But she also does her own thing, putting out music as a solo artist and launching a North American tour, which brought her to Webster Hall over the weekend as Friday night became Saturday morning.

Thanks to @ bubbelpop2 for calling Spamton a “clam man,” which set off this train of thought:

So, a pipis is “an invasive species of freshwater clam”, right?  Apparently, Toby didn’t make that up, either:

And Spamton, of course, has a strong connection to Gaster.

Do we know any other clam-people who are connected to Gaster?

Well, she is a Goner, so, she may know Gaster.

So the question now is, why clams?  Why is Spamton even shooting clams at us- like, why clams, of all things?  There are plenty of invasive pests, much more well-known than pipis, that could have been used to symbolize spam and viruses.  Why not roaches, for instance?

Is there a connection here?  Is this a red herring?  Or- since I can’t even recall anyone mentioning this before- am I just afflicted with Deltarune-theory-itis, where I’m seeing connections where there are none?

Blink Twice
