Cyberverse was probably my favorite properly alien planet as a whole instead of just a really big sci fi city named Cybertron and i'm so excited to see what they do with it in One, ESPECIALLY with how it seems to be heavily technoorganic and hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Quintessonsssssssssssss eeeheheheheh give me the SQUIDS

actually for that matter the aesthetics?? this is such a fascinating artistic direction that i'm really appreciating like the vaporwave sunsets, the fractal moving mountains and aurora horizon, those busy neon city scenes and the upside down underground towers and... whoof it's all so incredible?? and it manages to be visually stunning WITHOUT just being a bunch of, yknow, greebled nonsense. it looks designed, it looks like it has Culture and Life and Intent behind it instead of being a mess of vaguely robotic detail slapped on. i keep wondering what the significance of the tower on the poster will be. the train things are fascinating. the little hints and implications of society and oh how interesting that could be expanded on. the mecha themselves too are like, halfway in between uncanny valley and stylized tin soldier toys for me in a way that took a bit of getting used to but i'm appreciating more and more how it's visibly and joyfully animated instead of trying (and failing) to be 'live action' like the Lion King

the SCALE. THE SCALE!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE IT IS WE GET SO MANY NAMED KNOWN CHARACTERS PACKED INTO SCENES LIKE THIS. tf canons usually have core casts of characters both for storytelling and budget reasons and yet here we've got so many shown off in just the trailer, it makes it feel like a real populated planet instead of a handful of robots and some set dressing like Aligned feels like to me.

i've got some insane questions like why does D-16 already have a Decepticon brand on him??? why is Alpha Trion alone and sad and did he rip those tcogs out of the corpses of other primes to give to them and why is he some kinda mossy gorgonopsid unicorn?? why is Sentinel getting tentacled and will we see him be ripped limb from limb (positive)?? what are Vehicons here and how do they differ from regular bots and what is their purpose???

the only real issue i have is Hasbro being predictable and shoving Bee in when someone else would really better fit this movie as he's typically not meant to be in this time period/role but eh. disappointed but not surprised and willing to let go and laugh at him being comic relief anyway. there's literally not enough information on anything else for me to say if i don't like it or not yet bc i have no idea how they're gonna execute it, but what is there has me eager and hopeful it'll be good

Here are some! Makomo, the big demon from final selection (he is never named I believe, the one who was put in the final selection by Urokodaki) Tanjiro in the cloud kimono (during final selection as well)! or Urokodaki :] (I honestly really wanna see which slugs could be similar to the cloud kimono and since Tanjiro and Urokodaki have different masks it would be cool to see!)

In a separate post you could do the Kamado family since they all have different styles :] you could even do Tanjuro in this outfit: 

I think it would be cool to search for!! Aoi, Sumi, Kiyo, Naho, and Kanae (the butterfly girls :D!!) Goto too! Kagaya Ubuyashiki, Senjuro, Suma, Hinatsuru, Makio, Koygai, the lower moons, Susamaru, Yahaba, Koyuki, Hakuji (I know you have done Akaza though it would be cool to see his human form!) Hello again!! So sorry it took me so long to respond!! Things have been busy recently and this one has required quite a bit of research. For now, I picked the ones that I thought the most unique and interesting results, and perhaps I’ll make it back to some of the others in a separate post in the future. :D

-I literally went looking for this exact type of slug.

-The orange and the stripes look just like her lil outfit!!

-The blue and pink spots seemed very floral to me!

-This one reminded me a lot of her mask.

-Have I told you guys that Hakuji is one of my favorite characters of all time and that I love him more than life itself? Because he is, and I do.

-A bold choice with the Blue Dragon sea slug, but I was really feeling it, and the way that it branches out into an almost snowflake-like pattern sealed the deal for me.

Koyuki

-Ah, yes. Dear, sweet Koyuki. I love her. Gone too soon.

-The white spots on the pink slug look like her kimono, and the yellow noses and lungs on its back look like her hair comb (not visible in this pic, but it’s there)!

