❥﹒♡﹒☕﹒ 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗶'𝗺 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 as an exchange student who's not a party animal
𝟭. study day by day ( 🪴 )
i am a big procrastinator and when it comes to exams, too often i have left it to the last minute and pulled all-nighters to get high grades, but due to the spanish school system, which includes many more partial exams and midterms than italy (actually there aren't any in italy at all) i will be "forced" to change this tendency of mine, the goal is to study the lessons on the very same day so as to have a greater margin for revision that will allow me to secure my knowledge.
𝟮. allow time to rest/recharge ( 🔌 )
i once read a sentence: "if you have two minutes to do something, it will take you two minutes, but if you have two hours, it will take you the whole two hours". concentrating for a few hours a day, but in an effective and meaningful way is perhaps my biggest dream, this year i will do my best to limit the hours of study and dedicate time to rest and tourist activities that my year in spain will reserve for me (parties and hangouts included).
𝟯. learning a new language ( ⭐ )
i don't speak spanish at all, but i understand it very well. studying and living here for a whole year will definitely help me develop my linguistic/grammatical knowledge to start a deeper study of the language. the more languages you know, the better.
𝟰. get out of my comfort zone ( 🦋 )
as an introvert, i often find myself, especially during stressful times, retreating to my room, wrapped in the comfort of my favorite books and series. the real challenge will be to abandon the safe place for the unknown and finally embrace the idea that the unknown is beautiful, that it has breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and that any scars that might come from it are as precious as diamonds.
𝟱. being proud of myself ( 🍋 )
realizing that i'm doing well, that the me from a year ago who was afraid of failing the university entrance exam has not only now completed her first year of architecture with excellent results, but now lives alone in a foreign country. a year ago i would never have believed it, so i should be proud of it, and not fear that i'm not enough. there is a lot to improve, but celebrating victories is equally important as aiming for the top.

April 12, Xi'an, China, Qinglong Temple/青龙寺 (Part 1):
Qinglong Temple started in 582 AD (Sui dynasty) as Linggan Temple/灵感寺, and became Qinglong Temple in 711 AD (Tang dynasty). The temple is considered to be the cradle of Chinese Esoteric Buddhism (also known as Vajrayana Buddhism or Tangmi) and Japanese Esoteric Buddhism (Shingon Buddhism). It's where Kukai/空海 studied Vajrayana Buddhism under Huiguo/惠果 (more on that later).
Tumblr media
The red ribbons tied to trees are all wishes of visitors. Something to note is that at the time, most of the ribbons were concentrated around the shrine of Manjushri Bodhisattva (wén shū pú sà/文殊菩萨 in Chinese). This was probably because it was April and students were getting ready for college entrance exams, as Manjushri represents wisdom and intelligence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Btw a note for posts on Qinglong Temple and Daci'en Temple: it's considered disrespectful to take pictures of the statues of Buddha and other Bodhisattvas, so I did not deliberately take any pictures of the statues. They might be partially included in some pictures of the architecture though, it's just hard to avoid including the statues completely.
This is a giant bronze vat of water, in old times these vats serve as storage containers for water, for use in case of fires. Today though, these are present simply as part of the temple.
Tumblr media
Qinglong Temple was completely gone by late Ming dynasty, and the current temple was built on top of the original site. The current architecture were built in Tang-dynasty style.

There were renovations being done in the temple, so this area was as far as we went

