#True Treadmill Repair
Note
So B&B au, what kind of jobs do you see Dai having?
Personally I saw him as a clock maker at first (Its actually one of the changes I kinda liked in the movie) but I also see a lot of people maybe not buying from him right away for some reason. Maybe his clocks are TOO nice and it scares the town, kinda borderline witch craft, so I see him doing a lot of manual labour jobs instead to keep up with the bills. Gardening, helping the farmers, minor repairs with buildings, fixing broken down wagons, and although it's hard work outside his field at a lower pay... I can see Dai kinda liking it and taking the opportunity to embrace new skills and eventually start utilizing them as he becomes an inventor!
Where he invents many ground breaking things like the treadmill! Protein Supplements! The leg press!, and his true masterpiece: spandex!!!
Gai is happy to test his papa's inventions and as a result, gets buff!
(Sadly the inventions don't help the witch allegations.)
I like the idea of Dai doing odd’s and ends jobs cuz it matches what he does in cannon. Whatever job will get him some money to feed his son will be good enough
But also him being an inventor is a fun idea because it fits the maurice role perfectly, but instead of Gai also being an inventor it’s something that Dai bonds with Kakashi over.
Kakashi’s a smart, innovative boy. He would love learning about things and helping Dai build things. Gai walks into the castle one day after the curse is broken to find his Prince and his father elbows deep into a new invention looking happier than they ever have before and he knows instantly that he chose the right one.
But this love of inventions doesn’t work so well in the village. The village was just starting to think about bringing in new ideas from the bigger cities when the king died suddenly, and then their memories were wiped so they just forgot that was something they wanted to do and stuck to their old ways
I can see the village economy taking off agter the curse breaks, sort of like how Konoha grows into an economic giant with Kakashi as Hokage. He leads them into growth and with people like Dai and other’s who get into inventing they begin creating new objects and bringing in buisness for this tiny town

Innovative Rental Solutions?
Tumblr media
As the coronavirus pandemic swept across the globe, businesses of all types faced unprecedented challenges. Health clubs, in particular, were hit hard due to the necessity of maintaining social distancing, leading to widespread closures. Many of these establishments experienced significant financial losses, and some are at risk of never reopening. However, a number of businesses have turned to innovative solutions to maintain connections with their customers and generate revenue. A key asset they all possess is a variety of workout equipment, from treadmills and stationary bikes to weights, now sitting unused.
A Creative Approach to Equipment Rental
Julie Guttormson, the owner of a fitness center in Wyoming, exemplifies this creative approach. Recognizing the need for her customers to continue their exercise routines during stay-at-home orders, Julie decided to rent out her workout equipment to them. This not only provided a solution for her clients who didn't want to purchase expensive equipment but also generated revenue for her business. Within two weeks, 70% of her equipment was rented out, with a waiting list for the more popular items. Julie further extended her offerings by providing online classes for the renters, creating a win-win situation for everyone involved.
The Bigger Picture: Economic Impact and Adaptation
The broader economic impact of the pandemic has been severe. S&P Global Ratings forecasted a steep global recession with a 2.4% reduction in global GDP in 2020. This economic contraction and the reduction in capital expenditures by key markets have curtailed the demand for new equipment. Consequently, many companies are now exploring equipment rental software as a viable alternative to selling big-ticket items.
Building a Successful Rental Business
For companies considering adding rentals to their product offerings, the question is: how do you build and manage a successful rental business? There are numerous factors to consider when managing a fleet of rental assets. It’s crucial to have the right resources to maintain this fleet effectively to maximize profits. Partnering with an expert who understands the complexities and has the tools to manage these demands can be invaluable.
NetScore’s Rental Management Solution
NetScore’s equipment rental management software provides NetSuite users with the tools needed to manage the entire rental process efficiently. Our team of experts has assisted numerous companies in establishing and managing their rental businesses effectively.
Building a Rental Asset Pool: The first step is to create a dedicated warehouse for rental assets, either physical or virtual. This helps manage the rental and return process separately from saleable assets and allows for depreciation of these assets if desired.
Scheduling and Reserving Equipment: Effective rental management involves scheduling tools that allow for viewing rental requests and reserving assets, which is crucial for demand planning. Taking deposits against reservations ensures customer commitment and helps manage equipment that requires periodic maintenance.
Managing Long-Term Rentals: For long-term rentals, it’s essential to be prepared for equipment failure, routine maintenance, and replacements. The ability to swap out equipment during rentals and update contracts accordingly is a necessary complexity.
Maintenance and Cost Tracking: Maintaining equipment and capturing maintenance costs provide a true picture of the profit generated by rental assets. Keeping detailed maintenance records, repair costs, and preventive maintenance schedules is especially important for equipment that requires calibration or certification, such as medical devices.
Automated Billing: Managing billing for long-term rental contracts can be complex, requiring the generation of invoices on a schedule. An automated billing engine simplifies this process by generating invoices, applying discounts, and ensuring accurate financial tracking.
Accounting for Rentals: Proper revenue recognition, cost capture, and asset depreciation are essential for rental businesses. NetScore’s solution integrates these accounting needs with netsuite asset management, providing a comprehensive solution.
Conclusion
Managing a rental business involves numerous considerations, but with the right expertise and tools, it can be a highly profitable endeavor. If you're considering expanding your business model to include equipment rentals, reach out to a NetScore Account Executive to get started. Our team of experts and our robust software solution will help ensure your rental business delivers the desired results.

Gym Liquidation Sales: How To Spot Quality Equipment
Shopping for gym equipment during liquidation sales can be a goldmine for fitness enthusiasts looking to build their home gym or upgrade their current setup. However, amidst the chaos of discounts and deals, it's crucial to discern between high-quality equipment and items that may not withstand the test of time. Here are some key tips to help you spot quality equipment during gym liquidation sales:
1. Inspect the Build Quality: Take a close look at the construction of the equipment. Quality gym equipment is usually made from durable materials such as steel or aluminum. Check for signs of wear and tear, rust, or damage. Ensure that the frames are sturdy and free from any cracks or bends.
2. Test Functionality: Don't hesitate to test the equipment if possible. For treadmills, ellipticals, or exercise bikes, hop on and see how they feel. Do they operate smoothly? Are there any unusual noises or vibrations? For weight machines, check if all the components move freely and if the resistance settings work properly.
3. Check for Brand Reputation: While not all reputable brands produce top-notch equipment, it's generally a good indicator of quality. Look for well-known brands with a history of producing reliable gym equipment. Research online reviews and customer feedback to gauge the reputation of the brand and specific models.
4. Examine Wear Parts: Pay special attention to parts of the equipment that are prone to wear, such as belts, cables, and upholstery. Are they in good condition, or do they show signs of excessive wear? Replacement parts can be expensive, so it's essential to factor in the cost of repairs or replacements when assessing the overall value.
5. Look for Adjustable Features: Quality gym equipment often comes with adjustable features to accommodate different body types and workout preferences. Check if the equipment allows for adjustments in resistance, incline, seat position, and handlebar height. Versatility is key to maximizing the usefulness of the equipment over time.
6. Consider Warranty Coverage: Even during liquidation sales, some equipment may still come with warranties. Review the warranty terms and conditions to understand what is covered and for how long. A solid warranty can provide peace of mind and protection against potential defects or malfunctions.
7. Ask About Maintenance History: Inquire about the maintenance history of the equipment. Has it been regularly serviced and cared for? Equipment that has been well-maintained is more likely to be in good working condition and less prone to unexpected breakdowns.
8. Assess Safety Features: Safety should always be a priority when selecting gym equipment. Check for safety features such as emergency stop buttons, safety locks, and adjustable safety bars on weight machines. Ensure that the equipment meets safety standards and guidelines to minimize the risk of injuries during workouts.
9. Compare Prices: While the allure of discounted prices can be tempting, don't forget to compare prices with similar equipment elsewhere. Sometimes, liquidation sales may not offer the best deal, especially if the equipment is heavily worn or outdated. Do your research and be prepared to walk away if the price doesn't align with the quality of the equipment.
10. Trust Your Instincts: Finally, trust your instincts when assessing the quality of gym equipment. If something doesn't feel right or seems too good to be true, it's better to err on the side of caution. Take your time to evaluate each piece thoroughly before making a purchase decision.
By following these tips, you can navigate gym liquidation sales with confidence and secure high-quality equipment that will enhance your fitness journey for years to come.

Maximizing Gym Benefits: A Holistic Approach to Fitness
Introduction: In today's fast-paced world, maintaining physical fitness is essential for overall well-being. Gyms serve as sanctuaries where individuals strive to enhance their health, build strength, and foster mental resilience. However, merely stepping into a gym isn't enough to guarantee optimal results. To truly harness the benefits of gym culture, one must adopt a holistic approach that encompasses various facets of fitness. In this article, we delve into the multifaceted aspects of gym usage, exploring physical, mental, and social dimensions to maximize the benefits of your gym experience.
