A Few Tips to Choose the Best Women Slippers
Slippers are considered as one of the most comfortable footwear for both men and women. But when it comes to choosing women slippers, there are several things that one needs to consider. Women slippers can be worn at home or they can also be worn for casual outings. The Women Slippers Manufacturers are designing a wide variety of women's slippers to match their expectations and lifestyles. But when it comes to choosing the best one, there are a few tips that women must keep into consideration. In this blog, we are sharing all those tips to help women buy the right slippers for themselves.
Buy women slippers according to the purpose
At present, women slipper manufacturers are designing different types of slippers to meet the varying requirements of women. From designing slippers for home to designing slippers for market hopping, different types of slippers are available for women. The design, quality, and price of these slippers do vary from each other. That is why it is recommended to buy these slippers according to the requirements.
Never compromise on the comfort
Comfort is not only required in clothing but it is also required in footwear. When buying these slippers, most women only look at their style and often compromise on comfort and quality. But when wearing them, they regret it due to the uncomfortable fit and poor quality of the slippers. We always recommend that pay attention to the size of the slippers to buy the one that fits well and offers complete comfort in walking. Also, ensure that the slippers come with thick sole to make offer support during walking for long hours. Do not compromise on your comfort level by buying low-priced or cheap women's slippers. If you will buy them from reputed women slippers manufacturers in India, you will get comfortable slippers.
Go for appealing designs that match your expectations
The availability of a plethora of women's slippers in the market has made it possible to choose the best design slippers. Women's slippers are available in different colours and different styles. From single-colour slippers to match your outfit to vibrant women's slippers for casual outings explore a wide range of options that match your style. According to the style and design the price of these slippers may vary. But if you are buying from the best manufacturer, you need not worry about the quality.
Other than these things, also check the material these slippers are made of. For comfort and durability, the material also matters a lot. At present, Aygo Footwear is known worldwide for offering a premium range of women's slippers at the most affordable prices. So, stop looking elsewhere and get the best women's slippers today only from Aygo Footwear.

law in pink | s.r
♡ first part | next part ♡
summary: after confronting an unsub, it leaves you with a ugly mark and Spencer decides to give you a gift to cheer you up.
warnings: mentions of physical violence, beyond that a bit of girl power from reader and a sweet spencer worried about you.
this story is spencer reid (season 7) x ssa elle woods!reader
words: 1,567 words.
a/n: by popular demand, here is part two of law in pink, and yes, I will be returning to this story in a short series with chapters from ssa woods!reader x spencer. thank you very much again and I hope you like it.
The first rule everyone should know about you is that they must never mess with your face.
Never.
Because they don't know what a process it is to get it well cared for, hydrated and with that natural glow. They also don't know how expensive your skincare products are (always the best of the best) and your sessions with your dermatologist.
So they should never, but never, mess with your face.
But clearly an unsub wasn't going to know that, a criminal accused of killing 4 women with a twisted mind was never going to think that.
Least of all when his hand punched you straight in the face, splitting your lip and leaving a mark on your cheekbone, causing the taste of iron to be savored in your mouth.
"What, is Barbie going to cry about her face? I don't understand why they sent the weakest one."
You turned to look at him as you heard his sarcastic laugh, which didn't last long as the Gucci logo on your heel was branded on his cheek and he was falling dazed after hitting a box in the process.
"Weak? Please, you messed with the wrong Barbie." You smiled proudly at the sight of him on the floor, pawing at your face and letting out a groan at the sensation of pain. "Now I'll have to make an appointment with my dermatologist and a traumatologist because of you." You sighed pulling the gun away from his body and proceeded to take his hands to cuff them.
Within minutes, you heard some voices calling out to you, so you began to signal where you were. Within seconds, you saw a concerned J.J. and Emily come down to where you were standing, pointing their guns at you.
The scene was amusing and amazing to watch, you on top of a man who was twice your size as well as weight, lying on the ground while his hands were cuffed.
