Thoughts on the Tony’s so far: I didn’t like that JayZ showed up and overshadowed the people ACTUALLY IN THE SHOW. Like Alicia Keys wrote the show it makes sense she’d preform but JayZ had next to nothing to do with this. The cast of Hell’s Kitchen is really fucking good and they were overshadowed by these celebrities.

This is the first performance.

How are the rest of the shows even supposed to try to match the level of hype and excitement? Why let them go first??

I’ve heard such mixed things about the outsiders musical and I have some thoughts.

1. I love some of the musicals that aren’t original works (jukebox, book, movie, etc.) but there’s so many and it’s starting to feel really dull

2. I HAVE NOT HEARD THE WHOLE SOUNDTRACK ONLY SOME (I wanna listen to it I just haven’t gotten there yet)

3. The tony performance was amazing. The fight scene was great. The song was good, not my favorite but I still loved it. Back to the fight scene, the execution was amazing, but I feel like if that’s the amazing scene they decided to show at the Tony’s then was the score weaker?

4. The actors and directors are PHENOMENAL

5. I was not expecting them to win. I personally preferred merrily or Hell’s Kitchen. I wanna dive more in but I was definitely surprised.

THE TONY AWARDS ARE ON AND I AM SO THRILLED.

There are so many of my favourite artists there this year and it makes me so happy.

I also want to mention the first two openly out nonbinary performers who won Tonys!! Alex Newell from Shucked and J. Harrison Ghee from Some like it hot ‼️‼️‼️

I am so proud of everyone and getting to see all my favourite actors get Tony’s.

I’m a month late but let’s talk Tony’s into the woods DESEVERD all 6 nominations. Phillipa soo did so good in her prefromance of Camelot. Lins little laugh with that funny girl was so cute. Shucked deserved best musical