Evolution of Gym Culture:
Traditional gyms were often characterized by rows of weightlifting machines, treadmills, and mirrored walls, catering primarily to bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts. However, as societal attitudes toward health and wellness have shifted, so too have the expectations placed on gyms. Today's fitness enthusiasts seek more than just a place to sweat; they crave holistic experiences that address their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
In response, gyms have undergone a radical transformation, embracing innovation and diversifying their offerings to meet the evolving needs of their members. From boutique fitness studios specializing in high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to wellness centers offering yoga, meditation, and spa services, the modern gym landscape is as diverse as it is dynamic
Physical Fitness: At its core, the gym is a temple of physical transformation. Whether your goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, or improve cardiovascular health, structured exercise regimens play a pivotal role. Strength training, cardiovascular workouts, and flexibility exercises form the cornerstone of a well-rounded fitness routine.
Strength training, encompassing exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses, stimulates muscle growth, enhances bone density, and boosts metabolism. Through progressive overload, where you gradually increase resistance over time, strength gains become tangible, empowering individuals to surpass their previous limits.
Cardiovascular exercises, such as running, cycling, or rowing, elevate heart rate, improve endurance, and torch calories. Engaging in regular cardio sessions not only aids in weight management but also enhances overall cardiovascular health, reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.
Moreover, flexibility exercises like yoga or Pilates promote joint mobility, alleviate muscular tension, and enhance posture. Incorporating these into your routine not only prevents injuries but also fosters a sense of relaxation and well-being.
Nutrition: In the realm of fitness, exercise is only half the battle; nutrition forms the other critical component. The adage "you are what you eat" rings true in the gym environment. Fueling your body with nutrient-dense foods provides the energy and resources necessary for optimal performance and recovery.
Proper nutrition entails striking a balance between macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) and micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). Carbohydrates serve as the body's primary energy source; proteins aid in muscle repair and growth; and healthy fats support hormone production and cellular function.
Meal timing also plays a crucial role in maximizing gym benefits. Consuming a balanced meal containing both carbohydrates and proteins before a workout provides the necessary energy and amino acids to fuel and repair muscles. Post-workout nutrition is equally vital, replenishing glycogen stores and facilitating muscle recovery.
Hydration: Amidst the grind of gym sessions, hydration often takes a backseat. However, maintaining optimal fluid balance is imperative for peak performance and overall health. Water regulates body temperature, lubricates joints, and aids in nutrient transport and waste removal.
Lack of proper hydration can hinder both physical and cognitive abilities, resulting in reduced exercise performance and a heightened risk of injury. Thus, it's essential to sip water throughout the day, especially before, during, and after workouts. Electrolyte-rich beverages, such as sports drinks or coconut water, can also help replenish electrolytes lost through sweat during intense exercise sessions.
Rest and Recovery: In the pursuit of fitness goals, rest and recovery are often overlooked but are equally as important as exercise itself. Continuous exertion without adequate recovery can lead to overtraining, fatigue, and increased susceptibility to injury.
Quality sleep plays a pivotal role in the body's repair and regeneration processes. During sleep, the body releases growth hormone, facilitating muscle repair and growth. Strive to achieve 7-9 hours of undisturbed sleep each night to enhance both recovery and performance.
In addition to sleep, incorporating rest days into your workout schedule allows muscles to repair and rebuild. Active recovery activities like walking, swimming, or gentle yoga can promote blood flow and alleviate muscle soreness without placing additional stress on the body.
Mental Health: Beyond physical gains, the gym offers profound benefits for mental health and well-being. Exercise has been shown to alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress by triggering the release of endorphins, neurotransmitters responsible for feelings of euphoria and relaxation.
Moreover, the gym provides a sense of community and belongingness, fostering social connections that are essential for mental health. Whether through group fitness classes, personal training sessions, or casual conversations with fellow gym-goers, the camaraderie found in gym environments can boost morale and motivation.
Setting and achieving fitness goals also enhances self-esteem and confidence, empowering individuals to overcome obstacles both inside and outside the gym. Celebrating progress, whether it's lifting heavier weights, running faster, or mastering a new yoga pose, reinforces a positive mindset and cultivates resilience in the face of challenges.
In the fast-paced digital era, the fitness industry has undergone a remarkable transformation. Gyms, once traditional spaces solely dedicated to weightlifting and cardio, have now evolved into multifaceted wellness hubs integrating technology, personalization, and community engagement. This article delves into the profound changes shaping the modern gym landscape, exploring how these establishments are adapting to meet the diverse needs and preferences of today's health-conscious consumers.
The Rise of Fitness Technology: Technology has become an integral part of the fitness experience, revolutionizing how people exercise, track progress, and connect with others. From wearable fitness trackers to immersive virtual reality workouts, advancements in technology have empowered gym goers to personalize their fitness routines like never before. For instance, smart gym equipment equipped with sensors and AI algorithms can provide real-time feedback on form and performance, enhancing the effectiveness of workouts while minimizing the risk of injury.
Moreover, mobile apps and digital platforms have emerged as indispensable tools for gym members, offering features such as workout scheduling, nutrition tracking, and social networking. These digital solutions not only streamline the fitness journey but also foster a sense of community among users, enabling them to share achievements, participate in challenges, and seek support from peers and coaches.
Personalized Training Programs: In the past, gym-goers often followed generic workout routines that lacked personalization and specificity. However, with advances in data analytics and machine learning, gyms are now able to offer tailored training programs tailored to individual goals, preferences, and fitness levels. Through comprehensive assessments and consultations, certified trainers leverage data insights to design personalized workouts, adjust intensity levels, and provide ongoing guidance and support.
Furthermore, the integration of biometric tracking devices and health monitors allows trainers to monitor clients' progress remotely, enabling timely adjustments and optimizations. By adopting a personalized approach to fitness, gyms can maximize member satisfaction, retention, and results, ultimately fostering a culture of continuous improvement and achievement.
The Wellness Revolution: Beyond physical fitness, today's gym-goers are increasingly prioritizing holistic wellness encompassing mental, emotional, and social well-being. Recognizing this shift, gyms are expanding their offerings to include a diverse array of wellness services, such as yoga, meditation, mindfulness workshops, and nutritional counseling. These holistic programs not only complement traditional exercise routines but also address the broader needs of members seeking balance and fulfillment in their lives.
Moreover, gyms are partnering with health professionals, therapists, and wellness experts to provide integrated care and support for issues such as stress management, sleep quality, and nutrition education. By embracing a holistic approach to wellness, gyms can differentiate themselves in a competitive market while empowering members to achieve optimal health and vitality.
Community Engagement and Social Impact: In an age of social isolation and digital disconnect, gyms have emerged as vibrant community hubs where like-minded individuals come together to pursue their fitness goals and forge meaningful connections. Group fitness classes, team challenges, and social events create opportunities for camaraderie, accountability, and mutual encouragement, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity among members.
Furthermore, many gyms are leveraging their platform to drive positive social impact by supporting local charities, organizing community outreach programs, and promoting environmental sustainability initiatives. By aligning their values with those of their members and the broader community, gyms can become catalysts for positive change, inspiring individuals to not only transform their bodies but also additionally, by making a positive impact on the world around them, gyms can contribute to creating a better society and environment.
.
Conclusion: In the bustling world of fitness, the gym stands as a beacon of opportunity for individuals seeking to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By adopting a holistic approach that encompasses exercise, nutrition, hydration, rest, and mental health, one can maximize the benefits of their gym experience.
Remember, fitness is not a destination but a journey—a journey marked by progress, setbacks, and personal growth. Embrace the process, listen to your body, and celebrate the small victories along the way. With dedication, consistency, and a commitment to holistic health, the gym can serve as a transformative space where individuals flourish and thrive.
The modern gym represents far more than a mere venue for physical exercise—it is a dynamic ecosystem that integrates technology, personalization, wellness, and community engagement to empower individuals on their journey toward optimal health and vitality. By embracing innovation and embracing the evolving needs of their members, gyms can position themselves as indispensable allies in the pursuit of holistic well-being in the digital age.