"Malibu Barbie just captured the undercover toy." You motioned for the cops to take him away, noticing how Emily got a close look at your lip.
"That must hurt."
"It'll hurt more for him, these babies are from last season and has a good sole. Fresh from the mail and ready to make a mark." You commented showing your heels to your companions, hearing their laughter at your joke.
The three of you walked out behind the hoard of people, noticing Spencer and Derek getting out of the newly arrived SUV. As soon as Spencer's gaze captured your face in his field of vision, you could feel him notice right away how your wounded face was the focus of the stares.
"What happened?" Derek looked in everyone's direction, stopping your gaze on you and the clear change in your usual 'perfect' face. "Oh no, Barbie..."
"Don't even look at me, better look at him." You pointed your chin in the direction of the patrol car, where your shoe logo was visible on the criminal's ruddy cheek. "My pilates classes taught him a good lesson." You commented smiling, but immediately let out a groan from the pain it was to move the muscles in your face. "But I think it will leave me achy for a few days."
In between conversations, the others convinced you to go get attended to, so you heeded and walked away from them in the direction of the ambulance, so they could give your cheekbone and lip attention.
"Are you okay, Y/N?"
Spencer's soft voice made you forget the pain for a few seconds, turning to see his face and giving him a smile where your white teeth took center stage.
"I'm fine, it was just a tap." The paramedic walked away to leave the two of you alone. You knew it wasn't an answer that would leave Spencer satisfied about your condition, in fact, his intense stare at you was more than enough to make that clear. You let out a sigh, turning to look at the brunette. "Well, I don't think it's just a 'tap out'. I'll have to ask for a couple of days until I show up at the office decently, not with this horrible face."
One of your biggest problems was your appearance, as many may note, because, if you weren't perfect, you couldn't leave your house.
It had to be everything, head to toe, just the way you have it in your head, if not, sorry, but they'll have to wait for you.
"It's not horrible, you still look just as beautiful." Spencer's words seemed impulsive, but they made your cheeks turn pink, even though I wasn't the only one blushing at that moment, Spencer's were just the same.
"You think so?" your eyelashes fluttered softly, watching the boy.
"Y-yes, y-you always look cute, Y/N."
A kiss on his cheek was the positive response you left for Spence to understand that his words were the best choice, and helped push away those thoughts about how bad you looked with a swollen lip and bruises on your cheek.
"Thank you Spencie, your words are always the right ones. Like a good Chai Latte on a cold day." You smiled getting up from where you were, indicating to him that you would go to the SUV.
For the first time in his life, Spencer appreciated his impulsiveness.
About a week later, you reappeared at the office for a full day's work.
Your body was covered by a pink skirt and jacket ensemble, something that was no longer a problem for anyone after weeks of seeing you arrive like this.
The only thing that wasn't pink at all was your black purse, a beautiful Alexandra. K. Joy and of course, the tray full of coffees you were carrying in your hands.
"Miss Universe, you're back." Derek smiled, causing you to walk up to him and leave a short hug.
"Good things always come back, now be a cutie and help me with this, D." You passed him the tray with coffees, walking beside him as you shared a couple of words.
There was a variety of coffees for everyone according to their tastes, you had taken the time to memorize each order so that it was to their liking.
And as soon as you appeared, you heard Penelope's voice call out to you. Your hand rose to greet her, approaching her with a smile.
"My pretty Y/N." The blonde immediately caught you in a hug, causing you to do the same.
"Penny!" you said cheerfully as you passed her a butterscotch frappe with plant-based milk. "I picked out something I thought you'd like."
"Thanks, cutie. How's your lip?"
"Sore, a little damaged, but better than I thought. My dermatologist recommended a magic cream that Lindsay Lohan used, she said it worked miracles and in two weeks it would be just the way it was."
A smile tugged at your lips, starting to pass out the coffees you had bought until you reached the last one: the one for Dr. Reid.
"Spencie." Your voice snapped him out of his head, turning to see you with a smile.