I am an incoming first-year college student, and needless to say, I've been a wreck these past few weeks.
While some of my classmates are already set on their college admissions, I am still at home, waiting for the results from the two universities I've applied to. It is with a heavy heart that I say that in both universities, I am only on their waitlists. My rank isn't far off; in fact, in one university, I am at the top of their priority list. However, both universities are prestigious and picky, so my future is still undecided. It doesn't help that every day, my parents nag at me for not applying to other colleges.
Well, I did.
But then my parents kept telling me to cancel my applications because either the university was too far from home, or they simply did not like it.
However, just a few days ago, I managed to secure a slot in Fine Arts in one of the universities. But my mother immediately told me to reject the offer since the course was too impractical, or so she said.
So I did.
And just a day after I rejected it, she came up to ask me, "Do you still have the slot?"
I instantly replied no, and she told me to apply again for the same course. So I did.
Today, just this morning, I received a response from the same university, telling me that I did not manage to secure the same slot. Okay, that was alright, I supposed. After all, it wasn't entirely my decision to reject the offer.
But it wasn't alright.
It fucking wasn't.
Because after dinner, after my parents discovered that my application was rejected, they began scolding me for not studying and reviewing enough to pass at least one of the universities I had applied to. The cycle started again. Them blaming me for my failures, and me shutting their voices out and trying not to cry.
I did study. I did review before my entrance exams.
But juggling my academics at that time and my college applications was too much for me to handle— the workload was too heavy.
So now, here I am, hanging on to my last hope — the local university near us that I had applied for Architecture. Perhaps I am already hanging by a thin thread, because every so often, I would find myself staring at my wrists with the urge to slit and cut them.
Is it my fault that I am not naturally smart? My good grades come from late and sleepless nights of studying, from effort and not from pure intellect. Additionally, the courses my parents push me to pursue are not in my interests. I love art, creativity, literature, and writing; but they urge me to take courses majorly related to technology, math, and science— subjects I've never really enjoyed.
I envy students who have parents who support them in whatever they want to do. But at the same time, I can only hate myself for not being good enough to support myself.
The blame is completely on me.

Amidst the decaying glow of New Ebott, NeuroSynth Innovators stands as a symbol of hope despite the growing shadows of corporate greed.
The building itself is a large tower surrounded by a blindingly white plasticine walls infused with the strongest barrier magic that can be made. Though a marvel of modern architecture, it's appearance is not what makes it so remarkable.
Founded by the disbanded members of the Royal Science Commission, the very monsters rumored to have created the core, NeuroSynth Innovators was born from witnessing the terrible misuse of their inventions by humans and misguided monsters alike. Though monsterkind once shared their inventions freely with humanity, believing it would strengthen interspecies relations after the barrier fell, they have spent the last century watching their inventions be twisted into tools for surveillance and destruction.
Disheartened to the verge of falling down, many, though not all, members of the commission decided to start over with a new goal.
Dr. Alphys, a pioneer of cybernetics known for both her brilliance and reclusiveness, is accredited with founding NeuroSynth Innovators. The mission was simple: develop technology that would uplift humans and monsters alike, ensuring the betterment of all not just the elite few. Moreover, by beating other corporations in the tech arms race and getting their inventions patented first, they could fight against the seemingly endless monopoly corps held on lifesaving technology. With broad research fields represented, from their flagship neural chips, to cybernetic augmentations that connect to the soul for human and monster use, to cutting edge healthcare innovations NeuroSynth Innovators rose to the top of the heap faster than anyone could have hoped.
While some belittled their mission, the time and care they took to work with the highest ethical standards and the extra costs incurred by that care, it was well worth it to the rest of the world. This was designed to be technology for all, and their passion was dyed into every detail.
Although founded by monsters in response to human greed, NeuroSynth Innovators has always welcomed like-minded humans into their ranks. Indeed, the different perspectives and unique areas of expertise has been vital to their ability to make tech that works for more than just monsters. How they ensure these humans truly believe in the mission is unclear, the entrance exam is benign and simple, but not one attempted saboteur has made it past the lobby in the last 20 years.
With their quick rise to success and bleeding heart mission, this screening has been one of the most critical elements to their success. While not all monsters believe in the mission, indeed many monsters have turned to all manner of crime in the last century, humans have always been the best liars with the most to gain from their failure.
While bridging cultural divides has always been a priority to NeuroSynth Innovators, this has drawn the attention, and subsequent hatred, of those who saw their technology and beliefs as a threat to their own power...

