Hey, its me again
Still can't find the notebook
But I came up with a way people can still interact with the world of Tronsike
The blog is called the stories of Tornsike but I'm not good at writing stories
I much prefer world building so I'm going to update the worldanvil page so its compltly up to date and open it up to people to use to write stories about the world. Those stories can be sent to me. Once I get enough stories I'll host a tournament on this blog. Top 3 of the tournamet will get added as canon in the world. There will also be an award called the gaurdian of tronsike award (in world this award is their version of the medal of honor, I thought it would be cool to also use it for this). This award is given to my favorite non top 3 entry and will also get added to canon.
There will be 2 tournaments you can enter, adventure and worldbuilding
Adventure
A story
If gets top 3 or wins the gaurdian of tronsike award I will contact the winner to add any important events, charcters, and places in the story to the worldanvil
The story will also be added to the worldanvil under a tab with other winners stories for people to read
No adding abilitys, creatures, or plants (execeptions can be made by sending me a message with explanition of abilitys/creature/plant and why its important to your story)
You are allowed and encouraged to add minor modifications to vehicles
No adding new vehicles (execeptions can be made by sending me a message with explanition of the vehicle and why its important to your story)
Story must include: Title, your username, a map with locations in story marked (helpful but not required), when in happens in the storyline (at least which era), irl year it was written
Worldbuilding
An event, place, creature, plant, vechicle, ability, technology, minor faction, act/law, etc.
If entry gets an award or top 3, it will be added to the worldanvil and be added in a seperate section with other winners
All worldbuilding entrys must be approved by me, I will most likly approve anything as long as it follows the rules, if its something I'm less likly to approve theres a note reminding you that I need to approve it
Entry must include name of event/place/creature/plant/vechicle/ability/technology/minor faction/act(law)/etc. and description of it
(event/place/creature/plant/vechicle/ability/technology/minor faction/act(law)/etc.) - (info that must be included)
Event - time it started, time it ended/on going, who was involved, why it started/ended, summary of what happened during event, if the event is a war then you must have an act entry as well for the treaty that was the result of the war (not required if the war is on going)
Place - which faction, if tech faction what vehicle class (only turtle cities are the onlh choice at the moment), location, detials about the city (whats a popular job there, who is in charge, what makes it unique)
Creatures - where it lives, is it domesticated, if it is does it serve a specfic purpose
Plants - where is it found, does it have any interesting properties (is used for medicine, is it posinous)
Vechicle - must include which faction it belongs to (can be for tech, fire, stone, or air factions. Other factions must be approved by me)
Ability - which faction(s) have this ability, what does it do, are there any laws in place about it (for example the lightning treaty, the flight act, or the high gaurd act)
Technology - what does it do, which faction invented it, which factions use it, all technology must be approved by me
Minor faction - a group of people with simalr belif/goal (for example the children of chaos)
Minor factions cont. - sub factions - subfactions occur when people from 2 diffrent factions have a child and the child ends up with a new magic thats a comboanation of the parents magic (for example, fire faction and stone faction make the sub faction magma) instead of inheriting just 1 parents magic, all sub factions I have written can be written over but once one is added via an award or a tournament it can't be overwritten, what are the parent factions, what can the sub faction control, where is their embassy (each sub faction has an embassy inside 1 faction, this determines which faction they are considered part of when it comes to repersentation on the balance council) any major events or things they have created
Minor faction cont. - religon - what they belive, what faction did it originate, what faction(s) follows this religon (no factions have a religon that everyone in has to follow but their can be a religon that most of them follow)
Act/law - factions it affects, is it a faction rule or a rule made by the balance council, what it prohibits/allows (must be approved by me)
Etc. - something thats doesnt fit in the other types - send me the idea and I will most likly approve it and add it to this list
Each entry for the tournament is allowed 3 diffrent things they want to add (this is so you cam add things that are connected, for example an event that leads to the creation of a new vehicle) must all be submitted together
Layout of entry (color/bold/italics - what type of entry it applies to)(event/place/creature/plant/vechicle/ability/technology/minor faction/act/all)(if multiple colors/bold/italics it applies to multiple types of entrys)
(Name) : (event/place/creature/plant/vechicle/ability/technology/minor faction/act) - (subfaction/religon/faction that created,discovered, or that exists in)
(Parent factions/factions involved in, used in or its found in)
(Time created, started, formed/time started and ended)
----------------------------------------------------
(Info about entry)
----------------------------------------------------
(Username) - (year entry was created/written)
Rules that apply to both
Keep it pg 13 (aka keep swearing to a minium and no nsfw)
Keep it a reasonble length, i have to read all these, and so do the people who are voting, please don't make them take multiple days to read
You are allowed to add to pervious stories that have been added as long as the orginal creator is okay with it (or if you are the creator of it)
Don't steal others work
Be polite to other people
Feel free to make propaganda about your entry
Breaking any of the rules will disqualify your entry
Alright that was really long.
I'll let you all know when the worldanvil is up to date but that doesn't mean you can't start working on ideas.
I hope you all have a great day and I can't wait to see what yall create!