This is what I’ve got for now! I have some more that I want to do (just picked one out for Kakushi Gotou but he didn’t make it in yet!), so I’ll try to make another post at some point soon. I gotta buckle down and do some more research to account for some of the nuances between characters that look similar, so we’ll see what I can come up with! :D

hi bestie!!!! i am happy to expand on ytr nao i love her :D i just haven’t talked about her much because she uh. Dies pretty quickly but she is there and she is lovely!!!

so my main idea for her took inspiration from one of the ytts endings (do not take my word for it i only have a very vague idea of what happens since i’ve never played ytts) where it shows like a grown-up nao who’s become an art teacher. i really wanted to borrow this idea because i found it so interesting :< so she still acts similar to her canon self she’s just a bit older and more mature. i’d like to imagine she’s just starting out as a teacher and so she’s got those first-day-on-the-job nerves and then gets. Goddamn kidnapped

also nao is a candidate in this au so that’s an important note! the girlie was Supposed to be kidnapped this time

one of the most important scenes containing nao in this au is that in place of mishima comforting kanna, nao comforts kugie here. it’s a bit different: she doesn’t lie about her not being able to save kanna (mostly cause that’s not in her personality and because kugie like 99% would not believe that) but instead she focuses on the time kugie and kanna spent together. basically she says something to the effect of: just like how kugie would be there to support kanna whenever she was upset, everyone else wants to be there for kugie because something so awful has happened to her. nao recognizes that she’s a complete stranger to kugie, but she also doesn’t want to sit idly while kugie grieves her sister. this really touches kugie, and for the first time she feels comfortable to show some vulnerability around the other participants.

(there’s also the parallel of when kugie says this same type of thing to comfort ryoko later on ;-;)

oh……..and the second trial. poor nao, who the heck would even vote for her? well-

mishima still suggests to nao that they should vote for each other, hoping to protect his former student when he actually votes for himself. BUT instead of blindly voting for him like he asked, nao also considers: couldn’t it be dangerous if professor mishima gets the most votes? and because she doesn’t want to endanger HIM, SHE ALSO JUST. VOTES FOR HERSELF. THEY BOTH VOTE FOR THEMSELVES 😭

meanwhile, on the other side of the room, there is one person who already knows how the second trial works. our favorite little sou hiyori. he’s ran ai tests countless times, he’s seen this play out. nao votes for mishima, mishima votes for mishima. and he assumes the same will happen here. so he thinks: it would be boring and meaningless for a death to happen here so quickly, i’ll just tie the votes. so thinking there’s no way he could possibly be incorrect, he tells shin to vote for nao and also does so himself.

but….the AIs are outdated here. and this death game is strangely…different. so nao ends up receiving those three votes, and yeah she uh. Uhh. Uh <.<

that isn’t the “last” we see of nao though!!! there’s still the nao ai on the third floor and she’s an absolute sweetheart. but man, nao’s death makes mishima feel so guilty. he feels like he failed in his duty to keep her safe, and he’s devastated about it. but this is a nao post not a mishima post so i will talk more about him another time

tbh, this post is making me realize how many times i’ve put in a scenario where a character doing something selfless/doing something out of love ends up dooming them, but it’s also SO important to their character that they choose that option anyways. like for example, if nao here listened to mishima she would’ve survived, but it’s also important to show her growth in not just wanting to find security in others, but wanting to BE that security for other people and keep them safe.

Ever since my class of 3000 sona took a full swing And im now interested in both muppets And class of 3000 and im again interested in cartoons And shows I used to watch, so heres an Idea I had this morning And make it now =^_^= And sometimes color theory can fucking annoy me -_-;

Now, lets start:

Number one, Sunny And Salieri - so... These two clearly have a HUGE difference in their skin colors, Sunny is darker than Salieri, And Salieri is lighter than Sunny. But I didnt want to leave them out of this color theory check.

