My Top 5 Arcane: League of Legends Ships (with Explanations for their ranks and as to why I ship them)

5. TimeBomb (Jinx/Ekko)

Explanation: I love them, Jinx is my fav and Ekko follows shortly behind. I only wish we got to see that scene where Ekko convinced her to keep living and join the fight was fully developed, I needed so much more of them fr. 😭

4. JayVi (Jayce/Vi)

Explanation: Mmm...the smut possibilities are oh-so deliciously endless with this one. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

(Also, I am a Bi Vi truther. Same for Jayce, gotta look out for my fellow Bisexuals out here in these fictional medias.)

3. ZaunDads (Silco/Vander)

Explanation: Friends to Enemies to Lovers, Toxic Old Man Yaoi, Involves Silco, Height Difference, Bear/Twink, Long History Together?!! Need I say MORE?!?!

2. JayVik (Jayce/Viktor)

Explanation: I'm not gonna lie, it took me a whole season to actually ship this. Season 1 Jayvik was just alright in my opinion, since I thought Viktor was a mid character compared to everyone else; who at the time, were significantly more well-written than he was. But then I watched Season 2 and HOLY SHIT, the things that it did for Viktor as a character astounded me. He quickly went from "Mid-But-Forgettable Twink" in my brain to "Arcane's Mechanic Christ", which is my funny way of saying how much I adore him now. Oh yeah, it also made me greatly understand the Jayvik hype, y'all fr won the day this episode came out. Jayvik shippers didn't just eat, they fucking feasted cause my god, they're so beyond platonic, romantic, and even marriage, they are LITERALLY time-destined soulmates.

CaitVi/VICait (Caitlyn/Vi)

Explanation: So much tension, so much banter, so much chemistry, I could rant about these two for hours. Yep, it's no surprised why they're labeled "Piltover's Finest", cause they certainly are. They have it all; from the Angst, to the Fluff, and the Smut (JayVi's superior for that though, in my opinion), these two have got it and I'm sure mostly all of it is well-written.

I've been on a musical kick cause ive just recently watched wicked for the first time ever (the broadway slime tutorial version) and MAN. It was so good what can i say. Thank goodness is my top song for the soundtrack rn.

Also top 2-5 can change depending on my mood but hadestown remains untouched ay #1.

I tried to help my friend come up with a list of their own, it was turning out a little tricky for them. So I decided to do on of my own. Maybe it might help, who knows. 🙂

5.) The drunk night in Marley

This is the only season 4 scene you’ll see on this list, for good reasons if you know me by now. The one time I actually enjoyed seeing the main cast this season was when they all could be happy together during hard times like the good ol’ days.

If only Eren had a sudden realisation during this night that maybe future plans were really s**t.

4.) Reiner and Bertholdt reveal

At first I thought this scene was overrated, but looking back at it, I can see where everyone is coming from. From the superior animation to the stellar voice acting (taking about English), this really brings out the emotions everyone was feeling during the iconic betrayal.

Oh, and the music? Being a rearrangement of the song that played during Carla’s death heavily symbolises and makes it hit much harder. I can definitely sense Eren’s sadness and anger here.

But I still love my Berty who didn’t want it to be this way.

3.) Sasha rescuing Kaya

Thanks to a friend of mine, I’ve come to appreciate this scene much more than I originally did. The time when the usual comic relief character finally takes the spotlight to show just how capable they are in combat should certainly be a thrill to watch.

Sasha goes out of her way to overcome her fear of the titans, using nothing but a bow and arrow, all to save a traumatised girl shows a lot about her character. It leaves us as satisfied as her own father.

Until she got tossed aside and reduced back to comic relief right after this that is.

2.) Marco’s encouragement

You should know me well enough to know that my boys will be here sooner or later. And this moment right here is the pinnacle of both character’s traits here. Jean being in denial of Marco’s belief that he’d be a great leader, and Marco informing him on why he thinks so.

This scene isn’t just ship fodder (it kinda is), it’s the starting point of Jean’s character development and how it’ll help finalise his decision of what is the right path to take in this cruel world.

Now if only Marco could’ve made that decision as well. 🥺

1.) The Trost battle finale

Everything about this scene peaks over the entire last battle in season 4! Because Eren did right here!

It just screams iconic and triumph. Eren pulls through his titan instincts to carry the giant boulder to the gate, pure titans are everywhere and the cadets and garrison soldiers have to protect him at all costs, all while Eren inner monologues about freedom and having to fight for it.

The animation is great, the voice acting is great, Call Your Name setting the emotions, it’s just represents what AOT use to be about - last of humanity taking the chance to risk their lives if it means fighting for a better world outside the walls.

Watching NUTCRACKERS

Taking a break from making mediocre reboots of iconic horror franchises, David Gordon Green pivots to making a cloying Christmas comedy that will melt your motherfucking heart.

Ben Stiller plays a workholic forced to care for his nephews after their parents are killed in a theater shooting or something.

It's a Christmas set family comedy so you can guess where every single thing is going from here.

Diverting because of a wonderful performance by Ben Stiller, bringing life and nuance to a cliched character.

It's direct to streaming, so you forgive a lot.

At least David Gordon Green didn't put an idiotic violent marching band in this one...
