I really like how Jim & Co. constantly try to keep this big secret about trolls and other creatures existing, along with the fact that Jim is the trolllhunter. 

But at the same time his enemies constantly go to his house and get into these really loud fights with him, Blinky and Arrrg visit him pretty much all the time, and Jim practices his sword skills with Toby and Draal in his backyard, like..a lot. 

Like, I know that backyard fences are supposed to provide privacy, but not that much

When Jim found Hades in the sewers, where Mira thought best to hide him away, many differet emotions were involved; shock, fear, anger, pleading, regret. But, there was also understanding.