Number two, lil' D And lil' G - on the first picture where they are with Sunny, Salieri, Madison and Addison, they dont really have too much difference, but on the fourth picture, they slightly do. Because sometimes when I choose some pictures of class of 3000 characters, on their original pictures from the wiki, theyre a little lighter, And on the Show, theyre darker, And that really confused me. ^////^;

Number three, Madison and Addison - these two dudettes dont have too much difference, but it kinda looked to me like Addison was a little lighter than Madison.

Number four, philly Phil And Brooklyn Bill - same like Madison and Addison, theyre nearly the same, except for Brooklyn Bill who is slightly lighter than philly Phil.

Number five, Eddie And Freddie - Freddie is only a little bit lighter than Eddie, like how I saw here.

Number six, tamika And Bambi - these two are literally the same, And I choose a picture of tamika from an episode from the Show because on her original photo, she was a little lighter just like lil' D.

Number seven, kim And jim - jim is a little more lighter And more Asian Skinned than kim, but theyre both still asians.

Number eight, kam and Jam - same like kim And jim, but theyre both still asians.

now smth that ive always been drawn to exploring/writing abt in my fics is, like,, the reservations one might have after realizing theyre attracted to trevor. cuz like cmon. ik that if i personally were in this situation irl i would be RIDDLED with confliction. like that clashing of "ohhh, i shouldnt.. he smells like death and is literally a murderous meth addict who recreationally shits behind dumpsters" with "oh but hes so hot why is he so hot" is just so ripe with interesting implications and the potential for storytelling. and drama the DRAMA

hm also. ive worked v hard to keep Reader going down this path in this fic w/out it becoming TOO similar to Kacie's story. like yes Reader is still mildly scared of him (("You hoped he wasn't mad now.")) but she isnt pissing her pants over it, and he is not being Too Terrible to her.. that may change a bit as the story progresses and she learns more abt him tho....

another thing: i wanted to immediately give smth for Reader to latch onto, to fuel her lil crush and make it clash even harder w/ those "oh i shouldnt. i rlly shouldnt" feelings, hence trevor's "I love you" during their first hookup (and just cuz yk. he totally would). hes just so charming 🥰🥰🥰

okay so i have an alien au that i really haven't talked about at all except with xyz, and i think it'd be cool to introduce and talk about!!

soo basically the au is found family but not in a sense of found family, but he found another family that's worlds better than the one he had, and the dynamics of said family are more likee friendship-y? it's just the family you chose (friends) over the family you were born into. i cannot think of a way to describe it 😭

ANYWAYS

have a lil sample of the plot outline!

phil and techno, tommy's father and adopted older brother, both got accepted into a version of nasa that specializes specifically in the study of planets, including traveling to them. tommy didn't apply because it didn't interest him, and even if it did, he was far too young. so naturally, interplanetary travel took up a lot of his family's time, leaving tommy at home to take care of himself.

so, jealous, tommy did the only logical thing, and followed emduo to their work! and....broke into the facility.

during his exploration, he ran into wilbur, a mini-giant who's going to be travelling to the same planet as phil and techno. and who also just so happens to accept tommy's request that he be taken along! tommy of course added in a few lies about his age and maybe said his family allowed it, and definitely used persuasion and a little guilt tripping, but nonetheless, wilbur accepted. tommy would be going to another planet! to finally see what the big deal was.

time comes for the day of their departure, and tommy again follows emduo to work, meeting up with wilbur immediately after.

the trip is excruciatingly long and a little jarring to him, a virgin to space travel, but it gets done. so now, tommy's given permission by wilbur to go exploring the planet. it's pretty. scarce, but pretty.

while looking around, tommy comes across a waterfall, which he immediately drops all the technology wilbur gives him to go explore within the water. it feels....weird, much different than the water on earth. that aside, he missteps and accidentally slips into a hole that'd been previously covered by (haven't figured that out yet) and plummets down, down, down, down into a beautiful underground civilization. the only downside? a giant alien-esque being walks by, and tommy knows he's royally fucked when he remembers there's no way out. at least he landed in something soft!

