So episode 5 right? We got to see Hepaestus which omg he looks sssooo cool & hear the words seaweed brain for the first time (I screamed & ran around)
BUT ALSO WHAT GROVER SAID
First off he takes what Ares says about satyrs in stride & absolutely backhands him
I mean he calls nature brutal & as a child of nature respects Ares for his brutality and then goes to say his favorite wars are the mellow ones, the deep cuts. This may have been sweet talk to get Ares to trust him
BUT I think it's interesting because the image of nature slowly taking over after ppl are gone would count as mellow? Also how overwhelming force sounds alot like volcanos erupting or tsunamis flood cities and how a quick surrender sounds alot like death?
I mean nature is brutal
#pjo#percy jackon and the olympians#grover underwood#pjo tv show#annabeth chase#percy jackson#idk just a thought#and i like how they are showing Grover has a flip side like Dionysus#scary

Bird Bath
Commission for @kazieai
Marco/Reader/Thatch
Summary: What was supposed to be a relaxing couple of hours in the hot springs alone, turned into a relaxing couple of hours in the hot springs with company.
CW: fingering, oral giving and receiving, double penetration, overstimulation, multiple orgasms, threesome, size difference, mdni
Stretching you headed to the open air hot spring. It was an hour or two from dawn, but that was the perfect time. The rest of the crew was passed out from the party, having drunk themselves into a stupor a half hour ago or so, and now you’d have the springs to yourself.
The village you were in was letting the crew stay at the springs for free after, by sheer luck, managing to arrive in time to save them from a convergence of disasters. Pops had stopped a tsunami, and Marco had held back an erupting volcano. Others in the crew had sent off pirates who were razing one of the other villages, and then everyone else had gotten to work putting out fires.
You’d spent the next couple of days helping fix crop fields and repair houses.
The island had been part of the world government alliance, but you were fairly certain they were going to step down voluntarily and redirect at least a portion of their Celestial Tribute to Pops. The jolly roger of the white beard pirates was certainly more of a deterrent in the new world than the threat of marines anyway.
Instead of trading out your terrycloth robe for a towel, you just walked through the space that divided the hallway from the springs. Taking off the robe, you weren’t worried about being naked underneath, and lazily piled the garment into a loose coil, setting it down by the pool’s edge before you slipped in.
The warmth of the water sank into your bones quickly, and you let out a satisfied sigh as you crouch down and put everything below your neck into the water. It’s been a long couple days taking care of the island and then partying afterward, this was bliss.
Quiet, solitary, bliss. No one else to-
You jolt as something breaks the water’s surface and you hear someone take in a deep breath. The small spout of water surrounding them rains down around you and the two of you look at one another in shared shock.
Thatch’s long hair was clinging to his neck and shoulders, the broad, hairy chest of his towering over you. The water was barely deep enough to his hips below the surface as he was standing before you. Somehow he managed to look much taller when he was naked.
“Eh?” He makes the odd sound before stepping back and nearly falling back into the water. “Shit! Sorry!”
“Sorry for what, yoi?” Marco calls out and you see him coming out from around a bend in the pool. The lantern light shifts over his tattooed chest softly, but the moonlight is glinting off his hair. “Oh.” He grins and moves a little closer. “I can’t imagine you mustered up the courage to join us. I bet you expected the springs to be empty, yoi.”
You look mutely between him and Thatch for a moment before nodding. “Yeah I - wait a damn minute.” You glare at Marco. “Whaddya mean ‘courage’?”
He gives you a bemused look, and you see Thatch’s face start to turn pink. “You aren’t exactly subtle, pretty bird.”
You feel the heat rush to your face, and look away from both of them. “… If I was so obvious, why not say something?” You grumble.
Marco moves easily through the water, coming up behind you. It almost feels like he’s cutting off your escape, but as you turn to face him, putting your back to Thatch, you know that if you wanted to leave, they’d let you.
“I’m saying something now.” He hums, leaning toward you slowly. When you don’t move away he leans down until his lips are by your ear. “Me an’ Thatch will take good care of you,” he promises. He’s so close, but he’s not touching you. Not yet.
“Whether you want that just for just tonight, or longer.”
The heat of his words against your skin makes you dizzy. You can’t think well, it doesn’t seem real. If it’s a dream there’s no reason not to indulge, and if it’s reality then Marco’s already given you permission.
“There’s…” You swallow, turning toward him slowly until you can barely catch the intense teal-blue gaze looking back at you. “No need to worry about… duration, right now, yeah?”
You can feel Thatch behind you as Marco straightens up. There’s no verbal answer to your question, but there doesn’t need to be. You stand up slowly. The water that’s at Marco’s stomach, the same water that’s barely keeping Thatch from being indecent, isn’t quite deep enough to hide your breasts from the night air.
They each place a hand on your arm, leaning down slowly until there’s soft, tender lips against your shoulders. A quiet sigh slips from your lips and they squeeze their hold on you just a little tighter, until they’re kissing at the crook of your neck sending sweet shivers through you. Their free hands move and they both start to fondle your breasts as they’re pressing heavier kisses into your skin.
“Ah! Fuck!” you gasp as the pleasure rushes into you and you grab onto Marco’s arms. Their hands shift, and Thatch’s big, calloused fingers are against your breasts, teasing your nipples with fervor. Marco kneels down in front of you, one hand wrapping around your torso and pressing against your back.
His gaze finds yours, hazy and heated, between the pleasure and the spring you’re just melting. Leaning in you move without thinking as he captures your lips, his fingers slipping between your folds at the same time. The soft hum in the back of your throat turns into a squeal of pleasure that Marco happily devours.
Thatch continues to tease your nipples and Marco doesn’t relent in fingering you, making you moan and squirm between them. Your trembling legs were grateful for the buoyancy of the water, steadying yourself against Marco’s arms, you let your legs float, suspending you between them.
Marco leans back and lets your sweet, breathless moans float between the three of you. The heat in your face, from the heat of the hands having their way with you, could care less about the warmth of the hot springs right now.
“Please, I’m gonna,” your words melt into a moan as Thatch leans in and begins kissing your neck.
“Don’t hold back,” he murmurs into your skin. “It’s okay if someone else hears you.”
“Caah-can’t, I can’t,” you gasp, your body shivering in the water enough to create waves between you. The sloshing of water heralds the sweat moans that follow as you cum between them. Thatch pinches your nipples a little more harshly as the pleasure crests and Marco curls his fingers inside you, making your body tense and tremble between them. It almost felt like an orgasm within an orgasm, though any noise was cut off in your throat, your body too tense to cry out.
Your first wet-eyed whimpering gasp is from Marco pulling his fingers out of you. He and Thatch are holding you above the water, even though your feet could reach the bottom, you’re not coordinated enough to bother right now.
Their hands move over your body under the water, bringing parts of you above the water for a moment so they press kisses into the shimmering damp places they want. Slowly you begin to return the actions, moving your hands over their arms and returning soft kisses whenever a part of them was close enough to your mouth for you to manage it.
Marco and Thatch moved you more than you moved yourself, but you were comfortable between them. After a few moments of petting and kissing you find yourself leaning against Marco’s chest as he’s leaning back into the water. The phoenix looks down at you with a soft smile, watching as you nuzzle into him, your hands on his shoulders. There’s been no rush in anyone’s movements since you came down from your first high, and he brushes a lock of wet hair back from your face.
“My fingers aren’t as smooth as Marco’s,” Thatch begins, his voice low and easy. You can feel his admittedly rough fingers moving softly down your back. “But I can make you sing just as sweetly.” He assures you.
Marco puts a hand between your shoulders, keeping you pressed to his chest as Thatch’s hands grip your thighs. He’s so much bigger than you that he nearly gets his one hand around your thigh all on its own. Lifting you up enough to bring your hips out of the water you barely have time to feel the cool air against your skin before his mouth is against your cunt.
Marco holds you as your back arches and your fingers flex against his shoulders, Thatch’s tongue pushing deep into your vagina. The rough hair of his goatee teases your clit randomly, and he’s turned his head enough to avoid sticking his nose in your ass. The revelation of it is more embarrassing than you expected, and your struggling to look at Marco.