Not counting the now full one I will need to find some way to get rid of. We now have a completely unusable treadmill that is less than 1 year old and our only course of action is to purchase a new one on AMAZON and they pay the $500 difference to get it shipped and delivered. Currently this treadmill base price is $400 higher than in July 2021. This does not factor in the taxes and delivery fees, or the $150 in amazon points and gift cards I used originally to lower the price. Come to find out, all that does is award an AMAZON gift card in the amount the treadmill originally was purchased. Luckily we had purchased the 2 year warranty provided through Asurion. Obviously this is not an item that can be repaired and requires replacement. Come to find the WELDS on both sides had completely broken off. At first we thought it was couple screws that had come loose. Yesterday the entire top of the treadmill that contains electronics came loose. It is kept inside and only used by one person. It has been used 1-2 times a week since that time. I purchased this treadmill in July 2021, was not taken out of the box or set up until February 2022 after our child wa s born. I researched treadmills for months with plans to buy a treadmill for my wife for her birthday, which had requested specifically since she was pregnant with our 2nd child at the time. If this machine holds up it was a stellar buy and I highly recommend it. I took off one star because the drink receptacles are slanted / tilted slightly forward which is annoying, I wish they were flat.

I hooked up to the bluetooth without issue but I have my own little bluetooth speaker that I prefer to use. I've been using it steadily now for over 2 weeks and It's a solid machine and very easy to use. When you hit the stop button it rolls to a nice slow stop, super nice. I am using this primarily for walking workouts and to get my step count up throughout the day. Walking with the incline is WORK, exactly what I needed. This is a true auto-incline and it's no joke. I was attracted to this model partly due to the good reviews and partly for the 15% incline feature. My husband put it together in 15 minutes, very easy and no trouble with screws or alignment as others have experienced. The delivery guys brought it straight into the house and workout room. There was a price drop and so I pulled the trigger. I had my eye on this treadmill for a couple of months along with two other more well-known brands. Questions to ask when scheduling maintenance for a treadmill
Tumblr media
If you are not experienced in mechanical or equipment repair, you must bring it to the store for assistance. In addition, it is not always easy to determine the appropriate questions to ask. The following are some guidelines to follow when talking to the treadmill service provider about issues that are fundamental but extremely important.
Charges levied for home visits
A treadmill is a substantial piece of equipment that is big and heavy. You probably want the repair to be done on-site rather than dealing with the hassle of transporting it to a shop, so you’re looking for someone who can come to you. Find out the specific steps that need to be taken to make an appointment and the fee required for someone to simply come to the house and perform True Treadmill repair work.

When should one look for the treadmill services?
When people are using a treadmill, they might not see the need of going for Treadmill service. This might be as a result of their ignorance or even others might be having good reasons as to why they are doing things the way they are doing them. This would mean that an individual has to be working hard to ensure that they are aware of what matters most to them. The only way through which an individual can ensure that things are going on as they had planned is by taking note of the periods when something has to be done. Some of such instances are:
After a certain period of time
It is important for a person to be very careful especially when it comes taking care of their treadmill. A large number of people will sit down and wait for the time the treadmill stops functioning. That is the time when they will start running up and down looking for treadmill repair service. This should not be the case because someone might start doing it when it is too late. What a person should do is to plan for periodic servicing of the machine so that they can continue enjoying high quality services from the machine. This might appear to be a simple task but some precautions have to be taken to ensure that all is well with an individual.
When the machine breaks down
There are some specific moments when an individual might see the need to go for True treadmill repair. This is the time when the machine stops functioning as it should function. This is a repair which should be initiated by need. In most cases people will be compelled to go for this service because if they ignore it then there are high chances work might not be done.
Tumblr media
It is advisable for a person to make sure that they have gone for this service immediately they realize that there is need for them to do such things. Undertaking this activity will ensure that an individual continues to enjoy the services they have been getting from the service provider.
When one wants to replace some parts
There are some occasions when an individual might not come to an interruption as a result of a machine which has stopped working. In such a case, a person might be anticipating that a certain part will fail soon. Or an individual might be anticipating for something to go wrong. In such an instance, there is need for a person to ensure that all things which are anticipated might come to pass. In such a case, an individual should go ahead and replace these parts and all shall be well with them. In such a case they will opt for weight machine repair which might come once in a blue moon.
Tumblr media
There is need for a person to make sure that all things have been done in the right manner and at the right pace so that all things shall be going on as expected. Weight machine repair has to be done in the most appropriate manner even if it implies that someone has to go for support from gymdoc.com.

"What can you achieve as a female lifter? There seem to be only 2 camps. The general public thinks a woman that touches a loaded barbell will wake up the next day as the SheHulk.
People with a bit more understanding of exercise physiology realize that this is obviously nonsense. One look around you in the average gym makes it clear that getting seriously big is difficult even for men. The statistic that women have ~15 times less testosterone than men is often quoted to explain that as a woman, you can’t grow much muscle anyway. So the common recommendation in today’s fitness circles is that women should train like men and should expect not to see much muscle growth.
The natural muscular potential of women
There is truth to this, but the causality runs in the opposite direction. Before I explain this, let’s first look at how the natural muscular potential of women compares to that of men. Percentage wise, how much muscle can a woman build compared to a man? Does it scale with testosterone so that women can build only ~7% as much muscle as men? Is it about half?
It’s 100%. Women gain the same percentage of muscle mass as men during strength training. In fact, women gain as much size and sometimes more strength than men [2]. The only difference is the starting point. Men start off with more muscle mass and more strength, but the relative increase in muscle size is the same between men and women.
Research on protein metabolism comes to the same conclusion. Women build just as much muscle protein after training and after meals as men. In fact, one study found that given the same level of muscle mass, women have a higher rate of muscle protein synthesis than men.
Women vs. men in elite sports
If you think this is all just silly theory from labcoats studying beginners, consider this. Elite, natural female athletes have 85% as much muscle as elite male athletes. The studied sports included Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. The 15% difference can easily be explained by 3 factors.
Women have a genetically higher body fat percentage. Women have ~12% essential body fat to regulate their hormones compared to just ~3% fat in men. And you know, boobs.
People have lower expectations of women, even most women themselves underestimate what they can achieve physically compared to men. In a famous study, simply telling people they were on steroids increased their strength gains by 321%. These were advanced trainees already benching and squatting over 300 pounds (137 kg) before taking the fake steroids. Moreover, the androgenic-anabolic steroid protocol in question was just 70 mg of Dianabol per week. Giving that same dosage of actual Dianabol to advanced trainees improves strength by only a few percent. So what do you think it does to women when you tell them they have 15 times less testosterone?
There are more men in sports, so at the elite level, the selection to get to the top level is stronger. Elite male athletes are likely the best the male race has to offer. For women there may be more potential world record holders that will never know it because they don’t try.
What about testosterone?
Within an individual, more testosterone means more muscle mass. There is little doubt about that. Between genders, however, the relation becomes much weaker. In their study of elite athletes, Healy et al. concluded that “The difference in lean body mass is sufficient to account for the observed differences in strength and aerobic performance seen between the sexes without the need to hypothesize that performance is in any way determined by the differences in testosterone levels.”
How can this be? Testosterone functions differently in men and women, as I explained in my BioSignature review. In animals we have a good understanding of why testosterone is not needed for muscle development in women. It seems growth factors like IGF-1 and growth hormone take over the anabolic role that testosterone has in men. Growth factors are more important for strength and muscle mass in women than in men. Since women have just as much IGF-1 as men and women produce ~3 times as much growth hormone as men, this explains in part why having less testosterone does not limit how much muscle they can build. To make matters more complex, the sex hormones and growth factors interact and all these hormones also interact with your genes.
In short, saying women have less potential to build muscle mass because they don’t have as much testosterone as men is shortsighted.
The other sex hormone
Not only is testosterone not the great savior, estrogen is not the bad guy. Most people, even women, shun estrogen as the evil hormone that makes you bloated and does all sorts of negative things. Although it’s rarely described what exactly the negative effects of estrogen are, most people agree nonetheless that’s it’s bad for your body composition. This is complete nonsense. In my article on hormones and fat loss I explained the positive effects estrogen has on abdominal fat storage, but estrogen does many more awesome things.
Estrogen aids in muscle repair.
Estrogen is anti-catabolic and prevents muscle loss.
Estrogen protects your joints, bones and tendons from injury.
Estrogen does not make you fat. On the contrary, estrogen increases your metabolism.
These aren’t a few obscure and irrelevant findings I’m dragging up to support my point. Hundreds of studies have demonstrated the anabolic effects of estrogen. Estrogen is also crucial for your health, but that’s another topic. In short, estrogen’s bad reputation is based on nothing more than the poor intuition that if testosterone is anabolic, estrogen must be catabolic.
Why women aren’t living up to their potential
Women have the same relative natural muscular potential as men. They even have several advantages over men. So why don’t we see more muscular women?
Women are underrepresented in sports and in the gym. Even at the Olympic level there are fewer female participants. It is even true in science. There are over 50% fewer female participants in scientific studies than men.
Even if women go to the gym, most of them spend their time on the treadmill or playing with pink dumbbells.
We don’t have the same expectations of women. If a man benches a lot, that’s taken as a sign of social dominance. If a woman benches a lot, she’s seen as a freak, people get worried and men feel their pride sting and shrivel. I’ve heard from many of the women I train they’re approached in the gym ‘not too lift that heavy’ when they bench more than a plate.