meanwhile back at the campsite with wilbur, their clocks say dusk is nearing. he doesn't think too much of tommy's absence, given that his curfew was a little bit after dusk and that this entire place was huge, it was easy to get a little lost, but as half past his required hour passes, he starts worrying. he's getting anxious when he hears emduo talking about tommy, so anxious he almost lets his fuckup slip. he goes to bed, hoping for tommy to be in his tent, alive and sleeping, as soon as dawn hits.

but he isn't. and to say he's lonely and scared is the complete opposite of what he is. he's acquired a lovely bundle of friends while amongst the pretty town.

pretty fun!! i actually made a doodle for this au and would be totally cool with making one of those pages, because alien designs are one of the more flexible character designs! the doodle i made i'm 90% sure is deleted by now but it was of dream's face and i am SOOOOO proud of it like it's SO cool OH MY GOD x came up with it and i added some things and OH MY GODDDD ASJDFFDSAFJASJFJAS i cannot express my love for dream's face design in this au :)

the au (apart from wilbur growing guiltier by the second) is primarily fluffy with only 1 angsty part i already have planned out :D me and x did talk about this a lot so i can probably bring some of that to the surface :D

i think this is my third day in a row introducing a new au or set of aus. what the fuck is wrong with me ??? i'm like a hoarder but instead of random crap it's minecraft block men fanfiction universes that occasionally are sprinkled with g/t and vore 😭

so while i keep thinking about Things and Stuff, i wanna talk more about my lovely lulu!! because it's always a good time to talk about the best boy :) rambling underneath this cut!!

tada! from the pc box! :) so, like i said, i've had lulu for a very very long time, but he was only officially mine when my parents got me a poke ball for him when i was younger! i keep thinking about changing it to a cool luxury ball in the future, but there's a lot of nostalgia attached to that ball so i think i'll just keep it :)

but! he's pretty high level, as you can see! we um. outside of the other pokemon the academy shoved onto me (...i feel kinda bad because she was a sweetie but she reminded me of a lot of bad times), we actually took on a lot of things by ourselves! with miss sprigs who helped us sometimes, but while i've always said lulu's super strong, this is even more proof of it!! but oh, interesting story - we took on some gyms together, but he actually didn't listen to me a bit at first! when we took on miss katy's gym, we actually hadn't battled as a team before, and it was kinda...starting to get hairy because we didn't know what we were doing, even though we knew each other real well. we got it together enough to get her badge, though, and three other ones too!!

and as you can see, lulu's tera typing is different!! so, um, it turns out in medali, there's a really nice lady there who's an amaaaaazing cook, and she can also help your pokemon change their tera type!! heehee, you'd be surprised how this trips people up a lot! lotsa people would wanna use fighting type moves on him, so i'd whip out my ol' tera crystal and tada! another immunity for my lovely boy! :D i don't use my tera orb a lot nowadays but i still do have it, and it's kinda funny to watch trainers adapt sometimes~

his moves are mostly just stuff he learned naturally, but we definitely tried to strategize too! iron defense was good for making lulu even tougher to smack around, while smack down helped bring some of the flying types that'd give him trouble down to the ground so he could beat 'em even easier! that's mostly what we do, though he does have some trouble with more flashy attackers...if i could afford some TMs, i'd love to teach him some moves to help with that, but he does pretty well on his own, yup yup.

it isn't all sunshine and rainbows for lulu, though :( from, um, what the center ladies have told me, they think that he was originally what they called a 'breeding reject'--some people apparently breed a lotta pokemon just to breed a super perfect one, and then just release the others out into the wild! without a care in the world for how they'll live!! it makes me so so mad >:( lulu managed to make it out in the wild, but it's due to that that he has some health problems

namely, that iron deficiency. but that's okay!! while he has a harder time than most orthworm at absorbing iron from dirt and the ground (he actually weighs a lil more than most orthworm as a result but i've been trying to help with that!!), that's where all of his iron supplements come in! they're easier for him to absorb and help keep him nice and healthy :) they cost a pretty penny but i would give that up and more to ensure that my best buddy gets the lead the kind of life he deserves to!! because i love him lots, and i know he loves me too <3

but yeah!! lulu is the best partner i could ever ask for :) i dunno why i just felt like rambling about him, but if anyone's managed to make it this far, kudos!! i really, really hope that one day we can find some people who'll give us a strong challenge, but for now...i think we're mostly fine just going into town and trying our best to live life as we always have in zapapico. :) and we can get our energy out on those weird crystal caves, random students who ask for battles, and any pesky outbreaks that mess with the miners!! we'll always be here to save the day for those yep yep!!