“O-Over,” you whine, pleasure already starting to overtake you. “Let me turn over!”
Marco’s brows raise and he smiles. You can feel Thatch pulling away from you. “Oh? You want to watch him?” He teases, seemingly knowingly.
They’re turning you on your back before you can answer, and you’re suddenly even more embarrassed than you were before. Marco holds your back to his chest by cupping your breasts the way Thatch had been before, and he’s kissing the top of your head as Thatch lifts your hips above the water just enough to lick along your slit.
Thatch’s deep green eyes are nearly black in the dim flickering light of the lanterns around the springs’ edges, and he’s not letting go of his hold on your gaze as he pushes his tongue between your labia.
Slowly.
A tremble skitters down your legs as his tongue teases past your clit and pushes into your vagina. Your mouth falls open wider and wider the deeper he pushes into you. His tongue shouldn’t feel so long, and so thick, and once his nose nuzzles into your clit you suck in a heavy gasp.
Marco rolls your stiff nipples between his fingers while Thatch seems intent to devour you. Caught between them there’s little more you can do but shiver and moan from the pleasure. Your wandering hands end up finding Thatch’s hands against your hips, your fingers curling around one of his, giving you something to hold onto as the two slowly worked you up again.
“Listening to your song,” Marco husks, his voice rough and low. “Is even more of a pleasure than I imagined.” One of his hands slips away from your chest and disappears under water, but you can feel the flex of his muscles against your back. “Don’t hold back.” He murmurs, nuzzling against the side of your head and keeping your attention turned to Thatch.
Thatch’s originally intense gaze has gone a little hazy. Pink tinges his cheeks and his fingers flex against your skin. He looks like he’s getting drunk, and he shakes his head from side to side rubbing his nose over your clit, retracting and thrusting his tongue, twisting it inside your throbbing cunt. A deep hum rolls around in his chest and shivers through his mouth, sinking into your desperate body.
You can’t halt the steady dribble of broken moans and needy whines that fall from your lips.
“There you go, yoi.” Marco praises, his voice shivering in his own pleasure and you realize what he’s doing with the hand you can’t see anymore. “I’d suggest you thank him,” he muses, hot breath against your skin as his tongue flicks over the curve of your ear. “But I think he’s too drunk right now.”
“Drunk on… on what?” You gasp. Thatch shifts a little and starts rolling his thumb against your clit, pushing your legs wide and pushing his tongue a little deeper. “Ah—Shhhhhhhit!” The word hisses between your teeth until the orgasm washes over you and rips a deep, satisfied, and heady moan from your lips.
“Drunk,” Marco husks, a grunt cutting off his words as his hip bucks under the water. “On you, pretty bird.”
Thatch moans deeply, eyes nearly rolling back as he seems intent to devour the sweet slick of your orgasm, nearly riling you up for a second one before he pulls his tongue out. You roll beneath him as he licks long lines up your lower stomach.
“Sweeter than any dessert I could make.” He murmurs, placing soft kisses against your skin and pulling half-hearted giggles from you with the soft ticklish feeling.
“I don’t think you could put me on the menu,” you grin, pressed between the two of them again. Cradling Thatch’s face in your hands you pull him toward you for a warm kiss. He presses brief and soft kisses against your lips a couple times before kissing you deeply.
“A special menu then,” he teases, eyes shifting to Marco before he looks back at you. “One where you can decide who gets to order from it.”
You laugh at the idea, exchanging a few more sweet kisses with Thatch, and then Marco. The three of you slowly worked your way to the shallower part of the spring. No one seemed to want to let anyone get too far away and it made it a little slow going. The dark sky was beginning to give way to the first subtle signs of day, though proper sunrise was still some time away.
You can’t help where your gaze wanders as the two stand well above the water line. They’re both, perhaps a little dauntingly so, well-endowed. Marco’s not hard, but you’re pretty sure he got himself off in the spring earlier. Thatch is not only hard, but twitching in the cool air.
It seemed a shame to leave him like that.
“Thatch,” you point to the steps leading out of the spring. “Sit down for me, please.”
“Hm? Sure thing, sweetheart.” His questioning tone turns into a cocksure grin as he sits on the top step, little more than his feet and the backs of his thighs left in the water. He spreads his legs, seeming to know what you have in mind. Despite the bold move, you can see blush dusting his face.
You press your lips together, feeling more transparent than you intended, and step up until you’re between his legs.
“Oh?” Marco hums. “I thought you’d want to run away from the coming dawn.” He teases.
You can feel the heat rush into your face as you lean down. “It seems rude to make him wait longer.” You manage to say wrapping your hand around Thatch’s thick shaft and hearing him suck in a breath. Grinning up at him you pump your hand up and down a couple times. “I don’t think this will take long.”
“Me either.” Thatch agrees. A whimpered swear falls from his lips when you lean down and lick the tip.
“Don’t half-ass it just because he’s easy.” Marco says, grabbing your hips and shoving two fingers inside you without much warning. Gasping as you tip forward you end up with nearly half of Thatch’s impressive length in your mouth before your hands are on his thighs, steadying yourself.
Marco doesn’t relent in fingering you, making you moan against Thatch as you right yourself enough to suck on his tip. Using one hand to stroke him - you’re not going to take him completely into your mouth without a little prep and a lot of practice - you can already hear his breath coming out hot and shaky. Leaning back, he sweeps your hair off to the side, giving himself a better view while you go to work.
“This is almost too lewd,” He husks, spreading his legs a little further.
“And yet,” Marco grins and Thatch can’t help but chuckle.
“I don’t want to scare her,” There’s a jovial tone in Thatch’s voice. You straighten up a little, giving him a look.
“I’m not a glass wind chime,” you pout. “You don’t scare me anyway. Big,” you squeeze his cock a little, “fluffy cook that you are.”
Thatch’s grip on your hair tightens and he holds you in place. There’s kindness in his eyes, but a lusty grin on his lips. “And yet I want to pull your hair and force that sweet little mouth down to my balls.” He explains and you can’t help the flush of need that rushes through you at the idea.
Sweet, gentle, and more pointedly, gentlemanly Thatch, doing something so crude. The idea of him being rough was more of a turn on than you expected. He tugs your hair enough to pull you into a kiss, the sudden, rough movement making you squeak into his lips, pulling your hand away from his cock.
Thatch pushes his tongue deep into your mouth, the action coarse and still sweet somehow. Even demanding as the action was, you knew you could’ve pulled free with little fuss. When he relents you suddenly remember to breathe, a single line of saliva connecting your tongues for a moment before the distance was too great.
“Puh… please.” You beg and he smiles, kissing you far more tenderly.
“One day,” he agrees, releasing his hold and leaning back again, leaving you to return to your task.
You try to deep throat him and realize you’re not going to get more than halfway down. Thatch doesn’t stop you, and doesn’t say anything when you give yourself a break and bring your hand back into things. He’s too long and too thick, but you were sure you’d be able to get plenty of practice.
Even with the interruption it only takes a couple minutes of effort to bring Thatch to the edge.
“Sw-sweetheart,” he stammers. “I’m close, I’m - gonna cum, if you don’t - oh hells.” At Thatch’s words you began to take more of him into your throat and there was nothing he could do but accept it.
“That’s beautiful,” Marco hums, pulling his fingers out of you and smacking your ass sharply. You squeal against Thatch’s cock and the cook swears, cumming down the back of your throat. Thick and hot you had to pull back a little to swallow, your hands pumping his shaft until he’s shivering and gently - but relentlessly - pushing you back until you release his cock with a soft pop from your lips.
“You’re almost as insatiable as Marco,” Thatch huffs.
“It’s not my fault all the birds of paradise in my collection have such sweet songs.” Marco grumbles.
“All?” You question as Thatch gets to his feet.
“Mm, a worry for later,” Thatch assures you. “Someone didn’t want to worry about duration tonight, right?”
You laugh, stepping out of the spring with the two of them. “No, I suppose not.”
“Speaking of,” Marco begins, picking up your robe and putting it around your shoulders. “There’s no one in our room, and Thatch doesn’t have to make breakfast for everyone else this morning, yoi.”