Many women use contraceptives that harm their strength training progression. Many birth control pills impair muscle growth by decreasing androgen activity, lowering growth factor levels and increasing cortisol levels. It is primarily the progestin content of the contraceptive that’s harmful, because this competes with testosterone for the androgen receptor.
Lastly, the women that do actually train seriously in spite of the stigma often train like men, which doesn’t align with their physiological strengths. Since women produce much more estrogen than men, this gives them several advantages over men in the gym. Women don’t fatigue as much as men and women recover faster after training. There are many more important gender differences in metabolism, anatomy, neurology and physiology: see this article a full review of why and how women should not train like men.
Conclusion
It’s time we stop treating women like second rate men. Women have just as much relative potential for muscle growth as men. It’s up to them if they want to fulfill that potential. If they do, they should realize they’re not men and train to their strengths.

Castiel + Feet of Clay’s Dorfl (Discworld) for @thenightwemetnatural #casbeedayparty
-The universe poured in. Dorfl felt the universe pick it up and bowl it over and then lift it off its feet and up… and now the golem was among the universe. It could feel it all around, the purr of it, the busyness, the spinning complexity of it, the roar… There were no Words between you and It. You belonged to It, It belonged to you. You couldn’t turn your back on It because there It was, in front of you. Dorfl was responsible for every tick and swerve of It. You couldn’t say, “I had orders.” You couldn’t say, “It’s not fair.” No one was listening. There were no Words. You owned yourself. Dorfl orbited a pair of glowing suns and hurtled off again. Not Thou Shalt Not. Say I Will Not.” + Castiel deciding to stand against an Archangel to help prevent triggering the apocalypse.
-“WORDS IN THE HEART CAN NOT BE TAKEN.” + Naomi telling Castiel he’s “the spanner in the works” and that she thinks he came off the line with a crack on his chassis.
-“Atheism Is Also A Religious Position”, Dorfl rumbled. “No it's not!" said Constable Visit. "Atheism is a denial of a god." "Therefore It Is A Religious Position," said Dorfl. "Indeed, A True Atheist Thinks Of The Gods Constantly, Albeit In Terms of Denial. Therefore, Atheism Is A Form Of Belief. If The Atheist Truly Did Not Believe, He Or She Would Not Bother To Deny.” + Castiel asking God for a sign that he’s doing the right thing in “The Man That Would Be King”, and stammering saying that if he doesn’t he’ll do what he must.
-”I Smashed The Treadmill But The Golems Repaired It. Why? And I Let The Animals Go But They Just Milled Around Stupidly. Some Of Them Even Went Back To The Slaughter Pens. Why?” “Welcome to the world, Constable Dorfl.” “Is It Frightening To Be Free?” “You said it.” “You Say To People ‘Throw Off Your Chains’ And They Make New Chains For Themselves?” “Seems to be a major human activity, yes.” + Castiel saying that returning to Heaven after the Apocalypse was surprisingly difficult, and that explaining freedom to angels is a bit “like teaching poetry to fish.”
-Dorfl rumbled as he thought about this. “Yes,” he said eventually. “I Can See Why. Freedom Is Like Having The Top Of Your Head Opened Up.” + Castiel line that “Freedom is a length of rope. God wants you to hang yourself with it.”

For the meet uglies, 41, Sternclay, NSFW?
Here you go! And if you're a fan on "Let me be good to you" this has very similar vibes.
41: I’m at the 24/7 gym at 2 in the morning and I thought I was alone so I’m singing in the showers, but when you start singing with me, I’m startled and slip so the first time we meet, we’re both wet and naked
Stern blames the playlist he had on at work for the fact his morning devolves into chaos. He works better to the blues (or 2000s pop hits, but those don’t feel right when going over files on suspicious incidents in Appalachia). So he hums as he rinses the remnants of his workout down the drain. He’d never sing where someone can hear, but since no one is here.
I want a little steam on my clothes
Maybe I could fix things up so they'll go
What's the matter daddy, come on, save my soul
He goes to rinse his hair and realizes the song is still going.
I need some sugar in my bowl, I ain't foolin'
I want some sugar in my bowl
His lizard brain yells two separate messages; “baritone voice very hot” and “oh god who’s there.”
The second message leaps into the driver seat and, in his attempt to turn, peer out of the stall, and be sure it’s just another patron, his foot finds the traces of soap on the floor.
“Shit” He falls backwards out of the stall, thudding to the floor.
“Oh fuck.” A man emerges two stalls to his left, soaking wet and flailing for a towel, “I’m so fucking sorry, I’m so used to singing along with the radio. Are you okay?”
Joseph scans his body, finds nothing broken, “Yes.”
“Thank god.” The other man flicks shaggy hair from his face. In the split second before he gets the towel around his waist, Joseph’s gym manners fail him and he glances down. At least he’s getting several weeks worth of masturbation fodder from this humiliating moment.
“Here man, lemme help you up.”
Joseph takes the offered hand, then grits his teeth and swiftly turns to grab his own towel from where he hung it. He’d rather not show a stranger his ass, but this is how his night is going. As he turns back, he spots the other man quickly redirecting his stare from his ass to the floor.
Once both showers are off, Joseph changes and packs his bag. The stranger is at the mirror, tying his hair back and combing his beard.
“I’m sorry, my singing probably startled you too.”
A shrug of broad shoulders, “I work in kitchens, I’m so used to background noise some of it barely registers. And I always have the radio on when it’s just me in the mornings.”
“Hence the singing along?”
“Yeah, and why I’m here so early. I try to get my exercise in before work. Gotta admit, when I joined this gym I didn’t expect anyone else would be in for a 2 a.m workout.”
“My hours are all over the place. I’m with the FBI and when I’m on a case I tend to, um, lose track of time. Or work way later than I should.” He shoulders his bag, raises his hand in a wave, “it was nice meeting you. Even it was alarming at first.”
“Same to you” the man smiles at him over his shoulders, “and if you’re ever here at zero dark thirty again and want a gym buddy, I’m happy to keep you company.”
--------------------------------------
It’s a month before Joseph runs into him again. He swipes his card at the gym, finds the clank of a weight rack in place of the usual silence. The man from the showers smiles at him as he puts his bag near medicine balls, and when he’s done with his set he crosses the 80s-colored carpet to join him.
“It’s much nicer to see you when I can see you coming.” Joseph smiles politely, not catching his own subtext until the other man blushes.
“No kidding. I, uh, this may sound weird, but could I work-out with you? I’ve been doing the same routine for years because it’s what I know, but it gets so fucking boring.”
“I wouldn’t mind the company, though be warned that I do a lot of core and don’t use the machines all that much.”
“Totally fine. I’m, uh, I’m Barclay, by the way.” He holds out his hand and Joseph pictures twisting it behind his back while pinning him over one of the benches.
Instead, he shakes it, “Joseph.”
-----------------------------------------
“I’m serious about skipping this if you need to” Joseph starts up the treadmill as Barclay jogs on the one beside him, “if you’re on your feet all day at work this could make that really uncomfortable.”
“Nah, I’ll be fine.”
It’s the truth; he may not be as in-shape as Joseph, but he’s still pretty fit, and they only do thirty minutes of running. But it’s equally true that he’d rather suffer some extra-sore legs than lose out on a half-hour of his limited time with his friend.
He’d been hoping for someone to spot him and maybe teach him some new lower body exercises, with the added bonus of having some basic things (like music taste and bonkers work schedules) in common. What he’s gotten is someone with a dorky sense of humor, and extensive knowledge of cryptozoology and mystery novels, and the stamina to make engaging conversation about those things while running or working a rowing machine.
It helps that Joseph is so hot that he could caramelize sugar just by looking at it. The glimpses he caught of him when they met were tantalizing; the way his dark hair gradually loosens from it’s gelled state, the way his cheeks turn pink when flushed and sweating, the few times his voice turns truly breathless? Barclay is ready to get on his knees and beg for him to do obscene things in the locker rooms.
What makes this desire impossible to shake is the suspicion that it’s shared. He’s caught Joseph looking at him in a way that isn’t just about his form, and when he shows Barclay a new exercise he stands closer and lingers longer than strictly necessary. And his Freudian slips are so frequent and obvious they may as well be Freudian nightgowns.
Just when he thinks Joseph can’t get any hotter, the agent texts him around their three month mark of working out together warning that he’ll be late. When he arrives, Barclay drops the five pound plate he was moving.
Joseph hasn’t changed clothes. He’s in a full, black suit, shined shoes, and a silver and blue tie that Joseph wants him to take off and loop around Barclays throat instead. The agent smiles with a promise to be right back, seems bemused when he returns to find Barclay in the exact spot and position he left him.