"Y/N, hey. How are you doing?"
"Much, much better, look... My lip looks almost like it did before! I'll get back to my pretty face." You placed the coffee in front of his eyes, giving him another smile. "A coffee loaded with vegetable milk, I heard around that you're lactose intolerant so I took the liberty of choosing for you."
A blush of embarrassment at that secret settled on his cheeks, causing him to lower his head.
"Thank you, Y/N. I appreciate the coffee." He lifted the cup, taking a sip from it and simply gave you a look, causing you to smile and go to your table.
But it was surprise that settled on your face as you saw a box full of skincare products. Your hands went to grab the products, noticing that it was every single one you occupied and ever mentioned.
"What? Guys... Wow." You held up the little serum box, but the confusion on Emily's face turned your excitement to confusion. "It wasn't you guys?"
"I don't even remember what I did yesterday and I'm going to remember your products, cutie. You take a lot of them." Emily laughed softly, but made you look again in search of the person responsible.
"There's only one person who can remember details like that." Derek's words drew your gaze from your desk to that of a certain doctor, who was shifting his gaze back to his paperwork. "And he hides behind his work."
A soft blush settled on your cheeks, causing you to bring the little box to your chest and press it to your heart, marveling at the detail.
Your feet soon made their way to the desk of the person in charge, and catching him off guard, you left a kiss on his cheek where your pink lipstick was stamped on his skin.
"Thank you, Spencie. I'll take good care of it."
Spencer's heart stopped for a couple of seconds, you could read it.
And as soon as you left, just like a tomato the young doctor's face colored. As a plus, the comments from Morgan didn't take long to come.
"Wow pretty boy, you just won the lottery."
Spencer knew it and that caused him to smile, because boy did he win it.

Giovanna Di Botta: Sometimes I feel that the one that cross-dress is my other self, that guy there. That when I’m presenting myself as a woman, that’s who I truly am. I love to just go around town and talk to people, go to stores, have lunch, love the compliments, the way people treat me, it makes me feel happy, and complete.
I’m always open to answering questions from people, and so far, had only positive experiences. I love when a woman comes up and tells me how pretty I am, or asks me about my shoes, or nails, or anything, and we simply chat like two women.
If I want to do it right, it takes an average of two hours if I don’t mess up my eyebrow coverage (which happens quite often) for makeup, and one hour for the outfit, including padding, nails, and hair. I tried to make it quicker, but then I ended up using the extra time that I managed to squeeze for retouching and improving the end result, which in the end makes me happier and more confident.
Clothes I usually get a lot from SHEIN, because I can try different styles and see what looks good or not and return what I don’t want, Poshmark (helps if I already know the brand), FashionNova, Akira, or local shops here, like The Bay – where I got my favourite tube top, Winners, H&M, Aritzia, Zara.

Choose the Best Slippers For Kids - Action Eva Flotter
Buying School Shoes for Kids
You’re a really responsible parent, you must have completed all the major back-to-school shopping and errands a few weeks before school begins. What remains?
Make sure your child’s feet are school-ready! Children’s feet can grow up to 2 sizes in six months if they are experiencing a significant growth spurt. Leaving children with worn-out, tight black school shoes can result in a variety of foot and ankle issues, such as ingrown toenails, sprains, and heel pain. So, if your young princess is growing rapidly and wants fashionable uniform shoes, purchase her school girl shoes that fit well.
Consider these black school shoes shopping suggestions to ensure that your children have the best foot possible:
Purchasing Sizes to Grow Into
The most common error parents make while purchasing white or black school shoes for their children is getting larger sizes so their children can grow into them. Believe me, I have been there! This might be a pricey error since you may need to purchase another shoe pair sooner than expected.
It’s crucial to keep in mind that children’s feet may grow rapidly or slowly, so it’s advisable to get shoes in the correct size rather than purchasing a larger size in the hopes that they’ll fit later. In addition, many toddler shoes are available in a wide range of lengths and widths, making it imperative to measure your child’s feet and select a suitable size before making a purchase.