Thatch grins down at you. “You’re welcome to turn in now, if you want.” He offers. “But I don’t think we’ve had a chance to… properly sate you, princess.”
“Princess?” You raise a brow.
“Certainly,” Marco agrees, offering his elbow. “Won’t you let us give you the royal treatment for a while longer?”
.
.
.
Thatch was laying on his back on the futon, him and Marco easing you down over him. The swollen head of his cock was covered in lube, and slipping easily between your labia.
“We’ll lift you back up,” Marco promises as you lower your hips enough that Thatch was pushing into your entrance. “So relax.”
Nodding you sigh. “Yeah, y-yeah, I’m good - Ah!” Your cry is more pleasure and surprise than anything else, though they manage to hold you in place for a second while you adjust. The stretch was more than you expected, but once you’d left the hot springs, Marco and Thatch had spent almost twenty minutes slowly working you open.
It wasn’t your first time, but Thatch was big in a lot of ways, and it wasn’t just him that was going to be inside you. The toy plug in your ass wasn’t going to be in there much longer, but first you wanted to make sure you could even take Thatch completely. If you bottomed out before you even got halfway down then you’d have to readjust the positions everyone was in.
“Poor Thatchie,” Marco teases. “Always having to be so careful.”
You squirmed, pulling up a little before settling back down further. “It feels… so good though,” you gasp, rolling your hips up again and then sinking down further. Thatch is holding onto your hands, though your fingers barely make it past his palms, but it’s giving you leverage. Marco’s hands are at your hips, helping you move since your feet are barely reaching the futon.
You sink lower and bite your lower lip to keep from crying out as the heads of his cock nuzzles into some sweet spot inside you. With a satisfied sigh you sink the rest of the way, surprising the two of them as your thighs rest flush against his hips. Marco has a hand over your mouth just as you cry out in pleasure. You hadn’t cum, but it still felt so good.
“Worried about being overheard now?” Thatch questions and Marco shrugs.
“I didn’t know if it was going to be pleasurable or painful.” He admits, leaning down and kissing against your shoulders. “You’re incredible, pretty bird, taking him in like that.” His hands slips around your hip, moving toward your clit. “You can cum like this with a little help, if you want.”
You make a noise, you can’t say no, but you’re almost afraid to say yes. It feels greedy when you’ve cum so many times already. Thatch squeezes your hands and you manage to nod as Marco’s fingers tease your clit.
“Don’t worry,” Marco purrs against your skin. “You’ll cum with both of us inside you soon.”
You lean back into Marco, fingers trembling against Thatch’s hands as the pleasure builds inside you quickly. Every twitch and shiver of your body creates an embarrassingly wet squishy sound from all the lube, but the pleasure that’s starting to overtake you is enough for you to not care.
“F-fuck,” you gasp, your hips jerking under Marco’s fingers. The first division commander moves with you, not giving you a moment’s respite as the orgasm rips through you. Thatch grunts as you cry out, throwing his head back with a heavy thump.
“Don’t brain yourself trying not to cum.” Marco grumbles at Thatch, one hand cradling your head as you melt against him, murmuring soft thank yous once he stop playing with your clit.
“She got so tight for a second there,” he huffs, as Marco slowly lifts you up. You and Thatch both sigh from the action, and once he pulls you off Thatch’s cock entirely he works the plug out of your ass.
“You’re doing so good, pretty bird.” He assures you, smiling as you whine from the sensation of the plug coming out. “You’re so sensitive, you sing so easily.” He presses the head of his cock against your ass. The plug had been a little bit thicker, but the stretch was still painfully sweet.
“Relax,” he commands, pushing in slowly as he and Thatch sink you back down onto Thatch’s cock. Both of them slowly push into you, easing in and out carefully until they’ve filled you to the brim.
“Gods, holy -,” you gasp squirming between them. “-fuck, it’s, hnnngh!” You’re effectively pinned between them, the angle leaning you forward a little and pushing your clit against Thatch’s coarse pubes. “Too much.” You take in a deep breath as they shift just a little before filling you completely again. “It’s almost too much.”
“Almost,” Marco hums, hands on your thighs. “Then you can handle a little more?”
You nod. Your legs are already trembling, but you squirm between them, part of you concerned, and part of you curious about the pleasure to be had.
“Good girl,” Marco and Thatch say at the same time. The words go straight to your brain and you can’t even tell them not to praise you like that before they’re already helping you ride them.
You can feel them rubbing and stretching inside you. It’s surreal and it feels so good. You understand vaguely why people call it having your guts rearranged, because it almost feels inhuman, but there’s no pain. The pressure is intense, but every movement is sending shudders through you. If it wasn’t for them holding onto you, you would’ve collapsed into an uncoordinated pile of bones by now.
Once you thought you’d adjusted to them they switched it up. Thatch pushes into you deep as Marco nearly pulls out. They piston in and out of you like this and all you can do is whine and tremble between them. Your thighs shiver and your legs twitch, but you don’t have leverage to move much more than that. Thatch has your hands, and he’s drinking in every shiver of your body.
“You’re doing so good,” Marco husks. He’s been murmuring praises to you the entire time, but even so there’s a desperation to his tone. Like he’s on the edge of just wanting to take you no matter what you might say. Right now you’ve no intention of asking them to stop.
“Cu-KUHNNNGH!” Your intent to warn them you were going to cum turns into a tense growl. You stutter and twist, your body spasming against their cocks, but they don’t stop. Both Marco and Thatch fuck you through the first orgasm, until they’re pushing airy moans from you as your body begins to tremble from overstimulation.
Thatch lets go of your hands, putting one hand against your clavicle, his fingers curling gently around your throat. You hold onto his arm and he starts teasing your breasts with his other hand. Your wispy whimpers turn into a growl and you shatter a swear between your teeth as a second orgasm crashes into you.
The sound you make is guttural, but you don’t care. You’re almost drowning in all the pleasure, and it’s only the deep trust you have of your crew mates that keeps you from panicking. You don’t know if you’re going to pass out or not, but you do know that Marco and Thatch will take care of you.
“Poor thing’s long gone,” Thatch says through grit teeth.
“She sounds as beautiful as she looks,” Marco growls. “I hope you sing for me long after this, pretty bird.”
“Please, please,” you sob as the third orgasm builds. It feels so good already you don’t know what to do. “Marco - Marco, Thatch, please, fuck - please!” It’s going to be your fifth? Sixth? Who cares at this point, but you don’t know if you’re going to scream or just lose control of your body entirely.
“We will,” Marco assures you. “Once more, pretty bird, sing one more time.”
Thatch swears, his hips lifting up off the futon to slam into you, the rush of his orgasm flooding hot inside you. The sensation is enough to push you over and you dig your nails into Thatch’s arm as all your muscles spark and tense. Marco cums with you, pressing into you as his fingers risk leaving bruising marks on your hips. He barely makes a sound, but the hot rush in your ass and the twitch of his cock makes it through your hazy senses.
“Fuck me,” Thatch sighs, nearly melting into the futon.
“We just did,” Marco teases, and you manage a weak chuckle as Marco slowly pulls himself and Thatch out of you.
“Haaa,” you sigh, the shivering whine escaping you from the sudden emptiness. You were stuffed so full that it’s almost disappointing how empty you feel.
Marco helps you lay down on Thatch’s broad chest, and the cook pulls you into a gentle and warm hug. Marco lays down next to you both, running his hand down your back soothingly as he leans over and gives Thatch a kiss on the cheek.
“You both did good, yoi.”
“I… I don’t think I can walk.” You admit. Marco and Thatch are quiet for a second before they both start laughing.
“We’ll take care of you, pretty bird.” Marco promises, ruffling your sweaty hair.
Thatch hums in agreement. “For as long as you want us to.”

Hi, it's the Rozin anon. Crawled out from my w40k obsession back into my ATLA phase because of Roku's novel. I love that little twerp, what can I say to justify myself? (Sozin too, mwah *throws him into a blender*)
Came here to complain again. Shocker, I know. And I think I figured out why so little people actually took Rozin seriously and haven't reduced into a fandom joke, like 90% of the fandom did. It's because ATLA fans don't see Roku (and Sozin) as characters of their own too. They don't take them seriously and even had shown their clear dislike for the characters. It's understandable in Sozin's case. A bad guy, an imperialist, a traitor, a closeted bigot. But I, to this day, had never understood the hate surrounding Roku.