“You okay, big guy?” The nickname is one of the many ways he built a home for himself in Barclays daydreams.
“Uh. Uh, yeah, sorry, got lost in thought. I haven’t started on the full workout, did some extra stretching since I’m kinda tight from yesterday. You wanna do weights first?”
“Sure.”
Their routine lasts about an hour. It’s an act of god that Barclay gets through it unscathed. Joseph is even more hands-on than usual, and his cologne (bergamot and citrus, if Barclay has his scents right) hasn’t had a chance to fade. The most distracting element of the whole morning is his friend’s voice; there’s an edge to it, like a knife in a velvet sheath, and Joseph gives fewer suggestions and more orders.
Barclay wants him to sound like this forever. But only if he can rearrange his life so that he can follow every command.
After a very cold shower, he falls in next to Joseph as they push through the double doors into the warm night. When he reaches his car, the other man touches his cheek.
“Drive safe, big guy.”
He wonders if Joseph can feel him blush in the dark, “I will, agent. I promise.”
-----------------------------------------
“I told them to get those dark spots checked” Joseph shakes his head at the notice on the door informing them the gym will be closed for the next two weeks to repair massive water damage in the ceiling.
“I’m just bummed I won’t get to work out with you. It’s not as fun alone in my apartment.”
“You could come over to mine, if we can find a time where it works.”
“I’d love to.”
Barclay double checks that the address on the apartment in front of him matches the one Joseph sent, while trying not to fixate on the text that came with it.
Joseph: Be ready, big guy, I’m going to work you hard
He knocks on the designated door, pushes it open when Joseph calls for him to come in. There’s a yoga mat on the floor and a stationary bike in the corner, and far too little space for two grown men to work out together.
“Do you want me to help move the couch? That might give us...more...room.”
Joseph, in his full suit and dress shoes, leans against the kitchen doorway with a confident smile.
“Y-you’re not working out with me, are you?” Barclay’s hopes hurry to the front of his brain, tripping up his tongue.
“No. I did mine earlier today.” He runs a finger along Barclay’s chest, “I designed a special one, just for you. If you get through it all, you get a reward.”
“What kind?”
Joseph leans in to kiss him softly and swiftly, “I’ll let you fuck me.”
Barclay’s hands fly out to grips his shoulders as he groans, “fuck, babe, really?”
“Really. But first, you have to pick two things from this list.” He hands Barclay a sheet of memo paper with a neatly written list of the lewdest exercises he’s ever seen. He’d offer to do all of them, but then he might not have enough energy to enjoy his reward.
“The, uh, the push ups and the crunches.”
Joseph raises an eyebrow expectantly.
“Please?”
“Okay, big guy, we’ll do those. Get on the mat, push up position.”
Barclay hurriedly obeys. Freshly shined shoes step onto the top edge of the mat.
“We’ll just do thirty today. I’ll count. Ready?”
He nods.
“Good boy. Down, one”
Barclay bends his elbows, only stopping when his lips touch the top of Joseph’s shoes. He holds there a two-count, then rises.
“Down, two.”
He repeats the motion, keeps time with Joseph’s count as a hint of polish curls into his nose. It should be boring, maybe even degrading, but fuck him if it isn’t the hottest fucking thing he’s done in years. Joseph is so put together, so poised, Barclay feels like an unkempt beast next to him in his gym clothes. Yet he’s letting him kiss his lovingly shined shoes, telling him he’s a good boy as he works up a sweat.
“Down, thirty.” Joseph joins him on the floor as Barclay sits back on his heels, “well done. Now, on your back please.”
Barclay lays down. Joseph grabs a silver item from the side table and holds it in front of him. It takes his lust-glazed brain a second to grasp it’s a cock cage.
“Can I put this on you? You’ll have to wear it the rest of the workout.”
“Ohfuckplease.”
Joseph leans forward enough to kiss his chest, then shifts his shorts down to his thighs and locks the cage into place.
“If you need to stop, just say red. Okay?”
He nods frantically.
“Okay?” Joseph repeats with a stern look.
“Okay.”
“Good boy.” Joseph lifts his legs and sets them over his left shoulder. Barclay whimpers as there’s a snap of a latex glove and a pop of lube. Joseph smirks as Barclay whines at his teasing touches.
“Two sets, forty each. Go ahead and count in your head.”
“Okay” He curls his body, only gets through two more crunches before a finger presses in. “fuck!”
“Focus, big guy.” Joseph kisses his knee.
“I am, I’m focusing on the fact you’re a fucking genius.”
“If you lose count, you’ll have to start over” he presses in the second finger, “and that means longer until your reward.”
“I’m, I’m on twenty!”
A kiss to his calf, “Keep going.”
By the time he hits the second “forty” his legs are burning and Joseph is stretching his ass open with three fingers. He pulls them free but keeps Barclays legs in place, tugs the glove off and removes a blue, silicone plug from his jacket pocket . It slides in comfortably, but Barclay whimpers his name all the same.
“You’re doing so well Barclay. Are you ready to keep being my good boy?”
“Yes, please yes.”
Joseph sets his legs on the floor, guides him to his knees so he can pull his shorts up, and then helps him to his feet, pausing to kiss him sweetly and run his lips along his neck.
“Twenty minutes on the bike. Whatever speed you like.”
Barclay eases himself onto the seat, starts pedaling and watches longingly as Joseph heads into the kitchen saying he'll be back in a minute. The plug isn’t too uncomfortable to sit on, so this should be a breeze.
He hunches forward with a moan as it starts vibrating. Joseph strides back into the room, remote control in hand, only stopping to give Barclay another kiss and run his fingers through his hair before dropping onto the couch.
“Let me know when you’re done.” He picks up a copy of Empire and starts reading, heedless of Barclay’s increasingly loud moans.
The vibrator starts and stops, sometimes a gentle buzz and sometimes a furious pulse, and Barclay fights to keep the pedals going under the onslaught, desperate not to lose time and eager to please the man stealing tender, hungry glances at him from the couch.
“Time” He gasps, pulling his feet free from the pedals. Joseph is up and to him before his legs have a chance to wobble. Once he’s on the couch, shirt soaked with sweat, Joseph straddles him and kisses him demandingly, mouth moving from lips to cheek to neck without a care for sweat.
“Will you be a good boy and let me get off on you?”
“You know I fuckin will, fuck, babe, wanna be so fuckin good for youAH, ohgod” He throws his arms around Joseph, clinging and groping as he grinds on the cage and the aching cock within it.
“You look so good like this big guy, exhausted and obedient for me.”
“Yes, yesyes all for you, Joseph, please cum on me.”
“I will baby, don’t worry.” He brushes their lips together, “do you want some more kisses while I do.”
“Uhhuh” He whines, the noise only growing as Joseph kisses him and works his hips recklessly, his hands slipping up Barclays shirt to squeeze his pecs and toy with his nipples. When the tempo of his jerking hips changes, Barclay holds him tighter, needing to feel the way his body tenses and shudders as he cums more than he’s needed anything in his life.
“There” Joseph grins, panting, and pulls the key to the cage from his breast pocket, “now you can have your reward.” He slides to the floor, yanking Barclays shorts with him on the way. The cock cage hits the carpet and then a wet, enthusiastic mouth swallows him almost to the root.
“Ohfuck, Joseph, babe I’m gonna cum in like two seconds you, you might wanna-”
The agent pulls off, lazily licking the head, “I don’t want cum on the carpet, big guy. So be a good boy and cum down my throat.”
He gets exactly three and a half ecstatic thrusts into Joseph’s mouth before his orgasm knocks the breath from him and he cums, moaning out thanks as he does. When he’s spilled the last of it, Joseph sits back, breathing deep and wiping his lips.
“J-joseph? Will you, uh, will you kiss me again?”
The other man clambers into his lap, bitter taste on his tongue when Barclay glides his own against it. When he finally stops to breathe, Joseph pets his beard.
“Was all that okay?”
“So fucking okay. It was incredible. I, I feel so fucking good. Sweaty, but good.”
A kiss on the cheek, “Shower is just down that hall. Go get clean while I order dinner.”
“Okay.” Barclay looks at him with dreamy hope, “do you, uh, wanna do this again sometime?”
“Often. If, um, if that’s okay with you?”
Barclay nods, “as long as we can still work out together? I like doing that with you.”
“Of course, big guy.”

Ecce homo
I sit with my cup of coffee and copy of Dazai’s No Longer Human and gaze at attractive men.
I can’t help it, it’s like an autonomic reaction. Or maybe I’ve turned it into one through practice and acclimation. Masculine flesh seizes my heart with a joy not to be found anywhere else: Not in a glass of Picpoul de Pinet, not in a Tom Thomsson painting, not in a song pronounced low and melancholically echoing across a deserted moonlit lake. It is the presence of the male body that engages all of my senses at once, balances my humours, unbalances them once more, causes a disorder in my mind of the highest pleasure, a free interplay of the categories unintimated by the sage of Königsberg.
