and if you REALLY wanna have some fun, you can try out the ways i've heard people around my city (which is actually not toronto) pronounce toronto:

1: toronno

2: chuhronno

3: tronno

4: t'ronno

4: tuhronno

5: ch'ronno

6: tor'onno

7: chronno

8: tor-ron-o

9: cha'rano

10: tore-onno

and then of course there's the "cOrReCt" way, but literally only the people on cbc radio and my mom pronounce it like that.

DFGDSD okie I said it a few times at the end of one of the recordings but I had to hear myself say it again. I've mostly heard people outside Toronto pronounce it over-enunciated, like "Torr-on-Toh", though there was one guy in NB who pronounced it SO memorably like "Tuh-rAANA". I feel like as the years go on, the way I pronounce it just gradually gets less enunciated and more like the options above lol. Excuse my partner's "t'rano's" in the background.