Seriously, what did this guy do? Left Sozin alone after threatening him? Killing Sozin would've brought disastrous consequences, because he is a fire lord who, presumably, has already earned nation's loyalty to him. Killing him would've caused so much pain in the ass to the future avatars as well. Besides, this is literally exactly what everyone's beloved Kyoshi did with her fire lord problem. "But Chin the-!" She literally didn't do anything until he came to her land. How many people had Chin's army killed before she stepped in? How many villages and towns had he pillaged before she stepped in? I know the avatar is a human and literally can't be an omnipresent beacon of justice, stopping evil no matter where it is, but... Come on, girl! Also, I don't care what you say, but, that's not murder. I played Ace Attorney, I can prove Kyoshi's innocence whatever she likes it/agrees with me or not.
The volcano death? Volcanoes are fucking terrifying, man! The Yellowstone Volcanoes used to give me NIGHTMARES when I was a kid. Often times, the lava is not even the worst part. The ash fall, which would lead to food shortage and therefore massive famine, the lava coming into contact with water producing toxic gases, the area being a hell on Earth in the foreseeable future, the earthquakes, the tsunamis! And Roku had to keep track of ALL OF THOSE THINGS AT THE SAME TIME. Even if people were already on the boats, they could still had been hit by a massive wave generated by another eruption. "But Aang-!" His volcano was on land and a bit smaller. Also he had to deal with only one. Roku had to deal with two at same time, that were in the close proximity with each other, all on the same small island. No wonder Sozin came to help.
And, okay. All of the points I mentioned had already been brought up by other people when defending Roku. But, now we finally have the Roku centric novels! Yay! Finally, Roku fans won't have to read dumb shit being said about their favorite charact-
Aaaaaand people are now freaking out over the leaks! I'm not going to spoil anything here, but just... Guys... Can we PLEASE not gatekeep fucking BENDING??? Your fave won't die or become irrelevant just because another character can do what they can. Maybe focus on something actually unique and important of theirs, like, idk, their personality??? Their relationship with other characters??? How pretty/sexy they are??
Anyway, I'm pissed off and now I'll go and draw young Roku in a cow print bikini. Femboy Roku agenda, idc anymore, I'm anon, what are you gonna do to me?

In January, an underwater volcano known as Hunga Tonga erupted near the remote Pacific nation of Tonga, sending plumes of gas and ash thousands of feet into the atmosphere. The explosion was so powerful it was captured by numerous weather satellites and sent a four-foot tsunami wave into the capital city of Nuku’alofa. Here we see two images: one in the days leading up to the eruption (Jan. 12) and after with the center on the volcanic island blown away (Jan. 15).
Follow along as we continue to recap key events from 2022 from the Overview perspective.

Yeah, Vengeful Anais always lets a very, very small portion of descendants survive its wrath, and lets them repopulate while still haunting them of what it will do to their family in the future, and then once they are a full house? They strike.
Sort of like fattening up a cow before butchering it.
They CRAVE the blood of these descendants, NEEDS to make them suffer endless torment, so they will continue collecting until the sun flickers out, even after Destruction escapes and wrecks havoc, it will save them, only to hurt them more.. if that’s what it takes.
Also, how much magic will be poured back into the ecosystem and the land as a whole once Destruction escapes? What will be the effects of it?
Oh, SO MUCH... things that had trouble properly decaying will suddenly decay as they had been meant to, the surrounding forest will be decimated just when it's released, a sudden mass death before Destruction has even begun... volcanos erupting all at once, tsunamis coming from the oceans...
Creatures probably acting strange suddenly...
Chaos.

To add on to the previous ask; the limited additions are like an alternate story/version of that book it's for.
Book 1: the Dragonets get caught by the SkyWings, however Sunny was taken by Burn, and Glory is forced to fight in the arena.
Book 2: Tsunami isn't actually Coral's daughter, and Coral hates her for some reason. Also the SkyWings never find the Summer Palace.
Book 3: After being kicked out of the Kingdom of the Sea, for whatever reason, the four remaining dragonets go to the Rainforest Kingdom to meet Glory's parents. Glory gets kidnapped from the NightWings, however only Kinkajou escaped. Kinkajou tells the others about what happened.
Book 4: Starflight sneaks into the Night Kingdom and frees Glory. The volcano erupts as they left - they didn't know it would erupt - and wipes out the NightWings.
Book 5: They go to the Kingdom of Sand and saw that Sunny was still alive. Never being told the prophecy was fake, they fulfilled the fake prophecy.

its a bird its a plane its the wof arc 1 dod! yeah i was into drawing wof before i really honed in on cats believe it or not. it’s finally time to revisit my roots, wof was the first fandom i was introduced to at a young age and wof fanon wiki was the first internet space i ever joined!
a real deep dive on what went into these designs below the cut, im not sure about your regular epiphlyte.tumblr.com reader but i know i absolutely loove to listen to people talk about their creative choices!
___
clay’s the design i’m most unhappiest with; unlike what i usually do with these kinds of multiple character drawings i completely sketched/lined/coloured each character before moving on to the next. you can tell i did him first LOL the entire time i was just like “eughh i wanna redo him,,,” i like the direction he’s going but the execution isn’t my favourite for sure. i’d like to revisit him someday!
second one i did was tsunami! at the time i didn’t really like her face shape since it wasn’t what i was picturing, but now i actually quite like it. could maybe use a bit of tweaking (and colour variation?) here or there but i think this design’s good! i like her swirlies!
i was super proud of glory’s lineart but then moved onto the colours and? they look fine after ten minutes of changing the hues around but they’re still not ones i usually work with. i like the general base i have down for rainwings and how they look so frilly and out of place next to my other dragons, and i think it suits glory’s place in canon!
starflight’s just a generic little dragon. a lad. i originally had a bandanna on him and drew him with his volcano eruption scars but i forgot them when lining,,,, oops (it was 3 am i was half awake),, however i do like the simplicity for nightwings! it fits their role in canon, but i want to come up with more accessories/shapes/colours to distinguish them
sunny’s the design i did last and also the one i’m most proud of, my little lemon cow <3! i like the little sparkles in her frills and her face shape though id like to maybe play around with the colours a little more. comparing her with starflight im not sure how no one in canon could guess that she was half nightwing lol, although i sort of like that!
___
generally, apart from maybe sunny, i want to make these designs more unique and reminiscent of my own. fiddling around with colours and such... the characters are a lot less same-facey than they used to be years ago but i want to play with those shapes even further.
anyhow, thank you for reading this far if anyone did!
#wings of fire#wof#dragonets of destiny#clay#tsunami#glory#starflight#sunny#late night doodles#are long bodies of text hard to read for yall?#they didn't used to bother me but rereading this b4 posting was hell#lemme know what you think?#i tend to ramble a lot lmao

Happy Storyteller Saturday! Are any of your characters themed after a certain fairytale or myth?
Ooh, good question! They're not based on any specific myth or specific story, but they've got fairytale and myth-like elements (like Aspen the forest spirit).
One sort of real-life tale/myth/idea/something(?) that inspired parts of The Stray Spirit specifically is the general concept of hidden truths within older stories that are largely dismissed as pure myth nowadays. A couple examples that come to mind, and apologies for not having more specific examples off the top of my head:
stories about gods that, when put into the context of their time periods and locations, describe real-life events, like volcanic eruptions or earthquakes
stories and songs about locations that only existed pre-Ice Age
disparate stories that actually connect to each other (ex: earthquakes in one part of the world causing tsunamis in the other part of the world, with both civilizations recording the event in different ways)
This is a common pattern in indigenous oral history. That example I mentioned above about pre-Ice Age locations? There are indigenous Australian oral histories that genuinely describe places that are now underwater, which means those stories are thousands of years old! Oh, and here, I found one about Hawaiian volcano narratives and how they describe real-life lava flows that align with our geological findings! They're just so cool!!