I take another sip of coffee and look around. I am recently returned from the gym, from the treadmill, the weight machine, the pool—especially the pool, where I am free to stretch into my most comfortable and natural shape, pulling forward and backward through the water—and my body tingles with the energy of expenditure. I see these men now and I desire them all the more from it. I imagine their hands on me, one by one, in a circle, abstract, masses of sentient flesh, penetrating every part of me, and me in turn, them. The brewery owner on his stepladder repairing a circuit, sculpted calves and glutes on display in thin gray shorts, pale flesh peeking out just enough from under his red t-shirt when he reaches upward. The jovial deliveryman in tight jeans, muscular body accented by a handsome guy swelling beneath his tucked regulation button-down shirt. The tall and skinny beer drinker with his chestnut beard and short hair lightly twinged with a distinguishing gray, youth and maturity combined in an artful waltz. I cannot stop my desire; it is like a river. It flows as it wants, and it leaps into rapids as these beautiful hominids move with strength and purpose. I feel so weak and adrift in comparison. In comparison to their sturdiness and interfacing with the world, I am like a clown, a clown who loves to fuck.
It is times like this where I feel like I’m in some interwar Continental European novel. Every character has their societal role: The carpenter, the doctor, the vinter, the prostitute, the curate, the painter, the drunk, the homosexual. My role in this oft-doleful life then feels as though it is to be the homosexual, that my calling is purely to desire men, to love them, all other efforts secondary follies, distractions from the shining path toward a cocksucker’s Nirvana.
Homosexuality as bourgeois pathology: now there’s an insidious memetic. I can easily envision that leading to my ultimate downfall, blindly believing that it’s my inversion that’s made me into a sinthomic, horny idiot, leaving aside the true thread through the labyrinth. (And if I happen to run across a minotaur along the way, hmm, well. . .) That said, I shudder to think what kind of dismal life I’d be leading as a heterosexual: some anhedonic retreat into middle-classedness, no doubt about it. I’ll spare everyone the details.
And so I am a creature, a hominid waterdog pricked by thorns, led around by the nose, sure, but Puckish enough I like to think. My mind is attuned to the sensual, both feral and refined, I like to imagine. I like to feel my body, whether in the water or touching other men, their warm flesh and solid bones, their hair and fur on my hair and fur and warm flesh and solid-enough bones.
Scream is on the brewery television. God, David Arquette is so cute with his mustache and cop uniform. I know that’s horribly gauche these days, to get it up for authority figures, considering everything that’s transpired, but deep down the animal in me knows that I crave a big strong man to put me in my place, and to keep me there. At least for a little while. At least until the tide goes back out.

Cherry Pie
Little bit of ADA Carisi sexiness for my babes @detective-giggles
Warnings: Smut and stripper poles.

Tumblr media
Sonny thought he knew everything about you, you had been his partner and crush since you both started at SVU the same year. You had been through a lot together and both having feelings for each other but too scared to admit it. He knew you were into fitness you always had been, but you could also inhale his ma's cannoli’s, have a burger and fries and go out drinking all in one day and just work out twice as hard the next. You used to do kick boxing with Nick, you helped Amanda get back into shape after the girls and you helped Liv find a personal trainer because you were too busy with work to do it for her.
Sonny walked back into your brown stone after walking Liv and Amanda to their cars after dinner and drinks at your place. You had everyone over to celebrate a big win that Sonny had in court that week. Sonny knew your brown stone well. You had inherited it from you grandparents. He had been there too many times to count over the years, even staying there for a week while his apartment was getting painted. He was there more often now he as ADA not seeing you as much during a working day now he was at 1 Hogan Place.
He knew the basement was you’re at home gym, but he never had the need nor had you ever taken him down there cause well you both never thought about it. He walked back in the door closing and locking it. When he heard music coming from down stairs. He walked along the hall to the door to the down stairs stair case, all the lights on. He could hear Kat murmuring just over the music. He started to make his way downstairs hearing "Cherry Pie" more clearly every step he took. As he got to the bottom steps seeing the space more clearly he almost chocked.
The basement was a massive space covered in blue soft mat flooring. The back corner had two punching bags hanging from the roof, next to the stairs in front of a roof to floor length mirror was a treadmill and exercise bike. Along the left hand wall, shelves of different trophies that you had won over the years and smack bang in the middle of the room two sliver stripper poles in front of the right hand wall that was all mirrored with some weights down the back corner.
Sonny's heart beat speed up when he seen you do a hand stand wrapping your legs around the pole and pulling your upper body up wrapping your hands around it so you were close to the roof. You spun around a couple of times sliding down slightly, then flipping back to place your hands on the floor, your t shirt falling showing off your belly, letting go of the pole with your legs and flipping over to stand.
"Carisi" you heard Kat say over the music. You looked over at Sonny his eyes wide and mouth opened as you stood up.
"When you think you know someone" Sonny chuckled stepping down off the step to look at the trophies "You’re a champion pole dancer" it was more a statement then a question.
"And a trainer" Kat butted in.
"Wait- what?" Sonny spun around looking at you "Where do you find the time?"
"I only train people for competitions or when annoying friends want classes" you looked over at Kat with a giggle "your bags there, don't forget it next time."
Kat walked down a bit picking up her bag and looking at her smart watch, "I better go, my Uber is here" Kat walk over and hugged you and high fived Sonny,
"Want me walk you out?"
"Na all good, thanks Sonny" Kat walked up the stairs two at a time and you heard the front door shut. You turned down the music slightly and grabbed a rag to wipe down the pole,
"How long have you been doing this?" Sonny made his way towards you.
"5 years" you smiled at him as you ran the rag down the pole.
"How didn't I know about this?" he scoffed putting his hands on his hips.
"You never asked Dominick. It's something an SVU Detective shouldn’t be broad casting anyway"
Sonny watched your hands making their way up and down the pole and shifted on his feet crossing his arms in front of himself,
"Show me" Sonny’s voice was husky.
"What?"
"Show me-please" Sonny half smiled.
You took some steps forward standing almost flush with him looking up into his crystal blue eyes.
"Is that what friends do?"
"Who said anything about friends?" Sonny lent down his lips meeting yours softly and briefly pulling away.
"After all these years you make a move after seeing me on the pole?" You raised an eye brow at him smirking. Sonny went all red reaching for the back of his neck rubbing it "I'm kidding Sonny" you placed your hands on his hips "It's about time" you stood on your tippy toes kissing him softly again. Sonny’s hands moved to rest on either side of your neck pulling you into him. The kiss deepened and you both stayed like that for a long moment before pulling away,
"How much do you want me to show you?" You purred.
"Show me everything ya got"
"Give me five minutes" you peaked his lips and bolted up the stairs.
Sonny scanned over the trophies trying to figure out how after all these years he didn't know about this when he heard your footsteps coming down the stairs and seen your legs before he seen the rest of you.
"I-wow" Sonny scanned your body.
As you walked down the stairs he seen your black short shorts with 3 frills on the leg hem two pink squinted material layered with a black. 3 pink buttons down both hips at the front and a pink squinted boob tube bra with black straps, your hair down around you and pink lip stick. You giggled and made your way over to him running your pointer finger a long his jaw kissing his chin before walking next to the stairs to grab a fold up chair and handing it to him. Sonny took it off you walking to the mirror and unfolding the chair and sitting down with his back to the mirror while you changed cd's on the player.
"My shoes are getting repaired, so I'll just have to show you without them" you looked over your shoulder as "Buttons" by the pussy-cat dolls filled the room. You made your way over to the pole and started a routine that you had won your last championship with.
Sonny had to remember to breathe. He watched on with eyes wide and mouth dropped open as he watched you flip, spin, twirl and he was shocked at how flexible you were with your leg splits. A couple of times you looked at him winking or smiling and he had to cross his legs so you didn't see his bulge in his pants. The song finish and you landed sliding down the pole to stand a big smile on your face,
"That was good" Sonny cleared his throat.
"Thank you. I won a champion ship with that" you titled your head to the side trying to look cute.
Sonny smirked and stood up making his way over to you wrapping an arm around your waist pulling you in. You could feel his hardness on your thigh.
"Was it that good Counselor?" You looked up at him through your eyelashes biting your bottom lip.
Sonny chuckled moving his hand behind your neck pulling your lips to his, pushing his hips into you. You let a hand run down between both your bodies cupping him through his pants giving him a slight squeeze. Sonny grunted into your mouth pulling away to get his breath,
"So if your my girlfriend" he gasped as you squeezed him lightly again "Do I get my own private shows?" He rolled his hips into your hand.
