Hello, I would like to discuss some implications!

Between the fact that Harrow herself didn't use her sexuality as a reason and this fear about other Houses becoming involved in the Ninth:

I think we can assume that in the Nine Houses everyone is essentially expected to be attracted to people regardless of gender, especially when it comes to political alliances. It's not entirely clear whether the idea was brought up to her or she was getting ahead of it, but either way the possibility of a strategic marriage was floating around.

So, this tells us that at some point Harrow must have had to shield Gideon from marrying Ortus.

Did Harrow ever bring it up as a threat they both knew was empty, or did they both silently avoid it? Would Gideon hit her with the, "What are you going to do, hitch me to Ortus?" when she went on one of her monologues about punishment and House loyalty? Would Gideon ever be genuinely worried about the prospect; would she ever try to thank her, prompting a "I meant what I said, Griddle - I can't have an imbecile like you contaminating my Houses' bloodline"-esque response?

In any scenario, it gives Gideon more evidence that Harrow both understands her and is willing to place her over the needs of the Ninth and raises the question of how Harrow justified it to herself!

On 5 SEPTEMBER, a beloved Sky player named VIOLETTA passed away due to a very, very long battle with leukemia. I had found out that she actually was following me on Instagram, and I felt super duper heartbroken that I never got the chance to know her or even reached out for anything .... but having read all of the comments on her death announcement post, she was a very loving, compassionate woman and mother who brought radiance with her wherever she went. I was a month late making this (due to energy slumps + focus issues, mental illness n' PCOS sure is fun), but I just COULD NOT go without making some sort of tribute for her ......

TELFOSO, my beloved little goddess, takes in this Child of Light into her sacred Heaven, for it's genuine souls like her who are guaranteed a place in it (or whatever one believes awaits us.).

Rest in peace, Miss Violetta. 🎔 With much love from Telfoso and I.

something that will always make me kind of sad and annoyed is that half the lyrics to reflection were cut from mulan to save time, and the missing parts were never fully restored and animated like how human again (BATB) and if i never knew you (pocahontas) were added back into those movies for various anniversary releases. i added an "extended" version from youtube that combines the song from the movie with a deleted scene of the rest of the lyrics to my spotify local files years ago and then hardly ever listened to the regular movie version again because even as a kid i thought it was just too short.