Buying non-school-specific shoes for school
Sneakers are suitable for specific occasions but not for daily wear. Ballet flats may be acceptable for special events or casual wear, but they are not ideal for the daily rigors of the playground.
You should avoid shoes with extremely high heels, as they can exacerbate leg problems and cause instability.
Are you Neglecting slip-resistant Designs?
Do you need a pair of black school shoes for a teen? Make sure that you give the selection of slip-resistant products some consideration. Senior girls & boys can use the non-slip types as their school shoes and job attire. In addition, they will easily mix in with standard classroom designs because the superior safety features are tastefully integrated.
Youth shoes with slip resistance have non-slip soles and durable rubber outsoles that are resistant to oil & other messes. These durable and comfortable sneakers feature heel impact cushioning, adjustable and cushioned insoles, and arch support.
These beautiful styles will keep your youngsters feeling great for hours, whether they’re in school or on the job during a tough shift!
Avoid Slip-on Shoes and Hand-me-downs
If you are a parent of more than one child, you might be tempted to hand down or buy used school shoes. However, this is something you absolutely should not do because a worn shoe will have conformed to the shape of the foot of the child who wore it before your child, which could lead to foot problems for your child.
Slip-on shoes are likewise not advised for wear over an extended period of time; instead, podiatrists prescribe lace-up, buckle-up, or Velcro shoes for school kids.
Not Checking the Shoe’s Quality
Parents frequently make grave errors while purchasing shoes for their children by failing to examine the shoes’ quality.
Opting for a trustworthy company that offers high-quality shoes when purchasing footwear is essential. Be sure to read internet reviews prior to making a purchase. Additionally, it is vital to inspect shoes prior to purchase. Look for durable materials and designs that can withstand daily wear and tear.
Further, it is crucial to keep in mind that toddlers can be rough on shoes. So, you should avoid spending a large amount of money on black school shoes that will only last for a few months.
Lacking Concern for the Weather
When purchasing white or black school shoes for your children, you should also consider the weather. You will need to select footwear that is suited for the weather circumstances. A few shoes are more suitable for hot weather, whereas others are more suited for cold weather.
Additionally, it is crucial to evaluate the activities your kid will engage in. Pick a good waterproof shoe if they will be playing outdoors in the rain and a durable shoe with strong traction if they will be engaging in a great deal of physical activity.
Conclusion
So, there are a number of common oversights made by parents when it comes to purchasing footwear for their children. The most typical ones are failing to take into consideration the event, failing to take into consideration the child’s age, and selecting inappropriate items. If you steer clear of these common blunders, you’ll have a far better chance of finding the right pair of white or black school shoes that your youngster will adore, as well as shoes that will be beneficial to both their feet and your bank account.

Are you a trans girl or non-conforming and would like to try out feminine clothing? You may want to check this out.
Say you found this dress online and you really love the overall style of it. Great! If you’re like me, you would say “F it! I’ll buy the dress and I’ll wear it how I like!” and move on with your life. That should the end of this guide, right? Except, there is one little problem: not everybody thinks this way. Those who look for the best matching outfits aren’t just searching to fit their style, color, or personality. It also has to do with their body type. If you’re in that situation, this guide may help you out.
Body shape
Believe it or not, there are many different types of body shape (up to 10). However, the most common tend to be the following (in no order):
Rectangle- Even distribution on shoulders, hips, and waistline
Pear/Triangle- Wide hips, well-defined waist, small shoulders
Hourglass- Near-exact hip and shoulder measurements, thinner waistline
Inverted Triangle- Broader shoulders, narrower hips, little waist definition
Apple/Round- Broad shoulders and big bust, thin legs and hips
Many transgender women have the inverted triangle body shape due to several factors such as genetics, bone structure, and age. However, your body shape may also change over time due to a rebalancing of hormones, body fat, and even lifestyle. While you can’t change your bone structure, you can change your body definition through exercises.
