CG and Flowey mini-fic. I think it's the first time I write them actually interacting.

"You want one?" She presents me a packaged snack. I recall the familiar colors. Used to eat these when I was a kid... Caramel-filled donut, typically glazed with strawberry-flavored cream. There would be other variants, but I would always pick the strawberry one.

Inevitably, it lost the flavor. More like, I lost my sense of taste. It was boring and uninteresting like every other snack, and it's not like I haven't tried. I'd avoid my favorites as much as I can to forget what it felt like to eat them, and eventually, I'd try again. Three bites, then I'd throw it away if it wasn't of great healing value.

And this weirdo. She keeps offering me food.

"Why do you keep feeding me? I don't want this," I decline. I DON'T want it, it's true. What hunger would it satisfy? I only function because this world apparently forces me to. But she insists.

"Just eat."

What the hell is wrong with her? Wasting so much money on feeding a plant... It's not just an offer every now and then, it's all of the time. She buys snacks for me, she saves a third of her dinner for me... Even Frisk is beginning to copy her, it's annoying.

"Why don't you give this to someone who actually NEEDS to eat? I'm a flower, you know?"

"I know."

"Uh-huh?"

"So? You have a mouth, and teeth, and a tongue. They're there for something, right?" She drops the little bag next to me. What a stupid thing to say. She orders her food online unless forced to leave her room to go outside like a normal healthy person, doesn't mean her legs are useless.

Nonetheless... Arguing with her would be a waste of time.

"Maybe they're here to eat people." I comment, picking up the snack.

"I wouldn't doubt it." She leans on the table, as if waiting for me to take the first bite and see my reaction.

It's disturbing to be observed by a faceless creature so often. A human, they call her. She's as real as the gray phantoms of Hotland... I wouldn't remember it to care, but if the world ever repeats itself, she wouldn't be here. And she knows it.

I wonder what it would've been like. If she didn't exist in this happy reality. Nothing would change, I presume. The extra room in Toriel's house would be empty, but, that's about it. She said she would leave after summer passes, to her home, very far away from here. Nobody would really remember her.

"Hmm!" I surprise myself as if I never ate this donut five thousand times before. "Wow. It's not that bad."

"I can tell. Your little face lit up."

Sometimes, I feel as if she was meant to be here, scrutinizing my being to no end, making me pay for my sins by feeding me all sorts of things just to see what I say, react, feel about them. I put up with it. When summer ends, she'll be gone as if nothing happened.

flowey-centric - first person pov - 750~ words

this was supposed to be the introduction for a fic i'm writing, but I decided that it doesn't really fit with the rest of what I had in mind, so I'm posting it here as a standalone. hope you all like it.

Stale monotony has its claws tightly wrapped around my stem. I've exhausted every possibility I can. There is nothing else I could possibly think of doing. Boredom engulfs me, and excitement is faraway.

Whenever I'm feeling lost, I visit my best friend’s grave and talk to them. I know they aren't listening to anything I say. They're gone, body long decomposed and SOUL shattered into space. There isn't anything left of them. Still, words spill from my lips like a waterfall, as I talk about anything that comes to mind.

It's soothing, in a way.  

Then, without any warning, something heavy falls from the sky while I'm mid-sentence and collides with the patch of flowers, right on top of their grave. I barely manage to burrow into the ground in time to avoid getting hit.

I resurface a distance away. I'm about to rip apart whatever interrupted me so rudely, but when I get closer, I see it.

Smooth flesh, the rise and fall of its chest, a heartbeat – there's no mistaking it. This is a human.

An actual, real human.

This is the first time a human has fallen since I woke up in this form.

What fortunate timing. I had saved shortly before this, right when I arrived to talk to Chara. I have the perfect point of return if I want to retry anything.

Hee hee… We’re going to have so much fun together. I just know it.

