the final gambit PASSES AND SOMEWHAT EXCEEDS MY EXPECTATIONS
#I guessed some stuff but not the specifics so that’s always fun#the twist was good#the guy was creepy and a little out of nowhere but I think it still fit#I also like how it paralleled the death of Emily in the first book#plus the bonus content of this was hilarious ngl#Toby and eve tho……..Toby……..I can’t believe he has to….maybe he’ll find happiness#he does have two daughters#Jameson and Avery are fine and nice and cute but I’m still on graysons side#I know I know that’s not the point they spent three books negating that point but we move#I really did enjoy the end#I thought she would give the entire fortune to eve#but I liked how she walked the line AND I love the game thing it fits so well#ALSO THE CHESS SCENE THOSE SCENES WERE SO GOOD MY GOD#took me OUT I was so scared I also didn’t expect Toby to throw the first game !!!!#wack wack wack#I drew so many family trees while reading it and took random notes because there were SO many things#I was also like convinced Chris and Liam were gonna be the same person#I’m so happy for Xander#literally one of them is allowed to have a good relationship with their father#my stuff#the final gambit#inheritance games spoilers