maybe one of these days, i can try to make a post about the things i've also learned raising lulu...i know orthworm can be tough for trainers to raise, but i've had a lotta experience with taking care of lulu. but that's a post for another day!!

ooh I'm trying to remember honestly. I think I got into whump and then felt a bit odd posting it on my main so made a sideblog, and then decided to post fic on it later on. I'd been posting whumpy/angsty fic on ao3 for longer than I knew whump was a thing, but finding the community on tumblr has been fab. I havent written much at al in recent months/years, but I do take a lil quiet pride in keeping the blog updating regularly and trying to seek out new and "undiscovered" whump art and media to reblog for folks, alongside the popular stuff! but mostly it's just fun and I'm glad I did start it!

so I answered this one in my last ask response. just trying to think if I missed any tropes... the hidden injury trope is of course a great one. oh I love 'enemy turning up at the door wounded'. honestly I tried pretty much every trope and I think it just depends on tone and vibe for me. I'm definitely more interested in the care taking side of whump though, the recovery process rather than the whumper/torture side, though I sure enjoy a good, whumpy gif!

ooh I love stoic and proud whumpees best I think, as much as I love a good pathetic cat of a whumpee too! but I'll read any, "broken" whumpees, defiant whumpee, suspicious whumpee, whumpee who pretends to be obedient and is biding their time... I love a good trope, and I also love when that is subverted *shrugs* not too picky with my whumpees!

though that said, i do have a preference for male or non binary whumpees, female ones can hit a squick for me sometimes, though I did enjoy Haro whump's group whumpees, which had female whumpees included!

fav type of caretaker...

oooh, I like most of them really!!! caretaker that's trying really hard, caretaker that wants to help but can't (like villain's sidekick or a prison guard), fellow whumpee caretakers, gruff caretakers and soft ones, astute caretakers and oblivious ones... all depends on how they're written really! I'm not usually the biggest fan of reluctant caretakers, or carewhumpers or whumpers turned into caretakers... that doesnt sit the best with me for some reason. but I do love caretakers who fuck up and say the wrong thing, or have to punish the whumpee in public, or misunderstand things or whatever. even morally dubious caretakers can be fun depending on the vibe. I dont think I'm too fussy rly!

uhhh yeah, I cant remember!! I'm terrible at remembering how things began, like how I first met friends or when i started watching a show , I'm sorry! I remember I first discovered a 'Boys in Discomfort' type collection of artwork and stories on DeviantArt, I read fics and followed artists on there for a good while. I may have found tumblr through Ao3, that's possible, not sure how long it took to go from my main tumblr blog to having a whump one... sorry this is a bad answer but I really dont remember! but I'm glad I did find it! met some great folks on here and read/seen some amazing work :)

and omg thank u !! i'm primarily interested in cultural anthropology, especially folklore and oral tradition, but recently (and largely as a result of me starting to follow some sports) have gotten VERY swept up in sports anthro. it's relatively new as academic fields go but that's some of the appeal tbh. i'm hoping to maybe start drafting a journal article in that area over break but we shall see if i actually get to it hehe

as for the name thing, tara is good :) i used squish online for years and am still very fond of it but there is some appeal to being addressed with a name and not a verb

Novel spoilers inbound!

So a lot of the time I end up shipping what's canon or implied to be canon. The two most prominent examples are StrausxRed and AzuraxAmber.

Being able to show how Straus and Red's relationship has developed throughout the novel has been an absolute delight. I love their dynamic with my whole heart. Both are societal outcasts trying to find a place for themselves in the vast Multiverse. When Straus first saves Red and welcomes her in, she falls for him like- probably within a week or two of knowing him. It took Straus a bit to reciprocate the feelings but he got there. They are definitely among the most realistic relationships in these stories.