I bring myself back to the present, and that’s when I hear it: the human whimpering softly, hands clutching their leg, which is bent at a weird angle… I think. I'm not actually sure. There aren’t a lot of books about human anatomy down here, but Chara’s legs never looked like that, in any case. I suppose they must have broken it on the way down. I crane my stem upwards, and…

Wow. I never realized how long of a fall that was. Yeah, I can see why that would have happened.

I’m about to introduce myself, when I hear footsteps. Even and steady, the slightly muffled sound of soft paws on the floor – it’s Toriel.

Irritation flashes through me. Seriously? Now? Her timing couldn’t be any worse!

I can’t let her see me. This is just too bad. For now, I hide underground and listen. Toriel’s footsteps approach the human, who is still crying. I hear her suck in a breath. She must have seen their leg too.

“Oh, you are hurt! Do not worry, I will fix this.”

The room takes on a soothing atmosphere as magic is gathered into a healing spell. There is the telltale sound of it hitting its target, and the human’s sobs subside slightly. Toriel lets out a breath of relief, and starts speaking: “I am TORIEL, caretaker of the RUINS.”

I’ve heard all this before. I tune her out and slightly lift my head above the ground. It’s a good thing that this patch is full of golden flowers – it’s the perfect camouflage for me. 

I can see them now. The human doesn’t say anything, but their eyes shine as they take in Toriel’s appearance, gazing at her in wonder. Heh, the complete opposite of Chara. I remember our first meeting clearly. They had also gotten injured on the way down, and they were apprehensive of me despite me healing their injuries. They looked at my face, then stumbled backwards and exclaimed…

…No, that’s not important. Anyways, the human grabs Toriel’s hand and follows her, walking with a slight limp in their step. She introduces them to the RUINS, explains the puzzles, and makes them solve a few laughably easy ones by themself. It’s utterly mind-numbing. I have half the mind to interrupt them, but no. I have to be patient. 

I still hate this, though.

After what must have been years, they finally arrive at her home and pass through the doorway. Toriel brings the kid to my room, and– “This is your new room.”

Wait, what? Their room? No! That’s mine! My room! It belongs to me! It has my glow-in-the-dark stars and toys and everything! Are you kidding me?!

I know she had taken care of the rest of the humans before this one too. But if she’s giving my room to this brat, does that mean…

…

Ha. I knew she had been itching to replace me, but this… Ha. Ha ha ha.

What a bad joke.

Enough. I can’t bear to stick around any longer. I’ll check up on the human again later. I burrow into the ground and go as far away from here as possible.

Deltarune's themes of escapism and why they hit me hard

I was going to do some Deltarune art based around this and then just have the definition of escapism under it, but I can't think of what to draw, so I'm just going to ramble about it instead.

Deltarune, as I'm sure many many other people have pointed out before, has strong themes of escapism in addition to its themes of control, freedom, the narrative, etc. The Dark Worlds transform objects into people, rooms into environments, high school students into heroes. They seem to bring to life the sorts of games you played as a kid, with your toys and your friends, making up a story that played out in your mind, enhanced by your imagination. It's theatre of the mind, helped along by the toys and props and whatnot - like when you're playing D&D, too. This sort of thing is mainly in Chapter One, with the game pieces and cards and toys. I remember playing make-believe with practically everything as a kid - I made up stories with chess pieces a few times, that was fun. Castle Town and Card Kingdom are both reminiscent of a very traditional form of escapism: fantasy.

The Cyber World is a little different, but it still holds the same sort of idea - hell, we're all here on Tumblr, we know what it's like to bury ourselves in the internet, in videos and memes and posts, and forget the world for a little while. This is emphasised by Queen's commentary - I can't find the exact quote, but it's something about being worried that the Lightners will become depressed without the 'bliss' of the internet, which isn't currently working in Hometown. We also know that Chapter 3 will take place in Toriel's lounge room and seems to be specifically based around the TV (and, this is off topic, but I literally just realised Mike could be, like, mic, as in microphone, and Tenna could be short for antenna), which can also be a form of escapism for people. I know that my mum, for one, watches TV most nights.

