In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 24th show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. This show was the first time the studio version of "The World is Ugly" was performed live. At this show, Gerard Way wore a custom made vintage cheerleader dress, and "I Bet it WAS YOU" was written on the drums. (🖤)

The Italian Tour resumed for their third season yesterday in Trento, and it is nice to see them back!

Simone Nocerino as Admetus, Rossella Lubrino as Rumpleteazer, Simone Ragozzino as Mungojerrie, and Viviana Salvo as Demeter.

other people have said this but i really feel like touring every year takes the excitement out of it, especially if you're on the road for most of the year. not only is it physically taxing on the people performing, not to mention the people who work behind the scenes like those who tear down and build up the huge ass sets, but imagine the excitement of concerts after restrictions lifted. imagine the excitement of getting to see your favorite group for the first time in 2, 3, 4 years. when there's not that much time between tours it's so much less exciting, not to say you can't still be excited but it isn't the same. and as we've seen kpop companies love to have comebacks in the middle of tour and add in other schedules which has consistently led to injuries that never heal because all they do is give the person steroid shots instead of letting them rest

In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 61st show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour (the last of the North America leg) at the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City, Mexico. At this show, Gerard Way wore a Joan of Arc inspired chain mail outfit, with a long red cape and a streak of fake blood painted on his chin and neck. "Muy feugo" [sic] was written on the drums. (🖤)

In other production news, the Italian Tour is making an earlier return than I realized!

Rehearsals have been underway for about one week and they open their third season tomorrow in Trento!

At this point, there are limited scattered dates announced, but no concrete schedule and cast information. Most performers are likely returning, but I cannot be sure of everyone.
