It's me. And I fully blame @stark-alchemy and their Zenless Zone Zero Traveling Circus AU that they've created. So I drew over these screenshots I took with my Ringleader OC for this AU + my sona for extra feral measure.

Pitdad au: william gets springlocked before he can kill any kids and becomes springbonnie early on. springbonnie also becomes sentient and the two of them have to mend the family william has neglected for so long

dysfunctionally functioning au: Nobody dies but the afton kids have to learn to deal with their abusive household dynamic (important note! the abbreviation for the fic of this au is gbwwwg and stands for getting by with what we've got.)

Wizard's Quest au: Springtrap and William team up in ucn to escape while its in a fantasy type landscape

Michael's robots au: William, Henry, and Michael build the robots together following the deaths of michaels siblings. however not only does william has a lot of dark secrets, mcihael is learning a whole lot about his robot friends (like how. yk. theyre possessed)

Swap au: Exactly what it sounds like. Elizabeth is michael, michael is the puppet, evan is circus baby, charlie and sammy are golden duo, and theres other thigns im not getting into rn

kill ur dad au: Michael kills william and drags evan in to help him cover it up. unfortunately, william always comes back

Traveling circus au: the funtimes, as humans, run a circus and meet elizabeth who got lost when her father had a springlock accident. while htye take care of her, william gets help from a shady wizard and things dont go well

Fnaf theatre au: where the fnaf game characters are a highschool theatre class and end up making a huuuge broadway show that retells the fnaf movie

anthro au: everyones a furry and the aftons are searching for william who disappeared many years ago

Golden memories au: Evan and Cassidy fail to keep william in ucn and end up losing their memories of everything past being killed (which includes meeting each other officiall) and help cassie throughout ruin

the immortal and the restless au: Evan survives the bite and both him and mike work to fix everything, but they dont meet again until fnaf 6. evan burns down fnaf 3, and mike still gets scooped and all.

Fredbear sb plush au: Evan follows greg around as a possessed discontinued golden freddy plushy and they become besties

glitched mike au: au where michael goes looking for his missing sister and gets wrapped up in the remains of glitchtrap, whos clawing his way back to life

Zombiegolf au: Michael works at the pizzaplex and is bestfriends with monty and theres other lore but william is glitchtrap, evan and liz r there, and gregory is there lolz

Zombie apocolypse au: William accidently makes a zombie virus and everything goes to shit while his kids search for him and he finds his ex wife again

time travel crack au: Michael goes back in time but hes like. nine. and hes pissed as fuck and is trying to kill his dad wiht cassidy

I'm not sure if I told you guys about the time I dreamed that 20ish Jason Todd died yet again and Death was pissed off because "really? Again? Wtf Batman. The universe doesn't keep reviving your son just so you can see how much he lasts!" And "He has a work to do you know?!". Besides, she's fond of the bright young soul.

So, she calls her uncle to help him. And what you know? Her uncle is the God of Death (because yes, my brain is like that sometimes). They sit to talk and come up with a solution.

First, taking advantage of the effects still present of the last time-space crisis and the spirits protecting the soul, they regress the time of this universe to when Jay had just left All Caste, way before he had came back to Gotham.

Then, Death places Red Hood!Jason's memories on the soul of his younger self. Not too harsh to force his soul to crack, but not too light to let them fall. Just deep enough so he finds them when he meditates.

And by last, God of Death tells the spirits where they should guide the boy to. The perfect place for him.

Where is the best place for a soul who craves for home and safety? Of course, that's with someone who has the heart to care and accept a new loved one and the determination to protect them.

That's how Jason Todd, teenage assassin in an existential crisis, ends up waking up in the softest bed he has ever been in some foreign country. At his side there's a redhead teen sitting in a sofa, a book in his hands and other boy— this one with black hair and pajamas— lying on his lap.

The redhead— Cale, as he presents himself— is mysterious but kind hearted guy. He also knows things. So much so that if he weren't as he is, Jason would suspect. As things are, he knows he's just used to collect information. A bit like a bat, but not quite. A bat would plan how to use it against the possible enemy. Cale? Well, he doesn't even bother to hide what he realized about him. He's also ridiculously casual about it.

Who offers an assassin if they want their hidden weapons back? This guy, apparently.

Jason only knows he's not totally unconscious because at one point an old guy entered with tea and pastries for the three and Cale, the little shit, choose that moment to reassure Jason.

"Don't worry. My butler is an assassin too and we don't treat him different for it."

The old geezer almost let got the porcelain teapot to the floor. Though, points for him for recovering so fast.

"Young master? May this Ron know who you would be talking about?"

"Hm? Who do you think? Hans? The only thing he can kill is Rok Soo's humor. It's you, obviously."

"..."

Rok Soo, the sleeping beauty complex guy pretending to be asleep on Cale's lap, was sweating badly. If everyone in the room weren't already aware he was clearly pretending, someone may had thought he was ill.

Later on, he realizes there was a reason Cale had said that at that moment.

