepted into the college I wanted
Walking on stage to get my high school diploma
My first birthday as a college student (I had my first cookie cake while watching Into the Spiderverse for the first time. One of my best birthdays ever!)
Meeting my first college friend
Discovering that I’m Asexual
Going to a Twenty One Pilots concert with my sister (her reaction was priceless! She legit thought the clique was a cult! 😂)