I have to give credit where it's due though. Atem does the writing for both Straus and Red, so a lot of what makes their relationship special comes from him. It's how you get moments like these:

week sixty-four

this week. woah. it was......... a lot.

well, to start off... i have a crush on v. i figured this out on monday and since then its gotten so severe lol. monday to friday was spent thinking ab him and also apparently not hiding it very well from l. ill come back to this later but this entire chapter will for sure be ab him and also in sm detail.

ive kind of talked a lot ab him and just my “new friends” in general a lot w l and my mom. i think my mom even has suspicions that i like either d or v (bc i talk ab them the most prob).

i started spamming n, s and t and also i, m and t ab him. i wont be able to cover what i told them all individually but n def received the most detailed info yet only one pic (WHICH WAS A HORRIBLY EMBARRASSING ONE I TOOK ON BEREAL WHEN IT CUT EVERYONE OUT AND THEIR POSES SO IT WAS JUST HIM NOT POSING AAAAA I FEEL LIKE A MOM WHO TAKES PICS OF HER KIDS WO CONSENT TT). i talked A LOT w s ab him too and w t i just spammed quickly on monday/tuesday i think, i cant bother checking. when i told i, m and t they immediately asked for a pic and i was scared theyd bully me lol but they said hes solid WOO! s approved of him too, saying the nail polish and his guitar made him seem very much like my type.

ill give u all who might be reading this a lil description of his pros. i would say a reminder to future me as well but yk maybe we end up together so :* heres what weve got so far:

on wednesday we had band class and i was MESMERIZED. he had a concert that same day so he was dressed up in a navy button-up, black jeans cuffed over a black pair of chelsea boots. i had to leave a couple times during practice bc i had to practice harmonies w the singers and i remember literally feeling sad ab not being able to stare at him playing the piano so perfectly.

in the evening i went out to the bar for the weekly music quiz they do. i went w a, c and v at first but later on d and p joined (not dan and phil sadly). i was super awkward lol but it was my first time hanging out w just them and it felt so,,,, new to me. im glad i did it though, ig? i got to see him even if it was awkward. also, i think d has my old backpack that i left to a thrift shop. its a floral pattern w black faux leather details and gold buttons. its quite cute and it fits him really well.

i did eventually warm up a bit but nothing crazy.

i was already comfy around c but after wednesday, i was also comfy around d. he was so nice that i even questioned if i liked him as well but turns out i was probably really desperate TT i tend to never be interested in ANYONE when i like someone and thats really obvious now. even though my chances w v r low, i still deleted all my dating apps and stuff bc i dont have the desire to go on them as of rn.

on friday i had been CRAVING a party to go to all day. i was just waiting for someone to send a message saying “yo, party at vs place!”. we usually party at his place. i literally ranted to my mom ab how bad i was hoping for someone to throw a party and this wasnt even just bc of getting to see v but i was genuinely so socially starved. finally, around 19:30 id say, someone sends a message in the class gc telling everyone ab a party at his place. i immediately message l begging for them to come w me and even saying if they dont, ill go either way bc i want to go so bad. they end up declining and i go to the party myself. i get ready in a few minutes, just fixing my day-old makeup and eating and drinking water and stuff so i wont throw up the second i drink alcohol. i was so quick and i was walking w such speed around the house so i think my mom has probably started to connect the dots now that theres someone i like bc im never that excited ever. i leave along w my mom who took the dog out for a walk. since v lives so nearby she walked w me pretty much the entire way.

id never usually be this confident but i had been talking w s the entire day and she hyped me up SO much. i actually love her sm for that. i arrive there, v throws down his keys from the balcony, i catch them and go up to his apartment. i was a tad bit quiet in the beginning but i really tried to force myself to just relax and look cool and i did after a little while. we blasted metal and one of the first things they did was that everyone of them, c, d and v, went out for a smoke so i joined in even though i dont smoke but i enjoyed the lil passive smoking sesh on the tiny balcony, stuck behind d and v.