He's looking at the butler subtly terrorize the boys to behave, treating the siblings like two particularly mischievous puppies. Then he turns around and uses the same tune to advise him to be careful with his wounds. And that's when he thinks 'Oh. He doesn't see me as a menace'.

Of course he doesn't. His employer just confirmed he's aware of his identity— at least partially— and his own nature. The biggest advantage of an assassin is their secrecy. After their identity is exposed, the only reason they won't attack is if the assassin believes the risk is worthy. Telling the assassin he knows he's an assassin was his way to show Jason's own intentions: none.

Jason didn't intend to end up in that field where these teens find him. He didn't intend to be brought in their vacation house. He definitely didn't plan that the people to found him passed out would be whoever these rich guys were.

But he didn't have anything against all of this either.

Well, maybe the wound. He could make it without the blood loose and the soon-to-be scar to add to his collection.

Either way, at least he had a safe place to stay and think. Just think. Because, the memories he saw— what is he supposed to do now that he has his answer?

His da— Bruce. Bruce didn't care for him as much as Jason does for Bruce. Bruce obviously didn't love him as he thought. And certainly, Bruce was way more willingly to harm him than he believed.

And Jason— well, Jason couldn't waste a second life on a man who didn't put hin even at the same level than the Joker of all people. But maybe his expectatives were too high? He hadn't planned what to do if his life was meaningless to him.

So, Jason needed time. Time to ponder and heal. Those things are better done in a safe place.

That's what Jason has in mind when Cale offers him to stay with them.

You know what? Let me explain.

45 seconds in. These? Aren't just funny fairytale circus wagons. Circus wagons don't look like that. I'd know, I have worked in sideshows and know sideshow history. It's a passion of mine. Ones I've shared with my close friends in private. One I've shared the pain of as a Romani person.

Here is a early 40's circus. I'm begging you to look at it. This is from the time this show is set in. Look how bright and colorful and how many tents there are and all the activity. See how it's different. See how this "circus" "carnival" or whatever name else they come up with isn't the same. See the racism they sanitized and the racism they left in plain sight.

These? Are vardos. These are uniquely Romani and that's what this specific episode is a slap in the face.

The plot isn't "scary vampire little girl abducts and kills kids from the circus" the plot is "Ambiguously Eastern European trope abducts children from a circus ripe with every trapping of centuries old stereotypes of Romani a single American can pull out of a hat" and only a few are missing entirely because Americans don't know about them.

Its xenophobia. It's antiziganism. Her stealing their life essence is literal blood libel.

I'm sick of sitting here watching you play us as fortune tellers and circus folk and magic casters with no idea what you're doing. I'm sick of having to stay quiet so you can have fun. I'm a person. I'm a human person. I am a human being. I'm not a fantasy elf. I'm not a race you can play for exotism. Circus, freakshows, and fortune telling isn't all we are and they aren't off limits, but how can all of you stumble into this over and over and painfully over and not for a single second see the writing on the wall? I just want to be seen.

Just give enough of a shit to at least remember we're more than props and stage dressing for your entertainment. We're real. We're here. We're suffering and because we aren't the right kind we don't get talked about.

It's 2024! Why is a NEW Batman show making the same mistakes from movies in 1996? And why is it ok? Why am I the one who has to just deal with it? I don't understand. I'm so tired.

Finally finished the designs for this AU!! Some of them may be subject to change but this is how they're looking for now!

From the "Greatest Show" animatic, the idea behind this AU is that Pomni finds herself as the new jester in this troupe of Caine's fantastical circus! She can't.. really remember how she got there, but why would she want to leave when it's so much fun? The show must go on, after all! Who knows what could happen if it doesn't? Planning on expanding more on this AU with animatics and extra art sometime! I hope some are interested!

"And they call you a God?” Kaufmo placed his foot on top of Pomni’s back, pressing down. He held the gnosis to the sun, letting the sun shine off it.

“Get the fuck away from her!” Jax screamed at him. Kaufmo's hundreds of eyes snapped to him; seeing the rabbit trying reach for his sword. The grueling pain he felt, trying to move his body, even an inch; the strain on his muscles as he ulled his entire body across the ground.

The harbinger strolled over to him. Bubble shot in front of up Kaufmo, gathering their strength to protect Jax, but only got popped with a flick of his finger.

“They call you the mighty traveler?” Kaufmo sheathed the sword of his back; holding it over the rabbit's hand, and then plummeting to an inch of his hand. The Harbinger hit hard on the sword's bottom, sending plummeting further. Jax cried out in pain; blood pooling out of his hand, painting the cobblestone streets in crimson.

"Jax!”

“What a joke,” Kaufmo chuckled, “You both deserve each other.”

A few days of work, but finally FINISHED!! Not a complete version of the whole animatic/song/comic so maybe just a part 1 for now!

This is me imagining "The Greatest Traveling Circus" Zooble's first day when they finally get out of the shell based on the "The Greatest Showman" song "This is me"

Maybe this will be a full animatic in the future, who knows?