Body proportion
Here is something you may find useful if you’re looking to customize your look. Body proportions are unique to every individual and play a factor on clothing and to some extent, accessories such as jewelry. For instance, you may find the skirt you bought looks either too long or short. There are a few areas where to measure your body proportions such as wrist length or neck size. But the best way to improve your dress type is by following the “golden ratio rule” of dividing your body into three:
The way this is read is you’re either one-third top, two-thirds bottom, or you’re two-thirds top, one-third bottom. Once you get more knowledge, you can go upwards even eighths! But for now, the focus is on these two outcomes.
The two-thirds top, one-third bottom words well with long dresses:
while the one-third top, two-thirds bottom works well with more casual clothing:
Body measurements
Now that we got a few problems out of our way, it’s time to figure out what measurements you have. The best way to find out is by using a mirror and a soft measuring tape for body. Measure all the crucial parts of your body, which are the waist, hips, shoulders, and bust. This will determine the type of body you have and have a better idea on what length you will need to try out your clothing of choice.
Shoe size
One thing very important about an outfit is choosing footwear. Although you can use your old Converses with your flared jeans, you’re certainly not going to use them with a ruffled dress. You’re definitely going to want heels or flats! Unfortunately, women’s shoe size are not exactly the same as men. But don’t give up! Fortunately, there are women’s size conversion charts that help you choose what shoe size you need.
To find out your measurements on your own, grab at least two blank pieces of paper, a pencil or pen, and a measuring tape. Place your foot firmly forward and carefully trace around the outer area of your foot. Repeat this with your other foot. Once finished, grab your measuring tape and measure from your highest point to your lowest on both sheets. Measure the width as well. If both feet measure close to 10.5, your women’s size is a 12. However, due to a difference in manufacturing based on shoe brand, as well as shoe type like pumps, the average recommended size is at least 2 inches above your actual size. For those living in other countries that don’t use the US measuring size, I left a chart that shows all the possible measurements you may use to convert your shoe size into women’s size.
What to wear based on body type
Since not all clothing is made for everyone, it’s time to list what is considered the “ideal” clothing choices based on body type. Note that these are opinions from my source’s authors. IMO, the pictures below each suggestion are a better opinion. Your are free to choose your type of clothing.
Rounded or apple shapes fit best with monochrome colors and make the person look more “fit”.
Pear or triangle shapes look more balanced with decorative accessories on top while keeping the bottom more plain.
Rectangle shapes tend to have more volume with a waist belt while pleated pants give more volume on hips.
Hourglass shapes look best when wearing bodycon dresses and cardigans to emphasize volume in their waistline.
Inverted triangle shapes pull off the wide leg pants and fitted top combo the best.
For a much more comprehensive guide for each body type, I highly recommend reading The Concept Wardrobe’s guides. It gives more details on what to wear and how to choose the best combinations. Link is provided here: https://theconceptwardrobe.com/search?query=body+frame
Tips on what to wear
Now that you reached this point, I’m pretty sure you’re excited to try out what your heart desires. However, before you go out and buy that two-piece dress, I recommend researching and observing the type of clothing women wear today. Believe it or not, people will judge based on your way of dressing, from background to social status to age. A simple look like bodysuit and jeans may look perfect on you and blend you in with the girls, but something like a hot pink bodycon will make you stand out, and most likely not in a good way. So how would you choose something that blends you in with society, but also be comfortable at the same time? Here are some tips and pics:
Find clothing that “feels” feminine. In other words, buy clothing that “feminizes” your body, such as tops that make your shoulders look shorter, wrap dresses that make your waistline shorter, and skirts that make your hips look wider.
Find the best colors based on skin tone and hair color. For instance, try out warm colors such as orange if your skin tone is warm.
Dress sexy, but never go too revealing. Seriously, have some respect to yourself. But if you really want to go out wearing, for example, a two-piece outfit, wear one that looks stylish and flatters your body in a great way.