There's also the specific characters who fall into the Dark Worlds - Kris, Susie, Noelle, Berdly.

Kris seems to be considered weird by most of Hometown, where they are the only human and don't seem to have many - or, well, any - real friends apart from their brother, who was the town's golden boy, who everyone keeps talking about and seems to hold in high regard, whose side of the bedroom holds trophies and pictures and colour while Kris' is bare and grey (they also have Susie now, but she only became their friend during the first Dark World). In the Dark World, however, Kris gets to be a hero, sword and shield raised, saving the world with their friends. Everyone in Castle Town loves them. The room Ralsei built for them has trophies aplenty. And then there's the matter of Ralsei, who looks so much like Toriel and Asgore and Asriel, who is so nice and so supportive of Kris, who has pink horns like maybe a certain red headband faded (yes I headcanon that Ralsei is Kris' old horn headband and will continue to do so until proven wrong).

Susie, who drinks milk from back alleys and threatens to eat people's faces, who didn't actually call home when she had a sleepover with Kris, who gets uncomfortable around the block of flats in Hometown, who doesn't seem to know how to react when shown kindness or friendship, who considers herself the 'bad guy'. Well, she gets to be that bad guy, strong and powerful and scary, with a big axe and sharp teeth and enemies to defeat. And then she gets to have friends, she gets to have food, she gets to be the hero and maybe that's not so bad after all if she does it alongside people she cares about, people who care about her. We can see how much happier she is in the Dark Worlds.

Berdly, who tries so hard to be perceived as smart, who loves videogames. I don't have as much to say about him, honestly, but his Dark World design is quite distinctively Cyber World when compared to the other Lightner's more fantasy-inspired designs, and being in the Dark World gives him the chance to be a hero, even if he's not great at that for most of Chapter 2.

And Noelle. Noelle, whose sister seems to be missing or dead, whose dad is in hospital, whose mum is the town's mayor and works a lot and has an icy personality. Noelle who searches for bugs and secrets in the games she seems to love. Noelle who wishes she had magic to heal her dad. Noelle who seems to feel powerless to help someone she loves, who doesn't stand up to Berdly or her mum. Once she's in the Dark World, she can heal people. She stands up to Queen, who is a sort of mother figure. She gets to spend time with Susie. She gets to see the city lights that Dess promised her.

All this to say that Deltarune in general and the Dark Worlds specifically have some not-so-subtle themes of escapism.

Now, the 'why it hits me hard' bit. Escapism has always been one of my main coping strategies, and even beyond that, I love fantasy, I love stories, I love burying myself in another world. It's much easier to be in a world where there's magic and quests and maybe there's struggles and strife and people still get hurt and mess up and go through bad things, but eventually there's a happy ending because that's how stories work, they don't have the constant uncertainty of real life. And, you know, if I could go to a Dark World, I would. I can understand why Susie likes the Dark Worlds so much, why Noelle and Berdly wanted to make another. Escapism is something that I can understand, especially after having struggled with my mental health for a few years (I'm a lot better now though). The world can be messy and complicated and hard, and wouldn't it be nice to be in a different world for a bit, one where you can be who you want to be and you don't feel lost anymore?

So, uh... yeah lol.

Skeleton is watching some TV shows about aliens when suddenly a random spaceship crashes in his backyard.

Undertale Sans - He comes out of the house eating pop corn, just watching as twenty aliens or so are making their way out of the spaceship. That's way more realistic than the TV. Finally good entertainment. He's taking pictures and then just... join the group of aliens and follow them around. They are so confused what he wants, but after a while they're just ignoring him, accepting some kind of weird skeleton adopted them or something. It gets even weirder when Sans befriends them and brings his 20 new alien friends to Toriel's space to have dinner and talk randomly about alien citizenship. Toriel scowls him and tells him he can't bring to her all the stray aliens he found outside. That's definitely happened before.