While The Stray Spirit doesn't actually align with these stories nor these communities, it does involve the general concept of a) stories describing a real-life event in an abstract way that people might overlook; b) songs containing important hidden messages; and c) those songs and stories being forgotten over time.
anyhoo, sorry for the rambling!! thanks for the ask!

The Elements of Love
Summary: What it feels like to love within the elements
Includes: various from BLLK, AOT, BNHA, JJK, HQ
A/N: Idk man. This is just all based off vibes I get from them. Feel free to disagree with some or all and give me your input for what you think should be different!! (Just be nice about it <3) Or if I missed a chara you wanna tell me about feel free 💜 ||| Shoutout to Aims for letting me ramble about the elements when I started this idea, and shoutout to Caly and Echo for helpin me associate some of the characters <33 ||| don’t perceive me pls
water = friends with benefits to lovers/will they-wont they
water is always like that comforting feeling of floating, of lulling back and forth on soft waves, of like just the comfort of the waves taking you where you're meant to be. but when it turns to rip tides where they pull you under and there's no way to survive fighting against it, it catches you no matter what, the only way to exist is to go with it, to swim with the tide. and its a little scary at first to get pulled under when you've tried not to be but if you just relax and let yourself look under the surface its fine, you can swim with the tide until you're back in soothing waves just deeper than before. but tsunamis come out of nowhere, the pulling away, leaving you unsuspecting before it hits you out of nowhere, the utter feel of drowning in a love you never expected
BLLK: Otoya Eita, Niko Ikki, Kunigami Rensuke, Itoshi Rin; AOT: Erwin Smith, Hange Zoë; BNHA: Tōgata Mirio, Shinsō Hitoshi, Todoroki Shōto, Shindō Yō; JJK: Itadori Yūji, Chōsō; HQ: Matsukawa Issei, Suna Rintarō, Miya Atsumu, Kozume Kenma, Kageyama Tobio, Ushijima Wakatoshi, Hirugami Sachirō, Sakusa Kiyoomi
fire = slowburn romances/enemies to lovers
fires always start as a spark, small and unsuspecting and they grow into a fire. like campfires that are warm and inviting, feel like comfort and home. it feels like you could stay curled up into it for the rest of your life. fire that sparks up a little more with the smallest of circumstances. it grows and expands and engulfs everything in its path. wildfires that rampage through you and erase everything you've known, begging you to start anew and to grow new love from the wreckage of everything else. all-consuming and rebirth. slowburns, volcanos that build slowly for years before the smallest thing makes them erupt, forcing them to blow over, explode, spontaneous confessions of love after years of pining, before spreading and slowly consuming the ground you'd stood on, creating a new landscape for both to explore
BLLK: Shidō Ryūsei, Bachira Meguru, Raichi Jingo; AOT: Jean Kirschtein, Conny Springer, Porco Galliard, Levi Ackermann; BNHA: Dabi, Bakugō Katsuki, Shigaraki Tomura, Kaminari Denki; JJK: Sukuna, Fushiguro Megumi, Fushiguro Tōji; HQ: Daishō Suguru, Satori Tendō, Bokuto Kōtarō, Hinata Shōyō, Ukai Keishin, Yaku Morisuke, Tsukishima Kei, Akaashi Keiji
earth = friends to lovers/exes to lovers
earth is grounding, something solid to put your feet on, a basis for everything else, always growing and sprouting new things. its the feeling of laying in the grass or digging your toes into the sand, the comfort of feeling something sturdy to latch onto. it turns to earthquakes, the rumbling of the ground under you of your lover changing your world, shifting the plates of the earth in order to draw you closer, creating mountains and valleys, shifting your entire terrain. its the gravity constantly pulling you back to them no matter how far you go, the need to be close, to watch them literally move the earth for you, to adjust everything you both are and create something new. slow changing where you cant notice from one second to the next but building wonders that force awe out of anyone that sees them
BLLK: Karasu Tabito, Barō Shōei, Mikage Reo, Aiku Oliver; AOT: Eren Jaeger, Reiner Braun; BNHA: Aizawa Shōta, Bakugō Katsuki, Midoriya Izuku, Kirishima Eijirō; JJK: Inumaki Toge, Getō Suguru, Nanami Kento; HQ: Miya Osamu, Yamaguchi Tadashi, Terushima Yūji, Sawamura Daichi, Ojiro Aran, Konoha Akinori, Iwaizumi Hajime, Meian Shūgo, Hirugami Fukurō
air = love at first sight/love by chance
air is soft wind at first, the way it tickles like breath against your neck, like gentle fingers through your hair, soft kisses against your cheeks before it grips you like a vice. there's no way to hide from the air, especially when it turns to tornados. it picks you up and makes you dizzy, rips everything you know to shreds and spins you in circles. it steals the breath from your lungs and leaves you gasping though you'll never know if its because you want less or more. it carries you from one place to another, its impossible to not follow to not chase the wreckage you'll both leave behind and watch it happen over and over again. a sudden change from nothing to everything with barely any warning, just the urge to relive the thrill over and over again
BLLK: Itoshi Sae, Nagi Seishirō, Chigiri Hyōma; AOT: Armin Arlelt, Bertholdt Hoover; BNHA: Toyomitsu Taishirō, Amajiki Tamaki, Midoriya Izuku, Sero Hanta, Kaibara Sen; JJK: Gojō Satoru, Okkotsu Yūta; HQ: Sugawara Kōshi, Oikawa Tōru, Kita Shinsuke, Kuroo Tetsurō, Hanamaki Takahiro, Adriah Thomas, Semi Eita, Kamasaki Yasushi

On Writing: Characters in Disasters
There’s more than one way for your characters to be heroes. One of my favorite SF series is P.M. Griffin’s Star Commandos. In every book the heroes have to face not only space pirates, arms dealers, or murderers, but also some form of natural disaster. Volcanoes, floods, scuttling hordes - it’s never as simple as find bad guys, shoot bad guys.
It’s also not as action-glamorous, so consider carefully if this fits the kinds of characters you’re writing and the story you want to tell. Not everyone is cut out to handle a disaster and come out in one piece, physically or mentally. Doc Holliday, for all his years of gunfighting, was laid low by a resurgence of his tuberculosis after he pulled people from a burning building. The smoke inhalation was just too much.
But what if you do want to send your characters into a disaster, prepared or not?
One of the first things to consider, possibly even before you decide what kind of disaster to hit them with, is how much warning do they have?
None at all is, of course, perfectly valid. Sometimes you’ve been isekai’d. Sometimes you’ve crashed on an unknown planet. Sometimes you’re just traveling through the wrong airport or highway tunnel, and you have no idea about the local hazards. In which case you’ve got to go with what’s in your pockets, and whatever you can get from the local environment. You’ll have to be creative.
If characters do have warning... it’ll depend on what they know, or think they know, about this kind of disaster. First aid kits and potable water are almost always useful. However, if what you see is the ocean rapidly receding... drop the water and bolt for high ground. Tsunamis waste no time.
A few specific disasters, and some suggestions.
Earthquakes: Suck. You generally have little to no warning. If you’re sane enough to be in a reinforced building, or lucky enough to be outside and not driving over a bridge span, you may be fine. For everyone not that lucky, it’s a race against time. You have to find them, dig them out, and at the same time handle maneuvering through fire-prone wreckage with interesting hazards like broken water and gas lines. Sanitation becomes a problem fast, as it does in many disasters, and aftershocks add to the hazards.
Volcanoes: May suck less than earthquakes, if you pay attention to the warning signs. (Some of which are earthquakes.) If it’s a nice, tame, lava-erupting volcano, evacuate people and handle the cleanup later. If it’s a stratovolcano prone to pyroclastic flows a la Mount St. Helens... run. Just run. If anyone’s lucky enough to survive closer in you can find them later.
Hurricanes: Your danger level and amount of warning depends a lot on your tech level. If you have days of warning, there’s time to either clear the danger zone or prep for extended inconvenience. Things you’ll want include cooking fuel, water purifiers, ice, mosquito repellent....