Okay big update:
Im changing the character sheet from digital to paper because the system I was using deleted any data a user inputed the seconed they closed the website (scratch I love you but you need a way for players to save thwir progress)
I have decided on how the skill tree works and how your level effects your skill
The only thing I have left to do for the character sheet is draw up an actual draft, figure out how many skill points you get when you start/level up, and refigure out starting equipment (its still set up for the old system)
With that said beta testing will be starting in the next couple weeks so this will be your last chance to sign up. Once I anounce the start of beta testing you will no longer be able to join the beta group.
How will the beta work?
I will message you about how to play and the supplies you need and ask you what part of the beta testing you want to do.
The options are...
Single player: I run a story you play as a character you design
Group: Im going to run a group of 4 to 5 people, you will have to join a discord and be okay with joining a vc (this one has limited space)
On your own: I'll send you information on how to play and run a game, you amd your friends then go play it on your own and send me feedback on what needs work (this testing will start after the first 2 so I can fix the more major problems before hand)
If you are intrested in helping just like this post and I will message you for more information

Each faction has its own laws
Does that mean each has its own criminal justice system, police department, and forensic experts
Like what would the forensics department look like for the water faction where everything is…you know…underwater?
Let me know your thoughts

I’m going to start going into the lore of the tech faction which is the faction with the most lore so it’s going to take awhile to get through. I’m going to share a little bit at a time to make it easier to follow. My goal will be daily posts, each with a blurb about the faction.
I hope to keep this up even after the tech faction lore is done.
Tech faction, part 1
The Tech faction is the weakest magic wise, only being able to control certain metals and alloys, but they make up for it with smarts. There is only one building in the tech faction known as the wall. The wall is every vehicle is built. These vehicles are their cities. The largest of which are the size of small mountains, and are called tortoise city class vehicles. There are only 5 tortoise class vehicles. The hub(capital of the tech faction), War machine(defends the hub), Armored tortoise, Hub 2.0, and Desert storm.
(Sorry the photo is a little blurry, there will be a colored version coming soon)

Day 6 back to tech faction
The log book library
The log book library is a giant library full of the log books of all tech faction vehicles
All captains must update their book at the library at least once a year
The library is defended and run by the librarians
Librarians work for at least 10 years at which point they can choose to continue to work for another 10 or take on an apprentice for a year who will then serve as a librarian in their place.
Being chosen as a librarian is an honor in the tech faction. After completing an apprenticeship the apprentice gains the title librarian which they will have for the rest of their life

Map:
“When magic was infused into the world, the earth changed to match. This created the 7 biomes of the world. To the north magma erupted from the ground creating the scorched land of the fire faction. next to it great mountains rose creating the earth faction. in the shadow of the mountains the ground became flat and barren making the desert of the tech faction. to the south the sea rushed in creating the water faction. Grown from the waters of the new sea, the forests of the nature faction grew. And lastly the ground shot up and the wind raged creating the cliffs of the air faction. And in the center where it all collide, a oasis form, the perfect combination of all them, the peaceful core of the world” - unknown

Got bored in class so started doing lore stuff for The Children of the Forest, went to share what I had made here and realized I haven't shared anything about them, even though they are my favorite creature in the world.
The Children of the Forest are a humanoid species that live in the dense forest of the nature faction
They are suprisingly quick and agile even though they don't have arms. They wear a hooded cloak and a mask hiding their entire body execpt there legs. No one knows whats under the cloak or behind the mask. Each mask starts blank but as they grow up it changes to match the childs personality, job, and achivements. By thd time they hit adult hood they have a mask that is unique to them.
These guys will be playable and unlike normal player characters who can access any part of the tech tree, they will be limited to the nature faction but they will have a couple unique skills. (Not sure if they will be ready to test during the first couple test games)
Anyways heres what I made in class today:

Have you ever wondered what would happen if people from diffrent factions had a baby?
No?
Well to bad im telling you anyway
The baby ends up as one of the parents factions or it ends up as a sub faction
Sub factions are combined versions of the big 6
Sub factions will not be playable in the first finished version but i will add them after
Some examples of sub factions are...
...mud - water and stone
...steam - water and fire
...magma - fire and stone
...explosives - fire and tech
Those are only a couple examples
They tend to be weaker but i think they will provide a fun challenge to players and help flesh out the world more