Undertale Papyrus - He rolls his nonexistant eyes and turns towards Sans windows. "YOUR STUPID PRANKS ARE GETTING OLD SANS! GET YOUR BUTT HERE AND CLEAN YOUR SCI-FI THINGY MESS THIS INSTANT!" Then Toriel calls him telling Sans is spending the evening with her. Uh. He gets even more angry. "ARE YOU PRANKING ME THROUGH TIME AGAIN SANS? STOP HIDING BEHIND GOAT MOTHER TO COVER YOUR MESS THIS INSTANT". He stays the fingers raised high in the sky, without an answer. URGH. He has to do EVERYTHING in this house! Sans is so confused when Papyrus waits for him behind the door and starts lecturing him about how his spaceship ruined his lawn.

Underswap Sans - OMG! He calls Alphys to see this and the two idiots they are gets so excited they repair it to make it functional again! Honey will have the surprise of his life when after two hours Blue calls him on his phone to tell him he will be late for dinner because he's stuck in space with Alphys. Honey doesn't even want to know.

Underswap Papyrus - The crash scared him so much he passed out. When he wakes up, he has his ankles and wrists tied, in his own kitchen, while aliens are emptying his fridge and analyzing random objects in his house. ... Yeah, he decides to pass out again to save himself.

Underfell Sans - Aliens or not they just ruined Edge's lawn and he's so pissed because Edge forced him to mow all afternoon and now Edge will get pissed and it's not even his fault! He's getting out of the house Karen mode to scream at the aliens to get their damn spaceship out of there or he's going to call the cops! The aliens are just blinking at him, confused what's even going on.

Underfell Papyrus - This is weird, and he doesn't like it. He's in front of his door, two bones in hands, growling like an enraged animal at whatever is coming out of the weird ship. None of these things is entering his home. He doesn't like it. The alien don't listen though, and they are way bigger than him. Desperate times, desperate measures. He opens the door to Doomfanger. His cat will destroy the hell out of them until they go back in their ship and leave in terror and confusion. Edge is going to serve her an entire salmon for dinner tonight.

Horrortale Sans - That spooked him bad, and he doesn't want to go see. But the cows are still outside and he's not letting aliens steal his cows. He runs outside on all four, picks the cows and runs back home with them. Willow is not pleased to find all the cows inside the house. He's not pleased either when Oak explains that's because of the aliens in the garden. Willow goes to see, and obviously, the aliens are gone. Oak is mad he doesn't believe him.

Horrortale Papyrus - The aliens can't walk two steps out of their ship before an angry Willow comes out of the house. "HOW DARE YOU CRASH IN MY CHICKEN PEN! LOOK AT THE MESS YOU DONE, ALL THE CHICKEN ARE OUT! YOU HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO FIX EVERYTHING OR I'LL MAKE SURE THAT THING WON'T EVER FLY AGAIN!" The aliens laugh nervously at him. Willow picks the spaceship with one hand and smashes it in two on the floor. Don't mess with his farm or eat shit.

Swapfell Sans and Papyrus - Nox is screaming in terror, running around the house to block the door and the windows. Rus is on the couch, looking at him in disbelief. Nox assures him he won't let damn aliens lay eggs in his stomach! No alien is entering the house. Rus isn't sure how to tell him the back door is open and that's like the fifth time he's passed in front of three very confused aliens who are kinda scared of him. Hum. Maybe it's not important. His reaction is going to be priceless enough when he'll notice. He wonders if he has enough time to grab popcorn.

Fellswap Gold Sans - Urgh. He's so annoyed about this. It's way too late for an alien invasion. He opens the window, screams the alien better not make noise before tomorrow morning when he will come to kick their asses. He then closes the door again and goes to sleep. Surprisingly, the aliens obey????

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Hum. That looks scary. He's going back into his room and locks in his closet. That's a problem for his future self lol. Right now, he doesn't want to deal with that.

