#Toph as Venture

I was trying to find a post where smb said that non-binary wearing a 12 year-old girl costume was strange.

In my part I felt a little tense and gloomy thinking that a well-written female character's attire was worn by smb (might be a male) who is "genderblind", like willfully oblivious to gender inequality and fair representation in media regarding female characters. Considering being as a nonbinary male (As in "I don't acknowledge gender, but awesome females should be immediately worn by man and poor representation of women never existed. And I am proud to not acknowlege gender and society's issues from gender roles and divisions"-way).

This is less of a controversy if we think that she is nonbinary but leaning more to a female side either like afab or a xy-chromosome female (female friends and/or socialisation).

Anyway like at this point, simply with a fem Toph or a 12 year old girl skin she will look more like female-leaning, to feel it less controversial.

Still some can see them as a gay man, continue to keep their ambiguity and envision them as such for other skins.

actually do genuinely think that mei was probably the runner up for getting the toph skin like for sure until they remembered venture existed. they couldve changed her cryo freeze to be a rock like tophs stone armor with the little eye hole they accidentally gave her even though shes blind. ice wall also a rock. they couldnt change the textures of those too much but i think just some light changes and removing the icy billowy effect from them (or replacing them with like dust billowing) it would mayybe play out well. the ult effect could be changed to be dusty too with like rocks snapping around enemies to lock them in place instead of being frozen. wait a minute should mei have gotten the skin what the fuck

It just gets to me (in a 'YEAH STORYTELLING' way) that Zuko and Azula are hardly ever pleasant with each other, even after Azula brings him home after banishment; because Zuko, still angry and on guard because of both his recent abandonment of Iroh and subsequent self loathing AND his combative nature with Azula bc of how their father's favoritism has eroded his self confidence around her AND how Azula is so used to talking down to him and she probably speaks that way because of how she believes herself to be a monster but she's also naturally more cool headed and confident while he's quick and brash but also, again, Ozai's influence of her as the favorite and golden child keeps them at constant odds no matter what.

And yet, again, how it was Azula that brought him home after it was everything he wanted, but no matter how hard Zuko tried to be the perfect prince, he and his sister were still on two different sides of multiple issues, no matter how much they could have wanted to be siblings. The life Zuko experienced during the worst time of his life began a transformation he couldn't have anticipated while Azula spent 3 years absorbing Ozai's teachings in the Fire Nation with no other family around.