(bereal just went off, vs so cute).

anyways, i quite quickly felt more relaxed, i kinda forced myself to sit more,, relaxed and stop fidgeting and i got more included in the convo by queueing songs to play. i first asked v to queue kingslayer by bmth and babymetal and he was super excited ab it so i was so glad he liked it. we listened to it on a party a whileeee ago and i remember being so excited ab the fact that he liked that song too. a had arrived by now and hes v good to have there in that sense that he will make me join in the convo somehow if i havent talked in a while. he made me queue another song and i queued drowning lessons by mcr. i was so caught by surprise and i always get so shit at using tech shit and the internet in front of ppl, idk why, so v started guiding me on what buttons to press TT i hadnt thought of drowning lessons in the first place actually but i just kind of naturally went w mcr for some reason and then ended up choosing my fav song by them. we listened to it and v was like “DID HE JUST VOICE BREAK???” and i was like “oh, maybe? i mean its their first album so the mixing and recording might be a bit shit” and he replayed the part and was like “THERE IS A VOICE BREAK!” and c started explaining to him in distress that its just how u sing punk TT after a while v was like “its still going? how long is it?” and checked and it was right before the outro and i was like “waittt, we havent gotten to the best part yet!” and he leaves it and the breakdown comes and he does a stankface and just looks at me like “oh, a breakdown ending, hell yeah!” and i was so happy haha

last song i queue is taking you out by passcode. as i was typing it v read out what i was typing and kept guessing songs, heh, it was so cute. he asked me ab the band and stuff and then said like “oh, she growls really well for a woman” and the proceeds to elaborate in distress that he didnt mean it in a misogynistic women-cant-growl type of way but in a its-genuinely-harder-for-a-woman-to-do-metal-growls. it was quite cute, he tends to do that a lot, like overexplaining things so ppl dont think hes being a dickhead even though he says very normal things TT its so cute and it really shows that he cares.

i mentioned that i was ab to start learning growling w my vocal teacher and how she also said she wants to get the singer of finntroll to come and teach growling to me (WHICH IS SO COOL???). v was like “oh my god, im also ab to practice growling w my vocal teacher” and then when i told him ab the singer of finntroll thing he got so excited and just “what??? for real??? thats so cool???” and proceeds to be like “omg, when ur w him tell him uve got a friend who wants to have a lesson w him too” and c joins in and says the same. i felt so cool in that moment haha

me, c and d went out to go meet the ppl from school who had been touring all week. before we left i went to pee and literally on the toilet i was smiling sm bc i felt so comfy and happy and all that in that moment like, i was talking to him??? and he was talking back???? and he smiled???? he wanted to talk to me????? i did a lil happy jump sesh after i washed my hands. then otw to school, me, c and d were jumping around and running and yelling. them bc they were drunk, me bc i was so excited abt finally feeling comfy w them + obviously getting to talk to v successfully after crushing so hard on him the past week. i was so happy too bc i finally felt like i kind of belong. i felt for the first time true that like “oh my god, they dont hate me!”. so while meeting the ppl at school i was sooooo happy and like greeting everyone and just smiling and feeling so cool and included and aaaaaaa i was so happy i cant even explain it. c and d r the coolest ppl ever!!!

we went back w s + we left d behind for a bit, sorry d!! now this was when i was truly connecting the dots between s and v. partypooper. i did tag along to the bar w all of them afterwards though. i just went by my place to eat something and get my id.

i arrived to the bar and i sat down next to c at first but later moved next to d so i could sit on the couch. me and c went to buy drinks and then d left to go smoke. there was an awkward space between me and v so i tried to subtly move closer to him and later when d came back he just sat in the spot i sat earlier so i sat between him and v.