"Hmmm-only if you’re a good boy Dominick" you stood up on your tippy toes running your tongue along his bottom lip. You pulled back and winked at him.
You made quick work of undoing his belt buckle, button and zipper sinking to your knees pulling them down as you went. You were taken back at his long thick size and looked up at him smiling, his cheeks going slightly red.
You parted you lips taking him into your mouth, the heat pooling rapidly at your core feeling him on your tongue. Years of fantasies finally coming true. Sonny moaned threading a hand into your hair gently, his head dropping back, eyes shut as you worked on him with your mouth. Your tongue running up the underside to his tip licking around it, going back down to his base till he hit the back of your throat making your way back up again cheeks hollowed.
Sonny tugged your hair slightly and you pulled off with a pop, you went to open your mouth when he sunk to his knees putting his hands either side of your neck pulling you in for a deep needy kiss. Your hands on Sonny’s chest moved to his shirt buttons starting to undo them. He was grateful he lost his tie and vest hours ago. As you undone the last button you ran your hands up Sonny's stomach to his chest. He gasped in your mouth and pulled away sitting on his hunches,
"What's wrong?" You searched his face worried "Do you want to stop?"
"No" Sonny took a deep breath getting back up on his knees pulling you into him "I always wondered what it would like with you and I regret not making a move sooner" his lips crashed on yours his tongue darting in your mouth as you wrapped a hand around his length. Sonny rested his forehead to yours moaning as your hand ran up and down his length.
You pulled your head away and started to kiss down Sonny's neck. One of his hands threading into your hair the other resting on the exposed skin of your middle. As you got to Sonny's collar bone you nipped him slightly after you kissed him. Sonny growled and pulled back,
"Turn around" his voice was deep and it excited you.
You done as he asked crawling around so your back was to him. He spread your legs apart with his knee making his way between them so your back was too his chest. He snaked an arm around you running down from your bra into your pants and panties running his fingers along your wet folds kissing your neck,
"So wet for me babe" Sonny nipped your ear lobe all you could do is nod "I need to get a condom from my wallet" he breathed into your ear. You shook your head,
"I have an IUD and I'm clean"
"I’ am clean"
Sonny pulled his hand out of your pants hooking his fingers on the waist of them tugging them down to your bent knees. Sonny’s hand run up your naked thigh to your breast and cupping a boob through your bra feeling how hard your nipple was.
"Sonny" you said breathless "I need you" you moaned.
Sonny removed his hands from you pushing you forward onto all fours from between your shoulder blades resting his hands on your hips. Sonny ran the head of his cock along your opening before he slid in half way. You groaned your head falling forward at the way he stretched you. You pushed your hips back into him so he bottom out.
"I want you so bad Y/N" Sonny started to roll his hips into you.
"I'm yours Dominick"
The way you said his name, so thick with lust, Sonny started to snap his hips into you pulling you back into him by your hips.  Skin on skin and moans from you both filled the room. Although Sonny was pulling you back into him, you pushed back just as hard. His cock hitting a spot that no one ever had before. Sonny let go of one hip reaching under you to find your sensitive pearl rubbing it with his pointer finger. Your arms began to shake and you dropped down on your forearms your head turning towards the mirror.
"Sonny" you moaned "Look"
Sonny turned his head locking eyes with you in the mirror the whole image too much to handle as you screamed and balled your hands into fists on the padded floor your release crashing over you, you saw stars. Sonny slammed into you one last time while looking in the mirror at your face and he grunted loud your name leaving his lips as he came deep inside you.
He pulled out and you both collapsed on the floor next to each other both sweaty and out of breath. Sonny rolled over kissing your naked shoulder as he zipped himself away and you pulled everything back up. You both laid there shoulder to shoulder staring at the roof,
“If I’ am going to be your girlfriend, maybe you should only get a show on special occasions”
Sonny rolled over resting his top half on yours cupping your cheek kissing you lightly on the lips,
“Does a first date classify as a special occasion?”

Mini MacGyver Fic
(Look, ya’ll keep filling my timeline with irresistable prompts sooooo have sleepy, sick Mac just trying to take a nap mini fic!)
No one could find Mac. He'd been spotted coming in, spotted saying hi to Matty, spotted in the lab tweaking Sparky's joints, spotted in the gym repairing a treadmill rumor had it he’d broken... But all those reports were now hours old. No one was worried, they were just curious. Had he gone to fix something else for someone? Had he disappeared into the cafeteria? Was he busy inventing something somewhere? No one knew.
Well, almost no one knew.
Bozer's phone vibrated in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw Matty's name on screen. "Uh oh."
"What?" Riley asked, looking up from her screen in the tech room.
Bozer held out his phone. "Matty's calling."
Riley shared his alarm. "Okay, okay. Just stay calm and focused on the goal here, okay?"
"You just said okay three times," Bozer said.
"Answer it!" Riley hissed.
Bozer did as he was told. "Hey, Matty. Whassup?"
He saw Riley's barely restrained facepalm.
"Bozer, where are you?" Matty sounded suspicious. Then again, that wasn’t exactly new for her. She always sounded like that when she needed an answer.
'Breathe!' Riley mouthed at him.
Nodding, Bozer took a breath and answered Matty. "With Riley. She's been showing me a few things in the tech office."
Which was technically true...
"Is Mac with you?"
Bozer could do this without messing up. He could totally fool Matty. "Sorry. Still haven't seen him. You know what he's like when he's thinking."
"Yeah, I do," Matty said. "It's why I'm thinking of putting a bell on him."
Bozer snorted with laughter. "Riley and I will get right on that."
"She could go one better and track his phone."
"Isn't that a major violation of Mac's privacy?" Bozer asked, trying to keep his voice light.
"Unfortunately," Matty said. "So make me a bell, or better yet, find him."
"Is it urgent?" Bozer asked. “Y’know, the thing you need him for?”
"No," Matty said. "But it's starting to feel like he's avoiding both myself and Jack."
Sounded like Mom and Dad were worried. "I will keep looking."
"Thanks."
Matty ended the call. Bozer sank down in relief. "I think she bought it."
"Good," Riley said. "Because Mac needs the nap."
They both looked over to the tech room's couch. Mac was there, uncharacteristically oblivious to the world. He was fast asleep, resting on his side, arms curled in front of his face. His hair flopped over his face, his cheeks slightly flushed. Even from across the room they could hear the congestion in his breathing.
"Think we'll convince him to take an actual sick day tomorrow?" Riley asked.
"No," Bozer said. “Because Mac doesn’t catch colds. He is above them.”
"That is ridiculous," Riley said. Not that she sounded angry or frustrated. She was too worried for that. "Aren't guys supposed to get man flu? He should be at home complaining about how he has a little bit of a sniffle and acting like it’s the end of the world, not hiding in here. The fact that he is sleeping through all of this says it all! He’s sick. And if I catch whatever this is off him, I am going to confiscate every paperclip in LA."
"Getting Mac to admit he's sick is like getting you to admit Uncharted 2 is the best in the franchise," Bozer said.
"That's because Uncharted 3 is the best and I will die on that hill," Riley said. "And yes, I get your point."
"So we have two options," Bozer said. "Either we continue hiding him, or we wake him up and get him to Matty, hoping she doesn’t notice that he’s feverish."
Riley sighed.
Bozer sighed.
They shared a look. "Wanna go Rock, Paper, Scissors?" Bozer offered. "Winner makes the call."
"No way! Loser makes the call!"
"Deal." Bozer held out one hand.
Riley stood and held out hers. "On three."
Bozer nodded. "One." He slammed his fist against his open palm.
"Two!" Riley said, her fist hitting her palm.
"Three!"
Bozer: paper.
Riley: rock.
"Damn!" She groaned.
"Yes!" Bozer cheered. "The pressure is off."
"Argh!" Riley scrubbed at her hair. "Fine! I say we give him another hour. Then we wake him up and send him to Matty."
Except exactly five minutes later, Jack walked in. He looked pissed. "Hey! What the hell are you two - "
"Sssssssshhhhh!" Bozer and Riley ordered, pointing to the couch.
Jack looked to the couch tucked up against the back wall, and his expression softened. "Well, now, there he is." Jack looked over his shoulder. "He's sick, ain’t he?"
"It’s a cold," Bozer said.
"Mac Flu," Riley said. At Jack and Bozer's looks, she shrugged. "What? He should be resting at home but instead, to avoid calling in sick, he's taking a nap on my work couch! If that ain't Mac Flu, I dunno what is."
"Alright, I had a feeling something was up when he turned down a ride this morning. He thinks he’s so smart, trying to hide this from me," Jack said. "I'll let Matty know. You guys keep an eye on him. And under no circumstances is he to drive himself anywhere."
"Oh, he won't." Bozer held up both Mac's keys and his Swiss army knife.