Use accessories that fit and blend well with your body. Large jewelry goes well with larger frame, small jewelry fits with smaller wrist, and so forth. Don’t forget the purse! It is absolutely necessary now that you’re wearing pocketless clothing. Choose one that fits your taste and needs.
Bras and undergarments are necessary to wear now. As you further into your transition, your breasts will start growing and it will become more difficult and uncomfortable going out braless. Start out with a brassiere, then move on to a fitted bra as they become bigger over time. As for down there, I would use boy briefs as they’re similar to boxers. Although HRT will cause it to shrink, it does not make it disappear. If you must hide it, use a gaff or a tuck, but do not use chastity belts (Seriously, stay away from that unless you’re really into that thing).
Optional: use waist shapers or corsets to slim down waist. Hip enlargement pads will also give your narrow hips and butt much needed volume. Breast forms can also give you an idea how big you want them in the future.
Fashion sense
But the most important part of choosing clothing as a trans girl is to wear whatever suits your taste.
For instance, are you more into the traditional and simple feminine aesthetic? Cottagecore may be for you:
But what if you’re the rebellious type that prefers to defy tradition? Well, maybe the alt-girl fashion is for you:
Maybe you’re the type that changes clothing based on season. So if you’re a summer-season type of girl, you’re definitely going for an outfit like this:
How about if you’re into the gym? Clearly your goal is to be like this:
Are you into business casual? There’s also a pic for that:
(The girl in the pic is also transgender! Her name is Suzi Hunter, better known as The Sphere Hunter.)
But we also can’t forget cosplay, either!:
(Cosplayer is Eden the Doll, a trans woman cosplayer! Picture belongs to Geo Leon.)
You’re probably the party type who loves some action:
Casual wear can also be tasteful and attractive too:
There’s so much to pic, but each style says a lot about what type of woman you are.
Where to buy clothing
If you’re interested in finding the right clothes for you, check out places that are especially gender-inclusive. As I’m based in the US, clothing stores such as Target are a good start while higher-end chains such as Nordstrom and Macy’s may have a better variety to choose from. If you’re a thrifty shopper, your local outlets, discount stores, and thrift shops have a surprising amount of great clothing for affordable prices. Although online sites like Amazon, Shein, and Zara have affordable and appealing clothing, many of these brands also have ethical concerns that overshadow their reputation. Dubbed “fast fashion”, they are a source of scrutiny among fashion fans and I would personally avoid them if possible. If you really need something affordable and new, I highly recommend purchasing through discount and thrift stores.
If you’re in need of safe undergarments, check out Urbody. They have clothing suitable for trans people, non-binary, and other identities, varying from binders to tucked leggings. They are founded by trans and non-binary people and use ethical practices and living wages for their workers. If you’re interested in checking their site out, here is the link to their page (I am not sponsored by them): https://urbody.co/
Conclusion
The whole point of this guide is to help you pick the proper clothing and accessories as a newly-out girl. I made this guide since there doesn’t seem to be many that are detailed. Keep in mind I’m still learning about female clothing as I am still in the first stages of transition myself. If anyone would like to add more info that is missing or provide any corrections, please reblog and add more helpful tips as it would help trans girls, trans women, non-binary, and anyone else that desires to wear affirming clothing. Please refrain from using any hurtful language if you’re doing so. Thank you and hugs!

shall we dance? — bang chan. strangers to lovers. fluff. chan gives you his shoes when your feet hurt. conversation inspired by a scene in little women. (0.9k words)
Bright lights pollute your vision, and it’s getting hard to hear anything over the music echoing around the room.
Nobody told you how hard it’d be to look for quiet, even just a thin line, amidst one of the nights teenage girls will be writing about in their diaries when they get home. Quaint gestures of friendliness are starting to feel a little forced. Friends of a friend mingle around, clad in the prettiest dresses they spent months looking for.