Undertale Yellow AU idea: SequenceShift

Since my boyfriend @cent-the-proto and I still have severe Undertale Yellow brainrot, we decided to make an AU together. The main concept is UTY characters taking the places of OG Undertale ones, and mashing plot beats from both stories together with some new locations (which are a hybrid of Japanese and Western inspiration).

While this is a 'shift' AU, I'm keeping the personalities of the characters intact rather than swapping both character placements AND personalities. It's what I found frustrating about most Shift AUs: changing the personalities just defeats the point of the AU in the first place imo. I'll be honest, I haven't looked into many other AUs, so if our concept is too similar to someone else's, please let me know. Also, we only figured out the characters and setting, so any suggestions are welcome! (comments or ask box) . Also, should go without warning, this has spoilers for both Undertale and Undertale Yellow, so read at your own risk. Again, not an artist, so I don't have any drawings yet.

With that out of the way, let's get into the core characters of SequenceShift! (title is a placeholder, unless I can't think of anything else)

Clover, The Fallen Human

Gunhat Clover is largely unchanged from their cannon standpoint. Cowboy-themed human, fall down to the Underground intentionally to search for the six fallen humans (yes, six, they're taking Frisk's place), embodiment of justice and all that. Not much else to say, so let's move onto the big changes.

Kanako Ketsukane, The Crown Princess

Kanako takes the place of Asriel/Flowey. Daughter of Empress Ceroba and Prince-Consort Chujin, before having passed away years ago in what has only been publicly stated as 'natural causes'. She's also reincarnated as Flowey (who might or might not get a name change), but she takes the form of a Japanese Water Iris this time around. She also acts as the SAVE function like Flowey in OG UTY, keeps up the friendly facade all the way through, and insists on calling Clover Gunhat despite knowing their actual name.

Ceroba Ketsukane, Empress of the Underground

Ceroba is the Asgore of the AU (originally it was going to be Toriel, but I thought it'd be more interesting). She is the Empress of the Underground, generally seen as a level-headed, yet passionate monarch. However, following her daughter's demise, she has grown a bit of a more bitter streak, and like Asgore is focusing on collecting the souls of fallen humans. Unlike Asgore, she doesn't hold malice for mankind as a whole nor is she interested on waging war on the surface. Instead, she merely collects the souls of humans in the hopes of resurrecting Kanako. Also, both she and Chujin are boss monsters in this AU.

Chujin Ketsukane, the Prince-in-Exile

Chujin takes the place of both Toriel (with a bit of Gaster) in SequenceShift. Originally, he was the Royal Scientist, who's kind nature and ingenuity caught the attention of then-Princess Ceroba, who he eventually married. They lived happily at first, but things took a turn for the worst after Kanako's death. Ceroba's obsessiveness with collecting human souls displeased him and he refused to take part in the experiments. He's since gone into self-exile within the Remnants (aka the Ruins but with a more Japanese architectural influence) and has settled within Ceroba's childhood home. Here, he keeps a watchful eye for any humans who fall to the Underground, hoping to keep them away from the Empress's grasp.

Dalv, the Introvert

Dalv takes the place of Nabstablook. As much of a socially awkward looser (affectionate) as ever, and corn obsessed. Like the OG, he was friends with Kanako before her death, tho I'm not sure if I'm keeping him being a victim of Integrity's bs. Unlike the OG, he's not restricted entirely to the Remnants and actually has a place within the Dunes. He also has a bit of a secret crush on the leader of the Royal Ranger Starlo, just to satisfy you Corn Yaoi lovers.

Moray and Mooch, Ranger Sentries

Moray and Mooch take the place of Sans and Papyrus, respectively. They act as sentries of the Royal Rangers (the Feisty Five taking the place of the Royal Guard), who are responsible for apprehending humans and bringing them to Ceroba. Mooch is as mischievous as ever, still trying to get her hands on every shiny object she sees, much to her partner's dismay. Nevertheless, they remain vigilant at watching over any humans that emerge from the Remnants. In this AU, they're responsible for surveying the region of Lakeside, which is modeled off of the rural Japanese countryside, and takes Snowdin's place.