Bombing: The worst aspects of an earthquake combined with fire and human malice. Along with regular cleanup and search for survivors, you’re going to need medics and EOD experts. Just in case.
Fires: Depend a lot on what’s burning and where. Being in a forest on fire is potentially deadly. Being in a building on fire is usually much worse. Don’t get burned, don’t breathe smoke; remember that burn victims dehydrate fast, and are prone to infections.
Floods: Infections from dirty water and getting enough clean drinking water are major problems. Travel will be hampered by water, debris, or both.
Famine: This is a bad one. Find out if the problem is not enough food, or if for some reason food’s not getting to people. Malnutrition also leads to infections and worse.
Can your characters handle disasters? Or will they need to be rescued themselves?

A Hypatia stone from an extra-terrestrial planet could be the first tangible sign of an explosion of type Ia supernova. Among the universe’s most energetic events are these rare supernovas. It is possible that Hypatia is a “forensic” clue from the early formation of our solar system of a cosmic story that spans millions of years.
Those approaching Gatwick Airport were confused after a prankster erected a sign reading “Welcome to Luton.” Air passengers arriving at the UK’s second-largest airport, which is located just over 30 miles south of central London, can make out the 60m (197ft) sign.
A recently developed artificial skin system closely resembles human skin. The system uses electronic signals to sense temperature, humidity, and pressure simultaneously. This is leaning towards more intelligent prostheses being created and also more sensitive robots.
Elon Musk completes his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.
At least 156 people are killed and another 152 injured in a crowd crush during Halloween festivities in Seoul, South Korea.

@who-is-this-weirdo Morrowseer should do theater
This is the Epilouge for moon rising btw
Morrowseer ran down the rocky terrain as the volcano shook the Earth. The rest of the tribe was heading the other direction towards the rainwing tunnel.
He entered one of the sleeping caves knocking over Secretkeeper as she ran out.
She gathered herself and asked, "Morrowseer, what's happening?"
Morrowseer took her hand and squeezed tight, never wanting to let go.
"The volcano is erupting, we need to get to the tunnel." He said. "We can make plans to take the Rainforest later, the dragonets won't be able to defeat us once we're there."
Secretkeeper looked to the cave, "what about the plan? How is our Queen going to make it?"
Morrowseer started to tug on her now, he was desperate to get her out safely. "Were going under that Rainwings claws for now, Greatness will take over once I fixed this mess. Now come on!"
They took flight and flew towards the mass of nightwings. He could hear them shouting "QUEEN GLORY!" As they ran to safety.
Cowards. He thought, he would never go under her wing like a scared hatchling, even in a situation like this. He already had a few ideas in mind.
He could convince Greatness to take charge and order the nightwings to burn down the Rainwing village, Or he could kill glory and the dragonets himself.
They landed at the Tunnel entrance, entering as the dragonets sent daggers at him.
"You think we're gonna let you of all nightwings, into the Rainforest?" Said Tsunami sharply.
"Well of course, who's gonna stop us? You?" He pointed his sharp claw at her before pulling it away, her bit missing.
"If you wanna make it out you better start flying towards the mainland." Commented Clay
"Maybe you'll have a chance to rethink your decisions on the way, and change."
These dragonets and they're hope
The volcano spat out another puff of large smoke, even scaring Morrowseer.
"Morrowseer, let's go." Secretkeeper pulled his arm, he wrapped it around her and pulled her close with his tail.
"Me and my love are going to the Rainforest no matter what." He snarled. "Now if you excuse me, we should get going."
"Not until you stop tampering with the prophecy!" Said Sunny.
He cackled, knowing the truth. "You silly sandwing, I control the prophecy." He leaned toward her, stretching his long neck.
"Prophecies don't work like that. You can't control them. What ever is going to happen will happen- that's the whole point of destiny!"
He grinned fiercely, teeth a stingy yellow. "I certainly can make the prophecy happen however I want,"
Secretkeeper's eyes widend, "Morrowseer, we can't tell them the secret! That's why we don't let our dragonets go to the continent until they're 10!"
He ignored her, and spread his wings to full extent making the shadows darker around him.
"No you can't! And you know it, Fate will end this war." Snapped Sunny.
"I made it up!" He bellowed, "It's just a big scheme to get the rainforest!"
"You're only saying that to be awful!" She cried.
"But, how?" Clay asked astonished.
"Simple," Morrowseer started to walk towards them, slowly closing them in the tunnel.
"Queen Battlewinner and I wrote it together after the last Eruption destroyed part of the fortress. We knew we needed a home soon, and the prophecy was our plan to get it."
"But, your never mentioned in the prophecy." Said Clay.
"What does the prophecy have to do with were the nightwings live?" Starflight scratched his head.
"We planned to control the dragonets by including a nightwing, who'd naturally be the leader." He lashed his tail back and fourth.
"We had no idea what an Absolute FAILURE you'd turn out. The next step was to choose a sandwing queen and join forces to guarantee she'd win."
Starflight scrunched his nose, "Then your ally, whoever you picked would help you take over the Rainforest.."
"To Steal the Rainforest." Growled Clay.
"Precisely, and you were going to fulfill it." Morrowseer loved the fear displayed on their face.
"Morrowseer let's go, we can discuss this later." Secretkeeper walked without him into the tunnel, but blocked by the dragonets.
"He can't go! He's a monster!" Tsunami protested.
"Really? Who's gonna stop us, the five off you?"
Clay, Tsunami, Starflight, Sunny, and Fatespeaker gathered around each other, facing evil. "Yes"
The volcano exploded, almost blowing out Morrowseer's ear drums. He almost leaped over the dragonets, trying to make his way down the tunnel.
"SECRETKEEPER LETS GO!" He shouted, but as the wind gust forced them out to the end of the tunnel, and into the cool rainforest, he felt the sting of realization that he'd left Secretkeeper instead of grabbing her. He wirled around, The dragonets were their instead. But they weren't looking at him, Starflight was burned badly, while Sunny whined over his unconscious body.
He looked at the other side and there was Secretkeeper's charred body, she curled into a ball and was surprisingly conscious.
Terror struck his chest, crushing him until he collapsed at her body.
"Secretkeeper..." He couldn't focus, the only dragon that truly loved him back and thought he could potentially do good was dying, right in front of him.
"Moon..." She managed.
All emotions were running through him all at once, rushing like a cascading waterfall. Until finally, anger, rage.
His breathing got deeper and rougher as he gritted his teeth and widend his eyes.
He wirled around to face the dragonets.
"YOUVE CAUSED ME ENOUGH TROUBLE!" He roared.
"I'VE BEEN WAITING YEARS TO STEP INTO THE RAINFOREST WITH MY LOVE."
"You won't be in it for long!" Clay shouted.
Morrowseer grabbed Clay and threw him against a tree and roared fiercely at him.
"YOU! YOU ARE WEAK AND WORTHLESS TO US."
Something sharp pinched his back, Tsunami was sanking her teeth further into his scales.
"AARRRRAHHHHH!" He threw his back into a tree, crushing her.
"Tsunami!" Yelled Glory. She swooped up and grabbed Morrowseer's horn and pulled as hard as she could.
"AND YOU! NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU DIDN'T EXIST!"
"Morrowseer stop!" She aimed her fangs at him before missing and disintegrating a plant.
"IVE BEEN TRAPPED ON THAT ISLAND, WISHING FOR A BETTER HOME FOR ME AND SECRETKEEPER."
Deathbringer hopped into the battle. He tried holding him back by his tail, but he lashed him to the side.
"Ready the darts!" Shouted the Queen.
Several rainwings lined up and frantically put darts into the blow guns.
Morrowseer clawed and hit while they slipped just beneath his talons, like they always had.
"I SHOULD'VE BEEN THERE TO CONTROL YOU, I SHOULD'VE BEEN THERE TO GET THE SKYWING EGG, I SHOULD'VE BEEN THERE, TO MAKE. THINGS. RIGHT."
Lastly he kicked Deathbringer before several darts shot into his neck. He pulled them out quickly and tossed them.
"You really think a couple of darts are going to stop–stop.." his grin faded, as he could feel the effectiveness hitting him.
"Lava spitters..." He cursed before he collapsed to the ground, shaking the trees.