You’re not quite sure if you’re enjoying the night or if your thoughts are just a little clouded because no one has asked you to dance. All you know is that your brand new heels are burning holes on the soles of your feet and you don’t think you can handle another look of pity from your friend.
Maybe it’d be best to mask yourself amongst the massive curtains decorating the corners of whomever’s house this is. You’re sure you saw a room there when you’d first walked into the house. So, with your gaze straight ahead at what’s meant to be the dance floor, you start backing up–step by step, careful not to startle anyone’s periphery. The sight of you sneaking away might be the laughing stock of the town.
“Hi.”
The sudden voice startles you. You don’t expect anyone else to be in there, especially when the night is reaching its high.
“Hi. Sorry, I didn’t know anyone was here.” You smile sheepishly. Though, you suppose being caught by one is better than the burning gaze of a hundred.
He has a cute moon smile, eyes morphed like crescents, and he isn’t unattractive either. He’s opposite the spectrum–almost breathtaking–clad in a white dress shirt with a few unbuttoned at the top. You’re sure it costs more than everything you’re wearing tonight. His hair is wavy, but effortless in a way you know that he’d spent maybe a minute to get it to look that way. How is someone like him hiding away from the crowd? If he were to step out, you’re sure that hundreds of girls would line up even just to look at him.
“It’s alright. Don’t mind me.” He’s still smiling, though a little more effortless now. “Stay, if you’d like. It’s a little overwhelming out there, no?”
“I won’t disturb you?”
He shakes his head cutely, hair bouncing a little as he does.
“You’re Miss (Last Name), right?”
You’re surprised he knows your name, maybe a little tempted to ask how. But with the way he’s dressed, and how he’s comfortably lounged in the room, it would be safe to assume he’s the son of whoever owns this house. He must be acquainted with at least a few of the guests his father invited.
You return his smile. He’s looking directly at you, patiently waiting for your confirmation.
“Ah, yes. But I’m not Miss (Last Name), I’m only (name). Last names bring heavy expectations, and tonight, I just want to be (name).”
His smile grows.
“Well then, I’m only Chan.”
The air feels easy, a few giggles escaping both your lips after you’d both introduced yourselves. The unpleasant awkwardness of just meeting someone is almost non-existent.
“Don’t you want to go out there and dance?” You fiddle with your fingers, shifting your feet a little before returning your gaze back on the boy.
“Would you like to dance with me?”
Heat crawls up on your cheeks. You don’t know why you feel embarrassed. Maybe it’s because minutes ago you’d been sulking over not being asked to dance. And while you’d love to, your brand new heels are killing you—you think scars are forming from the way the skin of your feet that’s in contact with your shoes feel like they’re burning.
“I can’t, I’m sorry.” You shoot him an apologetic look.
“Why not?”
“My feet are burning. I don’t even think I can walk.” You laugh, sitting down and taking off a heel to show him your ankles. Just as you’d suspected, it’s painted bright red. Just a bit more friction and you’re sure it’s going to start bleeding. “But I really, really would’ve wanted to dance with you.”
Chan crouches down to inspect your ankles, a respectful hand on your foot to assess if there was any scarring. Then, he starts taking off his own shoes. You don’t even get to ask him what he’s doing, not when he’s pushing his massive shoes in front of your feet.
“Wear mine. Then it won’t have to hurt.”
“But then you won’t be wearing—”
He gently slips his shoes on yours after taking your heels off for you, even despite your protests that he’d be wearing nothing but his socks.
Chan offers a hand out to you, and it’s only then you realize a few silver rings decorating his slender fingers–the ones that are a few inches from your own hand.
When you take his hand, you first discern how big it is compared to yours. He’s very tall, shoulders far broader than yours. It’s driving you a little crazy. Then, your eyes trail down to his massive shoes that’s now on your feet.
Your attention on his shoes is short-lived when you feel a palm grazing over your waist before settling itself in a gentle grip. The music is muffled, but it’s loud enough that you can still dance a little to the beat.
“Now, shall we dance?”