Jack looked impressed. "Nice work."
Bozer nodded. "We've got him. You go tell Matty everything's cool."
"No need."
Matty entered the room. She took one look at Mac. "Blondie!" she bellowed. “Let’s go! Up and at ‘em!”
Mac jolted awake and fell right off the couch. Squinting, Mac stared at everyone gathered around him. “Uh…”
"Sorry, Mac," Riley said. "Bozer and I did our best."
"Yeah, you have been asleep for three hours so we did pretty good!" Bozer said.
"I will deal with you two later," Matty said.
Riley and Bozer fell silent.
"Mac, you're going home and you are staying there until you're well enough to be here," Matty said.
Mac leapt to his feet. "I'm well! I'm..." The colour flushed out of him.
"Whoa there!" Jack caught Mac before he hit the deck.
"Okay," Mac said, voice muzzy. "I'm okay."
"Yeah, that little blackout says otherwise." Jack helped Mac steady himself. " I can feel the heat coming off of you like –”
“Please,” Mac begged. “Do not finish that sentence.”
“Fine,” Jack said. “You need a trip to medical?"
"No," Mac said. "I just... I should probably go home."
"And that's exactly where you're going," Jack said.
Mac looked through his messy hair at Riley and Bozer. "Sorry I got you in trouble."
"Oh, don't worry, you're in plenty of trouble yourself," Matty said. "Just as soon as you can stand up without fainting."
Mac smiled ruefully.
"Take him home," Matty ordered Jack.
"You got it, boss."

Note
I just read your post about an s/o who has muscle and is insecure about it. butttt could you do one with an s/o who works out but cant get results? and is insecure about it since they literally have a volleyball god boyfriend. ahaha thank you in advance if you write it! 🥺❤️❤️
Heyyy ✨❤️ i tied my best and did some research of what could be the reason why someone don't gain muscles - most of it is in Kuroos because he's the real nerd out of the three haha
But keep in mind that this is nothing to be insecure about - yes it’s frustrating but you’re still an amazing person ❤️✊🏼
HC S/O is insecure because they can’t gain muscles
Bokuto
Having a boyfriend who gets the bills paid by doing sports is cool yeah
Dream coming true
But also he’s ripped
And you are healthy and active and working out …
But you don’t look like you are?
You just don’t gain muscles
So one day you decided enough is enough
There has to be something you haven’t tried out yet so you decided to ask your baby owl
“Is it because of something I said?? I’M SO SORRY IF I SAID ANYTHING THAT MADE YOU FEEL INSECURE -”
“No no Baby it’-”
“Baby you’re so beautiful you don’t need to change something about your body!“
“KOU!“
“…yes?“
“you did nothing wrong baby. I want to do this for myself. I want others to see how hard I work out… I want us to match:(”
“But baby… I don’t care if you don’t look as fit as I do.. I know that you can easily kick my ass“ He tilts his head to side
“Kou, I know you do - you’re just perfect - but I really want this…and I feel like nothing I do helps me gain muscles … “
“Okay .. mhhh … how about from know on we both stick to my meal plan? Obviously you don’t need to eat as much as I do but just so you get the right nutritions! All those supplements WONT help if you don’t have the right base already! OH and I can come to the gym with you next time and see if I see anything you could improve? I think you’re probably too afraid to increase the weight incase it would be too heavy and you make a fool out of yourself. SO when I’m with you - you don’t need to be afraid of this baby. AND you need to rest your muscles ok? AND the best way for this is getting enough sleep.“ He smiles and takes your hands in his
“Okay kou..and I’d love too.“ You smile and kiss his cheek
“But …. You sure know that I love you with or without muscles yes? And that I don’t care about what others say?“
“Yes I know this baby- you’ll show it everyday“ you smile and he grabs your face, kissing you softly.
“But we still have our cheat days on the last Friday of the month“ he smiles brightly
Just perfect boyfriend #1
Bonus:
“baby… you really need to sleep more tho“ he pouts when he finds you awake at 2am
“I know .. but I can’t fall asleep..“
“Ohhhh if that’s your problem we can include a small workout so you get tired from now on?“
“Kou… my muscles are already sore I wont go for a run in the evening.“
“baby.. I’m not talking about this kind of workout“ He smirks while taking off his shirt and walking over to you
“I talk about the sort of workout that makes you really scream… the really hardcore one…“ he hovers over you and starts kissing your neck
From now on you sleep like a baby
Kuroo
Sooo …. Kuroo is the equivalent to a healthy and fit person
And you’re just .. basic?
And yes.. you hear some people whisper why he’s with someone who’s not as fit as he is?
But you work out?? …. the comments still got into your head and you got insecure
Sooo you started working out more,  not telling him tho because you wanted to do this by yourself
But… whatever you’re doing your doing something wrong..
Alter 4 months there should be some muscles right? RIGHT?!
But there aren’t ???
So you become moody
All those extra exercising made you tired and not seeing results just frustrated
And Kuroo quickly noticed this and talks with you about it
Since you know - he’s observant af and always worried about you and wants you to be happy all the time
Because he’s perfect boyfriend #2
“Ok y/n. Tell me what’s wrong?“
“Oh nothing, I just don’t feel good“
“You know you can’t lie to me“ he sighs
You sigh. he is right and you know it and you know that you need to put your pride aside and let him help
“So .. technically… When someone wants to gain muscles but sh- HE doesn’t see any results.. what would you tell him to do?“
“Technically?“ He smirks
“Technically!!!“
“Ok.. so technically- I would make sure that HE eats the right nutritions. Many still don’t eat enough because were told that eating more than what.. 1200 cals makes you fat - but to gain muscles you need to be increase your intake and stop being in a deficit. HE should make sure to increase his Protein intake and not just with Shakes“ He side eyes you “but also with actually EATING more proteins. Instead of relying on those you af first need to make sure you have all the needed multivitamins. AND if you use protein powder, use the right one - oh He should use the right one - Whey Protein has a broad spectrum of amino acids to help repairing and rebuild the muscles.“
“Ohhh okay… mhhh wow you really know much about this“ you mumble
“Y/N?“
“Yes?“
“Also YOU need enough rest and sleep to let your muscles relax. You need the rest days to BUILD muscles. The hormone which is helping to grow muscles has its highest level when you sleep. And the more you stress yourself because you don’t gain them helps braking down the existing ones. Cortisol - a catabolic hormone - comes with stress and it can break down your muscles-”
“Kuroo I-” “not finished yet. I’ll come to the gym with you the next time and make sure that you lift the right amount of weight and make sure that you increase the weight. You won’t get muscles if you don’t increase it.“
“Thank you..“ You mumble
“No need to - but come to me next time when somethings bothering you. I love you an I want you to love yourself, okay baby?“
“Okay..“ You smile and he kisses you cheek
“Now - lets go shopping and fill the fridge with the right stuff.“
Oikawa
Oikawa is fit
There is no one who can say he’s not
And yes you enjoyed working out with him
But there is like NO GAIN??
And it frustrated you that you’re  still normal and he’s ripped and getting more ripped everyday
And yes you hear his fangirls making fun of you
“Omg how can he be with someone who’s not fit at all?“ “I know right? Just a matter of time that he switched her for one of US when he sees us at the gym“
You’re sulky the rest of the day
Not giving him the much needed attention he wants
So he’s now clinging on you
“BABYYYY what’s wrongggggg tellll meeeeeee“
“No it’s nothing love“
“But BABYYYYY I know there is something uppppp“ and he starts doing the worst thing ever
He tickles you
This bisch I swear
After about 5 minutes you give in
“Oka--OKAY:. I  -OMg STOP - I cant breathe“ You whine
“Noooo. Tell me then I stopppppp“ he smirks mischievously
“I want to gain muscles but I just don’t?“
He stops and looks at you dumbfounded
“That’s it??“
„Yes..“
“baby.. first of all- your genetics aren’t made for getting muscles easily. Some of us have it harder then others and YOU can train as much as you want but you still will only get those lean muscles, because that’s just how your body is. But if you want me to help you I will gladly get your ass off the treadmill - too much cardio wont help you. And I will make you add the extra weight to kill your muscles so they get that they need to get stronger. AND YES. I - THE GREAT OIKAWA - WILL CARRY YOU IF YOUR LEGS HURT TOO MUCH!“
“Thank you baby, I’ll remember the carrying part“ you laugh but then your smile drops again
“Whoaaa baby.. there’s still something bothering you?“
“You wont leave me for someone who looks fitter than me right?“
“OMFG WHAT?! I would never leave you because of something so stupid? I love you with my whole heart and I don’t care about this stupid things- Yes I care about it if it’s bothering you - but other than that those thought would never cross my mind“ and with said words he’s all over you kissing ever part of your skin that is exposed saying how much he loves you with every kiss.
perfect boyfriend #3