more ppl arrived and i ended up becoming squished between d and v. NOW THIS. this changed me as a whole human being. i have been terrified of men all my life and w not specific reason bc the thing is that its not rooted in like, being scared that theyll do something, i just genuinely get more tense around men than women. this moment was so, special to me and not just bc i was squished next to v and our arms and legs were in constant touch but like, i got this kind of realization that, maybe i dont need to be nervous. like, theres nothing to worry ab. i trust d and v. theyre really nice. d i was already comfy w since wednesday and v i just that evening got comfy w. although i am touch deprived i really just,,, felt so happy, safe and relaxed in a group if people, in the middle of two men. i didnt feel the need to fidget out of nervousness and stuff. i was just, calm.

v looks over at me and asks me how drunk im planning to get. he himself says he wants to be so drunk he throws up. i jokingly reply saying i dont want to throw up. he starts showing me a scale w his hands, going down from ten and giving each level its own name so like “this is throw up drunk, this is like this and this is that...” and i end up saying i wanna get slighty above drunk and hes just like “so like a six?” and i nod. he says something along the lines of “thats cool, thats solid”.

later a girl sits next to d and begins talking w her. he starts whispering w v over my lap and i just sit there laughing awkwardly, hoping someone would notice and laugh w me as well. they dont talk for too long but they do this again later and talk for like two minutes straight over my lap and i just use this time to admire vs back and his ear piercings. d apologises and i chuckle and tell him its fine and that i didnt mind (i really did not bc i am truly so touch-starved). d later tells me ab this girl and bc of the music he has to really be close to my ear and talk w me. we talk like that for a while and he says hes glad i understand his situation. long story short, this girl had apparently been trying to flirt w him even though he has a girlfriend. i think he handled the situation really well.

v once again looks over at me, this time as were both kind of resting against the booth, bodies facing each other. he just asked how i was feeling today but it felt so intimate and i was savoring the conversation and eye contact as much as i could. i told him that i was really craving social interaction today so i was really glad i could tag along w them. he acted a bit funnily so i asked him how drunk he was. he said he feels a bit sick. idk why but that convo was so :’) i am TREASURING it.

him and s decided to leave, making almost everyone else leave. i stayed for a bit w a and c and some other unknown ppl but decided to leave after a bit. while me, a and c went out when they went to smoke i saw a bunch of ppl from both elementary and middle school. d, l, n and t. i was kind of hoping one of them wouldve noticed me earlier while i was w v and all the others so they could be like “omg shes sitting next to two guys, i wonder if shes dating anyone of them” or like “omg she has such cool friends now”.

okay, thats all on friday. saturday however, i met up w l for a bit, i tell them ab my crush on v. i sit them down, hold their hands and keep eye contact.

“so on wednesday we had a conversation on tiktok and i talked ab how boy obsessed i am feeling these days, right?”

they continue looking at me, asking me if this is ab e. i dont tell them yet.

“so after i said that, u said ‘well as long as its not d or v bc ik theyre the only friends we have but i assure u there r better alternatives’”

they begin staring at me in shock and yell:

“l! not them, omg! which one is it- no, wait. let me guess... d?”

i look at them for a bit before replying: “its not d.”

we talk ab this for a while and i tell them ab friday and all that and it was sm fun lol

after me and l ahd hung out i went out to a proper party held at school. like dancing-beer-pong-bar kind of party. i met d and some others outside of the enterance and say hi. i then go inside and immediately meet c and c. they bring me to the dance floor and shows me where all the drinks r and everything. i see v playing beer pong. i dont like dancing at all so i join for a bit but leave soon enough. i sit and talk w a for a while. when v sat down on the same couch i was in i told a who was sitting on the other side that she could sit down on the couch properly instead of just sitting on the armrest and so she did and my evil plan worked, i got to move even closer to v. after a while it was finally our turn to play beer pong, we played w just water though. it was my first time playing and i was in the same team as a. she was so good? we played again v and two others. it was so humilating to play against v but my team won thanks to a. she was really awesome. during our last cup, v tried distracting me by hovering his hands over the cup but it literallyt made me aim better bc i could look at his hands TT he only distracted me w his hands and never a.

i left after s arrived to the party bc i got so sad seeing her w v lol but i was overwhelmed by the party anyways lol