North Star/Starlo, Sheriff of the Royal Rangers

Starlo is obviously the Undyne of the AU, being the leader of the Royal Rangers. A lot of his backstory is the same, him crushing on Ceroba and sadly not getting her, but still remaining good friends, even after she was made Empress. He and the Feisty Five started in the Sand Dunes (aka just the Dunes from UTY with a bit of Waterfall inspiration) similar to how they were in the original, before Ceroba elevated them to being her personal enforcers. He's still pretty self-centered and idealizes Western culture (hence why he still refers to himself as Sheriff), but he does have a more serious and dedicated side to him. He knows what he's doing is wrong and while he hides it, he's fairly reluctant to bring more humans to Ceroba. Nevertheless, he still carries out his orders in the hopes of making his childhood friend happy. One fun fact, we had the idea for his pacifist encounter taking you to Frostpeak (a MT. Fuji inspired area taking the place of Hotland), where the chase there leads to him freezing, kinda like how Undyne overheats. Bro is not built for the cold.

Martlet, the Royal Scientist

Martlet, surprisingly enough, takes the place of Alphys. Like in UTY, she started as the protégé of Chujin, helping him out with the Steamworks and in building Axis. However, after Chujin fled, Ceroba made her the next Royal Scientist. She works at the Steamworks, which take the place of the Core and instead located in Frostpeak, where it harvests Geothermal energy to power the Underground. While Martlet actually is pretty competent at her job, she's as scatterbrained as ever, leading to a few hiccups in her work and leading some to wonder why she's the head scientist. This is actually due to the fact that she has been tasked by Ceroba to continue Chujin's work on humans. She's complied so far, for now, but she might reach a breaking point soon enough...

And that's the main cast so far! Axis and Dalv still being worked around with and I gotta think up ideas for the side characters along with whatever the OG cast of Undertale is up to, but we got a good thing going on. Again, my comments and ask box are always open, so if you're wanna know more or have a suggestion to bring forth, we'd love to hear. And if my AU is too similar to a concept that's already been done, you're more than welcome to yell at me.

SO I RECENTLY FINISHED READING "Sooner or Later you're gonna be mine" by Staringback on A03

Since A03 keeps refusing to let me in, I downloaded it as an Epub to read it on my kobo

Anyways, for the one who knows, it was sadly unfinished And my brain thought about some headcanons of what happens next >:3 The hc's under the cut (I tried to follow the story as much as I could)

After Sans learns that Frisk is Asgore and Toriel's "prisoner", he gets fucking pissed, because why wouldn't he? Jerry then reminds him that he can't fight them on his own

So Sans goes back to his home in Fell City, with Grillby, and tells Wingdings about it

He doesn't have any other choice but to go to sleep for his plan, to fully gain his magic back. (Wingdings promised him he could kill both Goats if HE WENT TO SLEEP) Sans of course despised to go to sleep while his little lady was captured but he knew better than to piss his older brother

Next morning, he teleports to his home in Surface City and deals with the angry humans who tried to kidnap/interrogate Papyrus

Sans and Pap then go back to Fell City to get his older bro

Before leaving, Wingdings has fun torturing and FINALLY killing Grillby (because THAT'S WHAT HE FUCKING DESERVE)

The three Gaster brothers, Sans, Pap and Wings teleports right into the Dreemurrs home and fight the Goat couple to save Frisk!