* * *
The next few days Morrowseer was forced into a sandpit with Mastermind. He was given several chances to visited Secretkeeper in the rainwing hospitals.
He felt he should have already made several plans with Greatness, their true queen. But she was happy here, as well as lot of other nightwings.
The dragonets found a spot to play near the pond, splashing at each over and catching oddly colored frogs and sloths.
Morrowseer wish he had that as a dragonet.
Walking through the leafy doors he was met with a blue green dragonet at her side.
She had bright curved horns, large talons and a streak of blue stars under her wing. The most odd thing about her was a silver scale the shape of a teardrop, falling from her eye. He'd never seen her before and she looked extremely healthy, as though she never stepped foot onto that depressing waste land of a home.
"Morrowseer," Whispered Secretkeeper. Her eyes were slightly open, just enough to recognize who he was. She'd been unconscious since the Eruption, and seeing her awake made Morrowseer's heart skip.
"Secretkeeper!" He hopped to her side, almost forgetting the dragonet next to him.
He twined their tails and talons together.
"I'm so happy your alive."
Her scales looked awful, and her eyelids were burned badly, it was a miracle she could see.
"Hardly." said the dragonet. He gazed over at here, her eyes were a beautiful dark green, like emeralds hidden in the dark.
"This is Moonwatcher." Secretkeeper put her talon on Moonwatchers shoulder. "Our daughter."
Morrowseer looked over at her, he noticed the blacks and greys hinted in here scales, overlapped by the darker blues. The blues from Secretkeeper.
"But, our egg disappeared before it hatched...unless-"
"I hid her in the Rainforest. Morrowseer, she has great power we must not let anyone know." She pulled Moonwatcher closer to her.
"I can read minds, father." She smiled at him. "I'm finally happy to meet you, I just wished it wasn't in this situation."
Morrowseer felt his heart ache, he had a daughter! Who could read minds!
Morrowseer always hoped of one day to be a dad. Away from the volcano, of course. Before the volcano erupted and they created the prophecy, he wanted to stay with Secretkeeper all the time. He always told her he would be the best husband and father he could be.
Now he could, in the Rainforest, with fresh air, food, and no fear of dying every second. But- now that they were in the rainforest, the rainwings would control them.
But now he had Moonwatcher, the first mindreader in centuries! Her power could scare the dragonets, take the Rainforest, and become the powerful tribe they used to be.
"I kinda hoped not to do that.." said Moonwatcher disappointingly.
"Morrowseer, if you're thinking what I think you are, promise me not to do it." Secretkeeper lashed her tail. "We are in the Rainforest, and possible peace with the rainwings if we keep trying could benefit the tribe even more."
He sat quietly thinking of his choices. He could agree, be loyal– he hated to say that word about anyone but a nightwing, and become allies with Glory and rule the Rainforest peacefully together, Or Moon could take the throne herself, being the most powerful nightwing now, and leading a great tribe.
He seen Moonwatcher wince at that thought, and pulled her closer.
"Think about it Secretkeeper, once you're better our daughter can rule, who better to rule than the first mindreader in years?"
Secretkeeper curled in her tail and shivered, she spoke with hoarse words, "I'm not going to make it, Morrowseer."
The words struck his heart like a sandwing bard tail slashing his chest.
"Yes you are, your the strongest nightwing I know." He said fiercely, with a hint of struggle in his voice.
"Please just consider it, if Moon doesn't want to rule we could rule–Or maybe another nightwing fierce enough if that's not what you want."
"None of this is what I want." Her eyes filled with tears, "I want you to promise me not to do anything violent to the rainwings, or to take the Rainforest by force, when I'm gone."
She tucked her wings over her head hide and tried to hide her tears but her whimpers flowed through the air stabbing Morrowseer's heart.
He wanted to hold her, but he didn't know if that would hurt her worse. He loved her so much it hurt.
He layed his wings onto her back, "very well," he said, "I promise.
Moon took him out of the room, and sat on the pavilion next to him.
She held her breath for a few minutes before she spat. "She's not going to make it."
He could see the lump in her throat that she tried to hold back, but he knew she was right.
"But there's still a little hope." He watched cheerful rainwings play in the mud and pick berries with each other.
Watch them play while my love dies and my tribe turns weak, just like THEM.
"Some of them are strong, they've just been disconnected from the world for so long, they don't know what the true world is, but that's going to change. Because of Queen Glory." Moon answered his thoughts, "I know you hate them but it's not their fault you had to live on that volcano."
Flashes of the towering volcano as it exploded behind him entered his mind, he tried to push them down.
"We were so desperate," he said, "there were fewer dragonets each year, our tribe wasn't going to make it."
"I understand, thats why mother kept me here." She leaned onto his side. "And now I have these power I didn't want, and I don't know how to control them."
Morrowseer pulled a wing to her side, and held her. "That's why I am going to be the best father a dragonet could ever have." He said determinedly.
"Dad?" Moonwatcher asked, "Will you keep my powers a secret?"
His eyes darted amongst the greenery around them.
"Of course, Moon."

Disaster Movie Ideas
I wanted to write this list of disaster movie ideas.
A computer-controlled train departs from the bustling city. However, the speed control malfunctions and increases to the horrific 2-miles-per-minute. The locomotive is unexpectedly decoupled from the rail cars, and he derailed, albeit ones leaving the loco.
A car with unfinished brakes goes runaway.
A cruise ship sinks with uncontrolled flooding during his maiden voyage.
An aerial tramway leaves passengers trapped after he breaks down.
Action-packed events happens even the tsunami hits somewhere in the American Northeast.
A hurricane hits Florida.
A flooding happens in a suburban town.
A bus with non-functioning brakes goes runaway, and everyone onboard jump from the door.
A high-rise tower catches fire in London.
An earthquake hits Seattle.
A series of tornadoes hit Michigan.
An emergency evacuation is prompted in Hawaii before alarming eruptions from the volcanoes.
A metro train goes runaway.
Everyone survives a plane crash.
An elevator awaits to fall.

I know everyone is concerned with Maui right now, which is incredibly important and necessary. But I also want to bring some attention to the burning of my island, Tenerife, that is happening right now.
You may not recognise it by name, but I'm sure you recognise the Canary Islands, and Tenerife is one of 8 that make them up. A huge provoked wildfire started Wednesday the 16th, and today (Saturday 19th) it keeps expanding and getting worse. 70km of land have been lost. Land that people live from, land that is our main source of water, land where people lived.
There's no dead thankfully, evacuations were carried out quickly and efficiently, but the fire is completely out of control. After 4 days it only keeps getting worse, so many places that I know, that I go to even weekly have disappeared. There's not enough workers or planes aiding in the fire, even with the aid of all other islands, since there's only so many of these resources they can provide. Of course more is being provided from the mainland of Spain, but it's still not enough, and they take too long to come here.
So many people have lost their houses and their lives work, and barely no one knows anything about it.
What's worse is, that as it often happens here, the outsider noise it IS getting from *tourists*. Tourists asking if they can still come to the island, tourists worried that they're favourite little vacation spot isn't safe. People live here, they're not your fucking touristic playground. When the Volcano of La Palma (one of the other islands) erupted only a year ago, and thousands were affected by the tragedy, tourists came to visit it as an attraction. And the news it got outside was from the US who were worried the eruption could cause a tsunami that would reach *them*.
I'm not asking for money or resources, there's nothing I could do with those, but I do ask for some spreading of information, specially so people start to understand that the Canary Islands aren't just your vacation hotspot. These islands are the home to millions of people, who need this land, who need its water and its resources.
Much like the people feel Hawai'i I urge you to not come to Tenerife at this time, don't cram its hotels that suck our water resource than we need now more than ever, don't cram its roads that people need to flee their homes or get resources.
If you've gotten this far, thank you.