Why do Indians go to Uzbekistan?
Tumblr media
1. Education Opportunities
One of the primary reasons Indians are heading to Uzbekistan is the growing opportunities in higher education, particularly in the field of medicine.
MBBS Programs: Uzbekistan has become a favored destination for Indian students pursuing an MBBS degree. The country offers affordable medical education with a curriculum that meets international standards. Many medical universities in Uzbekistan are recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Medical Council of India (MCI), making it easier for graduates to practice medicine in India or pursue further studies abroad. The medium of instruction is often English, which removes language barriers for Indian students.
Affordability: The cost of education in Uzbekistan is significantly lower compared to private medical colleges in India. This affordability, coupled with the quality of education, makes Uzbekistan an attractive option for students from middle-income families who aspire to become doctors but are unable to secure a seat in India due to the highly competitive nature of medical entrance exams.
Simplified Admission Process: The admission process for Indian students is relatively straightforward, with less emphasis on extremely high entrance exam scores compared to Indian institutions. This accessibility is a significant draw for students who have the qualifications but are unable to get into top-tier Indian medical colleges.
2. Tourism
Uzbekistan’s rich history, stunning architecture, and unique cultural heritage are attracting a growing number of Indian tourists.
Historical Ties: Uzbekistan is home to several cities that were key stops on the ancient Silk Road, including Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. These cities boast breathtaking Islamic architecture, ancient monuments, and vibrant bazaars, offering a glimpse into a world that has fascinated Indians for centuries.
Ease of Travel: With the introduction of direct flights between India and Uzbekistan and the relatively affordable travel costs, visiting Uzbekistan has become more accessible to Indian tourists. The country also offers visa-on-arrival for Indian citizens, further simplifying travel logistics.
Cultural and Religious Appeal: The shared history and cultural connections between India and Uzbekistan, dating back to the Mughal Empire, have created a sense of familiarity for Indian travelers. Additionally, the presence of Sufi shrines and Islamic heritage sites in Uzbekistan resonates with Indian Muslims who visit these sites for religious tourism.
3. Business and Trade
The strengthening of diplomatic and economic ties between India and Uzbekistan has opened new avenues for business and trade.
Investment Opportunities: Uzbekistan’s government has been actively promoting foreign investment, and Indian businesses have started exploring opportunities in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, information technology, agriculture, and textiles. Uzbekistan’s strategic location in Central Asia, coupled with its natural resources, presents significant potential for Indian companies looking to expand their footprint in the region.
Growing Market: As Uzbekistan continues to develop its economy, there is a growing demand for goods and services, creating opportunities for Indian exporters and entrepreneurs. The government’s focus on modernization and industrialization aligns well with India’s expertise in various sectors, paving the way for mutually beneficial collaborations.
Cultural Exchange and Soft Power: The increasing interest in Bollywood films, Indian cuisine, and yoga in Uzbekistan has also contributed to the cultural exchange between the two countries. Indian businesses in the entertainment, hospitality, and wellness industries are finding a receptive audience in Uzbekistan, further strengthening the people-to-people ties.
4. Cultural Exchange and Diplomatic Relations
Cultural exchange has always been a cornerstone of the relationship between India and Uzbekistan.
Historical Connections: The ties between India and Uzbekistan date back to the Mughal era, when Babur, the founder of the Mughal Empire, hailed from the region of present-day Uzbekistan. This shared history has laid the foundation for a deep cultural connection that continues to influence bilateral relations today.
Cultural Programs and Festivals: Both countries have been actively promoting cultural exchange programs, including film festivals, art exhibitions, and music concerts. The popularity of Indian culture in Uzbekistan, particularly Bollywood, has played a significant role in enhancing India’s soft power in the region.
Educational and Language Programs: Uzbek universities are increasingly offering courses in Indian languages and culture, further fostering academic and cultural ties. Indian students and professionals in Uzbekistan often engage in cultural activities that help strengthen the bond between the two nations.
5. Conclusion
In conclusion, MBBS In Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan is emerging as a significant destination for Indians for various reasons, ranging from education and tourism to business and cultural exchange. The country’s affordability, rich cultural heritage, and growing economic opportunities make it an attractive option for Indians looking to explore new horizons. As diplomatic and economic ties between India and Uzbekistan continue to strengthen, the flow of students, tourists, and professionals between the two countries is likely to increase, fostering a deeper and more meaningful relationship in the years to come. Whether it’s pursuing a medical degree, exploring ancient Silk Road cities, or expanding business ventures, Uzbekistan offers a diverse range of opportunities that are increasingly drawing Indians to this Central Asian gem.