Undyne, Asgore's guard, decides at the very last moment to join Frisk's side

Alphys is unable to fight due to her asthma but still helps Undyne and Frisk escape this hell of a house while the skeletons and the goats fight

Even thought the fight was difficult, the skeleton brothers won

Sans was really fucking pissed and disgusted when he learned that Frisk had to act like the goat couple's child. So he killed them. No MERCY (They deserve it too)

Wingdings then completely has control over Fell City and now, no one will stop him from taking control over Surface City

It will take time before the plan would be a success

For now, Frisk, after telling Sans about Whisk/Burgerpants, they save the kitty

Whisk and Tops/Nice cream guy eventually become a couple again :D They'd also move in Surface City

After longs days of rest, because they CLEARLY deserved it, Frisk and Sans get their official date

Over months or years, Wingding's territory in Surface City gets bigger and bigger. He still works for Don Dee but that's only a matter of time >:)

After lots and lots of dates later, Sans and Frisk gets married. And now she lives with the Gaster brothers. In the beginning, they all find it weird but hey, it makes the house lively so they don't mind

Frisk is pregnant! It wasn't planned but Sans and her are still happy about it!

Sometimes when Sans looks at Frisk's round belly, he regrets not having been able to save her from her ex. He still thinks that maybe he could have saved the baby and Frisk before Derek (her ex) causes de "miscarriage"...

Welp, and then they lived happily ever after! I guess? I ran out of ideas but I sill really love the ideas that I got And I really really had to share those hcs to get em out of my head

listening to o superman by laurie anderson and just remembered why that song makes me think of flowey and toriel. before you click off just HEAR ME OUT.

NOTE I'M GONNA YAAAPP... WATCH OUT LITTLE GUYS!!

i have other parts of it i'm up interpreting but this post is specifically about flowey t flower and his mom so we're skipping those.

the "Hi, I'm not home right now, but if you want a leave a message, just start talking at the sound of the tone." makes me think of flowey like mocking toriel after he killed her. or maybe him just walking through her empty house after he killed her.

"Hello? This is your mother. Are you THERE? are you COMING HOME?" makes me think of like toriel's failed attempts to help flowey. once she finds out his identity she wants to take him in, to take him HOME. but she doesn't realize she can't save him, nobody can.

Then we leave the boring ass memories behind with this next one!

"Hello? Is anybody home?" makes me think of toriel encountering flowey after hearing him making noise or something.

"Well you don't know me, but I know YOU. And I've got a message to give to YOU." is what i think flowey replies, wanting to talk to her. tell her something important.

"Here come the planes." an ominous warning...

"So you better get ready, ready to go. You can come as you are, but pay as you go. Pay as you go." i'm not 100% sure with this one but i'd think he's talking about general hardships she's already faced like having her kingdom betray her, leaving to the ruins, and losing her children. can you tell i'm a yapper at heart yet

Unsettled, Toriel asks "Ok, who is this really?"

Flowey replies "This is the hand. The hand that takes." Which I imagine as him telling her he's Asriel before tearing her apart and killing her. As he tears her apart there are flashes of brighter times, of toriel holding asriel in her arms. asriel hugging her tight.

"Here come the planes." He repeats, revealing he was really warning her about himself.

In another run, he finishes his thought.

"They're American planes, made in America."

"Smoking, or non-smoking?"

Flowey laughs at such a meaningless question. After all, it's not like there's much of a difference.

"Neither snow nor rain nor gloom of night shall stay these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Is Flowey warning Toriel that monsters won't stop at anything to be freed from the underground. Even including murdering a future human themselves instead of getting the kid to Asgore.

I think this next part is Flowey having some sort of meltdown, desperately wanting his mother to hold him even though he knows she can't help him. He just wants to believe for a little bit that maybe everything can be ok.

"So hold me, mom, in your long arms."

"So hold me, mom, in your long arms."

"In your automatic arms."

He calls them automatic arms because one of the first things she'll do to comfort him is hug him tight.

"Your electronic arms,

in your arms."

Flowey doesn't care if her arms hurt him. He NEEDS her.

"So hold me, mom, in your long arms."

"Your petrochemical arms."

"Your military arms."

"In your electronic arms."

It ends with him laughing, maybe it's at himself for wanting, hell, even thinking for a moment there was anything toriel could do for him. Maybe it's at Toriel for even trying to save him. Perhaps even both at the same time.