Background: Trapped in the illegal fox trade, Chiaki grew up resentful of those who poached and traded foxes. After escaping the crate she was locked in due to a fire, she kept herself hidden and fed on the leftovers of corpses to conserve energy that would have been spent on hunting
At 69 years old, she encountered an injured Hisui near where she was hiding. Out of fear that the raijū's presence will alert humans to her hiding spot, she reluctantly brought them back to where she was hiding and nursed them back to health. During this period, they interacted with each other, with Chiaki learning about the tengu-raijū conflict and Hisui learning about illegal fox trades
Eventually, the raijū fully recovered which prompted her to chase them out out her hiding spot before seeking out a new one, fearing that humans were starting to grow suspicious to why their medical supplies were dwindling. At 100 years old, an earthquake devastated South Asanoku, with Chiaki surviving and gaining an extra tail in the process
With the extra tail, Chiaki was granted a small amount of powers that a nine tailed fox spirit would possess. This made it slightly easier for her to survive, especially since she had gained new, albeit limited control over fire. She decided to travel to Central Asanoku and initially settled down there, however a volcano eruption that engulfed 90 percent of Central Asanoku in lava when she turned 200 reversed her decision
Solidifying her decision to return to South Asanoku was the residents of the central region discovering her presence around the time of the eruption and immediately sought to kill her for supposedly bringing destruction to them. Chiaki quickly realised that every century, she would have to face a catastrophe if she wanted to gain additional tails. Therefore, she decided to subject the southern region to the disasters as revenge for putting her through the illegal fox trade in the past
At 380 years old, she had encountered Hisui in an abandoned residence, the latter wanting to settle down 'on land' so as to integrate into human society. Confused by the raijū's decision, as well as worried for them, she proposed that they help each other out when their lives are in danger, with Hisui accepting a tad too happily for her liking
After subjecting the south to a tsunami and yet another earthquake, the residents finally realised that the reason to why they were subjected to calamities every century was due to Chiaki's presence. This forced the fox spirit to flee, while Hisui caused a distraction for her to escape. Two years after the earthquake, she was forcefully invited into the residence of a famed swordsmith by said person
Afraid that the swordsmith was about to kill her, she threatened to set his residence ablaze, keenly aware that she would alert the residents her presence in the process. What truly shocked her was that not only did the swordsmith wish to hide her, he wanted her to stay with her. Chiaki didn't believe that he wanted 'companionship' as he so explained, but stayed with him nonetheless. Hisui eventually joined her once the residents stopped looking for them, which the swordsmith welcomed
Under the swordsmith's roof, she learnt that his family had all passed years ago from varying reasons, none of which were due to Chiaki's causing. The fox spirit also learnt that she had a striking resemblance to his late daughter, save for the hair and eye colours. For the first time in centuries, she felt sympathy towards a human and decided to actually stay with him until the end of his life instead of escaping in the middle of the night, even going as far as to accept a bracelet gifted by him
On 26 Tierna 1503, she was sent out by the swordsmith as he wanted to prepare a surprise for her birthday. Amused by the swordsmith for celebrating her birthday seriously even after 38 years, Chiaki decided to humour him by obliging his request and to enter the forest to pick edible mushrooms, something which she knew he liked
What she didn't expect to see when she returned was the swordsmith adorned all across the walls, along with a threatening message written in blood about how the swordsmith deserved death for being a traitor towards Asanoku, which had a human majority, by hiding Chiaki. Realisation then dawned on her that humans would easily turn on a fellow human if they didn't share the same beliefs as the majority, and in a fit of vengeance, she sought out the murderers to exact revenge
With the murderers dead, she decided to eliminate the illegal fox trade by indiscriminately murdering all fox poachers. Hisui tried to persuade her to spare those who had to feed their families, but the latter refused on the account that her kind had to be sacrificed for human survival. A year after successfully murdering 85 percent of the known fox poachers, she decided to turn to mass killing the Southern Asanokians after learning from Hisui that they wanted her head
With two natural disasters threatening to wipe out both Chiaki and the residents, the Southern Asanokians formed an alliance with Western and Central Asanokians to hunt the fox spirit down. While against the mass killing of humans, the raijū sided with the fox spirit and helped in defending themselves. Eventually when Chiaki was 722 years old, most humans gave up hunting Chiaki, and by extension Hisui, though Chiaki's distaste towards humanity refused to budge
On a rainy day five years later, Hayato appeared in the residence that they were living in. The fox spirit, aware that humans respected tengus, was wary towards him, but didn't show it in order to get Hayato to lower his guard. Hisui, on the other hand, was curious that the tengu was alone and that he showed no hostility towards the raijū, to which both species have an unspoken hostility towards each other. With this in mind, the raijū persuaded Chiaki to let the tengu stay with them until the rain let up, the latter reluctantly agreeing
As agreed, Hayato left them once the rain stopped. Hisui then expressed concern for the tengu, explaining that she had heard that North Asanoku, which is where tengus and raijūs were able to co-exist albeit uneasily, were starting to express anti-sentiments towards each other. Amused by the conflict, Chiaki offhandedly commented that both species were acting like the humans that they both saw as lower beings
In 1728, the Tengu-Raijū War broke out and news reached the fox spirit, who asked Hisui if they were planning to participate. The latter said that they were enlisted, but refused to do so and even retaliated by eliminating key figures. Chiaki was surprised to hear that raijūs could be killed, and assumed that they were immortal due to being made of lightning. Throughout the war, they monitored news about it as Hisui feared that the war might spill over to the humans, who would then resume the hunt for Chiaki
Two months after Chiaki's 785th birthday, news that a peace treaty that would end the war was announced but before it could be signed, Hayato was betrayed and shortly left for dead after a misunderstanding from the raijūs. This prompted Hisui, who was secretly in attendance to witness the treaty being signed, to save the tengu and bringing him back to their residence, where this time, the fox spirit was much open in letting him seek refuge out of sympathy of witnessing betrayal from someone of the same species
Eventually, the Tengu-Raijū War ended only for the Asanokian Civil War to surface. This took the fox spirit by surprise as she had wrongly assumed that the residents had backed away from her out of fear, when in actual fact, the human Asanokians were allying themselves so as gather enough numbers to overwhelm the fox spirit, and by extension the raijū given their loyalty towards her. The war allowed Chiaki to indiscriminately kill the humans, though by that point she wasn't entirely sure if she was killing them because of the war itself, or because of her hatred towards humanity. Either way, she didn’t care and took joy in doing so, much to Hisui’s dismay
The civil war also resulted in calls for all non-humans to be eradicated, spurring Hayato to negotiate peace between all sides but failed. In order to protect Hisui, she offered her life in exchange for the non-humans' freedom. The humans agreed to the offer, declaring that the fox spirit would be executed once Asanoku had stabilised and thus bringing the civil war to an end in 1810
Due to the instability the war had caused, mainly due to her destructive actions, she was in jail for decades. She was aware that the humans deliberately kept her in a cage-like cell to remind her that she was supposed to be sold into slavery as planned, fuelling her resentment towards them
The only source of entertainment was Ragnar, who kept trying to interact with her despite the latter not wanting to do so. Nonetheless, she was intrigued by the guitar he kept playing to fill the silence and was mildly disappointed to hear that he had been released, though ultimately relieved that she didn't have to keep on pretending that she didn't understand him
In Dia'ae 1900, her execution date was announced to be on 27 Itis that very same year. Not wanting Hisui to experience what she had gone through centuries ago, she plotted to escape the country and seek asylum somewhere that had no relations with Asanoku at all. On the execution day itself, she was able to successfully escape by murdering her executioners as a distraction and promptly fled to Xhing'Tien, where she spent 63 years planning her escape to Roxanza
She was eventually discovered by the Xhing'Tienese near a cataclysmic landslide, something which didn't often happen. This forced her to flee onto a ship nearby, which brought her to East Wulfenz. Immediately, she sought refuge at the hotel with the intent on murdering anyone who planned to send her back to Asanoku. She was greeted by Hana, who explained that she was fully aware who the fox spirit was. The dullahan then proposed that the hotel would take her in on the condition that she worked for them, and rejecting the proposal would result in the employees doing their best to make Chiaki's likely escape troublesome
With no other options, the fox spirit reluctantly accepted the proposal, aware that the employees were significantly much more capable than humans and there was a very real chance of them overwhelming her. Once the proposal was inked and signed, Chiaki was assigned to the front desk where she's constantly tortured. Or so she claims...
